The food was amazing and the staff made a fascinating job, excellent service, superb food 🙏 10/10

The burgers were great, but unfortunately the ketchup and mayo (for fries etc) had no taste at all...the explanation was that they were vegan. Please correct this, vegan doesn't have to mean no taste, a little salt would probably help. Same with the avocado feta dip. As I said, burgers are great! ☺️

The food is good but I find it very expensive for a self-service restaurant. The staff is very dry, you shouldn't ask much. The seating is just that. Not comfortable at all,...

The best burgers in all of Nuremberg!

The burgers taste delicious, but are not cooked through. When asked about it, it is said that it was intended that way. However, it would then be a good thing to inform customers about this, either on a notice board or verbally when ordering. The staff is hypothermic and we didn't feel well. The price is clearly too high for a self-service restaurant.

A little detour today to the namesake 😅✌🏼. A dozen burgers plus sides to choose from. The saying “less is more” is definitely true here! 👍🏻 All variants looked very tasty based on the contents. We decided on the "Hempels" (logical...) and the "BBQ", with fries, coleslaw and drinks. In short: absolutely great!!! In detail: The burgers were so big that they were filling on their own. Everything is made fresh, with fresh ingredients and a lot of skill in the kitchen. And the composition of the burgers was delicious. The ambience is very appropriate. Real wooden benches and other furnishings, bar and kitchen... that has burger flair! Definitely noticed! When we're in town again, we'll stop by again!

Awesome burger spot! Order at the counter, and police your table through the wall opening. Vegan burgers were fabulous, as were the fries. Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 of our meat burgers were cold and red in the center, so couldn’t be eaten.

Rustic style, self-service, lovely, cool kitchen staff and the best thing is the burgers! Nowadays you hardly get anything exceptionally good when it comes to burgers, but here the taste is right, the portion is large and the price is fair. Just like the meat is fair meat. Best burger place! Forget Peter Pane, Burger Hearr etc!

There was a bit of a mess when it came to serving out the food. We still got our food. The food is a dream.

Fair meat, homemade sauces, fast and friendly. The familiar and informal atmosphere with self-service completes the whole thing.

We got burgers which were amazing. The place had really nice ambiance with wooden tables and great music. We went during early lunch hours which made us the only customers at the time but that was also kind of enjoyable in its own way.

A burger that is absolutely worth the money! Great quality of meat and a very good size of the burger. Who had the Hempels and the Gönn-Dir-Burger, both were excellent. An interesting & charming atmosphere. There are also various offers, special burgers and promotions. The trip to this little shop is 100% worth it!

Delicious burgers with apparently great quality, also vegan on offer. The price is also fair and justified. The restaurant is a bit hidden on the corner of a house and I found it online via Google. Preferences were a good rating (at least 4 stars), price per person 10-20 euros and parking nearby, which was available in a parking garage about 300 meters away (we came from out of town). We ordered the Gön Dir Burger, the globetrotter and a portion of fries, for 2 adults and a toddler and very full

The cheeseburger was very good, good quality meat and good cheese. You can reconsider the price of a burger with fries at just under €20 and that with self-service.

Cozy little burger shop with very tasty burgers. Not exactly cheap, but worth every single cent for what you got to eat. Can't wait for my next trip to Nuremberg to treat myself to one again.

Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good reviews. The burgers were anything but good - no seasoning, meat not cooked through,... All in all we were disappointed.

So we came here on a recommendation. It's self-service here and the ambience might need a bit of polish. The burgers were amazing, we had cheeseburgers and chili cheese burgers with jalapenos and cross-fried bacon. The meat was of good quality and so was the burger bun. Fresh ingredients it was a pleasure. Price-wise, completely okay. The chef was also very nice.

The burger itself was okay. It was just too much of a good thing. I tried the halloumi burger and unfortunately I couldn't taste any of the halloumi itself because of the balsamic onions. It was also quite expensive... we paid 40 euros for two burgers and two drinks.

Burger was interesting, but too overloaded - you can't taste the individual ingredients that are on it... Fries are great, the ketchup unfortunately took a lot of getting used to. Unfortunately it's completely self-service, then a good 25 euros for a burger, fries and a small drink - that's too expensive even these days... Interior not so nice, but the front of the house is even nicer.

Super tasty, price completely right, friendly staff!

Unfortunately for the price of 26 EUR including a drink it wasn't as good as hoped. Patty was not medium rare but raw and cold. Tomatoes totally mushy, avocado feta cream absolutely tasteless and poorly combined with the mango curry sauce. It's a shame actually.

Unfortunately, the burger won't be able to keep up with the big ones. I think the main reason is the size and the cluttered nature. You can taste everything, but together it's difficult because of the volume and you simply can't get the perfect bite. As a result, the meat no longer comes into its own as it should. The flesh also appears strongly formed and relatively hard and slightly rubbery. The burgers also release a lot of liquid. Unfortunately, the chef was a bit unfriendly or sympathetic to me.

Had a vegetarian burger with a seitan patty. Delicious in itself. The patty was unfortunately very hard and dry and would definitely be better. According to my blackheads, they can eat meat

Chic atmosphere and very tasty burgers

Absolute recommendation! The self-service concept works well, very friendly staff behind the counter. My colleague 'lost' the burger on the way out - it was immediately replaced free of charge, which is not a given. Price/performance is absolutely right - great quality, short waiting time, everything tastes well balanced and large portions. Worth a recommendation!

