I asked clearly if the dish was spicy because it was for my child. I was told twice that it wasn’t. When I got home, the food was extremely spicy and had a strong unpleasant smell, as if cooked in old oil. The meat did not resemble duck as described. I couldn’t give it to my child and had to cook something else. I ate a small amount and had stomach pain the next day. This was my genuine experience.

Pad Thai goes down as smoothly as good liquor.

I really enjoy eating here; the food is fresh, the service is quick, and the staff are always very friendly. I also like to order meat here, as it's organic. Unfortunately, the poultry is always very dry and tough, especially in the salad. This has happened several times now. I think they just can't cook it properly. (Maybe try dusting it with cornstarch?). From now on, it's tofu only :). Update: The dish is now three euros more expensive. Sorry, but I can no longer overlook the completely overcooked rice and the carelessly cut vegetables. If you're operating in this price range, you need to pay more attention to how your food is presented. It's such a shame! At the Asia Feinkost on Hohenzollernstrasse, you can see how food can actually look.

The food here is delicious, freshly cooked! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I ate in once and ordered takeout once, where I only had to wait 10 minutes. Both times, the food was super fresh and piping hot! I especially like the fact that they only use organic meat and they also offer some delicious vegetarian dishes, which is a real plus for a vegetarian like me. I also appreciate the plastic-free "to-go" packaging. I will definitely eat there more often.

I love their food, but I wonder who's the mad man that decided on their opening hours. Closed on Saturdays (!!!), Sundays only opens AFTER 4pm (making sure they miss ALL lunches, presumably?), but Mo-Fr normal opening times. Crazy

We were at the restaurant today at 8:32 p.m. and couldn't even get a takeaway soup because the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. That's service... emergency!

The staff was quite unfriendly. The food wasn't really good for our taste. Chairs without backs and blankets lying around that look like painter's fleece don't help either. The restaurant closes at 9 p.m., so it's best not to go there after 8 p.m. The kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m., and we're told this several times in a very unfriendly manner.

Used to be a really good restaurant. The food isn't bad, but it's still a chain with outrageous prices. I used to go there several times a week (until 2020), when the curry cost €9.90, and they happily raised it year after year, at some point quarter after quarter. Now this dish is €15.50, which is crazy. Add a drink and it's almost €20. It's self-service, not a mega-steak restaurant. The staff has always been mediocre, from rude to now very sublime. This place is unfortunately no longer what it used to be. And the Google information that it's very busy and full isn't true – there were four people there including me at 2:20 p.m. – clearly no longer dinnertime, but it used to be busy all day, both at lunch and in the evening. If they would simply adapt a bit to tighter budgets and not be so greedy and constantly raise prices, there would certainly be more regular customers and people in the store. But apparently, this isn't noticed. Driving home here in Schwabing - other Thai restaurants are packed. Well, maybe it's a good idea to reintroduce reasonably priced lunch dishes. In general, there are now many high-quality and moderate to amazing prices at lunch at Hohenzollernplatz, where the price-performance ratio is good. The food itself isn't bad and has been consistently good for years, but it's not a wonder of the world or high-class food. The quality of the ingredients is good. Pad Thai is very salty, to the point of numbing your tongue. The ingredients are only tofu and peanuts. It's understandable that the ingredients are quite rare.

I always get something from yum2take and just... had positive experiences. The Pad Thai was always delicious, the portion size was enough to fill you up and the staff were very friendly.

Original review: The Yum2take at Hohenzollernplatz has been around for many years now and was created as an offshoot of the Yum2take near the Schrannenhalle. Inside, you are greeted by an Asian-inspired interior with mostly small tables for two and four, some of which are also designed as high tables. Quite in the style of a fast food restaurant, although I don't think that expression is entirely appropriate here. You would like to - and can - stay a little longer. There are also several tables outside on the forecourt if you would rather have some fresh city air. The food is very tasty and of consistent quality. I can't remember being disappointed once in many years. In terms of price for a fast food restaurant in the upper segment, I think the price/performance ratio is just okay. However, the service (friendliness) has decreased somewhat. During our last visit it was also very loud (cleaning up/rearranging tablets). Still, always happy.

