After a long time, we were once again guests at the weekend with several people at Davy's Pinseria, which is located in the historic casemates of Saarlouis and offers its guests an absolutely great ambience in which to dine and relax thanks to the building itself and the design of the interior. In addition to various pins, a type of oval pizza made from special dough, the menu also offers a manageable selection of starters, pasta dishes and salads. Many of the pins contain special and tasty toppings that are very rare to find in other restaurants that offer pins. During our visit these days we tested several pins and two pasta dishes, and all the dishes we received really tasted delicious. The pinsen dough has a very delicate taste of its own, some of the special toppings harmonize perfectly with each other and offer guests a great, juicy taste experience overall. The two pasta dishes were also really delicious and recommended. We were also completely impressed by the quality of the ingredients used in our dishes. We think that the pins and pasta dishes, each with a good portion size, are better here in all criteria than in a large number of comparable restaurants. We have also ordered various take-away dishes several times over the years and have never been disappointed here. The staff has always been very friendly and quick, so you can definitely spend a nice evening in this great location. We can definitely recommend this restaurant as a good alternative to the classic pizzeria, and we will be visiting here again soon.

We have been to the Pinseria several times now. So far everything has been great. But yesterday we noticed that the Pinsa's had lost size. What I want to say is that the Pinsa class was tasty, but it was no longer as big as previous visits. I hope it was just a blip yesterday. It would be a shame.

The three of us came on a Friday evening without registering. There was a lot going on, a lot of activity. Nevertheless, the boss and his great employees made sure that we got a table after a short wait, thank you very much. The food would be great, everything would be great. We'd love to come back. 👍

I was at the Zweibrücken outlet and ate a Pinsa there - unfortunately that was a big mistake. The pinsa didn't taste good at all, but was more reminiscent of a cheap frozen pizza. It was way too greasy, so the fat literally floated on it. To make matters worse, I had severe stomach cramps afterwards and felt bad for the rest of the day. I definitely won't eat there again and can't recommend it to anyone. What a pity about the money and the appetite!

Many people now want to make Pinsa - but only one person can actually do it: Davy's Pinsa! We've been coming back since it opened and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere inside and outside has a really great atmosphere. Always super tasty, food & drinks of high quality. We were also surprised at Ultra's newest food truck: the Pinsa was really great! Zero compromises that you would expect when you get something out of the oven on “a car like that”. Very clear food recommendation!

Very tasty food and an impressively good service. Tip: The house wine is very good, we had red and rosé. Why ambience only 3 stars? It is and remains system catering and (albeit at a high level) mass processing. The beautiful interior design could only partially counteract the "David Guetta-like background music" and the hustle and bustle like in a train station hall. And even if individual employees wore band shirts, in the end they paid just under €70 for two small (but filling) pizzas [sorry... Pinsen]. We will still come back, thanks to the already mentioned top service and the deliciousness 😉❤️

Food not particularly good and boring. Very nice and attentive service. The casemates are a nice place, but the restaurant itself is nothing special.

Great location! Very tastefully furnished, cozy, high quality and always with wonderful accents of Italy. The service team is on point! Fast, always friendly and attentive. Regarding the dishes, it should be said that the Pinsa's are very well prepared; the base is cross, the topping is very aromatic and incredibly tasty. I'm totally thrilled! The espresso is served in a hot cup👍, the cremà is great and the espresso tastes very good - prepared absolutely professionally. I only know that from Italy. The tiramisu for dessert was the icing on the cake!

The food was mixed. The savory pinsa was great, but the sweet one was unfortunately a total letdown. I thought it was a shame that many vegetarian pinsas had parmesan on them. We specifically asked whether it was made with animal rennet, which was confirmed. So unfortunately not vegetarian. The service at our station was catastrophic. We only had one drink during our entire visit. & not because we didn't want a second one. But the homemade lemonade was delicious. At the beginning we had to wait quite a long time for the card. The other nice waitresses at least made up for the poor service in our area. It's really very comfortable to sit outside.

Mega delicious and easy to digest, great and creative Pinsa variations, especially the vegan/vegetarian ones, always a pleasure. Almost a reason to move to Saarlouis ;-)

My wife's pinsa was very tasty, but salad with chicken breast was a bit disappointing for the price. You had to look for a small cocktail tomato, pine nuts or were they sunflower seeds and the chicken breast was so shredded and didn't look appetizing. Then there were 3 small melon balls and a radish in the salad. It didn't fill me up, but the honey/mustard dressing tasted good. I would also serve the salad on a different plate than apparently in a cereal bowl.

You can dine excellently in the vaulted ceilings of the casemates. New ideas with a good price-performance ratio.

Tasty, great ambience and good service.

We had dinner there in the evening and it was really, really good. The quality is good and you actually feel full. The staff is so nice, so nice that they wanted to let us go without paying 😂. When we pointed this out, I felt very sorry for the nice lady from shift management because she had to pay for her colleague's mistake. For the delay in paying and the inconvenience, everyone was given a very generous Averna with lemon. All in all a solid 4, without the error definitely 5 stars, we'll be happy to test again and maybe everything will work 100%.

