Tolles Hotel in ruhiger Lage in den Bergen, hervorragendes Frühstück, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, das einem das Gefühl gibt, herzlich willkommen zu sein und sich um alle Wünsche kümmert. Wir haben außerdem einen Rabattgutschein für das Eagle Nest erhalten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Seid Jahren Stammgast, bei jedem Urlaub. Waren noch nie enttäuscht, essen immer spitze. Die Bedienung immer freundlich.

Die Gemüsepfanne war eindeutig nicht frisch sondern aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Das Lüngerl war überwürzt. Die Bedienung bemüht. Insgesamt können wir es jedoch nicht empfehlen.

Wir hatten Leber mit Bratkartoffeln. Die Leber war tot gebraten, die Bratkartoffeln haben keine Bratpfanne gesehen. Hatte Magenprobleme danach.

Unfreundliche Bedienungen. Leider haben wir keine Tische für 8 Personen im Außenbereich bekommen, obwohl 8 Tisch frei aber die Bänke hochgeklappt waren. Als wir uns hinsetzten wurden wir nur angeschnauzt, dass da nicht bedient wird und wir sollten bei schönem Wetter in den Gastraum gehen.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung, die Atmosphäre ist in Ordnung, der Service ist mittelmäßig. Aber insgesamt ist es einfach nicht das Beste.

Wir hatten Fisch, der war sehr lecker.

Hervorragendes Essen und außergewöhnlicher Service

Leider waren unsere Erwartungen höher als tatsächlich bei unserem Besuch im Bier Adam. Dort ist leider dank der dicken Mauern nur Barzahlung möglich aber man hat freies WLAN .. sehr kurios. Das Essen hat uns geschmeckt, leider gab es an dem Tag keine Haxe mehr im Bier Adam und somit mussten wir uns alternativ etwas aussuchen. Bezahlen natürlich bar wie schön erwähnt die Rechnung kam auf einem Block geschrieben..keine richtige Quittung..sehr ungewöhnlich.. und leider was uns den Abend nicht besser gemacht hat, waren Hunde in der Wirtschaft.. geht für mich mal gar nicht .. kann ich denn nächstes Mal meine Katze oder mein Pferd mitbringen.. ein absolutes No Go für mich

Das Bier-Adam ist die erste Anlaufstelle, wenn man den Urlaub richtig starten möchte. Das Essen ist hervorragend – von der Vorspeise bis zur Nachspeise. Besonders der Zwiebelrostbraten ist ein absolutes Muss. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl und kommt gerne wieder.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, perfekte Bedienung, ich bewerte es mit „ausgezeichnet“ und empfehle es jedem 👍🏻

Ein weiteres deutsches Restaurant, das nur Bargeld akzeptiert und in der Vergangenheit lebt, indem es keine Kartenzahlungen annimmt.

Sehr guten schweinebraten der Krautsalat weltklasse

Wir waren vor kurzem im Bier Adam in Berchtesgaden essen und leider ziemlich enttäuscht. Ich hatte das Gulasch bestellt. Das Fleisch an sich war gut, aber die Soße war extrem süß und insgesamt sehr stark gewürzt – für meinen Geschmack leider überhaupt nicht stimmig. Als ich die Bedienung freundlich darauf hingewiesen habe, dass mir das Gericht nicht geschmeckt hat, bekam ich nur die Antwort, dass ich dann eben Pech gehabt habe. Das empfand ich als ziemlich unprofessionell und wenig kundenorientiert. Es kann immer mal passieren, dass ein Gericht nicht den eigenen Geschmack trifft – aber der Umgang mit Feedback macht am Ende den Unterschied. Schade, denn die Lage ist wirklich schön, aber Service und Umgang mit Gästen sollten da definitiv besser sein.

