Ko'Ono Hotel und Restaurant in Konstanz

Ein wunderschönes und mal etwas anderes Hotel mit Charme bzw. echten Urlaubsvibes. Das Zimmer war wirklich riesig, modern und gemütlich zugleich. Und das Essen und Frühstück im Lokal waren einfach perfekt. Beim Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl. Aber am Besten haben mir die Eier zum selber machen gefallen (denn so konnte ich mir auch mal ein weich gekochtes Ei machen), die unheimlich leckeren Waffeln, die man sich ebenfalls selbst machen konnte und die Semmeln von einem lokalen Bäcker. Zum Abendessen im Lokal kann ich nur sagen, das war der absolute Hammer und das Personal war einfach genial. Man fühlt sich so willkommen und wird so höflich und nett behandelt. Alle sind so bemüht, dass man sich hier wohlfühlt und eine schöne Zeit hat. Ich habe hier wirklich wundervolle Momente und Begegnungen gehabt. Wir kommen wirklich gerne wieder!!!

Wir sind rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Ein Stern Abzug weil es keine Klimaanlage gibt, aber sonst alles super. Frühstück ist sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Am Abend kann man im Restaurant richtig lecker essen. Aus der dritten Etage hat man sogar Seeblick und Mainaublick. Nach Konstanz ist es nur ein Katzensprung aber weit genug, um dörfliche Idylle zu haben.

Ein schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage, da Konstanz-Litzelstetten ein Erholungsort ist. 5 min zu Fuß ist man am Bodensee. Das Zimmer was wir hatten war schön, alles hat gepasst. Im Zimmer drin gibt es Senseo Kaffeeautomat ,dazu Kaffeepads und Teebeutel,Zucker ,Milch inklusive. Per Tablet (was zum Zimmer gehört und dazu dient sich über die Umgebung zu informieren , nicht um es privat zu nutzen)kann man mit der Rezeption chatan, falls man irgendwelche Fragen hat. Die MitarbeiterInnen im Restaurant und Rezeption sind freundlich. Ich weiß nicht ob im Zimmer eine Klimaanlage gibt, da im Zimmer Ventilatoren stehen.Bei uns im Zimmer war es in der Nacht etwas zu warm, (25.05//// 30 Grad Tagsüber draußen). Frühstück ist auch gut, es gibt Rührei, Waffelteig um selber Waffeln zu machen, Würstchen, Salami , Fleischwurst, Vegetarisch e Salami, Käse, Gurke, Tomaten, Paprika, Müslis, Marmelade, Honig usw. Man kann sich Orangensaft selber pressen.Getränke das was man so kennt. Ich würde nur öfters mal die Gabeln am Büffet wechseln.Sonst sind die Mitarbeiter sehr bemüht es ordentlich zu halten und dafür zu sorgen das alles dort vorhanden ist,falls etwas nicht mehr da sein sollte. Es gibt auch eine Spielecke für Kinder und einen Fußball Kickertisch (ohne zu bezahlen,kann man da spielen). Draußen gibt es eine Terrasse, wo man auch essen kann.Vieles steht auf der Webseite des Hotels. Aufzug ist vorhanden,bis in die Tiefgarage. Internet gibts auch. Empfehlenswert.

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Besuch. Das Essen war wirklich super lecker, frisch und schön angerichtet. Auch der Service war top. Der einzige Punkt, der uns nicht ganz so gefallen hat, waren die Sitzplätze ohne Rückenlehne. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist das noch in Ordnung, aber wenn man gemütlich länger sitzen und essen möchte, wird es auf Dauer etwas unbequem. Gerade bei einem so angenehmen Ambiente und gutem Essen hätte etwas mehr Sitzkomfort das Erlebnis perfekt gemacht.

Waren zum wiederholten Male dort und wieder super zufrieden. Äußerst nette Mitarbeiter und schönes angenehmes Ambiente mit ausserordentlichem vielfältigen, leckerem Frühstück runden einen angenehmen Aufenthalt ab.

Tolle Lage, um Konstanz oder Insel Mainau zu erkunden. Bushaltestelle quasi direkt am Hotel. Netter Empfang, insgesamt ein junges und freundliches Team. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die 3 Tage genossen. Das Frühstück ist umfassend. Wir haben jeden Abend im Restaurant gegessen. Es war immer sehr lecker und bietet eine guten Einblick in die Hawaiianische Küche. Die Gerichte sind zwar nicht ganz günstig, aber sie sind es wert

Super Hotel, hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. In den kleinen Details sieht man, dass sie auf ihre Gäste wirklich acht geben. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Ein fantastisches Hotel mit überaus hilfsbereitem und freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und komfortabel mit ansprechender Einrichtung. Sowohl das À-la-carte-Abendessen als auch das Frühstücksbuffet waren hervorragend (Prosecco und frisch gepresster Orangensaft zum Frühstück – einfach perfekt). Es gibt auch eine finnische Sauna, die wir leider nicht nutzen konnten. Und im Restaurant gibt es sogar einen Kinderbereich (was in Deutschland wirklich selten ist).