Service: The service is really mixed. Some days you hardly have to wait, everything runs smoothly and the service is attentive. However, sometimes nothing works. Just today we had to wait over an hour for our food. The service wasn't particularly attentive. When the food didn't come after 45 minutes and the next tables already had food or even paid again, we made our presence known. Only then was our order processed. We really weren't in a good mood anymore and would have preferred to leave (if we hadn't been so hungry)... When the bill came, we weren't offered much in compensation. That was a bit of a shame. Eat: In terms of taste, the pinses we have had so far are all delicious (even if some are a bit overpriced). But the taste alone is not always enough - we probably won't go there again at night. Ambience: Sitting inside is really great! Outside, the whole thing could have been made a little nicer and more inviting.

Unfortunately it was a real shame to eat something here today. The order wasn't taken correctly so we waited for an hour until the waitress noticed that the order wasn't in the system. Apparently this was not an isolated case. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant today and will avoid it in the near future. If you're still thinking about a visit, you should plan a lot more time.

Der Service war KATASTROPHAL. Nachdem wir ueber 1h auf die Pinsa gewartet haben, kamen nur 3 von 4. Die fehlende Pinsa wurde gebracht als alle anderen bereits gegessen hatten nach 30min!!! Das Essen ist gut aber so man nicht mehr zu Davys Pinsa gehen.

Unfortunately, I got to know Pinseria when the restaurant was still in its early stages. Because - back then it was great. But then something happened to you, I can't say what exactly but from one day to the next it was different... haphazard, disorganized, strange... We were there some time ago with a group, it started with the reserved table not being available, then waited forever for drinks. When I write forever, I mean forever... Waiting almost 45 minutes for a beer, not very nice on a well-planned evening. The staff is overwhelmed, no proper planning. Well perhaps the circumstances that evening were unforeseen. I thought, give it a chance and go again, this time during the week, on Tuesdays, reserved for 5:30 p.m. and had the table for 2 hours. However, at 7:05 p.m. we had to leave our reserved table 25 minutes earlier because it had already been reserved and people were too early. Well, then you just ask the guests to leave first, what should you do with the rest of the time? As with MC.... Come quickly, eat and then goodbye. Unfortunately, this is the trend, even among many competitors in the genre. All I can say in my closing statement is - what a shame for what was once a great store. Maybe you'll pull yourself together and get back on track, because we used to enjoy coming to you. Sincerely, D.

We came yesterday from a Saar loop hike in wonderful spring weather and had a lot of steam!! Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to make an online reservation for 5 p.m. while on the road, so we were there at 4:30 p.m. When asked whether there might still be a table available outside for three people at 5 p.m., the nice young man immediately replied, "Of course, no problem. We just haven't added the outdoor seats to the online quota yet." So we were able to look forward to a shady spot, delicious, homemade lemonade and wonderfully smelling AND wonderfully tasting pinsa. The purest culinary delight! We had heard a lot of positive things beforehand and were simply overwhelmed. Sensationally fluffy dough, exceptionally topped. Service very attentive. In short: everything is highly recommended! We were definitely not there for the last time!

After being recommended by my sister-in-law, I spontaneously visited the restaurant with a friend. It is located in the casemates of Saarlouis and looks very cozy from the inside. After eating Pinsa for the first time, I don't want to eat pizza anymore. The dough was exceptionally good and the topping even more so. We were greeted and served by young and extremely friendly, but not intrusive, staff. It was a lovely eventful evening. And it wasn't the last time we were at Davi's Pinsa. Great, keep it up.👍🥰

The pinsa was excellent. The slightly higher price is justified by the excellent quality. The sweet pinsa wasn't quite my taste, but still ok. Unfortunately we had to wait over 1 hour for our food because it was forgotten. The service deserves a lot of respect here, as it generously compensated us for the waiting time. The only thing to really complain about is the house wine, which was not only expensive but also absolutely undrinkable. But apart from the wine it is highly recommended thanks to the great pinsa and customer focused service.

We've been there a few times now. The service is super nice and friendly, the menu has a very good selection and the food tastes really good. Price performance is right. However, you should reserve a table early as the restaurant is always busy. By the way, he is also very, very kind to children. We'd love to come back.

