We wanted to stop by at 8:00 PM to end the day and enjoy a leisurely glass of wine. The restaurant was quite busy. When we asked if there was still room for two people who would like to enjoy a glass of wine, the response was completely emotionless: "We're just a restaurant, so why don't you go to the Gasthaus Neuhaus? They have a bar there." So, in all honesty: Thank you for this excellent tip! We're sitting comfortably here with wonderful service and a very comfortable table. Conclusion: We won't be coming back!

It was okay, but my husband's knuckle wasn't crispy, but rather rubbery. My fried potatoes suffered the same fate: they weren't crispy, and neither were the fried onions, which was a shame. The service was very good and pleasant. Perhaps the chef was just having a bad day.

The food was incredibly delicious...gourmet-like. The roast beef with onions was divine, and the dessert was a dream! We'll definitely be back on our next vacation. The waitress was on the ball and super friendly. Please keep it up...

We ate at Bier Adam on Tuesday, September 22nd, at 5:45 p.m. We've been there several times because the food was good. The food was good again yesterday, but the service was significantly worse. The dark-haired, somewhat burly waitress seemed a bit annoyed. We wanted to order a second drink. I asked if I could have another beer, to which she responded with, "I only have two hands and two feet." After nothing came after half an hour, we wanted to pay, which then took another 20 minutes. So, you can do without service like that.

We ended up here because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. Perhaps it was the first day after the extended closure, but in my opinion, consistent quality is to be expected. First of all, the two waitresses were friendly and hard-working, but unfortunately, two waitresses were simply not enough for the entire place. Some customers simply got up and left due to the lack of service, as some had to wait a long time for drinks or a greeting, while others stood around for a long time without being spoken to. Furthermore, requests such as a little more Sprite in their shandy or a dark shandy were not accommodated. The food itself was delicious, but my shank was only lukewarm and the skin was flabby and almost impossible to slice or eat. My wife's schnitzel, on the other hand, was excellent. The restaurant is beautifully located and has a great old Bavarian charm. Unfortunately, they don't accept debit cards.

The food was delicious, but nothing earth-shattering. We felt completely uncomfortable there because of the waitress. She was unfriendly and beyond anti-child! We went in with our 4-month-old baby (he was sleeping in the stroller!!) The first comment: "If you cry, you'll be out." Our toddler repeatedly received nasty looks and comments.

I ordered cheese spaetzle, and I'm very sorry to say it so bluntly, but they were truly the worst cheese spaetzle I've ever eaten. "Not good" would actually be an understatement; I could barely get them down. It wasn't the dumplings themselves; they weren't bad. But the texture was awful, the cheese tasted really disgusting to me, and there was way, way, way too much pepper. I was really looking forward to them because I've never had bad luck with cheese spaetzle, but these were really awful. My friend's meal was okay, but not particularly good. I have nothing but positive things to say about the brown-haired waitress. She was very friendly and accommodating. Even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait too long. However, I wouldn't go back.

Five of us went out to dinner and ordered four different dishes. Everyone was thrilled. Very good quality. Super tasty. Great service. Truly Bavarian. Definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, I confirm the reviews below. When we managed to sit down and get a menu, we waited another 15-20 minutes after choosing our food to see if we could order it. We asked both waitresses in turn if we could order, but it was unsuccessful. They were very inefficient, with a maximum of 2 plates in their hands and often walked past us with completely empty hands, which should never happen to a waiter, especially in a full pub. We did not last as long as other reviewers and after 20 minutes went to leave our €120 elsewhere, where we had a very good meal in a pleasant atmosphere, with quality service.

We actually wanted to reserve a table, but unfortunately, after several attempts, no one answered the phone. Since the reviews were so good, we went anyway, really looking forward to the food. When we entered the restaurant, there was no one around, so we sat down at a table outside, hoping someone would serve us. Unfortunately, even after a long wait, no one came. We left disappointed. It was a real shame, because we were really looking forward to the visit.

Today we planned to visit this oldest beer hall, eat there, and of course, drink some beer. Unfortunately, we sat there for 40 minutes, and the waitress came over twice and asked us if we wanted something to eat. We said yes each time. Unfortunately, we never saw the menu. After almost an hour, we left without eating or drinking anything. (It wasn't like all the tables were occupied!) Well, Tempo isn't a tissue!!! Conclusion: Probably the oldest, but also the slower, beer hall! I can't say anything about the quality of the food, UNFORTUNATELY!

