The food was ok, the service in the very busy pub was very good!

The oldest inn in Berchtesgaden. Good dishes, good beer, friendly waitresses who immediately warn you that they only accept cash payment.

We would have liked to have a drink with Adam, but the waitress cleverly ignored us. The family behind us and the couple next to us felt the same way. It's a shame because the food here is actually great

A really great restaurant right in the pedestrian zone. We had a farmer's feast and a white sausage burger - delicious and great portions! Great value for money 👍 Photos are so pink because of the awning 😊

After a short wait we were allowed to take a seat. The friendly waitress took the order quite quickly. The grilled knuckle and tagliatelle with chili were very tasty.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere. However, you should bring some time. Despite the stress, one of the service staff was always friendly, but her colleague was having a bad day...

Unfortunately not satisfied. Food mediocre, service not really at work. It's a shame that only the name counts.

We had a nice lady who served and advised us. The dishes were all delicious.

Food was very good. However, it really bothers me that you are not allowed to pay by card, which in my opinion is outdated and customer-unfriendly. The small card says that card payments are not possible at the moment and we ask for your understanding. No, I haven't, because this is always on the note on the table and so "not possible at the moment" is simply a lie, you don't have any device for card payment at all (this was confirmed when asked). To be honest, you don't want to pay by card. (If card payment is not possible, I only give a maximum of 3 stars because of customer unfriendliness.)

Lots of choice, large portions and very good and tasty food for a very good price. The waitresses are attentive, very friendly and also have funny sayings. Highly recommended, especially as a holidaymaker in the area.

The four of us were outside on the terrace and had a little something to eat and drink. The service was very nice and funny. The food was very tasty and hot. When I went to the toilet I took a look at the beautiful and rustic restaurant. We can really recommend this restaurant 😄

Asked for an English menu, brought one and never came back. I won't be going here again. Update. They tried to get this review deleted. Sitting defamation, but it was my experience and my opinion. If you want to change people's opinions, I might listen and read.

Always worth a visit. Food first class. It is still cooked fresh from scratch. The sauces are not a convenience product, as the roast “gets to know” the sauce while braising and not just when it is served on the plate. For us, it's always a must at the beginning and end of our vacation. Or simply put, whenever BGD is due

The food is highly recommended! The outdoor location in the city of Berchtesgaden is very nice, unfortunately I can't say anything about the inside. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Highly recommended and gladly again!

Ready-made sauce and dumplings out of the package for €18, well, not exactly what I mean by traditional Bavarian cuisine.

Completely uninterested in me and my family as guests. The hostess seemed very uninterested in us; for example, I had to ask three times whether we would still receive the wine we ordered. In the end I asked for the bill which turned out to be wrong. To top it off, the owner has asked Google to remove my review because my honest review is being dismissed as gossip.

Waited over 40 minutes for service. After 45 minutes of waiting, we as a group decided to leave.

I had the knuckle. The dumplings gave the impression that they were convenience products. The crust on the knuckle was not a crust but hard and chewy. I think it's a shame that such food is offered in Berchtesgaden, with so many guests eating locally. I will steer clear of Beer Adam in the future. This is my personal experience and my opinion! I am very sorry. After 30 minutes in an extremely overheated dining room, we were unnoticeably not served. Admittedly the store was full… but the table next door was accommodating their orders before us. We were able to help all of the waitresses as well as hand out the food, which looked really delicious, but not a single one could come to our table.

On a small paper - in case you read it- they say that you Cannot pay by card at the Moment. We asked why and they answered that the walls are to Thick for the signal. The other waitor Said, that it is usual for years to pay cash. Incredible. This is Germany in 2024. we left the Restaurant without taking anything.

Unfortunately we were not able to change our order although the waitress made a mistake with our food. The food didn’t served at the same time and the waitress was not polite which made things worst.

Came here on our final night in Berchtesgaden and loved it. Food was excellent and homely. Service was great, a bit on the slow side, but we were happy to wait and enjoy the scenery. Would definitely come back.

Wir wollten im Biergarten nur ein frisches Helles trinken. Wir wurden aber aus dem Gasthaus komplementiert. Die Begründung war, dass dafür zu wenig Plätze vorhanden wären. Es wäre nur in Kombination mit Essen möglich. Meine Frage ist nun: Wo steht das? Der Profit steht im Vordergrund, mehr nicht. Auf Gastfreundschaft wird in dieser Einrichtung kein Wert gelegt.

