I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. First, they brought me the wrong dish, which was frustrating. The waiting time was excessively long, and when the food finally arrived, it was disappointing. The staff had a poor attitude and seemed uninterested in helping. The food was bland and not tasty at all. To make matters worse, after eating, I ended up with a stomach ache. I definitely won’t be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Food is delicious, but service is a disaster and staff not attentive. Of the six dishes, the last two came only after the first four people had already eaten. Mistakes are of course human, but we had to check with several people several times. Several waitresses simply ignored us and only the last waitress actually asked in the kitchen.

I went there to eat because of the many either top or bad reviews to get my own opinion. Personally, I found the staff very nice, the food was well seasoned, hot and tasted great. In terms of the decor, I imagine a Thai street food place in Thailand, even though I've never been there.

The food is really tasty, but unfortunately it is quite noisy with so many people sitting tightly in one room. The service never asked us if we wanted a drink or needed anything else, it was more like self-service. For the 10€ for the sticky rice I would have expected a little more rice than a smooth tablespoon 🫠

Great, authentic food and an ambience that makes your wanderlust even stronger. Feels like I'm back at the night market in Bangkok again. Absolute favorite here in Munich. And delivery via UberEars also works smoothly.

I would actually like to give it 5 stars. The food and ambience are really great and are like a trip to Thailand. But I really can't understand the prices anymore. We've been coming here often and happily for years, but €17 for pad krapao with egg? A limit has simply been reached somewhere. I think it's really a shame, especially since prices have risen significantly over the last few years

Hello, I would like to tell you that the staff is very rude and smells badly. I got some food there and just threw up. It smells like a staff toilet and there is no respect at all.

Khanittha is by far the best and most authentic Thai street food restaurant that I know in Bavaria. Excellent food, brilliant and friendly service, and a real feel-Thai atmosphere without the usual bells and whistles. Lovely

I have eaten and ordered here many times. This time I am really very disappointed. The Yum Wunsen dish this time was extremely salty, very different from usual. In this restaurant, it seems as if each chef uses their own recipe instead of following a consistent method. This makes it difficult to keep the flavor of each dish consistent, whether I'm eating in or ordering takeout. Actually, I would have only given one star, but since I'm a regular guest, I'll give it three stars. I hope my review reaches the restaurant owner.

I have ordered delivery here many times. The food is authentic and large portions every time. We ate directly in the restaurant with a large group for a birthday. Cool Thai street food atmosphere. I immediately felt like visiting Thailand again. 😁 The service is good and at some point we recognized by chance that it was someone in our group's birthday. There was then a very cool show performance by some employees (definitely not to be compared with other locations). The joy that radiated was great. As a gift there was also mango sticky rice and soap. Really super sweet. Thank you for the great evening! 🥰

At first and second glance, it's a very nice restaurant that really transports you into the hustle and bustle of Bankok. So if you like authentic Thai flair with a high volume level, this is the right place to start. The smell of the kitchen is also included in the visit. That doesn't bother me and it adds to the authenticity. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met at all when it came to eating. I had a curry Geang Pa with chicken. It was spicy, as described, but didn't taste like anything. I have rarely had such tasteless and watery food. Even seasoning didn't help. My companion had duck. It wasn't crispy but at least it tasted ok. I have the feeling that the quality of the kitchen can no longer keep up with the many visitors because everything has to be done quickly. Too bad! I don't know if I'll give it a second try. There are really too many really good Thais in Munich who value taste, even though the atmosphere in Khanitta is really nice.

We have been here several times and are satisfied every time! I can particularly recommend the Bamee Kee Mao if you like to eat spicier food. In my opinion, the Geang Massaman Curry, which is rather mild, is also really tasty. For us, the good taste also justifies the slightly higher prices. The atmosphere is very colorful and just as nice as the service!

Authentic Thai food from Thai staffs. The atmosphere is good with Thai Street food theme with food stalls and Tuk Tuk cars. Food are good but they forgot extra fried egg I ordered but bring it later after requesting. Bubble tea are all tasty. Deduct one star because some spoons are dirty.

This Thai restaurant is very good! The food has authentic flavors and is overall very tasty. The portions are generous and the prices are fair for the quality on offer, making it good value for money. A small point of improvement would be the ventilation of the room, as the intense smell of the food can cause clothes to smell strongly of it. Nevertheless, the entire experience was positive and I will definitely come back.

Tom Yum soup has exactly 2 pieces of shrimp! Pad Thai was oily and had weak flavor. Overpriced, and the food is average.

