Cozy courtyard and inside, service was very friendly! The quality of the food was okay, absolutely edible, but nothing more for us. We don't think we'll go back, but it's definitely worth a try.

I was there around 5 p.m. or so, before the kitchen had even opened. They were offering food from the buffet, though. The knuckle of pork with cabbage and potato salad cost me €25. Everything was delicious, and the knuckle was huge—I couldn't finish it all.

The pork trotters are braised and then grilled. The pork is suitable for Europeans. The taste is relatively strong but very tasty. The meat does not look old and the pig skin is crispy. The restaurant itself is a brewery that existed in the 17th century. Their beer can be said to be quite good and relatively affordable. The decoration inside the store is simple and the service is warm and thoughtful. Recommended

We arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and still got delicious food and very friendly service.

It was our first time there, and the service was good and very friendly. The menu was so-so, but it didn't really appeal to me. We opted for the grilled cutlet, which was excellent, but the fries were a shame. It's worth going once, but that's about it.

We were in Salzburg the week before and didn't get around to trying this Austrian specialty. We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for something to eat for dinner and perhaps a chance to try Salzburger Nockerl (Salzburger Nockerl). The main courses, ranging from goulash to the super-delicious Bierochsen (beer ox), were incredibly delicious, but the Nockerl (nockerl) were the highlight. We felt very comfortable here, and the waiters were always attentive and polite. If we're in the area again, we'll be back.

The brewery in Berchtesgaden is nicely located, but didn't meet my expectations of a typical Bavarian brewery. I was hoping for a rustic, Bavarian atmosphere with waiters in traditional costumes, but instead, the wait staff was international, and the Bavarian tradition didn't really come across to me. If you just want something to eat and drink, this is the place for you, but anyone looking for Bavarian coziness will be disappointed.

This was a very good place many years ago. Now we've been disappointed for the second time. The beer is still very good. The dumplings and cheese dumplings were good. The Leberkäse (liver sausage) and knuckle of pork were less than satisfying.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Upon arrival, one of the waiters didn't even manage to say hello. The other at least made an effort. The drinks were good. The food, unfortunately, wasn't good. The roast pork was beyond greasy, and the sauce couldn't really be called a sauce; it was more like a greasy broth. We also had a beer garden pizza, which was dry as hell and barely had any toppings. Some of the cutlery was still dirty. The table next to us asked the waiter about it, and he told us that they don't polish cutlery there. It's a shame; we were really looking forward to it.

The food was a bit dry and quite salty, but still quite good. The beer, however, was delicious. The guy behind the food counter was super nice and friendly, but the guy serving the drinks/beer was definitely not friendly and quite rude to everyone who came in. If it weren't for the guy serving the food, it would have been 1 star for service.

I really liked the interior of the Bräustüberl. We sat in a quaint back room. The service was good, but none of us enjoyed the food. I was so looking forward to the Bavarian cuisine, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. A lot of money for nothing.

The food was as hearty and delicious as expected! Very friendly service. A slight deduction is that the Sunday special advertised online isn't available all day; this should be changed. The price was still reasonable, though. A bit of background music on the terrace would also have been welcome, but that's a matter of taste, of course.

The Bräustüberl is located on the grounds of the Hofbräu brewery in Berchtesgaden. They offer a wide selection of food and drinks (not just beer), and I really enjoyed the food served. The beer tap serves beers from the Berchtesgaden brewery. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and service is prompt. I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to the Bräustüberl.

The atmosphere on the local evening was very good. I felt the pork knuckle didn't have enough sauce or dumplings. Service was also relatively slow, but that was due to the high volume of guests. Still a lovely evening!

It was no problem finding space for 12 people that evening. The food was delicious, even if some of it was served in a hospital-style setting.

Drink prices are the same as everywhere else in the area. Food: Roasted crusts, fried potatoes, and salad all for €8.90 (!). Seating is available in the courtyard.