Always happy, very tasty food, beautifully located. The staff is a little bit crazy, but that's moaning at a high level. And it's a shame that payment is only possible in cash. Many people go further. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent restaurant in the middle of the Berchtesgaden market. Historic building with a lot of history, fantastic cuisine, very nice and extremely friendly staff. Extensive standard menu, seasonal special menu, everything very nicely presented and very tasty. You can tell that the kitchen is still cooking itself! Good value for money, large portions. Very clean and lovingly decorated, special requests are no problem at all when ordering. Really highly recommended

Friendly service. Delicious food from the special menu (dumplings in different variations) we had wild garlic or Kaspress dumplings. A poem. We felt very comfortable, we might come back on vacation if we have enough time. Then let's start with the sweet variants :-)

Very tasty Bavarian cuisine right in the center of Berchtesgaden. When the weather is good, the beer garden is also very well attended. The only flaw: only cash payment possible. However, EC machines can be reached within a few hundred meters.

Sat down and ordered drinks, hostess came back and took food order for my family of 4. Food was good. Service was slow and hostess was not pleasant. Went to pay by card and guess what? They only take card. She says it’s written right here on specials menu card, which was about a 7x5 card. Now imagine the writing size to put that on there. Not to mention we didn’t look at this as we had the regular menus. I had to get up and go find an ATM. This kind of thing should be told to you when you sit down, not after you finish eating and certainly could have been covered with “here are our specials” card. Hostes says it’s on there website too. Go visit there website and you’ll find it will give you a pop up that says your iPhone has been hacked, click here to etc, etc. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Very nicely located in the pedestrian zone. The nice lady in service seemed like she was having a lot of fun with her job👍The trout was really, really good. Venison goulash is also delicious. I didn't like everything about the dessert variations, but that's a matter of taste. For me the apple fritter was best. Good for 2 with different tastes😉

Einfach sehr gut essen und einen gemütlichen Abend in schönem Ambiente verbringen. Hier wird vom Chef frisch und regional gekocht und von sehr freundlichen Kellnerinnen mi Humor serviert.

Service very friendly, ambience nice and rustic. The beef brisket with horseradish sauce was very good, some of the liver was very soft and the bacon was not well fried with the bacon beans. Leberkäse with a fried egg and potato salad was not good, the egg was still almost completely runny, the potato salad consisted of a lot of spring onions and was very sour/spicy. The question about two bread dumplings with sauce was answered in the negative; these could only be had, for example, with cream mushrooms, in which they ended up swimming in a soup bowl.

Great restaurant where we had lunch last week, my German is not yet up to par but we get by when we have very friendly staff. Excellent food with also a good quantity. Congratulations to the staff, I would love to come back.

We enjoyed goulash soup, cheese spaetzle and a farmer's feast with a few beers...typical food here in the region. It tasted good. We would particularly like to emphasize the friendly service, which is why we gave it five stars, otherwise (for gradation) four stars. We can recommend the inn.

I'm not that easy to convince, but the knuckle was excellently done and the apricot dumplings were amazing! The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. On top of that, the friendly staff makes you feel like you're with friends! Very clear recommendation!!!

Good food..nice restaurant..but no card payment..who asks beforehand if card payment is possible?

At lunchtime there is a good place outside the inn. The staff was very customer oriented. And the food with special requests was implemented very well, compliments to the kitchen. The inside of the guest room is very comfortable and has certainly been modernized. The toilet is also very nice and modern.

We ordered two vegetarian dishes and received them after a short time. Both were really very good. The service was friendly. There are two things to complain about: Salt and pepper are mandatory on every table. And the ugly plastic flowers belong in the trash.

Quaint inn in the middle of Berchtesgaden! The food is really very good. We had onion roast beef and lungs. Both dishes came with a side salad! Prices are okay. A big extra compliment for the service! Always kept an eye on us. Thanks for that! Clear recommendation!

We were there 2 days ago, but will not visit this location again. After 2 days of rest, it seemed as if leftovers had been used: the venison goulash contained 4 pieces of meat, everything else was a thick, indefinable mass, and the spaetzle that went with it was gray and mushy. So - never again.

It's ok, nothing special , Not enough personel

Wat een heerlijke plek om neer te strijken en eventjes te pauzeren tijdens een dagje rondstruinen in Berchtesgaden. Superaardig personeel. Omdat ik een maagverkleining heb, wilde ik samen met mijn man 1 grote porte Kaiserschmarrn bestellen met een extra vorkje. Was geen enkel probleem. Ze wilde zelfs een kleinere portie laten maken, speciaal voor mij. Dat vind ik een ontzettend goede service, want op veel plaatsen is dat niet mogelijk. Toch gekozen om samen romantisch van 1 bord te eten. Smaakte verrukkelijk, echt zoals Kaiserschmarrn hoort te smaken. Wij hebben genoten en zullen zeer zeker hier terugkomen wanneer we weer in de buurt zijn.

War absolut in Ordnung hier. Die beiden Damen vom Service freundlich, kompetent und schnell...Essen gut, Preise moderat, würden sicher wieder kommen!!

