Lava in Saarlouis

After I tried in vain to get a table for three people at short notice in January, I reserved one for our wedding anniversary in April (we and our son). What can I say? We were all more than thrilled. First of all, we were informed in detail about the hygiene rules (because of the raw meat) and how everything works. The daily special was wild boar. We were there for 2.5 hours. We ate so well and had a wonderful evening. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert as we were all already so full. When something ran low, we were asked if we would like more. Very attentive staff. We will definitely come again, but with more people.

A great concept with grills right at the table. Plus very good meat and terrific (!) spare ribs! A must if you want a cozy evening with good food.

Family-run restaurant. Mother and son rock the place; both are incredibly friendly and very nice! The father cooks, and the food is incredibly delicious! The ribs are absolutely fantastic! Every dish comes with a generous baguette, three different dips, and two salads! We'll be back!

Even as a vegetarian, the barbecue event is really fun and I think it tastes delicious. The food was always replenished quickly, and we didn't lack anything. The atmosphere is great, and we felt very comfortable. For dessert, we had a delicious homemade brownie.

Not cheap...but worth the money. Anyone who likes meat is well served here...

Delicious meat dishes, with side dishes to order (as many as you want) and for dessert we had a (home-baked) brownie. We didn't grill at the table this time, but will do so next time. We will definitely come back.

We sat right in front of the entrance gate, in January...it gets cold there. Despite the curtain! The food and the whole team at Lava are great! We will definitely go there again! 👍🏻

The ambience matches the concept, every table has its lava grill with an extractor hood. The meat is of very good quality, the vegetables are fresh and crunchy. The menu offers something to suit every palate. The restaurant is family run. The owners are always in contact with their guests which gives the whole thing a personal touch. Guests' wishes are taken into account so that you feel completely comfortable here. This is the second time we have been there and we will definitely come back.

5/5 stars through and through. The food was very good and in large portions. The service was also top. You could tell that it was a family restaurant. Very familiar. Heaven for every meat lover.

A visit that was worth it. Unique concept.. Great quality & selection.. Suitable ambience.. Approachable service.. Particularly noteworthy are the spare ribs and many little extras that are homemade with love and understanding. All in all a perfect evening, not exactly cheap - but quality + quantity has its price! So more than justified! :) We will definitely come back with a smile :)

6 of us ate there. I found the atmosphere very nice, the boss and the staff were very nice. I was very disappointed with the food... Except for the pork, I didn't like the meat, and I don't think there was enough choice of vegetables. What I also found very unfortunate was that we only got our fries 🍟 when we were almost finished eating. Thanks to the friendliness of the boss, a lot of things were ironed out but there won't be a second time

Food was very tasty and everything was homemade. We have some intolerances that could be taken into account without any problems. Service is very friendly and fond of children.

I love it! It wasn't our first time here, but "back then" there was still self-service meat. Anyone who knows their fellow human beings knows what that means. This time there was a selection of meat where you could also state your preferences. Over 400g of meat is one word. It gets even better if you go there with people who aren't crazy about meat. Because the other dishes all contain a lot of meat and are quite large. There's still something to try... The boss gave very good advice, was extremely friendly and the orders came quickly and correctly. Of course you also have to say something about the prices. It's not cheap, but considering the amount of meat and its quality, I think the pricing is quite reasonable. The tables are spread out quite widely so that you can have a conversation without disturbing neighbors or having to overhear their conversations It was a successful evening, thank you!

