Good food and quantity. However, the smoking area is in the entrance of the restaurant which is in the basement which is extremely inconvenient because the smoke comes in through the door which is constantly open. The restaurant is therefore impregnated with cigarette smell... too bad because there was potential

Authentic Thai cuisine with very good, typically Thai food. The location may be a bit simple, but the menu and food are all the better for it. The cocktails are also refreshing and highly recommended.

The waiters ignored us, our drinks were forgotten several times, our songs were also forgotten, other tables were given priority, that's not okay!!!

The restaurant is ok, but the service is very bad except for the lady with glasses and the older gentleman at the bar, very ignorant, waited 40 minutes for drinks, catalogs were fatal, tables that came after us were allowed to sing twice before we were even allowed to sing.

The food was very good, the staff were very unpleasant, we sometimes waited 30 minutes for our beer, we were only able to sing once in 2 hours, even though other tables arrived much later than us, other tables sometimes sang 3 times in a row, it was very unfair, there was no order, one member of staff deliberately ignored us several times!!!

It's said that if you get slow service in an Asian restaurant, it's authentic. This certainly hits the mark here. Great food, slow service. The owner was so loving and kind though, that I'm giving this place 5 stars anyway. Don't get scared by the entrance - I recommend this one.

Ordered 3 dishes - fried chicken wings, stir fried morning glory, and beef spicy salad. The first 2 dishes were excellent while the last one not recommended. Very good service though.

Avoid! Ordering is very slow and serving is even slower. We waited 40 minutes from entering the store to serving the food, and the food was wrong... With this money, why not eat anywhere else😂😂😂😂😂

Avoid it. The waiting time was very long. I waited for half an hour but didn't get to eat. The dishes were also terrible. I ordered No. 46 on the menu. This thing is just fried minced beef. A small portion of fried minced beef cost me 24 euros. I might as well go for Chinese food with this money. The taste was also average. My friend ordered No. 126 and fried noodles, which were not delicious either. The fried noodles tasted worse than the fast food on the street, and the portion was very small. When we were leaving, the waiter was clumsy and spilled beer all over my friend. I even feel that spending time writing a bad review for this restaurant is a waste of my mood and time. Avoid it.

The food was served very slowly. After waiting for almost 30 minutes, someone brought us the wrong order. The restaurant offered no solution, and a colleague tried to charge us for the incorrect order. In the end, the waiter spilled wine on my friend, which was outrageous!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! We stumbled upon it when shopping nearby. The food was incredible—seriously the best Thai food we’ve had in Munich. The service was excellent and the restaurant was so cute and clean. It’s unassuming from the exterior and there is a set of stairs (the kind owner let us use the service elevator to bring our stroller down). This is going to be our go-to place from now on!

Wir waren 8 Personen und hatten vorab reserviert. Wir haben 90 Minuten auf unser Essen warten müssen. Völlig desinteressiertes Personal… Echt unglaublich. Essen war dann wirklich lecker, aber die Stimmung war völlig im Keller.

Honestly walking down those stairs, I wondered if we were going to the right spot, but inside was only tasty Thai food. The place was pretty packed so the service was a little slow, but the waitstaff was quick when it mattered. Really hits the spot in rainy weather.

We went there as seven people for a company team gathering, service was quite fast for seven orders. Portion sizes were quite large, most of us couldn’t finish their meal. The most popular orders at our table were #33 green curry with chicken and #153 pad thai with chicken and both of them were delicious, we all loved them. We went there on Tuesday evening and it was not crowded inside In my opinion the prices were like 2 euros above the average Ps: they don’t accept cards for orders under 20 euros.

We always go to this Thai restaurant whenever we are in Munich. It’s authentic Thai Restaurant as everyone is Thai, chef is thai! Great service and not too far from city centre!

Truly fantastic! Cash only was a surprise. Very little English speaking, but if you are as patient (and attentive) as they are, you will get exactly what you ordered. Pad Khing & Green Cury were amazing. Also had the wonton app and it was great as well! Open late saved us tonight!