Wir haben ganz normal bestellt, alles lief zunächst unspektakulär. Das Essen kam auch zügig: geschmacklich irgendwo zwischen „ganz okay“ und „hab ich nächste Woche wieder vergessen“. Also nichts, worüber man sich groß beschweren müsste – dachte ich zumindest. Dann wurde es spannend. Auf die Frage, ob Kartenzahlung möglich sei, kam die charmante Antwort: „Wir sind hier am Berg, wir haben kein Internet.“ Interessant – vor allem mitten im touristischen Hotspot, wo wirklich jedes andere Lokal problemlos Karten akzeptiert. Aber gut, vielleicht liegt genau über diesem Restaurant ein besonders hartnäckiges WLAN-Schwarzes Loch… trotz ausgehängtem Gäste-WLAN-Passwort an jeder Ecke. Man kennt’s. Die Rechnung? Handgeschrieben auf einem Block. Fast schon nostalgisch. Oder sagen wir: kreativ unbürokratisch. Das eigentliche Highlight kam jedoch mit dem Krautsalat. Mitten beim Essen biss ich plötzlich auf etwas Hartes. Nach kurzem innerlichen Kampf zwischen „ignorieren“ und „lieber doch nicht runterschlucken“, spuckte ich es aus… und durfte feststellen: Es war ein Fingernagel. Ja, richtig gelesen. Ein. Fingernagel. Der Appetit war damit schlagartig nicht nur verschwunden, sondern vermutlich auf Wochen hinaus traumatisiert. Die Reaktion der Kellnerin war mindestens genauso bemerkenswert wie der Fund selbst: „Das kann gar nicht sein, der Koch hat gar keine Nägel.“ Aha. Vielleicht arbeitet er ja mit Telekinese. Auf meinen Hinweis, dass ich gerade einen Fingernagel aus meinem Mund gezogen habe, wurde eher meine Wahrnehmung infrage gestellt als das Problem ernst genommen. Der Nagel selbst wurde dann auch zügig und unauffällig vom Tisch entfernt – vermutlich, um ihn vor weiterer medialer Aufmerksamkeit zu schützen. Die „Wiedergutmachung“: 4 € Rabatt. Begründung: „Der Nagel war ja nur im Salat.“ Natürlich. Dann ist ja alles halb so wild. Fazit: Wer schon immer wissen wollte, wie sich kulinarische Grenzerfahrungen anfühlen, ist hier genau richtig. Alle anderen sollten sich vielleicht ein Lokal suchen, in dem Hygiene nicht als optionales Extra behandelt wird. Ein Erlebnis, das ich so schnell nicht vergesse – leider aus den falschen Gründen.

Das Essen war lecker die Portion war ausreichend von der Menge. Mit Vorlauf einer Reservierung, hat es geklappt mit einem Platz für 2 und Hund. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und traditionell, ist aber nicht so viel Platz.

Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm, das Essen gut und die Bedienung überaus freundlich. Da es ein verschneiter Sonntag war und die meisten Lokale geschlossen hatten, baten wir um heißes Wasser für Tee, und man füllte unsere Tassen freundlicherweise kostenlos mit kochendem Wasser auf.

Wer Schweinsbraten oder Bauernschmaus essen möchte, rate ich davon ab, das in diesem Lokal zu machen. Das Fleisch war hart und ohne Kruste, das Würstchen hat man auch noch irgendwo in der Küche gefunden, das Sauerkraut war ein braunes, verkochtes Etwas, die Soße eine geschmacklose, von Stärke dominierte Pampe, die Knödel waren ok. Ich war extrem enttäuscht und werde in diesem Lokal sicher nicht mehr essen. Das Bier war sehr gut.

Leider kann ich die untenstehenden Bewertungen bestätigen. Nachdem wir endlich Platz genommen und eine Speisekarte erhalten hatten, mussten wir nach der Auswahl unserer Gerichte weitere 15–20 Minuten warten, bis wir bestellen konnten. Wir fragten nacheinander beide Kellnerinnen, ob wir bestellen dürften, jedoch vergeblich. Sie waren sehr ineffizient, trugen maximal zwei Teller in den Händen und liefen oft mit leeren Händen an uns vorbei, was einem Kellner, insbesondere in einem vollen Pub, niemals passieren sollte. Wir hielten es nicht so lange aus wie andere Gäste und gingen nach 20 Minuten woanders hin, um unsere 120 € dort zu lassen. Dort genossen wir ein sehr gutes Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre mit erstklassigem Service.

Leckere gut bürgerliche Küche, Portionen reichlich und eine sehr nette Bedienung

Ganz nett und urig eingerichtet. Das Essen kam schnell und war soweit in Ordnung. Das Lungenhache war allerdings etwas zu pfefferig. Bei den Biersorten hätte ich mir bei dem Namen allerdings etwas mehr Bierauswahl erhofft.

Uriges alteingesessenes Restaurant. Kaiserschmarrn und Germknödel waren sehr lecker :) Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Achtung nur Barzahlung möglich !

Sonntag abends. Fünf Personen. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut und kamen schnell. Dafür waren die Hauptgerichte allesamt ein wenig zu lange auf dem Herd. Wirklich nichts Besonderes, das Lokal war auch eher leer. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Geht besser. Aufgrund der Lage auch eher teurer.