Bei der letzten Dienstreise kam es zum Besuch des italienischen Restaurant Davy's Pinsa! Diese Empfehlung die wir bekommen haben hat sich in Gänze bestätigt. Hinter den Mauern der ehemaligen Burgmauern/ Festungsanlage zeigt sich ein uriges tolles Restaurant mit eine WOW-Effekt welches man gesehen/ besucht haben muss. Die für mich etwas spezielles Karte (also die Gerüchte darauf) haben mich anfangs irritiert, aber das Ergebnis hat letzten Endes überzeugt. Super leckeres Essen das weder geschmacklich noch Preis/ Leistung hinten ansteht. Das Ambiente ist urgemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Personal war sehr kompetent und nett. Es kam trotz gut besuchten Restaurant nicht wirklich zu Wartezeiten in der Gruppe. Etwas fußkalt war es, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau 😀. Sollte Saarlouis noch einmal auf dem Plan stehen, werde ich bestimmt erneut dirt reservieren um einen weiteren schönen Abend bei gutem Essen und Gesellschaft zu genießen! Hier bin ich Gast, hier will ich sein 😃 Gerne gehen wir in die Kasematten und besuchen Davy‘s Pinsa. Hier agiert ein junges und dynamisches Team, das einen bei gutem Essen in tollem Ambiente ein kurzes Stück vom Glück serviert. Leckeres Essen, toller Service…so ist das fein. Und auch wenn mal etwas nicht ganz so in Ordnung ist, wird sich professionell und kundenorientiert schnell um eine Lösung bemüht, so dass am Ende des Besuchs einen das Stück Glück noch eine Weile begleitet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😋

Durchwachsen! Belag der Pinsa weitgehend kalt, warum? Bei Rucola verstehe ich das, beim Rest nicht. Bedienung eher zäh. Salatdressing schwach. Die Salatschüsseln komplett voll und zu klein, da fiel alles raus. Warum keine Messer, sondern stumpfe Pizza-Roller. Es war viel im Argen. Geschmack aber super.

Schon mehrfach dort zum Essen gewesen. Die Pinsas sind super lecker. Der Boden ist sehr knusprig. Die Beläge immer gut abgestimmt. Personal ist sehr freundlich und fragen regelmäßig nach, ob noch Wünsche da sind. Das Ambiente ist modern mit etwas Retro-Charme und passt sehr gut zu dem gesamten Konzept. Gerne wieder.

Zur Vorspeise gab es kein Besteck und Teller. Auf mein Getränk musste ich geschlagene 28 Minuten warten. Und die Pinsa hat gefühlt nach nichts geschmeckt. Eine einzige Bedienung hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben. Ich werde dem Laden keine zweite Chance geben.

Die Pinsa ist unschlagbar 😋 Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es nur, weil es an unserem Tisch (Nähe vom Fenster) sehr gezogen hat.

Hatte einen Tomatensalat mit Burata und eine Pinsa Meatball mit zusätzlich N'Duja drauf. Es war richtig lecker, siehe auch das Bild unten mit Beweisstück A 😜

Wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis, ganz netter Service. Das richtige für einen ganz tollen Abend mit Freunden oder zu zweit. Ambiente ist toll. Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich freundlich zuvorkommend und zauber ganz tolle Pinsas.

Komme jetzt schon mehrere Jahre regelmäßig zum Essen und die Qualität ist nach wie vor sehr ausgezeichnet. Der Service sucht seines gleichen und das Ambiente in dem alten Gewölbe ist einfach wunderschön.

Speisen und Getränke gut. Aber das Personal ist überfordert. Ewig lange Wartezeit. Nach über einer Stunde kamen die ersten Getränke. Für uns alle niemals wieder.

Pinsa buonissima! Very good doe and ingredients. Excellent atmosphere. Only negative note was on the pistacchio cannolo: it's a difficult dessert to properly prepare, with proper ricotta cheese, and was a bit tasteless. However, it's a very good idea to pair it with espresso, bravo!

Boah, ich denke gerne an meinen Besuch zurück. Der Service war sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat sehr gut ausgesehen und war sehr lecker. Preis- Leistung stimmt ganz und gar. Leider kann ich nur 5⭐geben.

Erste Getränkebestellung wurde vergessen . Die bestellten Pinsen waren recht schmackhaft. Wegen der vergessenen Getränke wurde sich entschuldigt Hatten eine Doppel Reservierung für acht Personen da uns nur zwei Stunden zuwenig erschien. Da leider zwei Personen kurzfristig absagen mussten und wir daher nur noch sechs waren wurden wir nach zwei einhalb Stunden gefragt ob die Rechnung geschrieben werden kann weil schon die nächsten Gäste warten würden . Fair war das gerade nicht in meinen Augen. Ein Wiedersehen ist fraglich

Pizza war sehr sehr lecker. Pommes nicht wie bei jedem Lieferservice matschig. Brot war auch gut aber noch Verbesserung beim Brot möglich. Alles in allem 5 Sterne

Essen durchweg sehr gut. Service sehr nett. Allerdings ist in der Regel viel los und es kann etwas länger dauern bis Getränke und Essen serviert werden. Preis Leistung völlig in Ordnung da nur frische Zutaten verwendet werden.

Sehr leckerer Pinsen! Ich empfehle auch die Nachtisch Pinsen 😍 Leider war es etwas hektisch und laut.

In den Kasematten sitzt man im Aussenbereich klasse. Die Pinse sind gut. Leider gibt es weder Fisch noch Fleisch. Service zur Stoßzeit etwas schwach besetzt.
