In my opinion one of the best taco shops in the Nuremberg area. At several locations, Hot Tacos is working with cheerful employees to bring a piece of Mexican food culture to Germany. The products appear fresh and prepared with love. Particularly noteworthy are the carniatas, which taste the most authentic. The only real point of criticism is that for those on a vegetarian diet, the selection is small with only one filling and unfortunately in no way authentically Mexican. The general atmosphere is really nice, especially in the summer months.

Great Mexican restaurant with very good, tasty food, a large selection of drinks and on-site service. When the weather is good, the seating outside invites you to linger thanks to the many plants. The ambience is harmonious.

Tacos were delicious. You can order a variety of tacos. My family loved the turkey tacos, but my favourite was the pulled beef.

As a quesadilla lover this place has surpassed what I define as a good quesadilla. We tried chilli, pulled beef and chorizo, all spectacular. The treatment has been even better, super friendly and fast clerks ^-^. 💯 by 💯 recommended.

The food is expensive and nothing extraordinary for the prices. The staff is unfriendly and dry. The kitchen and the staff who work inside do not look exactly hygienic. I wouldn't repeat. Also it didn't sit well with us, the guacamole was very artificial

Mega bad service, cooks without gloves and at the same time handles money etc. Everything costs extra, this is not disclosed and the host insists on speaking German. Bad experience.

So people, everything has its limits. I've enjoyed eating at Hot Tacos for ten years and have tolerated the very different service experiences. A woman stood in front of me today at hot tacos for some time. When she comes and orders, the boss on duty, who is visibly in a bad mood and has reached his performance limits, grumbles that it is taking a very, very long time. He has forty meals to make, so there's nothing going on right now. Half an hour, absolute minimum. The lady leaves. In between, the duty boss shouts at two (shrugging) colleagues who have a question. He whispers loudly to the employees in front of all the guests whether he has to do everything now. Nobody just talks to me. I speak to the boss v.D. at. No Answer. I'm standing right at the counter in front of him. He just doesn't talk to customers anymore. I ask my colleagues if there is no more food now. Shrug… I can only shake my head...

In my opinion the best taqueria in Nuremberg. We were warmly welcomed and shown the menu. Everything we ordered was amazing. The pineapple-habanero sauce is recommended.

Hot Tacos is and always has been worth the trip. We always come from Munich to eat a burrito and are always very satisfied. Please think about opening a branch in Munich at some point ❤️

I enjoy being a customer here! The food always tastes great and the service is extremely friendly. The selection isn't the largest, but that's not a bad thing as the dishes are all the better for it.

The place that redefines my understanding of a word “Taco”. Till now I perceived it as something “fast-food-like”, but now after this visit I can honestly recommend it as a highly elevated experience.

First of all: The food was 10/10 and I have rarely eaten such delicious tacos. Prices are a joke. For 3 tacos 16€ / 13€ is just steep. Unfortunately, you don't really get tired of it. Ambience is very boring. Only on the outside can it be endured a bit. Somehow we were the only people there, even though the city was completely full. But everyone was sitting somewhere else. But the worst thing was the employee in the kitchen. I was in a very, very good mood and entered the store and was neither greeted nor given proper advice or service. He didn't answer my questions. Actually hardly spoke at all unless it was absolutely necessary. No bon appetit requested, no drink offered. Simply the worst customer experience in a diner. Unsympathetic and borderline rude. It ruined the whole dining experience so much that I can only give it 1 star. Normally this doesn't matter much. The other two employees were at least trying hard. Unfortunately that doesn't solve it. Clear recommendation: Where else will you and your money be valued.

Eating is “bast.” Just Mexican (admittedly I'm not the biggest fan). I found the prices a bit high, but still within reason. The employees do not shine with friendliness, as is unfortunately so often the case in “cool” shops. All in all ok, if you like Mexican food you will definitely get your money's worth here.

The coolest store ever! And super fair, I've been going there for many years. I haven't noticed it myself, but if there was ever a price increase, it was years ago and it must have been in the 50 cent range. No trace of the outrageous Corona madness. The guys at the counter are also great! Everything done right. PS: Of course the food is A1, otherwise I wouldn't have been going there for so long 😍

The food is always really tasty 🌮🌯🫓! Last time I was unfortunately surprised by very hot chili 🌶 in the salad 🥗 🥵... Okay in terms of quantity. In terms of value for money, a little larger portions would be nice. Quality is always reliably good 👍🏻.