We received a very warm welcome. Our little four-legged friend got an extra portion of meat. The meat was super tasty and the kangaroo is highly recommended. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back

Our visit had been planned for a long time, and the anticipation was more than worth it! During our stay here we really wanted to try the restaurant and it exceeded all our expectations. The spareribs were simply sensational. Tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned, a real culinary delight! Every bite was a delight and the portion was more than sufficient. Even what we took with us still tasted surprisingly good when cold! The cocktails were also really tasty. Whether classic or creatively mixed, there is something for everyone. The perfect balance of taste and sophistication, we loved it. The service also deserves high praise. The team was incredibly friendly, accommodating and extremely quick despite the restaurant being at full capacity. You can immediately feel that hospitality is lived here. Overall, a completely successful experience! If we're in the area again, you'll be at the top of our list. A must for everyone who appreciates good food, delicious drinks and good service. Grilling at the table is a lot of fun and cozy. The meat is well seasoned and there are many different delicious varieties. The service was very nice and attentive. In my opinion, value for money is also right for what you get :-)

We had the 'grilling without limits' once with meat and once in the veggie version. Both were very tasty. Service is top and very nice. The price is upscale but absolutely appropriate for what is on offer.

It was very nice here. The food was top and the staff and service were very good. It's a shame that the smell from the toilet comes up, which then mixes with the smell of the food. You have to make sure that the doors at the bottom are closed. The ladies room was open all evening.

Small, nice restaurant with a somewhat hidden entrance. Great service, super attentive. Had all you can eat with grilling at the table. A pure experience when you only have one hand available😅 but you still managed to do everything. Filled with side dishes and meat. No criticism, but as an aside, you should carefully consider whether you should move on after eating because you can't get rid of the grill smell from your clothes that well. 🤔

Meine Frau und ich waren heute dort um unser 13. Hochzeit Tag als verliebte zu verbringen. Ich bin ein leidenschaftlicher esser, und ich habe dort "barbecue all you kan eat" genommen. Lamm Rind Känguru Pute Schwein Das Fleisch kann man dann auf ein Spieß stecken und am Tisch nach Geschmack grillen, bei Fragen über gar Punkte wir sehr freundlich informiert. Gutes und frisches Gemüse wird passend dazu serviert. Das Fleisch war mehr als köstlich, ich habe noch nie so guten Lamm Fleisch gegessen. Dazu gab es salate, einen sehr interessanter und leckeren kidney bonnen salate ich konnte nich genug davon bekommen Ich kann diesen lokal nur weiterempfehlen

Sehr leckeres Essen, von dem garantiert jeder satt wird. Das tolle ist die To-Go-Box, in die man das Essen packen und mitnehmen kann, wenn man es nicht schafft.

Eines der besten Restaurants wo ich seit langen war. Nicht abschrecken lassen von den Preisen denn was Mann für das Geld bekommt ist es fast zu günstig. Der Service ist hervorragend man fühlt sich aufgehoben das ist halt ein Familienbetrieb jederzeit würden wir wieder kommen. Einfach toll das es noch so was gibt.

Heute das erste mal mit meinem Vater dort gewesen. Kleiner gemütlicher Laden mit wundervollen freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Wir wurden super gut bedient. Die Portionen sind der Hammer. Das Essen war fantastisch. Preis/Leistung stimmt absolut überein. Nächstes mal komme ich nur für den Dessert 😂. Der hat nach der Hauptspeise nämlich nicht mehr reingepasst 😂. Das einzige was mir leider erst im Nachhinein aufgefallen ist, ist dass der Kellner mir mein Rückgeld falsch rausgegeben hat... Aus diesem Grund 1 Stern Abzug beim Service.

Es ist möglich dort selbst zu grillen . Man hat aber auch die Möglichkeit a la carte zu bestellen. 👌

Nach einem Ausflug nach Saarlouis spontan abend pünktlich zur Öffnung eingekehrt. Tisch für 2 Erwachsene, ein Kleinkikd und ein Hund war überhaupt kein Problem. Nach glaubhaften Bericht gibt es wohl Hunde die mit dem Geräusch der Gasbrenner in den Grillstationen wohl Probleme bis Panik bekommen. Für unseren Schäferhund kein Problem. Daher kamen wir in den Genuss von Super leckeren Essen, sehr freundlichem und aufmerksamen Personal. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ist ein kleiner Geheimtipp für Grill Liebhaber und die Mal was neues ausprobieren wollen. Das Personal erklärt alles Schritt für Schritt und wenn man fragen hat sind sie für einen da. Ich habe da gegessen und war richtig begeistert und das Ambiente passt wie die Faust aufs Auge Ich und meine Freunde waren richtig begeistert von der manade. Eis super geheim Tipp man muss ein wenig suchen es ist leider in einer Seitenstraße. Danke für den super leckeren Abend Lava.

