Best burgers in the city, cool location, top service, nice waitresses! My absolute burger favorite!

I found the food very tasty and plentiful. The prices were also reasonable. Unfortunately, the waiter was quite unfriendly and the staff generally seemed disorganized. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but some of the seats are far too narrow. Sometimes you can't even get between the tables and onto the benches. The background music wasn't my thing and I found it annoying.

Just for the fact that there are people who distribute 1/5 based on the number, we get 5/5. Get your life together... - Food & service great!

My experience was absolutely amazing. A friend of mine brought me here for my birthday dinner and we had burgers and some drinks. The prices were amazing. The ambience was soothing. The music was absolutely great. The staff are absolutely friendly and responsive. Definitely out of 10 experience.

I have rarely experienced such excellent service as in this restaurant. The waitress Buket was consistently attentive, friendly and absolutely professional. Every wish was literally read from our lips, and it was simply fun to be looked after by such a competent team. Special requests were also implemented without any problems, and the waitress's recommendations were perfect. Overall, a thoroughly successful day – I’ll definitely be back!

The best place to go for delicious burgers made from regional ingredients in Nuremberg for years! The service staff is also great: attentive, friendly, fast and competent 👍 I think it's great that they ask about the cooking levels and the burgers are always prepared as desired. Special orders were also implemented very well during our visit!

Spectacular burger place and the ONLY place I found IPAs in Nuremberg. Also, the home made (non-alcohol) drinks were VERY refreshing. Our waiter, Domi, was great. Highly recommend. A taste of America in Germany!

Overall the Burger and Fries were really tasty. Regarding the service most staffs were really friendly but there was one male staff who was extremely rude. When we entered the restaurant we just asked the staff on whether we should just take an empty seat but he shouted at us to wait at the entrance. Honestly this guy has no manner and should be fired. Food was really very tasty, we were asked whether the meat should be medium rare or rare, but unfortunately it was medium rare so a little too raw but still tasty, next time just remember to order medium well, but still very tasty. Food comes from the region which is really great, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating, I will definitely come back to eat there and recommend it to others.

Always super tasty, good selection, great service & friendly staff. Definitely one of the best places to go in Franconia if you want a good burger. And I also really like paying by card because we live in the 21st century.

Every single employee is super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Special praise goes to Dommi (Dominik), who impressed us with his warm manner and excellent service. We stopped in Nuremberg on the way back from vacation to have a burger here. We saw it on social media at some point. We weren't disappointed! Parking is super easy thanks to the parking garage next door. The location is beautifully modern. The service was very attentive. And the food is simply great. The burgers were served medium fried, the fries were super crispy and the coleslaw was super tasty. The selection is great and doesn't overwhelm you. The team seems young and very motivated. We'll be back!

I was with you for the first time 5 years ago and could never really forget it. ^^ Today the burgers were really tasty too, in my opinion the best in a long time! Fries and sweet potato fries were damn good. 👍🏻👍🏻 However, the sour cream dip only tasted like quark - maybe the spices were forgotten here?? Deductions in the service because it was very inattentive and we sometimes had to wait a really long time. However, all in all it was a good visit and we would come back!😊

The food was good but not exceptional. There is a wide selection so there is something for everyone. The price-performance is okay. The service was not convincing due to long waiting times when taking orders and the like, but it was very friendly.

I'm not a demanding person but unfortunately I have to say that the fries were cold, the burger patties were fried as we ordered but the entire burger was lukewarm so unfortunately not good. I know that the buns get cold quickly, it was at that point not much going on sorry

The ambience was nice despite the street next door. A varied selection, the spaetzle burger was very good as were the fries, although it could have been a little less salty. The service was also adequate. I'll definitely come back and try out other burgers. You can also decide which level you want the patty to be.

I think everything is perfect here: service, ambience, philosophy & food! The fact that there is a gluten-free bun made from corn and rice for the burgers is my absolute highlight. I don't tolerate the rest of the grains very well, so I can still enjoy a burger every now and then - yay. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

The food wasn't the problem, it was fine. Not outstanding, but what you would hope for from a burger in a tourist location in Nuremberg. What doesn't work at all: the service. We had explicitly made a reservation for outside - it had been drizzling 30 minutes before we arrived - and the employee smugly said that sitting outside wasn't possible because he: (literal quote) "I don't feel like getting sick and that's why that's not possible" . So we were put in a stuffy, dark room with an open kitchen at 26 degrees outside, where no real conversation was possible due to the background noise and there were far too many tables in far too little space. We definitely won't be coming back if the staff conveys from second one that they actually don't want their job. Luckily there are better choices in Nuremberg. :)

Best burger shop in Nuremberg. The staff is always super friendly, the food tastes fantastic and it doesn't matter whether you pay with a debit card or cash. In a restaurant, what matters is whether the food tastes good, not how I can pay there.