The tacos are excellent, no question. Authentic Mexican taste, well seasoned, the meat tender and well fried. Top! Unfortunately, the service seemed grumpy and impatient, which was a shame. Otherwise highly recommended.👍🏽

Been there again for a long time. Highly recommended back then. Burrito (turkey) was ok, but veggie burrito bowl was barely edible. Grilled vegetables felt like 1-2 mushrooms and pieces of pepper. The rest was rice and salad drowned in balsamic vinegar. Refried beans and guacamole (as described on the menu) were forgotten.

Actually a nice shop with good food, but unfortunately the employees are very slow. If you don't want certain ingredients in your filling or want to follow a vegetarian diet, it's better to ask several times, otherwise you'll just end up adding random ingredients without thinking. You cannot expect friendly answers to your questions.

Food great. Staff totally disrespectful. I was there again after a long time. Since the burrito seemed smaller than before, I asked the staff if that could be true, and the answer I got was that I had probably just become fatter. Rarely have I received such disrespectful statements.

Essen super. Personal total respektlos. Bin nach langer Zeit mal wieder dort gewesen. Da mir der Burrito kleiner vorkam als zuvor habe ich das Personal gefragt ob das stimmen kann, als Antwort bekam ich dann ich bin vll einfach nur fetter geworden. It's always wonderful to be here. Always in a good mood, always courteous, always on the ball, and never intrusive. Just a relaxed shop. Food is really good and nicely served. Everything is freshly prepared to your liking, you choose a drink and find a seat. Your food will arrive as soon as it's ready. It gets pretty crowded at peak times, but sitting down is never an issue.

Since it changed from a full-service restaurant to a self-service restaurant, it is no longer recommended. The food is average at best, the prices are way too high and the service is poor. It's very uncomfortable now, the tables are dirty and in winter it's poorly heated so you have to sit with a jacket on. A pity. Before Corona it was cozy and had more choice and I was there more often. Only twice in 2023 and never again in the future.

Nachtrag: Seit 2018 waren wir 43!! Mal in dem Hot Tacos Fürther Str. Die Chili Burritos sind mega und absolut zu empfehlen! I guess out of all the places i went to in Nürnberg - this is one of my favourites. Ate a Quesadilla, boyfriend had a burrito, and we both were happy (well, at least our stomachs)! Everything is suuper delicious and a huge thanks to a Team working there- These guys are super friendly, wuhuhu. The food doesn't take a long time to get ready. I wouldn't say that I was full after one quesadilla but you can always buy a second one, hahah! Atmosphere- awesome. Gonna come back soon!

I liked the quesadillas with pineapple salsa and the homemade strawberry and mint lemonade. It is cheap although the portions are not very large.

Incomprehensible! Food and location not exceptional, but good 👍 Service incredibly bad, but only the colleague who doesn't have to go to the hairdresser. When I had to think about it for a moment while paying for my quesadillas, the guy in question turned away, rolled his eyes and said: "My face dude" 🫣 Then shouted at his colleague that he should collect because he took the order. Mind you, the shop wasn't full, just one table occupied and one guest waiting. When I asked if he meant me when he said that, I didn't get an answer. Paid for my things and left but won't be going back. Of course there were no tips. Worse still, tell everyone without exception about what happened to me and many have experienced the same thing. If you don't have a problem with being yelled at by a choleric person and want average to good Mexican fast food, this is the place for you.

To bardziej bar. Zamawiasz przy barze i płacisz później też. Pół samoobsługa - napoje w lodówce, sztućce, szklanki na barze. Przynoszą tylko zamówione dania. Jedzenie smaczne choć wszystko zdominowała kolendra i nie za bardzo można było wyczuć różne smaki.

Immer schon in der Innenstadt zu Mittag bei Hot Tacos gegessen, jetzt auch mal in der Fürther Str. für die Mittagspause mit den Kollegen bestellt und abgeholt. Trotz der kurzfristigen großen Bestellung wurde alles sorgfältig und pünktlich vorbereitet. Sehr freundlich gewesen und sogar geholfen, die Bestellung zum Auto zu tragen. Fand ich richtig toll. Das Essen war und ist sehr lecker und Preis-Leisting finde ich vollkommen in Ordnung. Jederzeit wieder!