Fast wäre ich vorbei gelaufen. Der Eingang des Lokals befindet sich direkt neben einem Imbiss. Ich dachte schon, oje, hab ich da reserviert? Im letzten Moment aber sah ich die Treppe, welche ins Untergeschoss führte. Es war zu der Zeit nur ein Tisch belegt. Der Service kam recht schnell und brachte auch zwei Gläser süßen Tee als Begrüßung. Die Karte beinhaltete neben den Speisen auch bunte Bilder, um die Vorstellungskraft der Gerichte anzukurbeln. Insgesamt waren es sehr viele Speisen, immer mit verschiedenen Fleischsorten bzw. Garnelen. Ich entschied mich für die 1.203 Kraprau Kaidao (19,50 Euro). Dabei handelte es sich um gebratenes Hackfleisch mit Chili, Knoblauch, scharfem Thai-Basilikum und Spiegelei. Etwas irritiert war ich als ich bei der Bestellung nach der Fleischart gefragt wurde. Somit dachte ich, dass ich neben dem üblichem Rind noch eine zweite Sorte Fleisch auf dem Teller haben würde. Aber nein, hier wählt man die grundsätzliche Fleischsorte aus. Oha. Ich hatte aufgrund meines Gedankenfehlers Hühnchen ausgesucht. Schade. Das Essen wurde sehr zügig serviert. Neben dem fad schmeckenden Reis bei dem schlicht Salz fehlte, gab es das klein geschnittene Fleisch mit Gemüse sowie das Spiegelei, welches schon etwas zu lang in der Pfanne war. Da ich es weniger scharf wünschte, wurde ein Glas dazu gestellt, welches neben Öl mit vielen grünen und roten Chilis gefüllt war, um die Schärfe selbst zu regulieren. Meine Freundin hatte sich für die 63 Gaeng Khiew Wan mit Garnelen (25,50 Euro) entschieden. Hierbei handelte es sich um grünes Thai Curry mit Bambus, Thai Auberginen, Paprika, Kokosmilch und Basilikum. Sie bekam zwei goldene Schalen mit jeweils Reis und dem Thaigericht. Da wir nur Löffel hatten, konnte sie zu Beginn die Garnelen nicht genießen, da diese noch mit dem Gehäuse verbunden waren. Da sich der Service nicht blicken ließ, suchte ich ihn. Er war gerade damit beschäftigt, die ab 23 Uhr stattfindende Karaoke-Nacht vorzubereiten. Insgesamt hat es meiner Begleitung sehr gut geschmeckt. Da ich Mango Sticky Rice (Nr. 102) für 13,50 Euro auf der Dessertkarte entdeckt hatte, wollte ich den unbedingt noch probieren. Die Realität sah anders aus als auf der Karte abgebildet, aber besser. Es gab zwei süße und aromatische Mangohälften, daneben das obligatorische Schälchen mit süßer Kokosmilch sowie graugrünen Klebreis mit Nüssen bestreut. Insgesamt teuer aber sehr lecker. Später war das Lokal sehr gut besucht, vielleicht durch seine Nähe zum Bahnhof und diversen Hotels. Der Service war sehr ruhig, eher schüchtern und nicht sehr aufmerksam.

The food is delicious, although the ingredients may not be that fresh, but the Thai food is heavily seasoned and cannot be tasted. The environment was a bit strange, the smell of the restaurant was also a bit strange, and I also saw the male lady, which was amazing. I felt that the owner had an unusual background. There are also slot machines in the house, which have a lot of slots. But a lot of Thai people eat here, so the taste should be guaranteed.

Food delicious, staff friendly. Ambiance is a bit old. Parking situation complicated, best to arrive by public transport or on foot. Only cash payment possible. Access for people with walking difficulties is not possible.

Super Thai food! If you like to eat spicy, come here and enjoy the spicy food. They really serve good, authentic Thai food. We ordered Crispy duck as appetizer, Tom Yum, and Kraprao. They’re all spicy and very tasty. They don’t hold back on the spices. The presentation of the foods are also very good. We also served free tea and can have unlimited rice for free. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is very nice, with Thai decorations. The restaurant is on the pricier side but definitely worth the money. Must try for Asian food lovers!

A truly wonderful and exceptional restaurant, 100% authentic Thai cuisine and very friendly owners and waitresses. I was there for karaoke night and it really is the place to be in all of Munich at night. The food was absolutely divine and delicious, and that at 2 a.m., mind you. I wish there was such a great Thai restaurant in my city. The music was beautiful, the food, as already mentioned, first-class and the prices are completely reasonable. Other restaurants could really learn a thing or two from such hospitality; you immediately feel welcome and there is a good mood throughout the restaurant. The ambiance is also very nice and the coffee/espresso is excellent. I will definitely be back.

I ordered the chicken pad thai and tempura vegetables for take-away, and both were EXCELLENT. The pad thai was the second best I've ever had, and the tempura veggies were cleaner and less heavy than most I've had in the past. Very friendly owner who gave me a free Thai Tea and biscuits while I waited.

Excellent Thai food, and very cordial hospitality. We felt very lucky to discover this place. It was 3:30pm, too late for lunch, too early dinner service... we were two weary and hungry travellers looking for food. the senior gentleman warmly welcomed us and we had a lovely meal of red curry chicken, tofu and vegetables stir-fry and fresh steaming hot rice, and pot of excellent ginger tea. The genuine warmth of our host made our day. Will come again in our next visit to Munich. We strongly recommend this place! Only caution is...the entrance is a flight of stairs down.