We went there on a Friday evening without a reservation. It was quite busy, but we barely had to wait. The server was super organized and friendly. He didn't seem stressed at all. You can also buy Flözinger souvenirs there (glasses, bags, etc.). Parking is best outside or in a parking garage. Or you can come by train, as you can also sample the entire (I think) Flözinger range here. :)

We ate a very tasty knuckle of pork there and were served very friendly.

We were there again for a pork knuckle dinner. And it was wonderful again. A year later, the same feeling!

Their kitchen was closed when we arrived at 3pm but they still had really nice already cooked food options like sausages, roast pork, chicken and a whole lot of salad options. You pay by weight of the dish, price was really good for the amount you get. Would definitely recommend.

What a disgrace. They advertise that they serve white sausage with beer for breakfast on Sundays. When we arrive today, the sausage is gone. No alternative is offered either. The waiter says nothing further. We left

Well this is a complete rip-off, on the website there is a huge offer for the entire Sunday Schweibebraten package for 12€. We set off from Königsee to eat a delicious roast pork in the Braustüberl with a delicious beer. We were there at 3pm. But the Jellner says it's not open again until 5.30pm. Does something like that happen? In our area we also get food when the restaurant is open. Well, maybe not usual here in Bavaria but the website said it's open all day Sunday. We travelled 5km just for the food and left hungry. We drank beer anyway and the waiter was friendly too.

We were there on two days to eat knuckle of pork. On Friday, it was freshly prepared and hot. It's best to be there around 5:30 p.m. when it's straight from the grill. The same applies to the roast pork, both of which are delicious and plentiful. A lot of things are kept warm, like meatloaf, roast sausages, etc., in a glass display case. It's not really our thing, so check the time. The staff are polite and attentive. The room is comfortable and clean. The restrooms, whether male or female, are in dire need of renovation.

An excellent brewery restaurant with authentic Bavarian cuisine and outstanding beer – a place you definitely shouldn’t miss when visiting Berchtesgaden.

Very tasty service and good food

Unfortunately, the anticipation was disappointed. Unfortunately, the knuckles were very fatty and some of them were not cooked through. When we mentioned this, all we could hear was oh dear. We're not sorry, or an espresso or anything like that. What a shame!!!!!

Actually a nice atmosphere. The buffet looks terrible. We had two fried chicken, the breast was completely missing. Looked like chicken pieces from the frozen food compartment. In addition, potatoes declared as potato salad with vinegar and oil. It could have been served nicely. Beer was good, food in every chip shop was better and cheaper! Luckily we stopped at the Golden Bear for dinner, which saved the last day of our vacation!

Everything was good and highly recommended, just a little noisy.

It was stuffy and warm. The meal took 45 minutes despite a group of 4 people. People who came after us were served before us. Furthermore, the currywurst wasn't cooked through and the sauce didn't taste that good. There was only half a potato with the chewy kettle goulash. Despite this, a friendly waiter.

The place is an old brewery, there are several parts in the complex, when we arrived only the inner part was working Inside there are dishes that you can immediately take and eat and there is also a rich menu We ordered a special dish of pork parts with potatoes and a salad on the side which was very tasty And the schnitzel dish was delicious! Unfortunately, the Thursday buffet wasn't one in the true sense... you also had to pay extra for knuckles and salad... it wasn't announced beforehand... yes, and then the bill comes... surprise... well, the locals know about it.

I've been coming here for years and have never regretted it. The staff is great and friendly. The food is always as you would expect. Always happy.

Super good semolina dumpling soup and the other dishes were also very good (giant schnitzel 😊). There are always offers - today for example 3 white sausages, pretzels, 1/2 beer for around 12 euros - really great 👍🏻 The service has always been super friendly and very helpful.

We were there with a small group. The drinks are good, the waiter is friendly. Only the tarte flambée is not what you would expect: there was no sour cream and instead of bacon there were shreds of ham on the wafer-thin dough. The atmosphere is quaint, but in my opinion not really comfortable.

A wonderful, rustic restaurant with delicious food and, of course, great beer. The service was extremely friendly and the prices are reasonable. We'd love to come back!