Leider war unser Silvesteressen im Bier Adam ein kompletter Reinfall. Für 35 € habe ich ein Cordon Bleu bestellt – geschmacklich war es eine große Enttäuschung und auch die Präsentation ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Man hatte leider nicht den Eindruck, dass sich in der Küche besonders Mühe gegeben wurde. Gastfreundlichkeit war ebenfalls kaum spürbar, die Atmosphäre wirkte eher gleichgültig als einladend. Ich habe vollstes Verständnis dafür, dass die Preise an Silvester höher sind – aber dann sollte die Qualität des Essens und der Service auch entsprechend sein. Das war hier leider nicht der Fall. Sehr enttäuschend, besonders an einem besonderen Abend wie Silvester.

Saftladen!!!! Ein kurzer unpersönlicher Fingerzeig sagte uns: hier dürft ihr euch hinsetzen. Gaststube war zum Mittagstisch 70% belegt. Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot, die zwei Servicekräfte, liefen allerdings sehr unmotiviert ständig an uns vorbei, ohne das wir eine Chance bekamen, wenigstens ein Bier, gar eine Essensbestellung aufzugeben. Die Devise hier ist: Lieber Gast, ich ignoriere dich jetzt so lange, bis du wieder gehst!!! Das taten wir dann auch ohne jeglicher Bestellung und Blickkontakt. Lieber Besitzer dieses Gasthauses, bekommen Sie kein fachmännisch ausgebildetes Personal oder was ist ihre Strategie?

Das Essen war super,es gab ein Hirschkeulenbraten mit Knödel und Blaukraut,die Champignons frisch und Lecker in einer ausgewogenen Sauce,die Bedienung auf die bayrische Art äußerst charmant,gutes Bier,der Preis absolut fair und angemessen,beim nächsten Besuch in Berchtesgaden auf jedenfall wieder.

Trotz vielen freien Plätzen wurden wir unfreundlich abgewiesen um etas zu trinken. Es sei ausschliesslich ein Speiserestaurant, wurde uns mitgeteilt!

Lunch between Christmas and New Year's with our family of four (plus one child). A highchair was immediately available and a table was cleared. The food and drinks were good and tasty. We'd gladly come again!

A cozy Bavarian restaurant with delicious food. We were there during the Christmas season; it was beautifully decorated, we felt very comfortable, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our server was incredibly friendly, the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. We had a lovely evening!

I've rarely had such a bad schnitzel. The breading was so greasy that the oil was even running off the plate.

Unfortunately, we visited the restaurant at the end of the season for dinner. We waited to be shown to a table, but even after repeated inquiries, we received no response... what a pity.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to try any of the food, as we were skillfully ignored by both of the staff, who weren't particularly busy. As a guest, you feel like you're not being noticed, taken seriously, or appreciated, but that doesn't seem to be the only thing that matters at the end of the season in Berchtesgaden. After all, after the season is probably before the season.

I enjoyed every minute of this dinner. Very delicious food and the kindest service in the world. 😊

We wanted to stop by at 8:00 PM to end the day and enjoy a leisurely glass of wine. The restaurant was quite busy. When we asked if there was still room for two people who would like to enjoy a glass of wine, the response was completely emotionless: "We're just a restaurant, so why don't you go to the Gasthaus Neuhaus? They have a bar there." So, in all honesty: Thank you for this excellent tip! We're sitting comfortably here with wonderful service and a very comfortable table. Conclusion: We won't be coming back!

It was okay, but my husband's knuckle wasn't crispy, but rather rubbery. My fried potatoes suffered the same fate: they weren't crispy, and neither were the fried onions, which was a shame. The service was very good and pleasant. Perhaps the chef was just having a bad day.

The food was incredibly delicious...gourmet-like. The roast beef with onions was divine, and the dessert was a dream! We'll definitely be back on our next vacation. The waitress was on the ball and super friendly. Please keep it up...

I ordered Viennese pork chop, pasta, fish fillet, and Angus beef salad. Every dish was delicious!!! There is also a Chinese menu, but payment is only in cash.

We ate at Bier Adam on Tuesday, September 22nd, at 5:45 p.m. We've been there several times because the food was good. The food was good again yesterday, but the service was significantly worse. The dark-haired, somewhat burly waitress seemed a bit annoyed. We wanted to order a second drink. I asked if I could have another beer, to which she responded with, "I only have two hands and two feet." After nothing came after half an hour, we wanted to pay, which then took another 20 minutes. So, you can do without service like that.

