Kurpark-Café-Restaurant Adlwärth in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Well, unfortunately, I can't shake the suspicion that this alpine inn only accepts cash for a specific reason. Poor network is said to be the reason for the lack of card payments. In the age of Starlink and in a holiday region with international guests, this is simply no longer up-to-date.

Tradition meets quality! This restaurant combines Bavarian classics with fine taste and great attention to detail. The homemade dumplings and regional schnitzel are particularly impressive. The staff is incredibly friendly! A taste of Bavaria – a must-go!

We arrived spontaneously, and the place was packed. Nevertheless, they found the last two seats for us. They kindly told us upon entering that the food might take a while because it was busy and a lot of people had just ordered at once. We waited what we thought was a normal amount of time. The food was freshly cooked; you could hear the schnitzels knocking, and the salad was fresh, delicious, and well-dressed. The ambiance and selection live up to its reputation: it's a clubhouse restaurant in every respect. Cash only. All in all, this is an absolute insider tip, and it's worth it to chat with the people here and enjoy some delicious food!

Good restaurant, however a two price policy means almost reasonable price for hotel residents, and really expensive prices for customers only using restaurant.
