Always good... Our regular. Delicious food, friendly people, great beer garden, good service. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but they're okay... We always enjoy coming back.

We had the roast beef. And it was excellent! Tender and pink with a wonderful jus. We started with the asparagus soup and the side salad. And for dessert, the crème brûlée and sorbet. Fantastic! High praise!

We stumbled upon this place by chance after a hike. The staff was very friendly, and even though the restaurant was packed, we were served promptly. We each had a small salad (well-seasoned and with a good selection of ingredients), a tarte flambée, and a schnitzel with fries. The main courses were delicious and large enough to fill us up. The prices were a bit more expensive than we're used to, but justified given the quality and size.

The four of us, including two small children, really enjoyed our meal in the garden. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was also very friendly and attentive.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ The Kybfelsen guesthouse impresses with its idyllic location - located almost directly in the forest, surrounded by fresh air and wonderful peace. A perfect place for a little break in nature! The food is tasty and of good quality, although the prices tend to be in the higher segment. Anyone who values ​​detailed nutritional information may find the lack of calorie information in the menu a disadvantage. Nevertheless, the ambience is inviting and the food is a true pleasure trip. A nice place for everyone who appreciates a relaxed atmosphere and good food surrounded by nature.

We went to Kybfelsen for lunch on Easter Monday. All four different dishes were very good and the portions were generous. The price/performance ratio is okay. In summer you can sit very nicely in the beer garden.

We were very well received, although we do not speak German, the waiter spoke English very well and was very friendly. There is a small play area for children and high chairs available. We ate very well, the plates were plentiful. Very good value for money. Warm atmosphere.

Everything great. Good food, service is good. Kid friendly! Great terrace where you can sit wonderfully in warm weather. We'd love to come back.

There were 12 of us there, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, there was nothing else going on, so we still sat in the large room, which was a bit uncomfortable overall—the acoustics were like a waiting room... and the service was really friendly, but they "forgot" us every now and then, so no one had anything to drink.

To be honest, I wasn't particularly impressed. We were on the way home from Schauinsland (we were hungry and still had a 2 hour drive home) and stopped briefly to ask if there was a table available for three people. I was told a bit rudely...reluctantly I had the impression...if they're gone by 6 p.m., yes...but only at a table where there's no reserved sign...??? So there was still something free??? Regardless, we were happy to be able to stop somewhere at 5 p.m. The roulade was delicious, except for the vegetables, which were a bit too al dente...the schnitzel...you can't go wrong...but sooo bland, not even a lettuce leaf or tomato for decoration...if you wish I was brought a sauce that was cold and didn't taste good. So for these prices the result was only satisfactory from the food to the service to the ambience. I personally can't recommend the location, but tastes are different.

The food was really good and, above all, there were plenty of things on the plate. The ambience is like almost any inn, so it's not particularly outstanding, but the service is very friendly and accommodating. As everywhere else, the prices have of course increased here and going out to eat with my family is only possible for me on very special occasions.

Unfortunately the food cannot keep up with the service. Too bad!

In addition to the menu, there are often special daily specials. Special requests are usually accepted. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. When the weather is warm there is also a very nice beer garden. The service is attentive, quick and very friendly. The inn is easily accessible by tram.

This has to be one of the best German restaurants all around. Every dish was packed with flavour, starting with the soup, then the main dish and ending with dessert. Even the way they cooked a simple potato was exquisite! Highly recommend. The only thing is that the service was slow, but we were a huge group (~50 people) so I think that was the reason.

I've been coming here for many, many years and I can only say it's great! The staff is attentive, friendly and simply kind! I can't understand the bad recessions! The food is on point as always. I recently had the ravioli with pumpkin… Mmm simply delicious!

The Kybfelsen is a perfect place for every kind of going out, whether as a family, couple or alone. The cozy atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for autumn and winter and the beer garden is simply beautiful in summer. The food is of the highest quality and is the finest of the finest. I've been going there for years and will continue to do so. The staff is very personable and friendly.

We have always had very good experiences here. That's why we reserved a table for a wedding dinner and emphasized this when making the reservation. When we arrived we were allowed to "choose" a table in the beautiful garden. We had the choice between a large table with wooden benches and two smaller tables with garden chairs that could somehow have been pushed together. Purely by chance, a large table had just paid. Here we (perhaps unjustifiably, because the type of reservation is no longer taken into account) expected something more than just being lucky and getting the only large table or some table decorations? The service was attentive, but not trained. Unfortunately, my roast was completely cooked through. When we asked the service there were initially surprised looks. After a short conversation and a "cutting of the evidence", the meat was then taken to the kitchen by the service. So that left me with the vegetables and the fries. When after a while a new piece of meat came and was placed on the table without a word, I had of course already eaten the side dishes and in the end the whole meat... The food was still delicious, but with a dish costing 35 euros, the overall package has to be right. Are we coming back? Not at first.

The chicken and burata watermelon salad was very tasty and aromatic. Unfortunately, the sausage salad was bland and not of high quality. The drinks such as the lemonade or the spritz were delicious.

We were here as part of a closed society. The food was very good. Parking options are somewhat limited. The staff was mostly very accommodating and attentive.

