Great restaurant, I'm especially thrilled that you can now only pay by card. Unlike in Berlin, where it often happens in the capital of Germany in 2022 that you have to have cash with you because you never know where you can only pay in cash.

Very tasty burgers, there are creative variations beyond the classic meat, cheese, tomato monotony. The service is friendly and fast, but you have to draw attention to yourself regularly. Unfortunately, there were currently fewer desserts than were listed on the menu.

We are completely thrilled! The burger here tastes phenomenal. We have already visited a few burger places that are said to have the best burger. But we found it here in Nuremberg! We had the “Heart Attack Burger” and with its 320g of the best Franconian beef it is an absolute delight! Absolute recommendation!! The service was very good, as was the location!

Burger was delicious, but there were no fries and after an hour they send you away, even though you have to wait almost 45 minutes for the food. It's also a little more expensive.

Fries sold out at 7:30 p.m., ~45 minute wait and burgers nothing special.

All burgers were very tasty and the service was also very friendly. What was a bit strange was that we ran out of fries and iced tea and were only able to offer us alternatives. For me this is bad planning.

First of all, the waitress was very disrespectful and rude. We came to eat hamburgers and they had run out of fries. It's really ridiculous that a hamburger restaurant runs out of fries. We decided to have dessert and they were finished! What else could there be? I didn't like it.

If we had a comparable store at home, we would be very overweight :-)

The establishment is good, the food is delicious, but the reason for removing one star is: I tried the very spicy Heart Attack burger, but it turned out to be barely spicy. The toilets here are also very dirty and small, and the height of the tables does not allow even a person of average height like me to sit properly, not to mention taller people. The drinks are delicious, the food is served quickly, the waiters are friendly.

I really don't understand why it was praised so much. An ordinary burger. Those who liked it so much must have never had a really good burger. The service is quite fast. Payment is accepted only by credit card.

Yesterday we were there for dinner with 5 people. We had to wait over 10 minutes in the rain until we got our reserved table. We thought the citizens were good, the fries are not recommended and everything costs extra. After the first drink we were immediately asked if we wanted another drink, the second drink came and then we had to pay immediately and free the table for the next reservation and find a place in the crowded restaurant ourselves to finish the drink!

Good burger. Fried to perfection. Solid fries. Fast service. Nice employees. A burger that can be recommended.

The food is good. Unfortunately you can't enjoy it. The following is my experience report and represents my personal impression or opinion: Five of us came and had reserved. First of all, despite having a reservation, we had to wait a few minutes. No thing. The fact that we were already directed to the entrance area in a somewhat friendly manner, along the lines of "you're in the way, get out again" (while it was raining outside...), should have made us take notice... (Guys, just make the entrance area a little bigger - according to the sign you SHOULD wait there until you are seated!) The food came in a reasonable time and the burger was delicious. The bar service is also OK so far. The ambience and music volume are a matter of taste. After the meal, shortly after ordering the second drink, we were kindly informed that our table would be reserved for the next guests in a few minutes. I don't understand why you can't say that BEFORE ordering. We didn't realize that we only had 90 minutes (or not even that) time. There was no time left for dessert, which I would have liked to treat myself to... Shortly afterwards a waiter came and literally drove us away from the table. Our argument that we didn't get the table until later and at least wanted to finish the drink was dismissed with "no discussion here, leave here IMMEDIATELY". We could still squeeze in at the bar... (well, if I want to go to a bar, I'll go to a bar. And if I go to a restaurant to eat, I don't want to squeeze in at a bar...) The icing on the cake was that the table wasn't reoccupied while we stood outside for a few minutes... Then you feel really ripped off... With this campaign you made it onto my personal boycott list. I don't come here anymore. There are also good burgers elsewhere where you feel welcome as a guest. For the sake of completeness, here are a few possible improvements: - Extend time slots or make them selectable. - Create more space in the entrance area - Clearly point out a time limit right from the start - Stop taking an order if the table needs to be vacated in 10 minutes (or point it out straight away) - Training staff on how to deal with customers. “It used to be true that “the customer is king”. Maybe I'm too old-fashioned...

