Very good, plentiful food. After a strenuous hike, the view and the cuisine were definitely worth it. Note: Be sure to bring cash, as the owner doesn't accept debit cards.

A very homely atmosphere and a very friendly welcome from the owner and his staff, good value for money. We now eat there every week because the food is really delicious and the quality is top-notch. Highly recommended.

The Tannenhütte is within easy walking distance of Partenkirchen and offers a fantastic view of the town. The style is modern and rustic. It's self-service. Our group drank beer and Schore (a kind of cider). I had a "Brotzeit" (a traditional German snack). Both were delicious, so we enjoyed the sun at the hut a little longer. A definite recommendation.

Restaurant: Service in the restaurant was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food and drink menu was well-stocked. Great seats on the terrace by the lake. Unfortunately, the burger patty was almost raw the first time. The second time, it was cooked through, but completely dried out. Room/Apartment: Very spacious. Unfortunately, the laminate flooring is now in poor condition...it creaks loudly with every step, is partially coming apart at the joints, and is lifting in some places. Unfortunately, we were assured over the phone that we could get two single beds/pull-apart beds, which was not the case. The rooms were very noisy. The balcony was very unkempt. On the first evening, a young man from room service simply walked in without knocking or prior notice. In the evening, the restaurant below the rooms is loudly cleaned. Blackout curtains could be better in the bedrooms...the rooms are flooded with light from the outside lighting all night long.

Had a Christmas party. Eat lukewarm. Service very unfriendly and rude!!!!