Super tasty food and atmosphere. Feels like we have been brought back to Thailand. We order 4 dishes and all were super flavourful. Order the crispy duck with morning glory, red curry pork, tom yam gung and shrimp cakes. All of them were so 😋 delicious

One of the least delicious Asian restaurants in Munich. Even the apple spritzer doesn't taste good. The duck is over-baked, the chicken is too sweet, too much chili in the non-spicy dish... none of the dishes tasted good and the dish price was 25 EUR

As a lover of Thai cuisine, I absolutely recommend. Wide choice of dishes that respect the true traditional flavors (Difficult for Thai cuisine). Also a selection of dishes from the Isaan region. Very good. Externally it certainly needs improvement, it seems like entering a shabby place but inside it seems like being in one of those places with a familiar, and at times a bit trashy, atmosphere, typical of Thai.

Very good Thai food, good drinks and very friendly staff. Felt like a little piece of Thailand in the middle of Munich. If you have the itch for some good Thai food, this one is a good spot for it. They seem to season with German spice tolerance in mind, so maybe request "Thai spicy".

Food is okay, but unfortunately too expensive for what you get. It also takes a very long time to be served. (We had a waiting time of about 50 minutes.) Ps: Unfortunately they only had top rails and no bottom rails.

Food was very good! Possibly the best pad thai that I have ever had and the sticky rice dessert was perfect. Service and the place was nice even though the entry from the street was not that glamourish.

Me considero una persona fácil de comer, pero por supuesto preferiblemente comida deliciosa. Por supuesto, cuando viajabas y buscabas la comida tailandesa favorita, es normal si no estabas contento con el sabor de la comida, igual que comer en Tailandia. Como tailandés, me decepcionó la comida aquí, todo estaba salado. Todo salió mal, empezando por la bebida. Pedimos té con leche tailandesa, trajeron leche rosa helada, ensalada de papaya sin cangrejos salados y vino con cangrejo salado. Al final pedimos helado de coco y preguntamos si solo podemos tomar una cucharada, pero la respuesta fue no, así que tomamos lo que se sirve y muy decepcionados. El helado era insípido sin diferencia de tener hielo triturado. Al final las facturas venían con doble cargo de la bebida , cuando le pedimos al camarero que comprobara y su reacción fue grosera. Ese mismo día, había otro cliente extranjero , una mesa de dos ordenan solo una sola cucharada de helado y nada de comida. Otra mesa de tres tenía un plato cada uno. Éramos dos tailandeses, que pidieron tres platos principales y arroz más helado y bebida, pero fueron tratados sin respeto por un camarero tailandés. Dondequiera que vaya por la comida, no me importa pagar, pero en este lugar siento que nada es digno de la comida al servicio. Y como antiguo dueño de un restaurante y chef, esta es mi primera vez escribiendo la crítica del restaurante no porque no estuviera contento con la comida, pero el peor servicio es la razón principal y espero que lo mejoren.

So you are not respected here if you want to put on English songs, I was allowed to put on a song and then I had to wait 20 minutes because the owner himself put on his Thai songs. Better go to a private karaoke room!!!

Simple restaurant that felt like the 90s and hidden at a corner of a building. Good food Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup. Totally authentic. We dint enjoy as much because of jet lag recovery.

Thai restaurants abroad that taste just like they do in Thailand. Because I wanted to eat, I ordered a little too much because of the large size of the dish, following the style of food from foreign countries, but I ate it all. If you come to Munich and want to eat Thai food, I recommend it.

Food was not authentic. It was a weak mix. Friendliness was not there either, every time the gentleman looked at his watch. When we wanted to order dessert, we were told that was not possible. If you let your customer in at the last minute, you must also give them full service. Definitely not worth repeating!

Food is not bad for Thai restaurant in Germany but out standing for Thai people , but the papaya salad was good - many good Thai restaurants don't make good papaya salad here so if you love this dish this is the place to come. I love the decor esp. the Thai pillows.

Don't understand the good reviews...the food was really bad...Pad Krapao ordered fresh minced meat...got cheap minced meat from the discount store...the starter was really bad... The people who write here are the best Thai... I can only laugh, sorry, what kind of people are there who think that's good... the restaurant is in the basement... actually that says it all... Conclusion: starter zero. 4 main courses zero.. This for 169 euros.. there are certainly 100 better Thai in Munich and it doesn't take much... My tip for good Thai food. It was Sunday night at 11:30PM. In Europe, everything closes at 11PM. Left with few choices, but with a hungry stomach, decided to venture out. My choices were Halal street vendors filled with kids or this joint. I was wary in the beginning, but given its 4.3 Google rating, I decided to try. Boy, am I glad. Blasting with people doing Karaoke in Thai, it felt like I was in some bar in Bangkok. I ordered Pad Thai and Som Tam Thai (Thai papya salad). It was good enough for me. Thai chilli sauce was legit.

Firstly the food is very original Thai, the seafood wasn't quite as good but the Laab Gkai was great. The cocktails were also very tasty. The loudness of the speakers was negative, they were only a foot there and sometimes you couldn't understand your own words.

Authentic. Will visit again to explore more.