The burgers are quite good, but the service is a bit noisy

Burger good, fries not so much. Music too loud, sometimes there is a stressful atmosphere. You are first asked if you would like something else to drink, and shortly after ordering you have to leave the table to make room for subsequent customers, and this after only 1:15 hours. Sitting on the stools is uncomfortable. Sorry, I'm not coming anymore!

We had a very bad experience at Kuhmuhne. It's been a while since we ate there, on October 3rd, 2024. We were traveling with our 2.5 month old baby. Called in advance about space and also about the stroller - it takes up a bit of space and the restaurant isn't the biggest. No problem, we should come. I went outside to breastfeed my son because it wouldn't have worked in the high chairs. An employee asked if I needed anything etc. So far, so good. Everything went well until the little one later started whining because the music was too loud. Since we wanted to go home anyway, no stress. So now the problem: There is no changing table in the restaurant! Kind of sad. Where to change when the diaper is full? The little one was already crying a lot. We decided to go directly in the stroller. This way no one is disturbed and apart from my husband and I, none of the other guests saw it, let alone noticed it. I can hardly leave my child lying in his own feces. A waiter (dark hair, beard & cap) probably saw it differently and was really freaked out by what we could think of to change our baby here. We should go outside immediately, this is definitely not possible in the restaurant and it is a restaurant where food is served. That's not possible and we have to go outside immediately. Knowing full well that it was freezing outside! He probably didn't care. Then I said, we're almost done and we're leaving straight away anyway. He almost wanted to throw us out. I was so horrified that I cried for days afterwards because I was really hurt by how people and especially babies were treated in the Kuhmuhne. My baby is crying and just wants a fresh diaper. None of the other guests noticed the changing or complained. I'm still horrified by this man's rudeness. I/We always really enjoyed eating here, but we will never come back if babies/children are so unwanted. Really a shame! Hope something changes here.

Wir haben eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung in der Kuhmuhne gemacht. Es ist schon etwas her, dass wir dort essen waren, am 03.10.2024. Wir waren mit unserem 2,5 Monate alten Baby unterwegs. Vorab angerufen, bez. Platz und auch wegen dem Kinderwagen - nimmt ja etwas Platz weg und das Lokal ist nicht das Größte. Alles kein Problem, wir sollten kommen. Zum stillen meines Sohnes bin ich nach draußen gegangen, da es auf den Hochstühlen nicht funktioniert hätte. Ein Mitarbeiter hat noch gefragt, ob ich etwas benötige etc. Soweit, so gut. Alles recht gut geklappt bis der Kleine später irgendwann angefangen hat zu quengeln, weil die Musik zu laut war. Da wir eh heim wollten, kein Stress. So, jetzt das Problem: Es gibt keine Wickelkommode im Lokal! Irgendwie traurig. Wo wickeln, wenn die Windel voll ist? Der kleine hat schon sehr geweint. Wir haben uns für direkt im Kinderwagen entschieden. So wird niemand gestört und außer meinem Mann und mir hat es wirklich niemand von den andern Gästen gesehen geschweige denn mitbekommen. Ich kann schlecht mein Kind in seinem eigenen Kot liegen lassen. Ein Kellner (dunkle Haare, Bart & Cap) sah das wohl anders und ist regelrecht ausgeflippt, was uns einfällt unser Baby hier zu wickeln. Wir sollen sofort nach draußen gehen, im Lokal geht das keinesfalls und es handelt sich um ein Lokal in welchem Essen serviert wird. Das geht nicht und wir müssen sofort nach draußen. Wohl wissend, dass es draußen arschkalt war! War ihm wohl egal. Ich meinte dann, wir sind so gut wie fertig und gehen eh gleich. Er wollte uns schon fast rausschmeissen. Ich war so entsetzt, dass ich tagelang danach noch geweint habe, weil es mich wirklich sehr verletzt hat, wie in der Kuhmuhne mit Menschen und v.a. Babys umgegangen wird. Mein Baby weint und möchte einfach nur eine frische Windel. Keiner der anderen Gäste hat das Wickeln mitbekommen bzw. sich beschwert. Ich bin immer noch entsetzt, von der Unfreundlichkeit dieses Mannes. Ich/Wir waren hier immer total gerne essen, aber wir werden nie wieder kommen, wenn Baby‘s/Kinder so unerwünscht sind. Echt schade! Hoffe es ändert sich hier was.