Superleckere Tacos und Burritos. Und nettes Personal. Auch immer gutes, fränkisches Bier und Club-Mate als Getränk ist auch am Start. I love it there. Zusammen mit der original mexikanischen scharfen Sauce, die immer auf dem Tisch steht ein perfektes Essen für mich.

Leckeres Essen, aber Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht, weil Selbstbedienung. 12€ für 3 Tacos, 3,50€ für Nachos und über 4€ für eine Limonade. Zudem habe ich keine Ausschilderung der Getränkepreise entdeckt. Als ich beim Bestellen sagte, ich würde gern das Angebot der 3 Tacos für 11€ nehmen (davon sind Pute und Chili immer im Preis enthalten, alle anderen Sorten kosten 1-3€ Aufpreis) wurde ich in meiner Bestellung unterbrochen, das sei kein Angebot. Kunden unterbrechen und lässig korrigieren ist uncool. Was ihr anbietet, ist ein Angebot. 😂

Schmeckt aber zu teuer: 26 Euro für Beef Burrito und Beef Quesadilla.

Es war echt lecker, wir waren zum Mittagessen dort. Bestellung war unkompliziert, obwohl wir zum ersten mal da waren.

Ich habe vor Kurzem den mexikanischen Imbiss Hot Tacos in Nürnberg besucht und war restlos begeistert! Das Essen war einfach fantastisch und hat meine Geschmacksknospen zum Tanzen gebracht. Die Auswahl an Tacos war groß und ich konnte mich kaum entscheiden, welche Sorte ich probieren sollte. Jeder Bissen war ein Geschmackserlebnis, von den zarten Fleischfüllungen bis hin zu den frischen Gemüsezutaten und den würzigen Saucen. Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen und der Preis absolut angemessen. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie nahmen sich die Zeit, um meine Fragen zu beantworten und gaben mir sogar Empfehlungen für meine Auswahl. Die Atmosphäre im Imbiss war lebhaft und einladend, und ich fühlte mich sofort wohl. Die Sauberkeit im Restaurant war tadellos, und die Wartezeit auf mein Essen war kurz, obwohl der Laden gut besucht war. Ich schätze die Effizienz des Teams. Insgesamt war mein Besuch bei Hot Tacos ein absolutes Highlight. Wenn Sie nach authentischer mexikanischer Küche in Nürnberg suchen, dann ist dies der richtige Ort für Sie! Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen und weitere köstliche Tacos zu genießen.

Ich fand es sehr chillig und angenehm in dem kleinen Restaurant. Man muss sich hier etwas auf den eher hippen und jungen Stil einstellen, aber ich finde das durchaus gut. Bestellt wird an der Theke, man gönnt sich ein Getränk aus dem Kühlschrank und pflanzt sich entspannt an einen Tisch bis die leckeren Tacos kommen. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit diesen und auch die Dips sind echt gut. Das Personal ist respektvoll und nett. Kartenzahlung möglich. Insgesamt ein kleiner, cooler Taco Ausflug. Gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sowohl im schönen Lokal als auch to-go. Der Service ist freundlich und schnell und die Preise finde ich für die Qualität fair. Das Lokal ist auch mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln einfach zu erreichen 😁

Netter Laden, entspannte Leute und man kann schön draußen sitzen. Karte ist überschaubar aber alles ist soweit sehr lecker. Das die Preise zuletzt etwas angezogen haben - geschenkt. Leider kann man sich die Nachos inzwischen fast sparen, die Portion ist derart klein da passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr wirklich. Kommen aber trotzdem gerne her.

We had gone for dinner (for two people) in person and the service, food, portions were ok. A simple and informal ambience had the appeal of a hole in the wall sort of a place. I thought of recommending the place to my friends and coworkers because of the food quality. Alas, when we ordered a takeout with five of my colleagues for lunch (i.e., a big enough order), we did not have a good experience. While the food was ready to pick up on time, the portions were miniscule. Worse, they had mislabeled - swapped the labels of the beef and vegetarian burrito. The labels were written on the packaging, not just stickers. So, it was a mistake and not an accidental swapping because stickers came off. Unfortunately , when I called the restaurant immediately afterwards, we were told they were busy with other orders and can't discuss the issue now. I - as a vegetarian had accidentally bitten into the beef burrito. While I'm not a religious person or a religious vegetarian by principle, I could see how it might have hurt the sentiments of those who are, especially given the response on the phone. I'm not going back again or recommending the place again to anyone after losing face with my colleagues.