Schon lange nicht mehr so gut in einem Restaurant gegessen wie heute. Die Qualität war wirklich top – sowas bekommt man sonst meistens erst für den doppelten Preis. Besonders gut fanden wir, dass das Fleisch laut Karte vom lokalen Metzger kommt. Und man merkt das wirklich: super Qualität, perfekt zubereitet und einfach richtig gut im Geschmack. Auch die hausgemachten Limonaden waren super dazu. Dazu noch freundlicher Service und ein angenehmes Ambiente. Wirklich nichts auszusetzen – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Ko’Ono Hotel und Restaurant überzeugt schon beim Ankommen mit seinem besonderen Ambiente: Die liebevolle Dekoration versprüht echtes Hawaii-Feeling und sorgt sofort für Urlaubsstimmung. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und gut ausgestattet – ein echtes Highlight für die Kinder war die Hängematte, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Vom Zimmer im 3. Stock aus hat man zudem eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Bodensee, die den Aufenthalt perfekt abrundet. Auch kulinarisch wird man hier nicht enttäuscht: Das hawaiianische Essen ist nicht nur sehr lecker, sondern auch ansprechend angerichtet. Die Speisen sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und machen das Restaurant zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Die Kinder vertrieben sich die Wartezeit im Spielzimmer mit Tischfussball. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit außergewöhnlichem Konzept – ideal für alle, die ein bisschen Hawaii-Feeling am Bodensee genießen möchten.

Ich frage mich wirklich, wie dieses Hotel/Restaurant zu den positiven Bewertungen kommt… Meine Erfahrung im Hotel/Restaurant Ko’Ono Litzelstetten war jedenfalls eine komplett andere. Schon beim Reinkommen hatte ich nicht das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Das Personal wirkte überwiegend genervt, unfreundlich und teilweise richtig pampig, als wären Gäste eher eine Belastung als der eigentliche Grund, warum es dieses Hotel/Restaurant überhaupt gibt.. Was die Sauberkeit angeht, war ich ehrlich gesagt ziemlich enttäuscht. An mehreren Stellen hatte ich den Eindruck, dass hier nicht besonders gründlich gearbeitet wird. Für ein Hotel, das sich offenbar gut nach außen präsentieren möchte, passt das einfach nicht zusammen. Besonders unangenehm ist mir außerdem der Umgang der Chefin mit den Mitarbeitenden aufgefallen. Der Ton wirkte auf mich mehrfach respektlos und unangemessen, teilweise sogar vor den Gästen. Das hinterlässt nicht nur ein schlechtes Gefühl, sondern wirft auch kein gutes Licht auf die gesamte Atmosphäre im Haus. Was mich dann wirklich stutzig gemacht hat: Auf Instagram gibt es einen überaus positiven Bericht einer Influencerin über dieses Hotel/Restaurant. Wenn man diesen Beitrag sieht, könnte man meinen, man spricht von einem komplett anderen Ort. Meine Erfahrungen stehen dazu in starkem Kontrast. Für mich wirkt das Ganze eher wie eine stark beschönigte Darstellung, die wenig mit der Realität vor Ort zu tun hat. Insgesamt hatte ich den Eindruck, dass hier mehr Wert auf Außendarstellung gelegt wird als auf das tatsächliche Erlebnis der Gäste. Ich kann die positiven Bewertungen daher absolut nicht nachvollziehen.

Wir waren zum Silvesterbuffet da und danach nochmals zum Abendessen. Beide Male assen wir hervorragend. Freundliches Personal. Ideal geeignet für Familien. Es gibt ein grosses Spielzimmer und Sitzerhöhungen bzw Babystühle.

Wir waren enttäuscht. Leistung und Preis stehen in keiner Relation. Das Hotel ist eher eine Durchreise Schlafstätte wie Etap oder Ibis Budget. Laut hektisch, ungemütlich. Dafür ist der Preis dann aber völlig unangemessen. Die Strasse ist leider viel befahren und laut. Offenes Fenster zum Schlafen geht nicht. Dann wird es aber ohne Klimaanlage im Zimmer stickig. Dazu billigstes Kunststoff Bettzeug. Wir haben nicht erholsam geschlafen. Der Speisesaal hat Festzelt Charakter. D.h man versteht sein eigenes Wort beim Abendessen kaum. Gemütlich ist leider anders. Wie gesagt. Für einen schnellen Stopp over OK. Dann passt aber der Preis nicht. Für 280 € die Nacht erwarte ich deutlich mehr. Schade.

