Gewaltig gute Fleischpflanzerl, Folienkartoffel mit Hühnerfilet war ok

Ich habe zum Mittagessen einen Burger bestellt, der eine totale Katastrophe war. Das Fleisch war circa 6 cm im Durchmesser und hat noch nicht mal ein Viertel vom Brötchen eingenommen.. Die Pommes waren lauwarm und davon, die Hälfte hart und ungenießbar. Als ich den Ober fragte, ob das alles bei mir seine Richtigkeit hätte, hat er mir ein Brötchen angeboten, was er austauschen möchte.

Ich habe einen Burger bestellt, und es war eine Katastrophe. Das Fleisch hat ein Durchmesser von circa 6 cm und hat noch nicht mal ein Viertel das Brötchen eingenommen, was völlig verbrannt war Pommes waren lauwarm und die Hälfte hart Schade, dass ich kein Foto hier hochladen kann

Das Hofbräuhaus Berchtesgaden ist ein schöner und gemütlicher Ort mit gutem Bier. Ich komme schon seit Jahren hierher. Im Service arbeitet ein etwas kleinerer Mann mit Brille, der selten so unhöflich ist – sowohl zu uns als auch zu anderen Gästen. Er hat offensichtlich wenig Lust auf seine Arbeit und ist immer mürrisch. Es ist wirklich schade, dass ein so schöner Ort durch das Verhalten dieses Kellners derart in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wird.

Man sitzt schön dort und das Bier ist lecker ( auch das alkoholfreie), das Essen aber....Ein 'Fladen' , der als Flammkuchen kam, mit ein paar Stücken Ochsenfetzen, jede Menge rohe Zwiebeln und geriebenen Käse aus der Tüte für €16,80 eine Frechheit. Das Grillkotlett war ok, das Gemüse dazu allerdings verkocht und sehr fettig. Bedienung ging so, nicht sehr freundlich und schwierig ihn mal an den Tisch zu holen. Als letztes angegriffene Speisekarten aus Papier, nicht laminiert, dreckig und fleckig. Alles in Allem eine Enttäuschung und teuer

Der Kellner wirkte überfordert, übersah uns zunächst und brachte dann die falsche Bestellung. Der Leberkäse mit Spiegelei, naja, die Bratkartoffeln teilweise verbrannt und sehr fettig. Der Ofenfladen sehr trocken, es fehlte der Rucola, die Lachsstreifen lieblos arrangiert. Der Kellner anschließend um Schadensbegrenzung bemüht, er stornierte den Ofenfladen.

Gemütlicher Innenhof, freundliche Bedienung, das Essen hat noch Luft nach oben.

Wir wollten seit Jahren wieder in dem Restaurant essen, nach dem ich vor 5-6 Jahren begeistert meine Haxe gegessen habe Ambiente super - wunderschönes Restaurant, tolle urige Atmosphäre Bier war lecker Servicemitarbeiter sehr schnell und freundlich Aber das Essen, absolute Katastrophe. Kein Hauch von bayrischer Kultur , welches man als Urlauber gern hier haben will. Wir hatten den Fladen , was am Ende ein flammkuchen war mit Sau scharfen Peperoni, und 2 Hände voll mit roher Zwiebel. Weiterhin hatten wir die Käsenocken…. Hat wirklich nach nichts geschmeckt, weder Gewürze, noch Zwiebel drin. Dazu ein Salat mit dem harten inneren, den man wegschmeißt und jede Menge Essig. Vielleicht wäre ein regionaler Koch hilfreich und nicht nur Küchenmitarbeiter aus fernen Ländern…

Tatar war aus. Leberkäse mit Spiegelei und Bratkartoffeln 👎. Spiegeleier verbrannt, Bratkartoffeln ungewürzt. Bekommt eine Imbissbude besser hin. Bierochse war okay, der Knödel allerdings sehr fest, der Salat ertränkt in Dressing. Teller sind lieblos angerichtet. Preis-Leistung passt überhaupt nicht. Nicht empfehlenswert!

Ein sehr schönes, traditionelles Brauhaus mit Innenhof und deftigem Essen vom Buffett. Eine nicht teure Zeitreise.

Essen lecker, Kellner sehr freundlich!

Wenn man Hofbräuhäuser mag okay. Als Mensch mit Behinderung eher nicht mein Ding. Lautstärkepegel gerade am Wochenende sehr hoch.