Delicious burgers, one star deducted for the very narrow seats against the wall. You should reserve a few weeks in advance.

The lady working there was very attentive to us. We tried the cheese burger and the der beste burger. Personally, our expectations were higher, we didn't find the burgers very tasty, we've had better burgers, but it was really bad, so I can't say don't go.

Very nice place in Altstadt. Many table has already reserved. But they arrange a table for us. We are crowded. The tables ara generally big and nice service. The waitress are friendly and fast service. I ate hamburger, ı found the meet dry. But their pommes are best! I will never forget it!

Recientemente visité este restaurante en un viaje familiar a Nuremberg. Llegamos poco después de que el restaurante abrió para la cena y a pesar de que el restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío la camarera tardó un tiempo inusualmente largo en tomar nuestro pedido y traernos nuestra comida. Somos una familia de cuatro y aunque mi esposa dijo que le gustó la comida, mis 2 hijos y yo lo encontramos no comestible. Además, no se podía pagar con dinero en efectivo, que era la primera vez que lo he visto en Alemania. En general la experiencia fue muy decepcionante a pesar de una visita por lo demás agradable a la ciudad. Recomendaría encarecidamente evitar este lugar.

Very friendly staff, very good food, fair prices, very pleasant atmosphere - important only card payment possible, no cash - the urinals are brilliant, the upper part is a sink for washing your hands and so this water is then used for rinsing, very water-saving and sustainable

We sipped our beers accompanied by a very nice, delicious hamburger. We also thank our friendly brother Kamil who helped us.

The side salad was in an impractical glass and the waiter allocated seats rather harshly. But it was delicious.

It has received a lot of praise, but the burgers are ordinary. I think anyone who says this place's burgers are great has never eaten a burger. A place to fill your stomach.

Disrespectful and contemptuous!!! I was there with my brother on November 23rd afternoon. My brother has a disability and missed the “Please wait here” sign. The waitress yelled at us in the store and kicked us out again because he was in the way. His colleague kindly apologized to us, but since we were probably in the way of the noble head waiter, we still had to leave. I've never experienced anything like this before. The waiter with glasses and a beard should be ashamed of himself!

For us the best burgers in town. I would like a little more variety and variety. Quality is mega!

The meat is great and even from local Franconian cattle. The burgers are prepared with love, the fries taste good too. Sauces are great. Service asks pleasantly often, but not annoyingly, whether everything is okay. The cherry on top are the funny outside cabins, plexiglass walls with doors and places for 2 inside. Super private and pleasantly warm thanks to the heater. The homemade lemonade is also tasty. Clear recommendation!

Time slot 90 minutes was taken advantage of and kindly asked to leave. But in return I charged 200 euros.

I had an amazing experience at this burger restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, with rich and mouth-watering flavors that truly impressed me. The vegetarian goat cheese burger is a poem - I would order it again and again. Service very nice and atmosphere modern. But later in the evening it was a bit too loud for me.

It was a great visit to the Kuhmuhne. The service staff had everything under control and the kitchen was also perfect. And kudos that dogs are allowed in. My little dachshund even got a bowl to drink from. I'd love to come back

The service was constantly annoyed and snippy, there were dried leftovers from the last customer on our plates, and the burger was cold. You also often hear the internal disputes between the kitchen and the wait staff.