Schönes Hotel, sauber und freundlich. Allerdings ist es unmöglich dort das Fenster zu öffnen. Es liegt an einer Hauptstraße und daher unfassbar laut. 🥺

We wanted to have dinner at Ko'Ono... we had a reservation for 8:30 pm and called about an hour beforehand to say we'd like to come earlier if possible. This was confirmed. Unfortunately, we didn't get a table and had to wait in the waiting area because it was still occupied. Since the kitchen closes at 9 pm, we didn't want to stress about it, as it was unclear when our table would be free, so we left.

The food was delicious - thank you very much.

We only ate at the restaurant. Everything was great! Very friendly staff, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. It was a very spontaneous visit, but it was well worth it. Highly recommended :)

A very nice restaurant. We went for a meal. We had coconut soup as a starter, followed by spare ribs and a small dessert. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended. The prices were reasonable. We spent €90 on our meal.

We stayed at Ko Ono for two nights and it was wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, with excellent vegetarian and gluten-free options (gluten-free rolls, etc.). The sauna area was also lovely and very well-maintained. Thank you for the wonderful stay; we would love to come back.

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night to visit the Christmas Garden. We didn't have to worry about tickets; everything was taken care of for us. The same went for our four friends who weren't staying overnight. We'll definitely be back. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful, and it has a real family atmosphere. We also ate at the restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic. Kudos to the chef! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Brunch: Service was good, very friendly and fast. Quality was excellent, the buffet was quickly replenished. However, the entire amount (including the request for a tip!!!) had to be paid in advance when reserving a table. Very strange and somewhat disconcerting.

A very nice restaurant. We went there for brunch as part of a work party, and the food was delicious, with a very wide selection of dishes and drinks. The decor was also very stylish and everything blended together perfectly. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! We stayed two nights with our dog at the Ko’Ono Hotel. The room was beautifully furnished, everything was very clean, and the staff and service were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and varied. High-quality juice was available by the bottle or for self-squeezing. There was a wide selection of teas and coffees. Fish, cold cuts, cheese, jam, vegan options, muesli, and much more were also available.

The Boozy Brunch was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it! All the food was top-notch, both in terms of taste and size/portion. The drinks were fantastic, and it was all very affordable. The value for money is excellent! I'll definitely be back!

Very comfortably furnished room with everything you need, a real holiday feeling. Staying with a dog was no problem; a nice dog bed was provided (a bowl would be a good addition). The room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast buffet was great. I would gladly stay again.

We ate at Koono today, four adults with four kids between the ages of 2 and 6. The food was delicious, the menu was extensive, and best of all: there was a play area for the kids. We were able to enjoy a relaxed meal while the kids played. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was very friendly. Great drinks, nicely decorated, and a good atmosphere. Free parking in the underground garage. It was a bit tight for a large SUV, but it worked. Deserves 5 stars.

A beautiful, bright, and clean hotel. The staff were consistently friendly and very accommodating. Every request was fulfilled whenever possible. It was our wedding anniversary, which I had casually mentioned when booking, and we were pleasantly surprised with a Hawaiian-themed table for breakfast and dinner. The sauna is available all day. Our room on the second floor had a partial lake view. We will definitely return.

Lake Constance CAN be Hawaii. A coherent concept. The rooms are very spacious and lovingly furnished. Tea and coffee are provided in the room. The bathroom has underfloor heating, which is wonderful when you're visiting Lake Constance during the colder months. Absolutely everyone on the hotel team is very friendly. The restaurant is well worth a visit. Incredibly delicious, truly exceptional food.

The rooms are comfortably furnished and clean. Reception staff are helpful and friendly. Underground parking is available for a fee. The food was sometimes lacking in focus. We served half-raw shrimp. They were refried, and the salad was rearranged. An interesting Lake Constance rum is on the menu. It can be very busy at times. Reservations recommended.

Possibly the best experience we’ve had as a family in a hotel. We’re foodie parents travelling with a 3 year old and a 2 month old baby. Play area in the restaurant with cool toys. Chill sofa area and lots of board games. Hanging chair in the room. Super comfy bed plus an extra one for the kids. Restaurant was outstanding, we loved all the dishes, including the bbq platter (plus an extra king prawn skewer). Worth travelling for alone. Breakfast was amazing too, waffles, lots of vegan options even Prosecco. Booked an extra night we liked it so much. Had a slight overcharge on the last night but called up and got a refund for the difference. It’s a quiet area, but there’s a bakery down the road and a nice playground close by. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I went for dinner and ordered the appetizer pupus, spare ribs, and Hawaiian BBQ for one. There was a ton of meat. The spare ribs and pork belly ribs were juicy and succulent. So delicious. Plenty of food. The staff was friendly!