Conditional service. The waitress frequently sent guests away who were sitting on the benches. Luckily, I was sitting in the "right" seat and got my yeast dumpling. It tasted good to okay. While I was still drinking, I paid, and as I was leaving, I was told that there were already guests waiting for my table!! I then told the guests that they were welcome to sit with me until I finished my drink. The guests then said, "No, just drink in peace," but I couldn't drink in peace, since guests would just wait until I was finished. I've never experienced anything like that before. Not hospitable!

We got in without a wait for lunch on a weekday! I ordered grilled lamb with mushroom sauce and haksse, but the haksse had a few undercooked parts, which was a bit disappointing. ㅠㅠ The lamb was absolutely delicious and incredibly tender. For drinks, I ordered a Radler and a Helles, and both were delicious. :) I think this is a restaurant worth visiting at least once.

My pork knuckle was quite dry and salty. The portion was also smaller than the local competition. If you like spicy food, you'll love it. The service was very friendly and attentive. We felt comfortable.

The waitress was very nice and attentive. The ambiance is also nice. However, we found the portions (Wiener Schnitzel) very meager. There was no salad either, neither on the plate nor on a small separate plate. At almost €18 for a small portion of fries and a regular schnitzel, it's way too expensive.

The two ladies who served us last night were very nice, attentive, and cheerful. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we still managed to get a table for two. I still recommend making a reservation! The atmosphere is very cozy, traditional, and not a lot of space.

AVOID AT ALL COST - disgusted by the waitress mocking and gossiping about us with another customer! 1. Waited too long to be seated - which wasn’t an issue at all and we waited patiently. 2. Awfully rude waitress appearing to be very RACIST - Waitress were quite indifferent in taking our orders, and walked away without even allowing me to complete my request for 2 sets of additional cutlery. As soon as dishes were served, she did not provide us with additional cutlery, I opted for self-help remedy and request for additional cutlery from another older waitress, who was kind enough to allow me to self-help. (Context: 6 of us had ordered 4 dishes and 1 soup to share. Bearing in mind there is nothing in the menu that prohibits sharing, it only states that there is an additional “cover” cost of €2.) There came this rude waitress shouting as I walk out carrying the extra spoon. I’m not sure what the issue was honestly, but she came shouting with the menu insisting that there is additional charge for the cutlery, and there was a whole commotion as we tried to explain ourselves. WE HAD NO ISSUE WITH THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE. I can read English perfectly fine and I did not disagree with the additional charges. 3. Food was salty and not worth the price - unfortunately I did not take any pictures as our experience was awfully ruined. Waitress was making a fool out of us with other customers, laughing and mocking us behind our backs. I have recording of how she raised her voice and continually mocked us, but to leave her some dignity, I will let it pass.

During our evening stroll through beautiful Berchtesgaden, my family and I were thirsty and wanted, as the name "Beer-Adam" suggests, a delicious Hellesbier. The waitress sent us away, explaining that you can't just drink it, only with food. Unfortunately, we had to leave. She also directed us to Brauhaus Neuhaus. We thought that was a real shame...we would avoid this place in the future, even if we wanted to eat. Is that really the owner's intention?

Cozy atmosphere inside – at least if you cover your ears so you don't have to listen to the radio, including all the interviews and traffic reports. The service was initially very nice and friendly, but as it got busier, we saw fewer of them. I eventually managed to get her attention because we actually wanted to order dessert and a second round of drinks. After the nice lady continued to walk around to several other tables, she finally came over to us... slamming her order pad down on the table and writing the bill by hand! We were stunned, saying that we had actually wanted to order more, but that her reaction now made us want to order our dessert at another restaurant. I've never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant!

Die Wartezeit lang - aber das steht auf dem kleinen Zettel auf dem Tisch, also war es für mich ok. Dann kam der bestellt Kaiserschmarrn. Sowas habe ich noch nie gesehen oder gegessen. In Butter oder so getränkt, durch. Keine Ahnung was das war. Keine Empfehlung!

These days, it's outrageous and impossible to accept only cash payments. You're handed a handwritten note with the meal costs. What does that tell us? This place has surely seen the last of us. Tip: Find another restaurant!

The staff was friendly, and we were lucky to be served quickly – unfortunately, the service at the next table was less smooth. The prices are reasonable, the beer is delicious, but I was disappointed with the food. The dishes tasted okay, but only average. I found it particularly disappointing that, despite the rather small menu, a lot of it seemed to come out of a packet – the dumpling wasn't homemade, nor was the sauce. In a region with so much culinary tradition, I would have preferred more freshness and quality. Overall, I felt like I'd landed in a tourist restaurant. German cuisine can be really good, but unfortunately, it wasn't convincingly executed here. I wouldn't go back again.

