We were extremely satisfied with our first visit. We had a reservation for 7 pm, but unfortunately arrived at 6:15 pm. This wasn't a problem at all; we were given a table immediately (there were three of us). We were told right away that we could have the table for 1.5 hours, which we found a little disappointing, but it would have been perfectly sufficient for dinner and a few drinks. Since it gradually became less crowded after 1.5 hours, we were able to stay without any problems and spent almost the entire evening there, sampling the non-alcoholic drinks, all of which we can highly recommend. Beforehand, we had burgers with sides and were absolutely delighted with them as well. All in all, we left the restaurant completely satisfied and will gladly return.

The food was great, and the service was quick and friendly despite the restaurant being packed. However, sitting there became very uncomfortable after more than an hour.

You're sitting by the window in winter and it's quite drafty, portions are relatively small, otherwise OK 😉

Everything was perfect, the cauliflower with BBC sauce and sour cream was sensational, I'd never eaten anything like it before, I was completely surprised how good it was 👍 I felt very comfortable.

The interior of the restaurant looks particularly beautiful, with the birch logs everywhere. We made a reservation online, which was easy. The food (burgers and fries) was fresh and hot; the fries with garlic and avocado sauce were crispy and delicious. The homemade lemonades are highly recommended. The service was helpful in choosing dishes, friendly, and attentive.

Update: We were there for the second time in a week. It was another fantastic visit. A real recommendation! Delicious burgers, original cocktails, a fun atmosphere, and the homemade lemonades are also very good. We'd be happy to come back. Suggestion: maybe offer the beef burgers medium.

The hamburgers were good. The garlic fries were more like garlic and fries. Not quite my thing. Good and friendly service.

The delivery arrived incomplete. This meant that the already expensive burger was completely overpriced. When I called the restaurant, promises were made that weren't kept. I'm still waiting for my refund. I really can't recommend anyone order from there!!!

I'm thrilled with this restaurant near Nuremberg Central Station and the Handwerkerhof, as well as the city center! The entrance is a bit of a nook to find. But as soon as you step inside, you're struck by the cozy, distinctive atmosphere – modern, with the familiar birch trunks, yet inviting and pleasantly relaxed. Ideal for a meal with friends, after work, or simply as a longer stop in the city center. The highlight is definitely the burgers. You can tell the passion goes into cooking: the meat is juicy, perfectly grilled, and aromatically seasoned. I'm particularly impressed by the fact that they also offer really good vegan burgers – not as a last resort, but with their own, creative recipes that absolutely hold their own in terms of taste. Another plus is the option to choose your own bun – whether classic, whole-wheat, or brioche, all fresh and fluffy. We had the delicious burger with mushrooms, bacon, and caramelized onions, along with sweet potato chips, and the excellent burger with goat cheese and fries. The mixed coleslaw deserves special praise. It's delicately seasoned, slightly spicy, and pleasantly fresh – a great side dish that pairs perfectly with the burgers. There's also a truly enjoyable selection of drinks – from homemade lemonades to creative cocktails, all lovingly served and perfectly flavorful. Unfortunately, there was no coconut-based cocktail available. The service was also top-notch: friendly, attentive, and relaxed, without being intrusive. You can tell the team enjoys their work and cares about making their guests feel comfortable. Overall, a thoroughly successful concept – a modern burger restaurant with quality, flavor, and heart. I'll definitely be back and can recommend the Bürgerrestaurant to anyone looking for a really good burger (whether meat or vegan) in Nuremberg!

After a short wait, we were assigned a free table. It was quite busy, but the service was excellent, the food was very good, and the overall experience was a complete satisfaction! We'd be happy to return.

I'll be back again and again, especially with kids. A great place to eat a delicious burger. Alex does a fantastic job as a waiter; he's a really nice guy. The ambiance is also very pleasant and just different from most restaurants. They could pay a bit more attention to cleanliness, especially when it comes to the look of the tables and the area under the benches, but otherwise, I have nothing to complain about.

A restaurant with really good drinks, and the food is also quite good, but I recommend coming in the evening for a drink and a snack! Unfortunately, it's always a bit noisy because the restaurant is so busy.

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. It took them over an hour to bring the food, and when it finally arrived, they only served one portion even though we had ordered more. On top of that, their behavior felt racist and discriminatory, which made the whole experience very unpleasant. I would never recommend this place.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal. The burgers and fries were excellent, and the homemade iced tea was also perfect! We didn't have to wait long for our food, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. As a guest, you can tell that the employees enjoy their work, which creates a very relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely eat here again when I'm back in Nuremberg because everything was absolutely perfect!

I got my food delivered. One thing was missing, but it was refunded after a phone call. The dessert was even worse. Warm chocolate cake with ice cream and whipped cream. The ice cream and whipped cream were in separate containers, but in the same box as the warm chocolate cake. When it arrived, the ice cream was just sauce, and the whipped cream was also liquid. How can you even offer a meal like this for delivery if you don't have a proper delivery concept other than piling everything into a box? Ice cream and whipped cream just don't tolerate heat 🤷🏼‍♂️ Why would you order from a fast food restaurant?

Great food, clean restrooms, and a super-competent staff member. The new fries are amazing. The lemonade is very refreshing and made with love.

The restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from the main train station. It gets very busy, especially on weekends, so I recommend making an online reservation in advance. The food was delicious, as were the drinks, but the service was a bit slow, with someone only coming to our table about every 45 minutes. Overall, I felt the staff inside were too few...but they were friendly. I'd be happy to come back – I also liked the "hip" decor.

Unfortunately, the menu has been changed, and many burgers have been removed from the menu. The sauces are no longer free, but instead you have to pay €1.90 for each small portion of sauce! After waiting outside for over 15 minutes for a server, we decided to go to another restaurant – considering the new menu, that was a better idea.

One of the best veggie burgers I've ever eaten. The matcha latte was also delicious, and they didn't skimp on the matcha, which I thought was great. I thought the loaded chili fries were delicious, but the price was a bit excessive for the small portion. The servers are friendly. The atmosphere is nice and clean.

It's really OK, but at almost €50 for lunch... the price-performance ratio just doesn't add up. With an estimated material cost of less than €10... it just doesn't add up.

I come here twice a year to Nuremberg and we often come here, the hamburgers are the best of all, the prices are a bit high but the Erdinger beer is worth it and it's the best.

What I personally think: There was no organization. There were a lot of people there, but only two waiters outside. The meat was salty and dry, and there weren't that many potatoes.

We asked the waitress if the fries could be made a little crispier, but we received a no without explanation, as if it was impossible to leave the potatoes in the fryer for 2 minutes longer.

I was at Hans im Glück in Nuremberg and had the Beherzter burger. I actually wanted it with truffle mayo, but it didn't arrive. When I asked about it, I was initially told it was already on the sauce and had just mixed with the other sauces – but I couldn't taste any of it. I also had fries, which were initially forgotten but then quickly brought back. To drink, there was a thirst quencher with currants and blueberries – it was very tasty. Overall, the meal was good, and the outdoor seating was pleasant. When I complained about the sauce, the waitress wasn't particularly accommodating at first. Towards the end, however, she removed the truffle mayo, even though the kitchen continued to insist it was on the sauce. Well, it is what it is – at least it was resolved in the end.

Unfortunately, the lunch menu no longer includes espresso, etc. At the same time, prices have also increased. We wish you much success!
