Highly recommended, especially after a few days of eating typical Bavarian cuisine! Beautiful dishes, subtle Thai flavors (both spicy and mild) and the staff is extremely friendly! It can be busy here, reservations are recommended!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food, which was advertised as Thai, fell short of expectations, and the quality was poor. I was also surprised by the insistence on tipping, and when I declined, the staff’s response was unprofessional. Based on my visit, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Food (duck) was delicious. We were mostly satisfied with the service (one lady was nice and on the ball, the gentleman was a bit grumpy). The atmosphere was difficult because it was very narrow. The family next to us therefore left earlier and had some of their food packed. We had it "cosy" (five of us at a table where four would have fit, with hardly any space on the right or left to get through, for example to use the toilet). If there had been better space I would have enjoyed it.

WOW! I haven't had such good food in a long time. It is a comfortably furnished restaurant with a nice ambience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and also large portions. The price is slightly higher than in the surrounding area, but reasonable for the quality of the food. I'll be back :)

The two of us spontaneously ate here without a reservation. Unfortunately, we were only offered a seat right by the door, which wasn't ideal as it was quite drafty and cold when guests came and went. Shortly after us, an older couple also came spontaneously and got a better seat further back, which we found a bit of a shame. The atmosphere is otherwise very nice and the food was really delicious. However, the prices are quite high – we paid €20 each for a curry and a portion of Pad Thai. Unfortunately, our tip was also received quite disparagingly and there was no thank you, which somewhat tarnished the otherwise positive impression.

I showed up with two friends 30 minutes before closing time. The employees were so nice that we were able to order everything without any objections. The food was very good. The starters were amazing, and the duck was as crispy as any. We also had desserts. We had a wonderful evening thanks to the nice staff, excellent chef and the beautiful ambience. 10/10

Went there spontaneously. Had two peach iced tea, wonton as a starter, Phad Thei as a main course with chicken and scampi. Desert baked pineapple and Bavarian cream with mango sauce. The food was very tasty and sufficient, but the price was in the upper segment. Staff friendly and helpful, but slightly disorganized. Toilet hygiene is worth improving. Overall impression Recommended if we are in the area we would like to come back to eat.

I dined at this place when I was visiting Munich with my son in June 2024. This Thai restaurant is authentic. Excellent food, excellent ambience and wonderful service. I am currently in Munich for Oktoberfest. I was craving for authentic Thai food and I dined here today October 03, 2024! Once again a 5 Star experience. I highly recommend this nice restaurant and bar. Both occasions served by Ebo, a very energetic young man.

The food (meat with sauce) was probably just warmed up. The meat was definitely not freshly prepared and was completely tasteless! You can't be sure if you're actually getting lamb. (Perhaps stored in the fridge after frying?) The prices are exorbitant. In the city center you can eat freshly prepared dishes for significantly less money (8-10 EUR/dish less!)

I discovered this restaurant 4 years ago on a business trip and tried it again yesterday when I was in Munich because I remembered it being very tasty. And I wasn't disappointed! I'm looking forward to visiting again :)

Super delicious pan-Asian food. The selected spices in the green curry harmonized perfectly. Very pleasant spiciness (note the instructions behind the dishes). Service was super friendly and attentive. Absolute recommendation.

Friendly service, the vegetarian summer rolls were tasty but a bit bland. The prices are quite high, you pay €10 for two summer rolls. The Pad Thai was good. There were some vegetarian and vegan options.

We came as a family with two children and a dog and left the restaurant completely happy. The food was really very tasty - fresh, aromatic and with good spiciness. But what impressed us most was the service. It's really rare to find something like that these days. All the service staff were extremely courteous, warm and helpful and we felt welcome like we rarely do in a restaurant. Full marks and thank you, see you next time!