Das Ambiente war okay, hat uns aber nicht wirklich vom Hocker gehauen. Der Service hingegen war super: Unser Kellner war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell.Große Enttäuschung gab es dann leider beim Essen. Der Salat war quasi ungenießbar, weil viel zu viel Essig verwendet wurde. Die Säure war so dominant, dass man vom eigentlichen Geschmack nichts mehr mitbekommen hat. Es ist schade das hier so wenig Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird.

Lachsforelle, Rumpsteak Burger und Nürnberger Würstchen waren sehr lecker. Nico und sein Team haben alle Speisen und Getränke freundlich und trotz starkem Betrieb schnell zubereitet gehabt. Sie waren sehr aufmerksam und haben mehrmals nachgefragt ob etwas fehle und die zusätzlich erbetene Mayo wurde direkt gebracht- klare Empfehlung für weitere Besuche dort !!

Grausliche Kasnocken. Hab jetzt noch Bauchweh. Bier war gut.

Das Bier ist NATÜRLICH hervorragend und der Ochse ist sehr lecker in der ausgezeichneten Biersoße

Traumhaftes Gasthaus mit tollem Essen und das Bier dieser kleinen Brauerei ist dermaßen gut, dass es fast schon gefährlich ist. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und umsichtig.

Urig Bayrisch passt perfekt 🍺👌🏼

Das Hofbrauhaus Bechtesgaden überzeugt vor allem durch seinen sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Leider kann das Essen da nicht ganz mithalten. Geschmacklich war es eher durchschnittlich und hat nicht den Eindruck hinterlassen, dass hier besonders viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Stattdessen wirkt das Konzept eher auf eine hohe Gästeanzahl und schnelle Abfertigung ausgelegt. Insgesamt also ein gemischtes Erlebnis: Top Service, aber beim Essen ist noch deutlich Luft nach oben.

Als wir Ende April dort waren, war es ruhig. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es hier in der Touristenzeit richtig lebhaft zugeht! Das Essen war hervorragend.

Das gebratene Schweinekotelett war schlecht, und der Apfelkuchen war auch schlecht.

Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich, obwohl der Service insgesamt viel zu tun hatte – eine Person wirkte fast etwas zu wenig, um alles abzudecken. Das Bier hat gut geschmeckt, das Essen hingegen leider nicht besonders, wie mein Hotel bereits angekündigt hatte. Insgesamt würde ich nicht noch einmal dort essen.

Sensation für jeden Gulasch-Liebhaber: das feurige Rindswadelgulasch vom Bankhammer! Auch die Kaspressknödelsuppe ist absolut zu empfehlen. Nix schmeckt fad, alles ist gut gesalzen.

Das Haus war proppenvoll , dafür was Service , Essen und Sauberkeit, wirklich gut ! Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Ich war Mitte Mai dort und habe das lokale Bier probiert. Das Essen und die Biere waren ausgezeichnet. Es ist nicht das ausgelassene Hofbräuhaus in München. Das Hofbräuhaus in Berchtesgaden hat eine traditionelle Atmosphäre und einen tollen Service. Ich habe sogar den Eisbock probiert! Wow! Das war ein sehr starkes Bier!

The Berchtesgadener Hofbrauhaus stands for true brewing art and tradition. High-quality, honest beer is brewed here – in my opinion, the best in the entire region. You can sit comfortably inside or outside in the beautiful beer garden and enjoy the atmosphere. The food is excellent, the service friendly and attentive – everything is simply top-notch. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates good beer and Bavarian hospitality!

The first impression was very good. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We were quite surprised by the decor and the fact that, for once, there was no music playing. We found this particularly pleasant; after all, we come to enjoy the food and the ambiance in peace. In our opinion, no music is necessary for this. So, no complaints on this point. We had been looking forward to an authentic and renowned schnitzel experience in Germany, but we were deeply disappointed. After placing our orders, we couldn't wait to see our dishes. The fries were almost soggy, and both of our meats were bone dry. It's a shame, because as I mentioned, the restaurant has enormous potential in terms of atmosphere and experience. We can definitely speak of quantity over quality here.

A tourist hotspot. The service, ambiance, and food are just as good. Neither bad nor particularly good.

Had the half knuckle of pork and it was simply fantastic! The atmosphere was very pleasant and rustic. Friendly guests. The waiter could have used a smile more often 😉 But otherwise, we were all very satisfied with our food and everything else. TOP value for money!

Unfortunately, the food disappointed me. The meat was dry and tough. When I asked the waiter about it, all I got was the reply that the chef had said there hadn't been any complaints so far today, which I found unprofessional. The only positive I can mention is the beer, which was really good. Overall, though, it wasn't a convincing visit.