We ended up here because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. Perhaps it was the first day after the extended closure, but in my opinion, consistent quality is to be expected. First of all, the two waitresses were friendly and hard-working, but unfortunately, two waitresses were simply not enough for the entire place. Some customers simply got up and left due to the lack of service, as some had to wait a long time for drinks or a greeting, while others stood around for a long time without being spoken to. Furthermore, requests such as a little more Sprite in their shandy or a dark shandy were not accommodated. The food itself was delicious, but my shank was only lukewarm and the skin was flabby and almost impossible to slice or eat. My wife's schnitzel, on the other hand, was excellent. The restaurant is beautifully located and has a great old Bavarian charm. Unfortunately, they don't accept debit cards.

We wanted to eat there on September 14, 2025, based on a good recommendation. Unfortunately, due to family reasons, it's closed for a few days (until September 18?).

The food was delicious, but nothing earth-shattering. We felt completely uncomfortable there because of the waitress. She was unfriendly and beyond anti-child! We went in with our 4-month-old baby (he was sleeping in the stroller!!) The first comment: "If you cry, you'll be out." Our toddler repeatedly received nasty looks and comments.

I ordered cheese spaetzle, and I'm very sorry to say it so bluntly, but they were truly the worst cheese spaetzle I've ever eaten. "Not good" would actually be an understatement; I could barely get them down. It wasn't the dumplings themselves; they weren't bad. But the texture was awful, the cheese tasted really disgusting to me, and there was way, way, way too much pepper. I was really looking forward to them because I've never had bad luck with cheese spaetzle, but these were really awful. My friend's meal was okay, but not particularly good. I have nothing but positive things to say about the brown-haired waitress. She was very friendly and accommodating. Even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait too long. However, I wouldn't go back.

Five of us went out to dinner and ordered four different dishes. Everyone was thrilled. Very good quality. Super tasty. Great service. Truly Bavarian. Definitely recommend it.

We actually wanted to reserve a table, but unfortunately, after several attempts, no one answered the phone. Since the reviews were so good, we went anyway, really looking forward to the food. When we entered the restaurant, there was no one around, so we sat down at a table outside, hoping someone would serve us. Unfortunately, even after a long wait, no one came. We left disappointed. It was a real shame, because we were really looking forward to the visit.

Today we planned to visit this oldest beer hall, eat there, and of course, drink some beer. Unfortunately, we sat there for 40 minutes, and the waitress came over twice and asked us if we wanted something to eat. We said yes each time. Unfortunately, we never saw the menu. After almost an hour, we left without eating or drinking anything. (It wasn't like all the tables were occupied!) Well, Tempo isn't a tissue!!! Conclusion: Probably the oldest, but also the slower, beer hall! I can't say anything about the quality of the food, UNFORTUNATELY!

A highly recommended, rustic, traditional restaurant. The beer is delicious, as is usually the case in Bavaria, and the food is tasty. Located right in the shopping center, it's impossible to miss. It's worth a visit.

Conditional service. The waitress frequently sent guests away who were sitting on the benches. Luckily, I was sitting in the "right" seat and got my yeast dumpling. It tasted good to okay. While I was still drinking, I paid, and as I was leaving, I was told that there were already guests waiting for my table!! I then told the guests that they were welcome to sit with me until I finished my drink. The guests then said, "No, just drink in peace," but I couldn't drink in peace, since guests would just wait until I was finished. I've never experienced anything like that before. Not hospitable!

We got in without a wait for lunch on a weekday! I ordered grilled lamb with mushroom sauce and haksse, but the haksse had a few undercooked parts, which was a bit disappointing. ㅠㅠ The lamb was absolutely delicious and incredibly tender. For drinks, I ordered a Radler and a Helles, and both were delicious. :) I think this is a restaurant worth visiting at least once.

My pork knuckle was quite dry and salty. The portion was also smaller than the local competition. If you like spicy food, you'll love it. The service was very friendly and attentive. We felt comfortable.

The waitress was very nice and attentive. The ambiance is also nice. However, we found the portions (Wiener Schnitzel) very meager. There was no salad either, neither on the plate nor on a small separate plate. At almost €18 for a small portion of fries and a regular schnitzel, it's way too expensive.

Accueil chaleureux, il n’y avait plus de place en terrasse, nous avons dîné à l’intérieur et la salle est agréable. Côté assiette nous avons choisi la truite ou plutôt l’omble chevalier qui s’est révélé être un bon choix. Seul défaut : un peu trop salé par endroit. Un de nos amis avait opté pour un plat à base de porc et s’est également régalé.

The food was delicious. The ox soup with liver dumplings was truly wonderful 👍🏻 and I have to honestly say, I can't understand the comments about the waitresses at all. The two ladies who served us last night were very nice, attentive, and cheerful. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we still managed to get a table for two. I still recommend making a reservation! The atmosphere is very cozy, traditional, and not a lot of space.