Maybe I caught Kun-Tuk on the wrong day. On a Sunday afternoon, it was among the few restaurants in the area that were open. Not all places were occupied. I still had to signal that I wanted to order, that I wanted to pay, etc. - the waiters only came to my table on their own initiative to bring me the food and clear the plates after I had already paid. It also took almost half an hour to get a massaman curry after I ordered it. I love massaman curry and I always order it when I go to a Thai restaurant for the first time. In my opinion, the curry was beautifully presented but the taste was extremely mildly spiced, even for a Massaman curry, and typical Massaman ingredients such as potatoes were missing. In addition, the curry cost almost €22. In my opinion the price-performance ratio was not right.

The food is very tasty, but they charge €6.70 for a 0.7 liter bottle of water. This is usury. Even a beer is cheaper.

Visited on June 29, 2024, drinks only, didn't eat. Warmest staff you can imagine, I was very impressed by the hospitality. Maxence, one of the chefs, also toasted with us - I will have fond memories of the visit.

The food is really amazing but the takeaway for the soup is really terrible. They only wrap tin paper around the soup and the soup spilled out everywhere. Maybe next time find a better container for soup.

Hello, I recommend you go to Kun Tuk if you want a good Vietnamese/Thai meal. Price performance is very good and there is nothing wrong with the food. Maxvorstadt / Univiertel there are now a lot of offers but Kun Tuk is still a classic. Enjoy it:)

Conclusion: Not recommended. Duck was totally dry, fried for far too long. The vegetables were no longer crunchy. And that for almost 80 euros for 2 people....WAY TOO EXPENSIVE Once and never again.

As an Asian… I don’t think the food here do us justice. Tom Yam Gong should be the most representative item of Thai food… instead this taste rather like an instant noodles powder soup. I was really craving for Asian food and found this restaurant but left with great disappointment.

I tried this restaurant today for the first time. One of the waiters was very aggressive. I asked him to be nicer, and he became angrier. No vegan option at all, and we had to insist a lot to have something to eat. It was really expensive. The all experience was disappointing.

Hübsches Interior, anheimelnd und gemütlich. Das Essen, gelbes Curry veg., war lecker. Gemüse knackig, die Sauce cremig und leicht scharf, extra Reis in großzügiger Menge. Kann ich nur empfehlen, vor allem auch als alleinreisende Frau bekommt man einen schönen Tisch und wird nicht am Schlechtesten geparkt. Höfliche und zuvorkommende Ober. Ich habe mich wohlgefühlt und werde wieder kommen.

A reservation is recommended: the restaurant was actually full all the time. I thought the food was OK, but it wasn't anything special. Plus the prices are almost outrageous. Starters all cost almost 10 euros, main courses from 18 euros. The service was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for food. I would also like to see better labeling for vegetarian or vegan dishes.

We've been here for lunch several times now and I'm honestly rather disappointed: the food is ok, but I expected a little more for the price. The staff is friendly, but at least at lunchtime they were very overworked and overwhelmed. You can't blame them here, but I don't think the management handled it well at peak times. This also means long waiting times etc... I would switch to other restaurants here at lunchtime where the price/performance ratio is better.

Mitten im Münchner Studentenviertel gelegen. Sehr authentischer Thai mit tollen spices. Sehr schön ist das Set zum nachwürzen mit mehreren kleinen Gläschen. Optimieren können man es durch kleine Erklärung oder Text. Gerichte sind ansonsten europäisch scharf auch wenn es meiner Frau schon zu scharf war aber das ist kein Maßstab. Ganz klare Empfehlung für tolles asiatisches Essen und herzlichen Service

Eines vorweg; Für Thaiessen Liebhaber unbedingt sagen „Original Thai“ sonst bekommt ihr nichts vernünftiges. Es sei denn ihr liebt fade Gerichte! Selbstgemachte Fish cake - Hammer. Som tam bitte nur original bestellen mit der nötigen Schärfe. Auch der Rest der Speisen sehr sehr gut abgestimmt. Service ist ok. Das Ambiente hat mit Thailand wenig zu tun. Aber ok - für mich. Hauptsache essen top. Schade nur das es ein bisserl preislich drüber ist. Wiederholung hier zu kommen 100%