The Weisswurst breakfast on the weekend is a recommendation

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good; the fried chicken was very dry and didn't seem freshly prepared. The white sausage was okay. The atmosphere was perfect!

German Food and Beer with German music

We were cycling from Salzburg to Berchtesgaden and stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Good food, a cozy beer garden atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommended.

It was getting on in years. A piece of chewing gum was stuck to a menu. Bird droppings were on the bench. The food was lukewarm. The service was inattentive and forgetful. The only bright spots were the beer and the Kaiserschmarrn.

Great food, rustic atmosphere, the waiters are unfriendly, and you get the impression they're only interested in quantity. After the visit, our clothes smelled veeeery of food.

A must-visit for all beer lovers when visiting Berchtesgaden. It may be a bit dated, but it's still iconic, and the beer is delicious.

It was very nice to sit there and drink a cool beer.

The restaurant is open, but the kitchen is only open from 5:30 p.m. It's like giving a dog a bowl but not putting kibble in it. We had eyes like a dog.

We only took a short break and didn't eat anything Tried Eisbock - a very special but delicious beer

Wir ( Paar ) waren heute - 1. Mai 2025 - zum Mittagessen in Spiesberger´s Alpenküche. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Platz auf der Terrasse mit dem einmalig schönen Blick auf Watzmann und Hochkalter. Empfangen wurden wir von der sehr netten und freundlichen Bedienung Frau Kathi. Diese war auch sehr zuvorkommend und hat unserem Hund gleich eine Schüssel Wasser gebracht. Glückwunsch dem Wirt zu so einer tollen Mitarbeiterin. Nun kam das Essen. Wir hatten den Haus der Berge Burger mit Hirschpatty bestellt. Das Fleisch war bestens und sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Auch die Beilagen waren entsprechend gut - zudem waren die Pommes nicht hart und auch nicht versalzen. Alles in allem ein wunderbar gemundetes Gericht. Ebenso das Gefüllte Schnitzel mit sehr guten Bratkartoffel und einem wirklich bestens abgeschmeckten und sehr reichhaltigen Salat - herrlich. Einen Wermutstropfen hat aber alles - leider gibt es als höchste Bewertung nur 5 Punkte - wir würden sehr gerne sechs Punkte abgeben. 6 Löffel hoch dem Koch - es war laut Info Herr Spiesberger selbst. Abgeschlossen haben wir den Traumtag mit 2 Torten welche wir uns nach Hause mitnahmen - auch diese waren sehr, sehr gut. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein baldiges Wiederkommen. The fried chicken was the worst chicken I have ever eaten. No joke.

The woodworks were very beautiful it felt pretty historic the food on the other hand was not fresh so it was probably made in the morning or so and it was already pretty late the Kraut salad was not so bad but the schnitzel wasn’t so tasty. Me and my girlfriend were alone but we met a very friendly 50 year old who sadly had to stop after his 3rd beer because he still had to drive home but he was lovely company for us and I hope we were for him too. Most significantly he es alone so o guess it was maybe his wish to meet other people alone maybe that is the main thing about places like this to meet other people because

Today we were at the Hofbrauhaus. We had schnitzel and Gröstl. Unfortunately it was more of a “leftover”; it tasted bland and was very dry. Since it wasn't edible, I ordered gravy. Even with this, the food didn't slip. It was definitely old dumplings and meat. It didn't look appetizing at all. Service was good, but it wasn't busy either. My men enjoyed the schnitzel.

We went here for dinner with the children today. The service was very good, the staff were quick and friendly. Even little details were taken into account. The food came quickly and was really tasty. The portions were large and absolutely sufficient. Unbeatable for the price. We will come again.

Food was tasty, but quite small portions. We also found it appealing that there weren't 100 things on the menu, but that it was rather clear. But menus look like they are in a bad snack bar, some of which have been crossed out with a ballpoint pen and rewritten! But the worst thing was that we had to change our minds three times because the selected dish was out. But with good service, that should be announced when I bring the menus to the table. It was also somewhat incomprehensible that you couldn't get another side dish with a dish, which was immediately denied.

Brilliant roast pork and beer oxen. 2 times here, both times great. Fair prices and highly recommended. Please reserve in good time as both times are full. Please don't be put off by old comments that are completely off-topic.

