My first visit, but not my last. Food, service, ambiance everything was very satisfactory.

Everything was perfect. Good food, very friendly service.

Unfortunately, the sushi didn't taste quite fresh, which was a shame. However, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The employee with the cap was especially great – definitely 5 stars for service.

Excellent sushi. By far the best I've ever eaten. Everything was simply perfect. I'm usually very critical when it comes to restaurants, but there's absolutely nothing to complain about here. From the welcome to the farewell, everything was perfect. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It could perhaps have been a bit warmer in the restaurant. But otherwise, everything was excellent.

The sushi was okay. Nothing extraordinary... but okay. Sushi for two people for €55... well! The service was excellent! The atmosphere was very pleasant. There was enough space between the tables to easily have a conversation.

Four stars for the very friendly staff. Our expectations were high and weren't met. The sushi was average and the cream soup bland. Visually appealing, but some of the combinations weren't well-balanced. The prices were steep for what you get. The restaurant is large and spread over two floors. Unfortunately, it was cold (drafty) and uncomfortable on the benches.

The nigiri rice wasn't well prepared, the fish lacked flavor, and the fusion sushi wasn't particularly good. The only positive point was the chicken skewers. The gyoza were probably frozen, had no chicken flavor, and were only lukewarm. The wait was quite long, even though the restaurant wasn't full. I wouldn't recommend it.

If you love authentic sushi, you can't go wrong with Edo Sushi. Highly recommended, in my opinion!👌

The two of us went to Edo Sushi on September 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM and immediately felt at home. Sushi and hot dishes, plus a small appetizer, the main course, and three drinks – a total of €56, a completely fair price. The menu is just right, and the service team is so warm and friendly – ​​you rarely experience that! 😊 The ambiance inside is bright, open, and inviting. The street outside is a bit noisy, but inside you can enjoy a relaxed evening. Just a stone's throw from us – we'll definitely be back!

We were in Saarlouis in December and visited Edo Sushi – an absolutely outstanding choice! The food was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and tasted amazing. We were particularly impressed by the wide variety of sushi options, served with great attention to detail. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. We can wholeheartedly recommend Edo Sushi – a true highlight for sushi lovers!

Unfortunately, the udon noodles were completely tasteless, as were the deep-fried sushi rolls with mango sauce. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't go back – especially considering the value for money. It's a shame. Compared to Huydo in Lisdorf, it's a world apart.

The food was very tasty. The selection is also diverse and everyone should find something, even if you don't feel like sushi. Unfortunately I have to complain about something about the service. The lady responsible for us was very nice and helpful and the food arrived quickly even after we ordered. However, nothing more was seen of her for a long time. In between, no one asked if we needed anything else. They were always quick to clear away, but if you still had everything, it was a little difficult to get something again. Won't stop me from going again, if you have the information you can stock up straight away or order straight away when clearing away.

This sushi restaurant is situated at the corner of the Main Street (Mezterstraße) just outside Saarlouis in the direction of Picard. Inside the restaurant is nicely decorated. We sat outside as it was a summer day. The restaurant was selected as the most favourite sushi restaurant in West of Germany. Although it was good but I find the sushis loaded with too much thick sauce and fried noodle toppings that distract the natural taste of sushis. The fried duck curry has a good portion of quality meat, though the curry is again thickened by the starch...adopted for the German taste. So, either one likes it thickened or more authentic without.