High prices but below average quality...the wine spritzer has a lot of water in it...the meat in the steak salad was tough and the side dish was old white bread...the answer was that the spritzer had been set by the machine...is that done by God or the boss as the owner? In Neuhaus we got significantly better quality for much cheaper...! Never again for that money...I'd rather have fast food and save 30 euros for a meal for two people...and the quality is no worse...you don't need to go to an expensive restaurant and pay a lot of money for a meal like that.

The food is average, and everything is freshly served. Unfortunately, on my second visit, I discovered that only two women are required to serve all the guests. This resulted in longer wait times for orders, even for simple ones like a drink. Despite everything, they were nice and friendly, and you could tell they weren't standing still.

This was our first time at Bier-Adam. Unfortunately, the food was a complete disappointment. We opted for the Bauernschmaus (farmer's feast), a little bit of everything from Bavarian cuisine. If I'd had this dish at a highway rest stop, I wouldn't have been surprised. Honestly, I expected something different from a Bavarian inn. Ten minutes after ordering, the food was already on the table. And it tasted just like that: kept warm for a long time and bland. The sauerkraut was bad, the dumplings were watery and flavorless, the mini Leberkäse (meatloaf) looked like it was on a child's plate, and the roast pork was completely missing. The fact that the roast pork was missing wasn't even mentioned; only when we asked did we get "Oh, I wanted to tell you." With four people, there were quite a few leftovers on all the plates, and when clearing the table, they didn't even ask if everything was okay. It felt like a mass tourist caterer. Maybe we were just unlucky, but for us, the Bauernschmaus (farmer's feast) was a complete nightmare.

We were there for the first time. Had pork knuckle with bread dumplings and sauerkraut. It was inedible; the meat and sauerkraut were way too salty, and the dumplings had no flavor... Plus, the Coca-Cola tasted stale and lacked any carbonation. And the Aperol Spritz was simply poorly mixed... that's putting it mildly.

Unfortunately, this positive experience is heavily overshadowed by the unfriendly service. The older of the two waitresses in particular are extremely rude and lack any friendliness. The second service person also seems annoyed and not very accommodating. In an inn I not only expect good food, but also respectful and friendly treatment of the guests. Unfortunately that was absolutely not the case here, which is why we decided not to come back. What a shame!

No card payment possible. No longer relevant these days. Information about this was only available on a board in the passage below. I sat outside and didn't get any information. Leaving your ID and getting money from the ATM, which is a 10-minute walk away, is very customer-friendly. Too bad.

Ordered a knuckle and got a rubber foot! The meat was dry and tough and the crust was as tight as a bullet vest. I let half the plate go back because it was inedible. I thought that at the price of €19.80 you would do something yourself, like a coffee on the house 😡. To be honest, he wouldn't have been well served at half the price. Interior pleasant. Service very friendly. Food so-so. Pork knuckle totally dry. Roast pork ok. Bread dumplings in both dishes tasteless and watery in taste - probably more of a convenience product. Bavarian cabbage is probably not known here. Krautalat is also cheaper to prepare, and sauerkraut comes out of the bucket anyway. 1 wine, 1 bottle of water, 1 non-alcoholic beer with the meal = almost €60.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war merkwürdig. Die spinatknödel hatten eine merkwürdige Konsistenz und schwammen in irgendeinem undefinierbaren Fett. Die Bedienung hat das dann auch bestätigt dass das auf keinen Fall Butter war und es hat auch geschmeckt wie Frittierfett. Die hühnerbrust war als solche nicht zu erkennen, es war irgendein plattgeklopftes helles Stück Fleisch in Panade. Höchstwahrscheinlich würde es auch in der friteuse gemacht. Das Ambiente und alles war in Ordnung, sehr nett, aber dort zu essen ist nicht so empfehlen. Wir haben uns dann doch nicht mehr getraut noch ein Dessert zu bestellen.

Good food, lack of organization during busy times

We were there in September. The waitress was very accommodating, everything was on time (it got full quickly at lunchtime) and we really enjoyed the food. Clear recommendation!

Based on the external impression, we expected a rustic old Bavarian inn. The interior is nicely furnished, but with bright tablecloths and modern table lamps, it has a more upscale atmosphere. Food was rather mediocre. Sour Lüngerl was rather sweet, but the potato salad was sour. But that was our taste, maybe someone else likes it just that way.