I was there for the first time today with my partner. The service was totally unfriendly and disrespectful. We just wanted to celebrate a small occasion and when we ordered food the service made a fool of us. Our sweet potatoes were probably fried 10 times and we had chips on the side. The burgers were okay but nothing special. Because of this experience we decided not to tip, we said goodbye and didn't get a goodbye in return.

Super disappointed!! First of all the service is very long, we waited 30 minutes even though it was not rush time, and in the end a fry was missing, the sauces were not good and additional ingredients were missing from the Burgers . It was necessary to make the remark so as not to pay all these supplements. The fries were lukewarm and the burger was really dry and tasteless…

After trying almost all the burger shops in the area from Würzburg to Nuremberg, I would say that kuhmuhne rightly has the best burger. The rolls are great, the meat juicy, fresh ingredients. Everything really fits. I can only recommend the shop if someone wants to try a good burger (in my opinion the best in Nuremberg)

Large and filling burgers and fries, at a fair price. There is also room at the bar and there are good drinks. What is particularly striking is the staff who work with great pleasure and friendliness, both among themselves and towards customers, and serve quickly despite a crowded restaurant.

Very good burgers, delicious IPA, great service and good atmosphere for years. The acoustics are a bit loud, towards a party atmosphere, but fit in well. The negative reviews about cashless payment can be ignored. Bad spelling and grammar, fake accounts and political statements - have nothing to do with a restaurant review.

The burger was - as always - very good. Unfortunately, the friendliness of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. That was better. An absolute no-go, however, is that the card reader automatically adds a 10% tip to the price without asking beforehand. When I asked why I had to pay more than what was on the card, I was told that I could have objected to the surcharge. I really find this a very questionable method and I could imagine that many guests don't even register this immediately and assume that everything is correct with a card reader, especially all the tourists

Came here with a friend on the recommendation of a friend. Service came to our table after 2 minutes and rolled his eyes because we still needed time. Food was okay, vanilla shake tasted like 90% warm milk and 10% vanilla ice cream. Then we had to wait 20 minutes after being asked to pay and were told to wait in an extremely passive-aggressive manner (for no reason?). When paying, we were laughed at for a moment because we asked about paying by card because apparently “there is only card payment anyway”. A small box and our plates were brought to us to pack up. I can definitely recommend it if you like bad service and want to pack your own food. At least the tables next to us found the service to be just as unfriendly.

Update: even after years nothing has changed (in this case positively): still one of the best burger bars in Nuremberg (for me personally, even the best). Excellent quality of the patties, always very friendly, never fake service and the ambience is absolutely harmonious. You should definitely make a reservation.

Refusing cash as a payment method is a mess. The food is okay, but not worth the price. Edit: The arrogance of the managing director in the newspaper article speaks for itself if he doesn't care about the reviews.

Waitress was friendly. Meat was great, no industry. What I found best was that you could only pay by card.

The service was super friendly and the burger (Italian choice...green pesto and mozzarella topping) was amazing. An absolute taste experience!!!! But also absolutely inexpensive. With this quality you could definitely and without hesitation ask for more (burger 14 euros and large portion size!!!) Rarely have I had such a good taste match. Absolutely not recommended, the menu is very expensive and the staff was rude. The waitress said we had to order a drink and she made us order fries with the hamburger. 60€ for 2 people. Zero quality for Swiss price!!

Food taste good, with good variety of options, and refreshing "homemade" drinks. One of the best burgers I had in Germany, quite frankly. Main detractor was the fact that a lunch rush was served by a single waiter, so everything took quite a bit of time.

The Kuhmuhne is busy on weekends, so it's better to make a reservation. We found the atmosphere very cozy. The waitress was very nice, always there quickly and the burgers came at the speed of light. What can I say. It was tasty too, and based on the drink menu, you could still have a good drink afterwards. The only drawback: you have to eat in shifts. This means that after 1.5 hours you have to clear the table for the next person. So if you plan to stay longer, you should make a reservation a few days earlier and extend it later.

We all had a burger, some without bread. The meal was excellent! However, I deduct a star for the service. We made a reservation at 5:30 p.m. for 1.5 hours. So when we wanted to order another drink at 6:34 p.m., we were informed that we had only reserved for 1.5 hours and that we could otherwise have the drink at the bar. We pointed out that we should be able to drink in 25 minutes. In the end we didn't order anything (since the drinking was linked to cake, which wasn't available due to a broken oven). Unfortunately, it felt a bit like being kicked out at that moment. But generally recommended.

