Great restaurant, unfortunately Cuba isn't the way I like it. The lime needs to be “squeezed” a little 😊

I visited this Gasthof in 1982, just after I had entered the US Army. I was on winter survival training that also coincided with Fasching! My very first! The food was absolutely amazing the festival was brilliant I didn’t know what was going on! Two ladies came up to me and started painting my face and kissing me. I immediately knew that I loved Germany. I spent the next twenty years in Germany and would still be there if not for the needs of my father who desperately needed someone to help him, he was getting old as we all will. What I wanted to say besides a great time…. There was a Helles Hefe that had a light Geschmack of pumpkin! Absolutely loved that Bier. Had it only one time but have Never forgotten the taste. Anyway, great job everyone! I loved my time with your people and miss Germany greatly!! Tschuss!!!!

We were there for dinner. The pizzas were OK, a little "wet" in the middle... unfortunately we had to leave some leftover at the end. We were satisfied with the service itself, the waitress was very nice!

No matter whether in the restaurant or by ordering/picking up. The service and the food are simply great.

Here in berchtesgaden from Texas. They don't speak much Englisch here but they do just fine.. Fantastic food and service! Get the hunters schnitzel it's amazing! Especially if your from out of town!

Wasted an hour on poor service， twice

We ate at Watz three times this year and it was excellent every time. Everything is just right here. The service is great and the food is so delicious 😋 I love the spaghetti prawns 😍 We say “thank you” for the wonderful and delicious time in the Watz. If we return to Berchtesgaden, we will definitely also go to the Watz 🫶🏼

This evening we went to the “Bavarian Pub” WATZ for a beer and something to eat. Met up with an old colleague of my friend. I had the Ćevapčići plate and my friend had Pizza Dello Chef to eat. Both were very tasty! The service was very nice and always looked after its guests. The ambience was also really cool, especially the WATZ above the bar was really cool. I can definitely recommend WATZ! :)

There were two of us there for dinner and the food was at the table quickly and tasted very good. Service was top.

Food was just a pizza that needed some more. It was great, we wanted to share it and it came already shared on two plates👍 The music bothered us because it wasn't our favorite music (tastes are different) so we left sooner. Otherwise it was clean and nice. You can also sit outside😁

We went there for dinner on a Sunday evening. The ambience inside is very nice. It is very loud outside because of the street, but that didn't bother us. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The selection of drinks was varied and the service was also good. Price-performance was definitely right. Is absolutely recommended. 👌

Went there for dinner with our children today. The food is a dream, the waiter is simply great. Some restaurants in the area could take a lesson from this. In any case, we would recommend it and we are already looking forward to our next evening there.

The perfect restaurant for extremely hungry hikers! Everything happened super quickly, the staff was very nice and the food tasted great! Very comfortable both outside and inside.

I can only recommend it. Service was absolutely great, we were there on the first day we arrived and ate and felt very comfortable. On the last day we were there again and the owner knew straight away what we wanted to drink, so you can tell that someone is passionate about their job. The food is super super delicious. And the price performance is also mega. I was really happy to leave a good tip and was very happy to have been there 😌

Fresh store, value for money is very strong for the area, the food is outstanding. Remember to bring cash, as the WATZ Pub does not accept cards. If this is introduced, the service will also be 5/5 🦾

Service was friendly and competent. The food was good. The offer includes typical Bavarian dishes, but also pizza and pasta. A large video screen played clips that doubled as the room's ambient music. But you probably won't see that in the next room.

Once and never again. Apparently no one cares whether vacationers are satisfied or not. Can only advise against everyone. I ordered pasta, but I couldn't eat it because it was so salty. My wife couldn't eat them either. We returned them, saying they were too salty. Still on the bill. We asked why we should still pay for it, and the innkeeper just smiled and said the noodles were completely okay - everyone in the kitchen had tried them. I just smiled and paid the bill, I don't want to ruin my vacation with something like that. Not again in this restaurant.

The food was good but not much, so we had to go to Burger King afterwards. The service staff was overwhelmed. After a long wait, a beer. After ordering the second one, it still didn't arrive after waiting almost an hour. But when asked further, it took a long wait.