Service: Unfortunately completely overloaded. Went there at lunchtime to personally reserve a table for the evening. “You don’t need it! I always manage to accommodate two!” In the evening, we first stand around for 20 minutes and then share a table with strangers. The food arrived at the table 10 minutes before the drinks. Doesn't work at all. You come in, you're thirsty, you've been waiting for a long time anyway... Food: yes, of course, Sur-Haxe is cured. But so salty that it becomes really inedible... I beg you. You really had to “dig” deep into the middle of the knuckle to find a piece that didn’t require a subsequent liter of beer. Oh and the pretzels, far dry, not that nice either. About the beer: The in-house anniversary brew, as well as the dark one, simply a real pleasure. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and I love it!

There were 4 of us and there was something wrong with all 4 of us, either the potatoes weren't cooked properly, the meat wasn't chewy or there was something very hard in the food. All in all not recommended as it is relatively expensive. Oh yes, it's still the case that the knuckle is cold and salty

Hello. We had dinner here last Friday. What can I say? Simply great. Nice and friendly service, the beer tastes great and the knuckle is an absolute hit. FYI: On Fridays you can get the knuckle with a pretzel and a pint of beer for just 22 euros. In season it is better to reserve a table. There was also live music.

Long live the tourist scam... Reserved a table at 3 p.m. for 5 p.m., only to find out that the kitchen doesn't start until 5:30 p.m.... Waited over an hour for the food (6.40 p.m.) to then be served a roast pork completely covered in tendons and 2cm thick fat. Roast pork must be streaky, but not like that and without a crust. The brewery seems to live solely on unsuspecting tourists, disappointing!

All the idiots here rate the Braustübel, but this is where the brewery is located.

Beer was tasty and the prices are good too. But unfortunately our food wasn't that tasty.

I thought for a long time whether there was 1 or 2 stars and then decided on 2 - but only because 1 star seemed too harsh for me. There were actually no real reasons for the second star. The atmosphere is great, very Bavarian. The service is nice, but designed for mass processing. The food - at least in our case - was a disaster. Salt the knuckle completely, the “crust” is light and soft (more like pork knuckle) and the meat is tough. According to the waitress, there have already been discussions with the boss - the high salt content is probably mentioned more often by the guests. We also had meatloaf, which was ok. But the fried potatoes that came with it were really bad. Pre-cooking is normal, but these things have been lying around for a very long time. This is not about the price-performance ratio at all. That was just bad. The two points mainly for the ambience. We were given a (!) small gentian as a courtesy - there were three of us. So I would advise against this restaurant. This is tourist catching. Of course, beer is always good, but it's worth it in this atmosphere.

Great beer garden and beautiful interior with live music and Bavarian dance performances on Friday evenings. The food was hearty and tasty, although the portions could have been larger given the high prices. There are limited parking spaces available.

One thing you can't do is brew beer.

As expected, there is mass processing here. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is typically rustic for an old brewery. The food is a bit bland. This might be good for someone who usually eats currywurst. The beef and bread dumplings didn't taste like anything. I suspect that the same meat is also sold as goulash. Only the different sauces make the difference. My wife's fries tasted as if they had been cooked in old wheel hub grease that had been on the clock for a million miles. So, you can eat it if necessary, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately, run down, beer is very good, food is so-so, everything is in disrepair.

Food was good, nice service. Trouble among the staff when it suddenly rained and the guests had to be seated inside. As a paying guest you probably don't want to notice that.

Second visit to this emblematic place of Berschtesgaden, still as typical. The dishes are plentiful and very well cooked. The beer is still good, in short, a place to go! The service was quick because not too many people

Very tasty food. The Bavarian burger is awesome. Located in the middle of the city. Very friendly waitresses. It is better to make reservations during peak times.

I visit Berchtesgaden yearly. Its the jewel of Bavaria, deep with tradition. Its a very tightly held area. Having visited the famous brewry here for a meal I was deeply disappointed (feb 2024). I don't know who is running the restaurant but they are not locals. The furniture partially original, partially last rennovated in the 70's, very dirty. Meals try to be authentic but fail misrably. As a German I was embaressed. Stay clear and hope a local restores the place's honour again in the future. This standard is not acceptable for Berchtesgaden.

Traditional pub, good local beer. Very cold service which did not make me feel comfortable and thats, for me, very important.

This is exactly how we want to eat, drink and sit in a Bräustübl! We were completely satisfied!

The food was good and well served but the attitude from the manager was terrible and insulting to my wife when she asked the ingredients due to dietary requirements. Literally telling her that she should eat in a sanatorium than tending to her needs. We found that unacceptable and spoiled the meal on an otherwise nice place. Shame on him!