We ordered: Gutiew Nam Sai and Gutiew Haeng. Both dishes were extremely disappointing. They lacked flavour and no matter how much salt and chilli flakes we added, the food was just super bland and inedible. The chicken also had a weird smell as you eat it. I wanted to finish my bowl since I was starving and I was paying for it, but it was absolutely impossible. Surprisingly, my friend shared the exact same experience, I tasted her food and she tasted mine and it was the same kind of blandness and smelly chicken. Not to mention how over-priced the food is considering that it’s street food. It was absolutely not worth the price. Why the 2 stars: We also ordered Wan-Tan and Mango sticky rice dessert. Both of these were really tasty.

The request for a plate of dry pasta for a child was 14€ - this was not communicated beforehand...when we asked, we were told that that's just the way it is...we won't be coming anymore!

The best Authentic Thai food I have ever try in München so far. The decorations make me feel like I'm eating on the side of the road in Thailand but some staff likes to gossip about foreign customers in Thai which I am Thai and I understand everything! I have to listen about this everytime when the customer entrance the shop, would be nicer experiences if the stuff serve with full hospitality. The food is so delicious that I went two days in a row and ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious with real Thai taste. The food is very delicious. It's so delicious that you have to invite your friends to go again 2 days in a row. Everything in the restaurant gives you an atmosphere like you're eating in Thailand. The dishes you order are basil, red curry, red curry, fried + boiled chicken rice, crispy pork rice, papaya salad, duck larb, and Yen Ta Fo noodles. Everything is good. Except for the bad feeling of having to listen to employees gossip about customers who can't speak Thai. A fat foreign customer walked into the shop and the employee spoke very loudly in Thai. “Don't sit in the chair in front, the chair will break and make you fat. I just sat there and didn't look at myself.” At that moment, my friend and I were stunned. We sat for a while and a foreign customer walked into the restaurant to just look at the menu and then walked out. The employee shook his head and said, "A waste of time asking and then not ordering," but in conclusion, he walked back and ordered. The problem is speaking very loudly. Thai people sitting in the shop turned to look at each other. The admirable staff is like being half-siblings with a handsome older sister who has a lot of tattoos and a second older sister who likes to put on makeup and dress and speaks very well 🙏🏻

Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and service!! Will definitely be revisiting when we come back to Munich. Servers all spoke English, Thai and German and were great at communicating, recommending dishes and helping out. They were warm, welcoming and friendly. My husband is Thai so he ordered for us. All the food was incredible. Super authentic, delicious and cheap in comparison to a lot of other places in the city. The area is super nice too, with lots going on, great hotels nearby and a close walk to the city centre. Thanks again & we hope to be back soon!

Food was great! Service was quick and attentive. The interior is really fun and unique. I went on a Monday and it was busy but I was still able to get a seat.

The shop is really worth seeing, great atmosphere and furnishings. You really have a nice Asian feeling. The food is good, but unfortunately there is still room for improvement if you know really good Thai food. What actually surprises us is that apparently only Thais work in the kitchen in the shop, which usually guarantees really good food. Yesterday, for example, we had the appetizer platter which was unfortunately completely cold and the three dips were almost inedible. . . Very unfortunate.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Leckeres Essen für faire Preise. Ästhetischer Innenraum, sauber und gepflegt. Freundliches Personal und guter Service. Große Tische und viel Platz, auch für Besuche mit einer großen Gruppe geeignet. Manchmal dauert die Zubereitung des Essens jedoch etwas zu lange, auch wenn der Laden nur semi voll ist.

Authentisches Streetfood Restaurant in einer Lagerhalle. Plastikmöbel wie in Thailand. Reiche Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken zu vernünftigen Preisen. Bestellt wird am Tisch, gezahlt beim Verlassen des Restaurants an der Kasse. Service sehr freundlich, Essen sehr gut. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

There were four of us here and we had to wait 20 minutes, but you have to be prepared for that. The location is a bit noisy, but very nicely decorated, we felt very comfortable. The food was really tasty and authentic. We would come back at any time!

Well furnished restaurant. Unfortunately, the background noise is very loud and the ventilation is not sufficient, you always smell strongly of food afterwards. The food itself is very tasty and authentically Thai. The service is always very friendly, but the service seems a little overwhelmed at peak times because there are probably not enough people employed or the restaurant has been getting more and more tables. This also makes it lose a bit of its charm, as you now sit very close to each other and hear the conversations at the next table. Unfortunately, this is not appropriate given the prices. If you're just coming for food, it's definitely a good place, but there's still room for improvement for the rest.