Wir kommen sicher mal wieder. Das Essen war Tip Top, am Grill eigens grillen fürs Ambiente auch gut. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Soweit alles sehr gut und empfehlenswert, preislich aber in der höheren Kategorie.

Ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Fleisch von makelloser Qualität und der Service ist sehr freundlich und erklärt für Neulingen gerne wie das funktioniert. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Lokal.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wir hatten AYCE Grill: eine große Fleischplatte mit 4 Sorten Fleisch (auf den Exoten haben wir verzichtet), Lyoner, Dörrfleisch, Gemüse, Pommes, Nudelsalat, grüner Salat, Pommes, Dips, Kräuterbutter, Baguette… alles echt lecker und in mehr als nur ausreichender Menge. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Einziger Minuspunkt: durch den Abzug über dem Grill war es recht laut (dafür riecht man hinterher nicht nach Grillfleisch). Fazit: lecker, man wird mehr als nur satt und es ist ein tolles Erlebnis, das Essen selbst zu grillen. 5 von 5 Sternen, absolut empfehlenswert und wir werden mit Sicherheit gerne wieder kommen.

Das Essen war Spitzenklasse. Lecker und auch für sog. große Jungs und Mädels ausreichend. Sehr ausreichend. Nette Bedienung und nette Chefin. Man merkt das der Kunde König ist. Weiter so.

Die Geschäftsidee ist mega cool. Leider muss ich sagen, dass der Kellner sehr unsympathisch war. Zur Qualität der Speisen: Das Fleisch war geradeso ok Nuddelsalat ungenießbar Grüner Salat hat uns nicht geschmeckt Pommes in altem Fett zubereitet. Wir hatten reserviert , kamen mit Verspätung und mit mehr Leuten : alles kein Problem ! Wir wurden sehr höflich bedient und die Chefin war besonders nett zu unserm Sohn : er bekam sofort Pommes und am Ende sogar ein Eis, als er etwas quengelig wurde. Das Fleisch vom All you can eat ist lecker , die Pommes auch - dazu bekommt man auch Gemüse . Ein sehr nette Abend 😊 danke !

Von Anfang bis Ende perfekt! Die Reservierung wurde binnen Minuten bestätigt. -> Perfekt Der Empfang und die Bedienung am Tisch waren unfassbar herzlich. Wir haben uns gleich sehr Wohl gefühlt. Auch haben wir noch nie erlebt das bei Änderungen an einem Gericht auf der Speisekarte der Koch kommt und nachfragt ob er statt dessen was anderes in das Essen machen kann. -> Perfekt Die Portionen waren groß, Salat und Pommes hätten wir nachbestellen können -> Perfekt Preislich lag das ganze sehr gut im Rahmen.-> Perfekt Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon!

Waren zu Buffetzeiten bereits mehrmals sehr zufrieden mit allem. Service war nicht OK, bekamen ungefragt eine Feischauswahl pro Person. Das Lammfleisch konnte mann nicht essen, beim Service gemeldet, Antwort "ich sage dem Chef" keine weitere Reaktion seitens des Service. (Das Fleisch ging auf 5 Auswahlplatten zurück!) Salatauswahl ein grüner Salat und ein Krautsalalat (beider sehr sauer angemacht). Beim Buffet konnte man selbst wählen was man möchte. Wir verstehen absolut das man wegen der Corona Situation etwas am Konzept ändern musste. Leider ist das hier nicht gelungen und das bei einem Preis von gesamt 106 € für 3 Personen. Ich finde da kann man Qualität erwarten. Sehr schade aber von unserem Tisch 5 Kunden verloren.

Das Restaurant ist sehr urig. Die Preis-Leistungsverhältnis es sind sehr gut. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich hilfsbereit und aufmerksam.