To be honest, I think it's a shame that a restaurant is now being denounced here just because it no longer takes cash. It doesn't bother me personally, I always do it that way anyway. I don't have an ATM near me, so I'm happy with any location where I can pay with a card. Food is super tasty, service was friendly. Music on Saturday afternoon a bit loud, but still OK. I can recommend. 😁

Great burgers, great atmosphere and great service! There's plenty of original creations on the menu, and the weekly special (pictured below, a goat cheese burger with red beets and walnuts, beef patty on a whole wheat bun) was amazing. Can be a bit noisy with the techno music playing over the speakers and the fact that it can get quite busy, but a worthwhile visit for burger enjoyers when vacationing in Nürnberg!

The young lady (waitress) even said that if the card doesn't work, she will transfer it from her card and I will give her the money in cash (only card payment is possible). I don't know what the burger tastes like because it didn't get that far. They offer about 7-8 different variants, the day we were there there were only 3 because they had problems with the oven. We got space, Nobody said in advance that the menu would be so limited. Let us order drinks, then when ordering... No, we didn't. Ok, 10 minutes later the waitress came back the same thing again. Then we gave up and goodbye. Service is a disaster

Three of us ate there. We ordered a table at 6:30 p.m. We were there at 6:20 p.m., 5 tables free. We were still asked in a comparatively unfriendly manner to wait outside until 6:30 p.m.! Waitress snapped at her colleague, clearly audible to us: "They shouldn't have come back until half past." The food came quickly. The burgers tasted very bland and no salt or pepper was used. Atmosphere was very dark and loud. Were annoyed after about half an hour and left straight after eating. Not recommended for the comparatively high prices for burgers and fries.

Hamburger, good beer and great service! Excellent restaurant. We entered it after a tour of a toy museum of several hours with children, which is located nearby. The service was a little slow but everything was forgiven after we got the burger so delicious and a beer from an excellent local brewery on the side. When we are close we will definitely go back there.

Unfortunately I have to revise my good rating from 7 years ago. I hadn't eaten here in years and was really happy that there was now a gluten-free burger bun option. Well, all well and good, ordered and then the nice service employee pointed out that the rolls were gluten-free, but were toasted on the same rack as the normal rolls. Unfortunately, this is still not an option for people with celiac disease. Isn't it possible to leave a corner on the grill free? Or then not to advertise gluten-free. Then we ordered the burger without the bun, which of course is just a meatball on lettuce and not a real burger, Unfortunately it was the last time I ate there.

The restaurant looks good on the outside - but hair in the food and lipstick on the water glass is just disgusting. Especially since there was no honest apology and the glass replacement was accompanied by eye rolling. Not a second time. Omg

Everything is great here: food, service, atmosphere. The burgers are big and very tasty, probably the best in the city! We were offered to choose the degree of roasting of the meat, not everywhere has this option.

I ate so many burgers. Nowhere else tastes like it does here. My favorite burger shop since 2016. Burgers exactly how I like it! I don't know any better fries. The beer is the second best in Germany without a doubt. Keep it up! Thumbs up! Tastes can be debated but the shop is completely to my liking.

You can just eat and drink very well there

I'm thrilled. The restaurant was pretty full. The waitress saw us quickly and was very friendly, even though she was already busy. “Of course we’ll find a place.” The burger was so delicious. Rarely have I had such a delicious burger. And the salad instead of rolls was also really tasty. Everything was lovingly prepared, at least that's how it looked and how it tasted. The staff was really nice. They were in such a naturally good mood. That was really pleasant and unfortunately you see it too rarely. I'll be back and can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Mega tasty, top prices & service

I found the food very tasty and plentiful. The prices were also reasonable. Unfortunately, the waiter was quite unfriendly and the staff generally seemed disorganized. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but some of the seats are far too narrow. Sometimes you can't even get between the tables and onto the benches. The background music wasn't my thing and I found it annoying.