Discovered by chance. Great burgers and also cooked rare on request 🤩🤩 And for vegetarians, there are also very tasty alternatives that don't end up on the grill next to the meat.

The service was quick and friendly. However, the restaurant is really narrow so that many tables and seats can fit. Unfortunately too narrow. High chairs without backrests are more for the younger audience. Quite a small card.

The burgers are very tasty, but aren't necessarily anything special anymore because you can get most of them that way now anyway. However, the fried peppers were particularly tasty and were rather special. The staff is really stressed and the service is like a treadmill. You can only reserve for 1 hour and we actually wanted to have a drink, but were then told that we had to pay and leave the shop. They were friendly and yet it wasn't very nice. I really like the sustainability of the products and the selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Hence a solid 3 stars.

Super Burger, sehr sehr lecker! Leider war eine der Bedienungen komplett daneben, was die Stimmung und unseren Gesamteindruck etwas heruntergezogen hat. Nach unserer Flugreise hatten wir uns sehr auf das Essen gefreut und uns einfach einen Platz gesucht, da das Restaurant innen bis auf einen Tisch komplett leer war. Versehentlich haben das Schild am Eingang, auf dem stand, dass man warten soll bis man einen Platz zugewiesen bekommt übersehen. Kurz darauf ist es mir aufgefallen, sodass ich mich direkt bei der Bedienung entschuldigt habe. Als sie an unseren Tisch kam waren ihre ersten Worte, dass sie jetzt erstmal eine Ansage machen müsste, wir uns nicht einfach hinsetzen dürfen und ob wir das Schild nicht gesehen hätten. Es kommt immer drauf an wie man etwas sagt aber diese unfreundliche Art und der Tonfall hat uns alle wirklich kurz vor den Kopf gestoßen und nicht gerade dazu beigetragen, dass man wir uns wohlgefühlt haben. Wir hätten es noch verstanden, wäre viel los gewesen aber in diesem Fall war das total unverhältnismäßig. Schade..

The food was really very tasty. Unfortunately, the gentleman who served us seemed a bit stressed when taking our order and therefore unfriendly, especially towards the children. However, we didn't let his bad mood get to us and enjoyed the great burgers.

Even though the restaurant looks nice from the outside, it doesn't deserve a star at all. I ate there with my wife and 2 friends about 1.5 months ago, but unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience because my wife dropped a MADE out of her burger. After I told the staff quietly so as not to make a big fuss about it, the shift manager tried to play us for fools and said it was a caterpillar from the salad, since it is delivered fresh every day, although that may be true the salad is delivered fresh every day, we know how to distinguish a caterpillar from a maggot. After I reported it, they tried to “come to meet” us with a new burger, which we of course refused because you definitely don't want to eat a new burger after an experience like that. When we asked the shift manager if we would be charged for the burger, she said that it was already stored in the system and it was not possible to take the burger out, but we could get the fries for free, which of course I didn't believe. When I asked the service person who served us whether we could still take the burger out of the system, she just said yes. She also said that she couldn't understand why we couldn't just be given the burger and fries for free. When we paid, they actually tried to charge us for the burger, which wasn't even half eaten. After almost an hour of discussion, we were finally able to come to an agreement and we weren't charged for the burger, instead we were only charged for the fries. The store and the current shift management + boss cannot be surpassed in terms of subhumanity. Anyone who can run such a dirty store with a clear conscience and risks injuring other people through this abysmally poor hygiene does not deserve to run a store. PS: Another person who left a review even spotted a mouse in the store and apparently this isn't an isolated case. The store should be closed!!!!

The Spätzle Burger is a clear recommendation! It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious and creative burger. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. It's really rare to find a restaurant like this that is flawless overall. Gladly again!

If a burger bar - then Kuhmuhne in Nuremberg. Update after 4 years: 1. The taste of the burger has definitely gotten worse after my last visit (2 years ago). The meat was unsalted and much fewer ingredients 2. The service endlessly tries to sell something extra. Espresso at 10:30 p.m., no problem at all… + no tip = no thank you 3. Now back on the hunt for the best burger in town

Always happy to be there, great ambience, quick service, great selection of unusual dishes. Add regional ingredients and everything tastes delicious, what more could you want.

Solide Burgerbar mit guten, teilweise ausgefallenen Burgern. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern und ansprechend gestaltet. Der Service war alles in allem freundlich und in Ordnung. Man kann den Laden definitiv besuchen, jedoch hat mich das Essen nicht so überzeugt, dass es sich von der Masse abhebt, zusätzlich sind die Preise schon eher teuer für mein Empfinden. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Abend, allerdings nichts besonderes.