Spontaneous visit with 15 people at lunchtime... perfectly managed! Super friendly, the food was ready and served for everyone almost at the same time. It was delicious and filled you up... Price-performance ratio was right!

Klar kann man hier auf die Schnelle ganz passabel essen. Aber das Service an der Kasse ist eine Unverschämtheit: aggressiv im Ton, respektlos und für eine Servicekraft unwürdig.

Eine Unverschämtheit sondergleichen, wie respektlos die Geschäftsinhaberin, generell launisch, und ein paar wenige Ihrer Mitarbeiter mit Kunden umgehen. Inakzeptabel, insbesondere nachdem man dort als Stammgast mehrere tausend Euro Umsatz generiert hat.

Direkt am Hohenzollernplatz befindet sich das yum2take.Ausgestattet mit einer grossen Terrasse und direkt vor der Tram und Bus Haltestelle bietet es eine profitable Location. Ich persönlich bin kein Fan von diesem Schnellrestaurant.Kann mir aber gut vorstellen,dass dieses Konzept mit schneller und nicht hochpreisigen Preisen durchaus für ein Mittagessen viele Befürworter findet.Ich finde das Essen und die Zubereitung für nichts besonderes und teilweise unterdurchschnittlich.Vieles ist nicht authentisch und schmeckt sehr mehlig nach Glutamat. Ich kenne mich mit asiatischer Küche wirklich gut aus und das hier, ist weit davon entfernt.Man muss garnicht vielmehr ausgeben, in der Gegend gibt es genug asiatische Alternativen für faires Geld .

Geh rein, such was von der Tafel links von Dir aus und bestelle und zahle. Du erhältst einen Summer der dich ruft wenn fertig ist. Mal scharf mal schwach Gewürzt das ist unterschiedlich und nicht immer einzuschätzen. Suppe 🍲 immer das gleiche Gemüse manchmal hart zb Brokkoli 🥦 Chinakohl

Ich hatte Abendessen bestellt. Leider konnte ich das Essen nicht holen, da ich auf dem Weg dorthin mit meinen beiden Kleinkindern (1 & 3 Jahre) im Aufzug steckengeblieben bin. Hilfe kam erst nach einer Stunde. Als ich das Restaurant informierte dass ich nicht kommen kann (glücklicherweise hatte ich das Handy dabei), hatte der Mitarbeiter am Telefon überhaupt kein Verständnis und mich so blöd angeredet, besser gesagt beschimpft, dass ich mich furchtbar geärgert habe. Die situatuonnwar si schon blöd genug - mir Kleinkindern eingesperrt im kleinen Aufzug. Schade, aber so kann man nicht mit Kunden umgehen. War unser letzter Besuch bzw Bestellung im yum.

Ich bin sehr lange, oft und gerne zum Yum2Take gegangen. Leider sind die Preise unverschämt hoch geworden und ich sehe es nicht mehr ein diese enorme Preissteigerung mitzugehen. Klar, alles ist teurer geworden. Aber z.B. ein einfaches Curry mit Gemüse innerhalb von drei Jahren um 3€ teurer zu machen?! Das ist nicht gerechtfertigt und für mich reine Abzocke. Sie haben tatsächlich bei allem was draufgeschlagen, eine einfache Schorle ist jetzt ebenfalls 30% teurer geworden. Das wäre doch wirklich nicht nötig gewesen! Sehr schade! For once I like the red curry as it was not to sweet. The Papaya sald is a must eat. Will definitely go again to try out other dishes.