That was an experience that I don't need again. First of all - the milk tea was delicious. The food we ordered was consistently bland and the chicken in the noodles (as well as the rice) was anything but freshly prepared. It tasted like it was made three days ago and was only added to the meal today. I wouldn't have found that okay even at a cheap snack bar on the corner...unfortunately, all the fun here cost a disproportionate amount of money.

Conclusion: If you like mediocre food at high prices with substandard service and arrogant staff, this is the place for you. Everyone else please go to another restaurant and hope that there will be room for something new here soon. Story: Five of us went there for dinner today. 3 out of 5 drinks were forgotten. When we asked, the missing drinks were brought to us. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of the underground service. Two dishes were forgotten again while eating. When we repeatedly asked the staff when the missing dishes would finally arrive, we were only told “immediately” and “soon”. By this time the others had already eaten the starter and main course. After renewed insistence on our part, the two missing dishes were finally brought to us, certainly 30 minutes later than the first dishes at our table. There wasn't even an apology from the staff. At the checkout we raised the issue again and expressed our displeasure. Again, no apology or other attention. You should contact the staff if a dish is missing. Thanks for nothing.

I had the sweet and sour crispy chicken, which was absolutely unappetizing. The chicken is absolutely dry and hard. The sweet and sour sauce was so sour that I wasn't even able to eat it all. At a price of 17.90, expect at least some quality

I would like to give more stars. The service is decent and the atmosphere is as good as you would expect from a location in the Werksviertel. However, the crispy chicken I had was a bitter disappointment. The sauce was really much too sour, it had nothing to do with sweet and sour. Maybe I'm having a bad day, but a meal that's so acidic that it gives me a stomach ache isn't acceptable.

I've been going to Khanitta on and off for three years, the last time was yesterday. Ergo today: Salmonella poisoning - no, thank you never again!

I rarely write reviews but today I just have to get it off my chest. It's a shame, it's a real shame, the Khanittha was once one of my favorites, but the quality for the price has deteriorated so much. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken, I had the feeling it was the leftover noodles with leftover meat that had been packed for me. I like to spend money on food, so I at least expect it to be fresh when the quality is no longer there!

Pepia - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The sauce is delicious, but the spring rolls are small and served cold. Pla Tord Kratiem - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The fish is crispy and served with a cup of hot rice. However, we were informed of a 6 EUR price increase only after the food was served. Moo Grob - ⭐️⭐️ The pork portions are generous, but it was served cold, so it lost its crispiness. The rice is also cold, and the portion is too small. Mango Sticky Rice - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The mango isn’t very sweet, but the overall taste is okay. Thai Milk Tea - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Served quickly, but there’s too much ice. The taste is delicious.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit fairen Preisen. Super Nachspeise. Der Laden hat Streetfood-feeling man fühlt sich sofort wie im Thailandurlaub und auch wenn der Laden abends komplett voll ist, ist das Personal super freundlich und flott unterwegs. Der Papayasalat ist immer wieder lecker. Die Cocktails hätten etwas süßer sein können.

We were there at lunchtime, of course I know it's incredibly busy, we waited 15 minutes until a service employee came to us. The Pad Thai took over 20 minutes and they forgot the one with tofu (eat 2). I like to wait longer when it's busy, but you forget one of two orders and the food is seasoned terribly (sweet) and hardly any vegetables or sprouts and a lemon (or lime). As a cook, I noticed that something was just being slapped on quickly.

It's really worth a trip. A piece of Thai street food in Munich. Be careful, hot really means hot here. The papaya salad was seasoned a bit extremely with soy and fish sauce. Still full recommendation. For those inexperienced in Thailand: You should know that there is no real dessert culture in Thailand.

Have ordered here again today for a long time. When we ate here for the first time about 3 years ago, everything tasted very good. Unfortunately, the food today had nothing in common with back then. The chicken in the dishes tasted old. The laab and pad kra pao were terribly tasty. There was no taste of Holy Basil. The best were the Drunken Noodles, which at least tasted good without the meat. Overall, unfortunately, a failure.

On September 24th, 2024 at 4 p.m. I spontaneously went to dinner with my family. Unfortunately, I have to say that everything has turned out to be negative. The staff was unfriendly. We wanted to sit at a table then the waitress said I should sit somewhere else because she was having a conversation. I firmly told her I would like to sit at the table to eat. Afterwards she walked away complaining and gossiping with her colleague in the background, Then the food came. It was dripping in fat, the chicken tasted like the fridge had a bad aftertaste, and all the dishes didn't come together individually. Unfortunately, I have to say that the restaurant has developed so badly since the boss is no longer there. I can't recommend it at all, unfortunately it's a catastrophe.