The waitresses were unfriendly and incompetent. The food was unacceptable for the price given. The wait was endless without complaint. The portion size was far too small, so we had to go for a burger king afterwards. All in all, a tragedy.

Food is always good and plentiful, beer is good anyway, service is very friendly. Great ambience, good music.

Delicious food, cozy friendly service, a secret tip for good food

Nuiva-looking waiters. We visited the place on two nights. The first time, the beers were delivered when ordered. But the second time they would have taken food as well. In this case, we probably sat at the table for 20 minutes without the waiters coming to ask about the order, even though there was no traffic jam. In fact, there were hardly any waiters to be seen, but they were loitering behind the counter and in the kitchen chatting with each other. We then left completely when there was no service.

Great restaurant at Berchtesgaden train station. Service was friendly. Drinks and food came very promptly. Tasty, portion sufficient. Unfortunately you cannot pay by card. A no go in a tourist area these days.

We only had something to drink on our first evening and were so impressed by the atmosphere that we went there for dinner the next day. All I can say is: Go and eat and drink. Good selection, large portions and the price-performance ratio is right. There's also nice service...keep it up 👌

Delicious good food at a fair price

The portions are huge and delicious. Unfortunately, it has also been noticed here that a menagerie is no longer served with a salad. But the price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

Sehr gutes Essen. Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Leider nur Barzahlung. Mussten nochmal zum Bankautomaten, daher ein Stern Abzug. Kommen jedoch gerne wieder

Wir waren 2 Tage in Berchtesgaden für einen Kurztrip und haben gleich zwei mal hier gegessen. Echt schickes Ambiente. Nette Bedienung und die Preise sind auch angemessen.

Super gemütliche Location in tollem Ambiente mit sehr leckerem Essen, Riesenportionen (schön angerichtet) zu einem echt fairen Preis. Nette, gastfreundliche Wirtsleute. Wir kommen definitiv in unserem nächsten Berchtesgaden Urlaub wieder!!

Immer mal wieder gern im Watz, weil das Essen wirklich lecker ist, Preis - Leistung einfach passt und die Bedienung stets freundlich und bemüht ist. Fazit - absolut empfehlenswert.

Ein Restaurant direkt neben dem Bahnhof und gut zu erreichen. Die Speisen sind gut und ausreichend. Preislich liegen sie ebenfalls in einem normalen Rahmen. Alles in allem ganz in Ordnung.

Sehr gutes Essen und dazu noch perfekt angerichtet. Der Spieß kommt auf einer eigenen Halterung mit Holzbrett. Lediglich die Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße mit enormen Verkehrslärm stört beim gemütlichen sitzen im Außenbereich.

Had a wonderful time at Alps Bowling Restaurant! Friendly staff, cozy ambiance. In Germany, the best place I’ve seen is this cafe-bar. They have the world’s best and friendliest bartender working here. Although I didn’t have a chance to eat, they serve fantastic cold beers. The place is immaculately clean.”

Nur durch einen Zufall, da es regnete und wir den Bus verpasst haben kamen wir in das Watz und wir müssen sagen, es war der Hammer. Der Balkanteller war besser wie bei jedem Kroaten und die Spaghetti mit Oktopus und Muscheln waren so lecker wie frisch vom/am Meer. Noch dazu beides riesen Portionen und preiswert. Absolut zu empfehlen !

Leckeres Essen (Currywurst-Pommes) und leckere selbstgemachte Limos... Service sehr zuvorkommend.

Ein junges frisches Wirtshaus oder eben ein bayrisches Pup ohne das traditionelle zu vergessen. Ein schöner Bar bzw Tresenbereich Großer Bildschirm für Fussball oder andere Sportevents. Letztens liefen schon Vorbereitungen für ein abendliches Musik - Disco - Tanzevent. Eine grössere Räumlichkeit für Feiern gibt es auch und das alles im geschichtsträchtigen Bahnhof von Berchtesgaden. Also ich bin gerne Gast dort.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen kam sehr zügig trotz guter Belegung. Der Balkanteller war „sauguad“. Ein großes Lob an die Küche. Wir werden euch gerne weiter empfehlen und wieder kommen.