Sehr lecker! 🌮😍 Kleines einfaches Restaurant. Man bestellt an der Theke und stellt sich sein Gericht selber zusammen. Grundkomponente und dann der Inhalt. Dann nimmt man Platz, holt sich noch etwas zu trinken, und schaut bei der Zubereitung zu. Das Gericht wird an den Tisch gebracht und gezahlt an der Theke.

Wir haben an einem Freitagabend direkt über die Webseite des Restaurants zwei Gerichte plus Beilage bestellt und auch gleich online bezahlt. Laut Angabe auf der Webseite können Online-Bestellungen nach 15 Minuten abgeholt werden. Nachdem unsere Bestellung im Status "Warten auf Bestätigung" verblieb, sind wir nach einer knappen halben Stunde im Laden eingetroffen. Dieser war um diese Uhrzeit (ca. 19:30 Uhr) völlig überlaufen. Als ich die Bestellung abholen wollte, wurde erstmal im Tablet recherchiert. Unsere Bestellung wurde schließlich gefunden, allerdings bis dahin scheinbar völlig ignoriert. Eine Entschuldigung dafür erfolgte nicht, obwohl es ja offensichtlich ein Fehler des Personals war. Zugegeben erfolgte die Zubereitung vor Ort dann einigermaßen zügig. Aber hätte ich das vorher gewusst, wäre ich entweder direkt in den Laden gekommen und hätte vor Ort bestellt und bezahlt oder ich hätte woanders bestellt. Ich hoffe, dass es zu einer anderen Uhrzeit oder anderen Tagen besser läuft und wir mit unserer Online-Bestellung nur Pech hatten, da genau zu diesem Zeitpunkt so viel Betrieb war. Das Essen war übrigens gar nicht schlecht. Schmeckt nicht klassisch wie bei anderen Mexikanern, aber trotzdem sehr lecker und spannend und es wirkte alles frisch. Preise sind für die Portion nicht günstig aber angemessen. Wäre es pünktlich zubereitet gewesen, wäre unser Urteil auch insgesamt gut ausgefallen.

War neulich mit ein paar Freunden hier für ein entspanntes, schnelles Mittagessen. Ich war mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden. Mein Burrito war sehr lecker. Auch die anderen waren mit ihren vegetarischen Varianten zufrieden. Das Personal war freundlich und unser Essen wurde uns relativ zügig an unseren Tisch gebracht.

Für 3 Tacos und eine kleine Limonade 16,80 Euro. Sollte der Preis gestimmt haben, was ich nicht glaube, stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gar nicht. Wollen anscheinend keine Kunden gewinnen. Ich war das erste und letzte Mal da! Hab vorher nicht geschaut, wie teuer alles ist. Es lag auch nichts aus. Aber die Verantwortung liegt auch nicht beim Kunden! Nicht umsonst sind die Bewertungen so schlecht.

Spend 6 years in San Diego and love Baja Mexican food. This was the closest to the real thing. Absolut delicious and fresh… corn tortillas are the bomb. I ordered online and paid via PayPal , pick up was fast and easy. Super friendly staff and amazing tortillas! We will be back ( next time with some cash for a tip!!) Cheers for a yummy dinner!

Das Personal scheint sehr überfordert zu sein und verhält sich enorm unfreundlich und ruppig der Kundschaft gegenüber. Wir haben Ewigkeiten auf das Essen gewartet und mussten locker 10 Minuten diskutieren um keinen Koriander auf den Tacos zu haben. Begründet wurde dies mit "es ist kein mexikanisches essen mehr". Sehr schade.. 2 Sterne, da das Essen trotz alledem gut geschmeckt hat. Kommen werden wir aber nicht mehr.

I lived in California for several years and know how a Burrito should taste! This Burrito tastes nothing like a Burrito should, it looks like one but misses the idea of a Burrito on several items: Spices, Meat preparation, Wrap, Sauces etc. But that is not the key issues. The staff is missing customer centricity which results in being unfriendly, blaming customers for being not clear enough. One guy working there yelled at customers for no reason because he felt that they should have been clearer with their order. The guys working there were verbally fighting over trivial stuff. Do not recommend going there since fake Mexican food made in a very German way, poor customer experience and this all for 8€ Burrito and 4€ Drink.