Wir hatten 3 Tage zuvor telefonisch reserviert. Beim Betreten des Lokals wurde unser Name nicht mehr auf der Liste gefunden. Zum Glück hat sich noch ein Plätzchen gefunden. Dass im Lokal nur Bar gezahlt werden kann, hätte man bei der Reservierung mit erwähnen können. In vorausschauender Ahnung haben wir glücklicherweise etwas Bargeld mitgenommen. Handyempfang im Lokal gleich Null, WLAN war auch tot. Meine Frau fand Ihr Essen sehr lecker, ich bewerte meins (Bauernschmaus) mit "Gut": Schmackhaft, jedoch nichts, was aus der bayerischen Küche hervorsticht. Die dunkelhaarige Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Ambiente sehr schön. Leider WLAN ohne Funktion. Ansprache der Bedienung auf diesen Makel „hier muss man sich unterhalten „. Schwierig wenn man alleine unterwegs ist und auch noch dienstlich erreichbar sein muss. Handyempfang gleich null. Das Weißbier war gut. Beim Essen hat es der Koch sehr gut mit Salz gemeint. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen. Und empfehlen sowieso nicht.

Wir sind hier auf unserer Stadtbesichtigung eingekehrt. Ein urigen Restaurant mit super freundlichen Personal, das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt und wenn wir mal wieder in Berchtesgaden sind kommen wir wieder.

Waren an Silvester zum Essen hier. Es war phantastisch.

Ich gehe seit über 40 Jahren (schon als kleines Kind mit meinen Eltern) min 1-2x im Jahr hier essen. Bisher war es immer gut. Dirsmal allerdings waren nur 2 von 4 Essen gut. Eins war einwandfrei, das zweite war geschmacklich gut, das Fleisch war top, allerdings schmeckten die Bratkartoffeln ganz genau wie die wie aus dem Paket. Beim 3. Gericht wurden erst Schnitzel gebracht statt der bestellte Weißwurst-Burger. Dann kam ein Burger, aber natürlich der falsche. Auf Rückfrage bei der Bedingung, ob es sich um den Weißwurst-Burger handelt, kam als Antwort nein. Wir hätten schließlich den "Bier-Burger bestellt." Leider nein, wir hatten den Bira Adam Burger bestellt. Sie hatte sogar extra bei der Bestellung nachgefragt.... Lange Rede kurzer Simn wir waren es entschuld wenn sie nicht richhtig zu hört. Das es wenn es voll ist mal etws schiefgehen kann ist vollkommen ok. Aber vom Service bei höflicher nachfrage angapflaumt zu werden und dir Schuld komplett auf den Gast zu schieben geht gar nicht. Auch als wir erwähnt haben, das der Schweinebraten früher besser war (Soße war einfach nur Geleeartig, kam wörtlich : "sehe ich nicht so wir verkaufen davon massig" , und dann wurde uns mit "jaja is schon Recht" beim Versuch zu erklären, was wir damit meinen, immer wieder über den Mund gefahren. Man kann normalerweise alles vernünftig klären, aber sowas ist in 40 Jahren uns dort noch nie passiert. Als ob wir bloßschnell verschwinden sollten, bevor andere was mitbekommen könnten. Dabei haben wir weder gemckert noch lauter gesprochen, nur versucht sachlich zu erklären, das wir sowas dort nicht gewohnt sind. Wir waren zum letzten mal da und das, obwohl es immer eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants in Berchtesgaden war. Der 2 Stern für den Service gibt es nur wegen der 2.Bedienung, diese war freundlich.

Eine Bedienung war sehr nett, die Andere anwesend. Das Essen überteuert und das Brot zur Gulaschsuppe (2 kleine Stückchen Baguette) leider nicht frisch.

Gutbürgerliche Küche. Leider war das Essen nicht richtig heiß, geschmacklich aber okay.

Wonderful experience for lunch while enjoying the magical Berchtesgaden Christmas Market. Service was fantastic and polite, meal was delicious. We will be back September 2024 to enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere.

Der Bier-Adam war ein echtes Highlight an Allerheiligen. Sehr nette Bedienung, wunderbarer Platz an einem sonnigen Tisch vor dem Restaurant mit gutem, bürgerlichen Essen bei absolut fairen Preis. Schon lange nicht mehr so entspannt in einem Restaurant gegessen. Danke !

Ich habe die Gemüsesuppe mit Rindfleisch bestellt und war sehr enttäuscht. Die Bouillon war wässrig, es war Blumenkohl und Brokkoli als Tiefkühlgemüse darin, was kaum zu essen war und ein bisschen Möhre. Das Rindfleisch bestand nur aus fetten Brocken. Wie kann man so ein einfaches Gericht so minderwertig servieren. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, hätte aber krank geschrieben gehört, da sie kaum laufen konnte. Was für Arbeitsbedingungen!