I ordered the white asparagus with wok vegetables and basmati rice for €23. The portion was far too small, no one will be satisfied with it. It only contained one asparagus spear. The person sitting next to me got roulades, which he didn't like because of the overcooked vegetables, and a pork loin steak where the beans on the side were almost raw. However, the conditions were very nice and the atmosphere was also good.

Rating relative to regular restaurants and pubs etc. I have dined here several times. There is a beautiful beer garden in the back for when the weather is good and a spacious dining room inside. The garden outside is gorgeous and very highly recommended for dining. Food is splendid. This time I had veal cordon bleu, which was succulent and tendor. Carolyne had spargel and fish, discovering that if you want to taste genuine tender spargel, make the journey away from the tourist eateries. Another fabulous dinner here-- we are coming again later this week. I think that is a strong recommendation.

This was my second time dining at Kybfelsen. This time I had the goat's cream cheese as a starter and the polenta as a main course. In most restaurants I find it a shame how uninspired the kitchen cooks vegetarian dishes. This is definitely not the case here in Kybfelsen. The polenta in particular was just too complex in terms of its taste. The molecular mango-salt lemon chutney was just a highlight of the plate. Both in terms of taste and the different textures, it is a well thought-out and incredibly delicious dish. My companions had the roast roast, asparagus with schnitzel and duck breast glazed in port wine. Everyone was extremely satisfied and returned home full and happy. In addition, the service at eye level is always friendly and courteous. I'll come back just for the polenta, and I'll feel right at home because of the atmosphere and the staff. One more regular guest at Kybfelsen! P.S.: Our dog was also allowed to accompany us into the restaurant. Another plus point for dog owners

The inn looks a bit inconspicuous from the outside, but the inside is quite cozy, quaint but not too rustic. The service was absolutely courteous, fast, friendly - really great. Unfortunately, you don't see that that often anymore. The food, Baden cuisine, offers something for everyone. Children will also find what they are looking for. Prices are not cheap but reasonable. Everything we ordered was very tasty and the portions were large enough. Top. Will definitely come back again.

Nice restaurant, we went in for dinner on the way back from Schauinsland. It was tasty and the portions for both adults and children were generous. Depending on the staff, they were happy to accommodate customer requests. The long wait for the food and drinks left a bit of a bad aftertaste.

Wonderful roast duck and other traditional German dishes. Great atmosphere and service. However, they were not able to process credit cards the night we were there.

Geburtstagsfeier...sehr gutes Essen. Geeignet für Fleischliebhaber. Es gibt auch vegetarische Gerichte. Schön eingedeckter Tisch. Rouladen, Wildfrikadelle, Fischsuppe alles in Ordnung und sehr schmackhaft. Wir kommen wieder.

Siamo stati a cena questa sera e ho preso un piatto vegetariano con hummus, polpette di legumi e verdure accompagnato da una salsina deliziosa. Non ricordo il nome ma è saziante e delizioso, super consigliato. Ci sono altri piatti vegetali in menù. I miei compagni hanno preso un fuori menù con bistecca di cervo, anche quello molto buono. Una delle cameriere parla italiano ed è gentilissima e molto cordiale. Locale carino, bella atmosfera e cibo ottimo. Locale super consigliato!

Tolle Lage in Günterstal mit Garten, leicht mit der Straßenbahn zu erreichen. Freundliche Bedienung, hervorragendes Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen für kleine und große besondere Momente. Reservierung ist wichtig, da sehr gut besucht.

Sehr schönes badisches Restaurant. Essen ist sehr lecker. Karte ist nicht groß aber abwechslungsreich. Eine Tageskarte gibts auch. Zudem gibts einen tollen Biergarten unter Kastanien. Sind freundlich und schnell im Service. Mit der Straßenbahn ist man schnell dort.

Die eine Bedienung war sehr witzig und aufmerksam. Das hat mir super gefallen! Zudem ist das Essen und das Ambiente auch toll. Ich war rundum zufrieden:)

Eines unser Lieblingsrestaurants in der Nähe von Freiburg. Wir kommen so gerne hier hin. Der Service ist sehr gut, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Es ist immer wie ein bisschen Urlaub. Das Essen war wie immer ausgezeichnet (Lachs mit Spargel / Rahmschnitzel). Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Einfach toll! Mega nette Bedienung. Getränke und Essen kam super schnell an. Alle Speisen und Getränke waren sehr schln angerichtet und super lecker! Mit der Bedienung konnte man lachen und rumwitzeln. Hier werden wir definitiv öfters hinkommen. Nur wärmstens zu empfehlen :)

Wir hatten an sich einen schönen Abend im Kybfelsen. Der Garten hinten ist sehr schön zum sitzen, das Essen war von der Qualität gut. Allerdings kam für uns bei der Rechnung die Überraschung also uns für zwei Karaffen Leitungswasser je 6,40 Euro und eine eigentliche Vorspeise mit dem Hauptspeisen-Preis berechnet wurde. Der Chefkellner ist zwar die Rechnung mit uns durchgegangen. Uns ist der Fehler alelrdings erst später aufgefallen. Der überzogene Wasserpreis und der falsch berechnete Vorspeisenpreis trüben daher den Gesamteindruck leider..

Wunderbar der Biergarten lädt zum Verweilen ein, dazu leckeres Essen... Kommen gerne wieder..