Ich finde das Essen schmeckt nicht mehr so gut wie früher …

Habe mir heute Abend das Gericht gebratene Reisnudel mit Truthahnfleisch., Broccoli und Karotten geholt. Die Nudeln vollkommen verkocht zum Klumpen verklebt......das Fleisch vollkommen trocken und zäh.....Broccoli verkocht und von Karotten kaum eine Spur. Ansonsten so gut wie kein Geschmack......das war wirklich ein unglaublicher Reinfall. 14,50€ ist auch nicht gerade geschenkt. Früher war da mal alles frisch und knackig, aber die letzten paar Male leider nichts mehr davon übrig.

Freundliche Bedienungen und leckeres Essen 😀 War jetzt schon paar mal dort. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Egal was ich bestelle, immer lecker 👍🥰

Ich war am vergangenen Donnerstag im Restaurant. Hatte ein rotes Panang Curry mit Gemüse und Bio-Huhn. Die Soße hat wunderbar geschmeckt und alles war sehr bekömmlich für meinen empfindlichen Magen. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Sehr positiv, sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist auch großzügig und ansprechend.

Having lived in Thailand for a year, I miss the cuisine. This place was recommended to me so we ordered delivery since everything is shut. We had a Chilli Flat rice noodle, Pad Thai and a Red Curry, all was delivered while still very hot and the taste was great. The meat is all organic and you can taste that, the veg was fresh and also very a great variety since in most places you just get a few sprouts and pak choi. It is a little pricey but you pay for the quality of the products. Also, you can easily share 1 main between 2 ppl with an additional snack. Loved it!

Ich bin eigentlich immer gerne her gekommen. Seit geraumer Zeit ist aber eine unfreundliche ältere Damen an der Kasse. Die ruppige Art hat mich schon öfters gestört. Heute hatte sie aber auch noch einen Hund mit im Restaurant, der ohne Leine herumlief. Dies allein finde ich schon sehr störend und unangenehm. Hunde haben nichts im Restaurant zu suchen - und Hunde von Mitarbeitern schon zweimal nicht. Das ist unhygienisch und es gibt Leute, die allergisch sind. Zur Krönung hat dann aber auch noch einer der Mitarbeiter den Hund gestreichelt und dann fröhlich ohne die Handschuhe zu wechseln weiter Essen verpackt und Getränke ausgeschenkt. Für mich definitiv der letzte Besuch!

Wir waren früher immer 1-2 in der Woche zum Mittag essen dort?klar die Preise sind hoch aber ist auch Biofleisch also ok. Die Dame an der Kasse blonde Haare älter is sehr unfreundlich! Was will man mehr? Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, man wird also nicht erschlagen von „wir können alles“-Karten. Das Essen wird schnell zubereitet. Viel Gemüse, lecker gewürzt. Alle sind nett - ich komme wieder.

Sind regelmäßig zu Gast bzw. nehmen uns Essen mit. Schmeckt gut, Fleisch ist bio und macht einen gesünderen, frischeren Eindruck als die gewöhnlichen Thai Restaurants. Einrichtungen ist modern und alles wirkt sauberer.....zu Empfehlen!

Das Konzept an sich ist schön, aber das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr. Für eine Portion Truthahn Curry fast 11 Euro zu nehmen und dann so eine 0-8-15 Qualität zu liefern passt einfach nicht, es war vor einiger Zeit deutlich besser. Der Mitarbeiter an der Kasse war extrem unfreundlich, was den ganzen Besuch negativ gestaltet hat. So einen arroganten Servicemitarbeiter habe ich nur selten erlebt. Wir werden das Restaurant definitiv nicht mehr besuchen und auch nicht mehr empfehlen.

Kann die schlechten Bewertungen hier nicht verstehen. Wir sind auch oft im Yum2take und haben bisher noch nie schlecht gegessen oder wurden unfreundlich behandelt! Die Tom Kha Gai Suppe war ein absoluter Genuss, Aromen und Gewürze haben perfekt harmoniert!! Das grüne Curry und der Fisch mit Ingwer waren ebenfalls sehr lecker gewürzt mit viel knackigem Gemüse! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
