Sportlerklause in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

A very homely atmosphere and a very friendly welcome from the owner and his staff, good value for money. We now eat there every week because the food is really delicious and the quality is top-notch. Highly recommended.

We reached the Tannenhütte in less than 40 minutes. Beautiful views over Gap. The food is a bit pricey, but very tasty. We were there for a sundowner. The shandy was too strong for all of us, and the elderflower spritzer was a bit weak... perhaps they can improve that in the future.

Well, unfortunately, I can't shake the suspicion that this alpine inn only accepts cash for a specific reason. Poor network is said to be the reason for the lack of card payments. In the age of Starlink and in a holiday region with international guests, this is simply no longer up-to-date.

The location is very beautiful and the staff incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, our beds were very saggy, so I was in pain every morning. After we mentioned it, they said it was just the topper, which would be replaced later. Unfortunately, I still felt unrefreshed the next morning and was still slumped (at 50 kg, the weight on the mattress isn't exactly great...). Since we didn't have blinds, we were sometimes woken up at 7 in the morning by the leaf blower that was working around the lake. Not very restful either. Unfortunately, our shower was also leaking, and the bathroom was always completely flooded after showering. Sometimes it was difficult to even get a table for breakfast. Perhaps a few more tables would have been helpful.

Had a Christmas party. Eat lukewarm. Service very unfriendly and rude!!!!