It used to be the best burger in all of Nuremberg, but unfortunately the quality has declined somewhat for some time. Don't know if it's due to new operators or just new staff, but the taste here was much, much better! Burger still solid, but unfortunately not anymore.

Have been here several times, but unfortunately the new burgers (especially the vegetarian ones) are no longer as good as before since the menu change. My friend ordered a Spicy Greek in vegan, which ended up being a normal Burgen for €4 more. Unfortunately, the staff didn't point this out to us and weren't very accommodating.

The burger tasted good and the portion was also large. There is no service as it is self-service, but the staff is friendly and works quickly. The ambience is simple but nice, everything fits together, but there are few seats inside. The evening was nice and the food was good.

My family and I have been going to Hempels in Goho regularly for many years. because the burgers are extremely good and, in our opinion, stand out in terms of quality from most of the competitors' burgers. The shop's quaint, self-service concept fits well and even when it's busy or a lot of ordered burgers are picked up, the waiting times are okay. We'd love to come back!

Very tasty, big burgers. Good selection: vegan, fair meat etc. . Unfortunately, the fries and wedges tasted like almost nothing, the service was non-existent, and with a large group we had the feeling that we were a nuisance. Reasonably priced for a good burger.

Three people with a child ate there. A burger each. Was delicious . Unfortunately you have to help yourself there. The location's facilities are not the nicest. But as I said, it tasted good. Price wise with drinks not something for every day 😁

It's just a small, rustic burger restaurant where you can see the preparation. Met with "Eat the World" and 14 people at the same time. It was definitely a challenge for the chef.

Very, very cool homemade burgers, a bit expensive given the loving selection of ingredients and the elaborate preparation, but completely okay. The seasonal burger was fantastic. However, it is self-service, you have to order at the counter and pick up your food there later. What I didn't like was the furnishings of the dining room - the chairs are too low and the tables are too small for my taste. However, the fantastic burgers will lure me back here, that's for sure

Super delicious! Big burgers, very good fries and a great selection. The only point of criticism is the location, depending on how busy it is, the seating is not that good or very tight. But the food makes up for this point!

One of the best burgers I've ever had. Large portion, great taste. I can highly recommend chilli cheese fries as a side dish - instead of like many other restaurants where a bunch of cheese sauce is carelessly slapped on top, here they also have a TexMex sauce with beans. Very cool.

We were regular customers as a larger group of friends for years and really appreciated the vegan selection and patties. Unfortunately, these were completely deleted and replaced by an unsightly, not particularly tasty alternative. We won't come again in the future. It's a shame that the staff themselves are of the same opinion, but the manager is probably deaf to this ear...

Very good food. Fried to perfection. There are burgers with meat and vegetarian alternatives. There is no service, only self-service. But it somehow makes it feel cozy, like being in your own living room 😉 we will definitely be back.

If you are a person that pays attention to where the good comes from, this place is a great option. All the meat is fair trade, all vegetables bio and they even make their own mayonnaise and ketchup. Burgers are really tasty !

Sehr schönes kleines Burger Restaurant. Kleine aber sehr leckere Auswahl an Burgern und rustikales Ambiente. Das Essen steht im Mittelpunkt und das ist unschlagbar.

Sehr cooles Ambiente und lockere Stimmung, trotzdem professionell und zügig. Gäbe fünf Sterne, doch leider war der Burger allenfalls lauwarm und kühlte auch noch sehr schnell ab. Die Pommes dort sind ein Genuss!

Burger ok, aber nicht wirklich was besonderes . Die Leute , die da arbeiten, die Chefs auch eher pampig oder mindestens desinteressiert. Die zwei Sterne gibt's nicht wehen Selbstbedienung, sondern weil man sich da nicht wohl fühlt. Und von Ambiente kann auch nicht die Rede sein. Ne, kann man hin, hat man aber auch nix verpasst.

Was soll man sagen, wenn es einfach perfekt war. Eine Lokalität die genau meinen Geschmack getroffen hat. Das Ambiente eher rustikal aber genau mein Ding. Vielleicht Studenten-Like? Schwer zu beschreiben. Einfach zum wohlfühlen. Das Essen ist aber der Knaller. Geschmacklich echt Mega. Burger in verschiedenen Variationen und Größen (auch Veggie) zu soliden Preisen. Preis-Leistung ist top. Ein Laden ohne schnick-schnack. Ehrlich und authentisch. Ein must-have in Nürnberg Gostenhof. Gerne noch ein paar mal.

Fantastische Burger. Hier ist alles selbstgemacht. Die Saucen, die Brötchen…. Die Portionen sind für den großen Hunger gemacht. Die Pommes kann man sich also locker teilen. Eine absolute Empfehlung

Hipper Burgerladen mit wirklich guten Burgern und Pommes. Service kann ich nicht bewerten, da Selbstbedienung an der Theke. Fürs Warten gibt es dann einen Gäste-Pager. Sitzt man innen, kann es durch die Warteschlange schon etwas eng am Tisch und auch laut werden. Die Plätze außen sind dagegen genial. Ein wunderschöner Platz mitten im trendi Gostenhof. Die Getränkeauswahl (SB) ist im Ordnung. Preise etwas über dem Durchschnitt, es gibt allerdings tägliche Sonderaktionen.