I was at Edo today (July 31, 23) with two friends and we thought it was good! The staff was very friendly with us and even said goodbye to us at the end at the end of the shift, which we found very thoughtful. 👍🏽 The food was delicious and very nicely prepared and the ambience is great, especially in Indoors! In fact, you could offer a little more variation on the menu, so that you can perhaps order not only 8 or 6 of the more unusual types of sushi, but perhaps 2 or 4 of each type, so that you can try things out a bit is still in a suitable price segment. I personally would like that and it's my only criticism. My soup and dessert were also successful. I think it's a bit unfair that some people give a 1-star rating because the staff wasn't that well-coordinated in the beginning. That may justify deducting a star, but it's not the worst rating you can give. That is also irrelevant! I think a restaurant should also have opportunities for development after you have expressed your criticism and here you deal with the criticism constructively and try to respond to it. So we will come again! 😊

After a short wait, the food and drinks were very tasty - you could taste the fresh ingredients. A very attentive, but not intrusive, and friendly service as well as the option to pay by card rounded off a very successful evening. Everything was great, I would love to come back! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Saarlouis I've been to so far - keep it up!

In 2023, Edo Sushi received the award of the most popular sushi restaurant in western Germany from the gourmet and wine magazine Falstaff. The sushi is just average for my taste. Makis sometimes contain a little too much sushi rice. The crunchy rolls, on the other hand, were not crispy, too fatty and salty and unfortunately didn't taste good. The service was friendly, but slightly disorganized due to the full table occupancy.

The best sushi I've had so far. On the recommendation of my friends, we ate there for women's carnival. It was a celebration for me. I'm not usually into fancy sushi, but Edo's convinced me. I had saffron sushi with flamed salmon as a topping and green asparagus in the middle. I also had regular nigiri and maki. Everything was great. My friend had sushi with teriyaki kiwi sauce and a crunchy topping. That was really crazy! Delicious. The sushi was changed slightly at the request of my other friend. Was also delicious. The cocktails were great, as were iced tea and tea. The chocolate cake with a liquid center was also said to be very good. I only had peppermint tea, but it was garnished with fresh peppermint. The price could also be shown behind. The food there isn't cheap, but everything is of high quality. For people who like to eat a little more, you should pack enough money. Therefore, due to the great taste and quality, the price for the best sushi in the southwest is justified. The atmosphere is beautifully modern and relaxed. Only the parking situation was a bit unpleasant, as you couldn't see where you could park in the evening and everything was quite busy. The service was also great. Good evening dear team, My husband took me to Edo Sushi Restaurant for Valentine's Day. It was simply breathtaking. Everything was right, the food was a dream and the ambience was very nice. A man with a hair band served us. We have never been served so politely, attentively, kindly and simply very personably. It's hard to find someone who enjoys his work and is so motivated as a waiter these days. My tip is 100% worth giving to the waiter with the headband!!! Edo Sushi is simply recommended. If the employee with the headband is there that day (hopefully) it will be even better. He does his job really professionally and you feel like you're in a 5 star posh restaurant. Starting with the waiting time until the order was taken and the drinks were served to the table, this time was unacceptable. The second drink order also took a long time to arrive, so we initially stopped eating. The service staff was visibly trying, but after a while they gave up with a smile. On an evening like this, when the guests are full, there needs to be more staff present. It's difficult to enjoy an evening like this when you constantly have to wait for things. The other guests were also more than annoyed by this situation. This wasn't our first visit to you, so we don't know this "mess". Sorry

The best sushi ever, absolutely recommended

Dieses Restaurant ist einfach spitze. Etwas Besonderes! Die Speisen ein Traum. Der Service ausgezeichnet. Wir fahren gern eine halbe Stunde, um solches Sushi zu genießen.

In my opinion the best sushi shop in the area. Outside the city but worth every meter. There is also sushi here that you can't find everywhere. My highlight are the ones coated with beef. What I think is great is that there is also enough choice for “non-sushi eaters”. There is also a card for kids. Very sympathic:) The service is going really well now. And if you just pick up, you hardly have to wait at all and even if you wait a short time, you can get a homemade iced tea. So far we have always had a delicious surprise in the bag. We always enjoy coming back and are happy to pay a little more there.

Hauptgericht sind eine Wucht gewesen wo wir angekommen sind hat es sehr geregnet u. es war auch kalt, so das wir erwartet hätten das die Heizung an gewesen wäre......das war leider nicht so, so das es nicht ganz so gemütlich war......schade, schade