I guess I just need to learn to expect this, but Germans love to dump sugar or sweet flavors into savory foods. They think it "enhances" the taste. Well, it does make food that shouldn't be sweet taste like candy, but I don't consider that a positive enhancement. Unfortunately this place had the same idea. I tried some of the refried beans and salsa and I swear that they had dumped Sprite or something in it. Even my burrito with meat was sweet! Ugh, I just wanted to enjoy some savory Mexican-inspired food (I know better than to expect authentic in Germany). Plus the chips looked like they were straight out of the bag. It just didn't do it for me.

Really enjoyed my meal here. Just asked for the servers pick of 5 best soft tacos and he dressed them and brought them over freshly made. All packing loads of flavour. Topped off with lashings of hot sauce. Decor dead trendy, nice environment to sit in and bustling atmosphere. Had 2 bottles of Corona and a Caramel Creme desert for 20 euros. Bargain. I will return.

Auf der Homepage steht: Quesadilla+Füllung+Dip 6,00€, extra Dip 0,50€ Wir bestellten zum Abholen: 2x Quesadilla mit Sour Cream und extra Guacamole = 2x 6,50€ = 13€ Beim Abholen lagen die fertigen Quesadillas auf einem Holzbrett und warteten auf das Einpacken (wirklich wärmer werden sie dadurch natürlich nicht). Ich musste die Verkäuferin selber darauf hinweisen, dass sie die beiden Quesadillas bitte beschriftet, da ich nicht erst den Quesadilla meines Kollegen anknabbern will, um zu schauen ob es meiner mit Putenfüllung ist. Nachdem die Verkäuferin Probleme mit der Kasse hatte, kam ihr Kollege (vermutlich der Chef) und wollte schließlich 16 € von mir. Ich war verwundert und habe darauf hingewiesen, dass auf der Homepage etwas anderes steht. "Hier auf der Karte steht Guacamole kostet IMMER 2€ extra. Wie deutlicher soll ich es denn noch hinschreiben?" Nach dieser sehr unfreundlichen Art hätte ich am liebsten die Quesadillas gleich da gelassen, hätte mein Kollege nicht so einen Hunger gehabt. Ebenso steht auf der Homepage: "Wenn du bis 11 Uhr vorbestellst, bekommst du von uns eine Portion Nachos mit Dip geschenkt!" Ich habe nachgefragt und die Antwort war erneut patzig, dass es das schon seit fast einem Jahr nicht mehr gibt... Ganz ehrlich, dann ändert doch eure Homepage statt mich anzupampen! Das ist Kunden anlocken und täuschen mit falschen Preisen! Professionalität geht anders. Essen war gut, aber Freundlichkeit und Service sind unter aller Sau!!!

Das Hot Tacos ist ein lockerer Laden mit feuriger mexikanischer Küche. Viele Sitzmöglichkeiten innen und außen. Wir hatten Burritos mit Rind, die schön scharf waren. Sehr lecker! Man kann bei der Zubereitung zuschauen und aus verschiedenen Zutaten auswählen. Man muss aber zunächst mit der etwas unübersichtlichen Karte zurecht kommen. Der Laden war am Abend auf jeden Fall gut besucht. Der Service kann allerdings sicherlich noch verbessert werden. Auch musste ich am Ende etwas nachhelfen, dass mir die korrekte Summe an Wechselgeld rausgegeben wurde.

Mein bisher beeindruckendstes Texmex-Erlebnis: Der Burrito mit Rind und Jalapenos und Chipotle-Dip schmeckt gleichermaßen feurig, lecker, zart, exotisch, verführerisch. Die mexikanische Grapefruit-Limo und die mit Käse überbackenen Nachos passen dazu perfekt. Essen ist sehr schnell fertig, Personal sehr freundlich. Preislich bodenständig. Charmante Lage mit schönem Außenbereich im Herzen von GoHo.Kein Parkplatz.

We are vegetarians so we had to look a little harder to find meals in the land of Brats and Bier. The hotel highly recommended Hot Tacos and it was crowded. Problem was the menu had no items without meat. Looked great.