We went to the restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't like it and wouldn't return. Nothing particularly wrong, but almost nothing right. Even the atmosphere felt a bit like a large refectory. The underground parking is excellent. A real plus!

Unfortunately, the food only arrived after 80 minutes. Food was missing, and the staff frequently asked what was missing and took forever to refill drinks, etc. Overall, the kitchen and staff seemed very poorly organized. The burgers were mediocre, the patties were tasteless and dry, yet still raw inside. They were served on paper that became soggy and stuck to the buns. The shrimp arrived translucent and had to be recooked. The restaurant's smoker filled the entire outdoor area with smoke, delivering a hefty dose of smoke inhalation. Overall, an overpriced and unpleasant experience.

First of all: we only used the restaurant, and taste is subjective. The service staff in the restaurant are quite slow, but friendly. If you want to eat, you'll have to be prepared for a while; the main course took about 60 minutes to arrive and was lukewarm. The food itself was average in taste, and the drinks were watered down (including the beer). The ambiance is okay, but they could have made more effort to hide the cables. The outdoor area is on a relatively busy street, and you can hear the music from the surrounding houses. Price/performance ratio is rather poor. One suggestion for improvement: use moist towels instead of cheap disposable citrus wipes for cleaning hands. It's better for the environment and seems more high-quality.

The two of us were there just for dinner. We ordered the mixed BBQ platter for two. The brisket and the ribs were very good. The burger and pulled pork were average. The BBQ sauces were also great. We were all full. The service was also good.

The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The room was beautifully decorated. However, it was quite loud, as all the tables were in one large room. There was also a play area where children were making a lot of noise, so we had to talk very loudly. It's a shame the play area isn't separated from the dining area.

We were here for dinner. The Hawaiian feeling is a matter of personal taste. It wasn't enough for me. The terrace faces the street. The food was good, albeit with reservations. The starter jars were already prepared, but unfortunately the cucumber and chicken skewers were dry. The main course was cauliflower undercooked, but the ribs were okay. The Hawaiian roast pork was good, as was the brisket. We didn't have to pay for the roast. The service was attentive and friendly. In my opinion, Hawaii could do with better.

Very close to Mainau Island. The restaurant is highly recommended because the food is of very high quality, most of it is locally sourced (organic), and has an extensive selection (also very good for vegetarians). The meat dishes are absolutely fantastic; many are prepared on a smoker. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are relatively small for this price range, but just adequate. The only real criticism, however, is that in warmer months, the rooms are extremely warm, as there is no air conditioning. However, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again when the weather is cooler.

Time and again, Martin Hübner and his team create sophisticated dishes – a feast for the eyes and the palate. Two of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner. The food was really good and beautifully presented (guacamole served right at your table, etc.). Both the burger and the smoked cauliflower were delicious. The service is a bit pricey, though, which is a bit of a downside, but it's a great treat on vacation and something you can afford. It's nice to feel welcome with children: a special menu for them, an indoor and outdoor play area, changing tables and diapers available, high chairs... I ate the best smoked roast beef ever, and I dare say I've eaten this dish many times in many different places around the world! Hats off to the kitchen! The guacamole is prepared fresh at your table, so you can decide what and how much to add. The service was very attentive yet unobtrusive, which made the experience very pleasant. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and were delighted. We received a very warm welcome, and the buffet was shown and explained. The selection of food and drinks is very large, everything is fresh, and the food is constantly being replenished. The team is great and very dedicated.

Well-appointed and clean room, as was the entire hotel. The breakfast was generous, varied, and of high quality. The staff was pleasant. The only downside for me was the location, in the middle of a residential area with no charm, but there was a view of the lake in the background.

The room was a complete disaster. A "double room" for two people was a storage closet with a double bed. The price of €105.50 (per person, of course) was charged directly upon check-in. This is completely inappropriate for the room and completely overpriced. The food is good, but the prices are ridiculous. The service was good, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean but very dated. Even the pillows on the bed looked like they might have come from a "better" era, and they didn't exactly look very hygienic. The shower had absolutely no pressure, and the hot water took a long time to arrive. The use of the electrical outlets in the room is also limited because not all of them work. The hotel itself has Wi-Fi; surprisingly, the Wi-Fi reception is better 30 meters from the hotel than in the room itself. However, one positive aspect worth mentioning (for those who prioritize this) is the possibility of charging an e-bike in the underground garage in a dedicated bicycle parking space. My recommendation: It's okay for one night. Regarding the surroundings: There's not much going on in the village or the surrounding area; there's a gas station, an Edeka supermarket, a bakery, a pizzeria, a Baar café, and the hotel. If you like quiet and secluded surroundings, this is the place for you. I really would have liked to write a better review and give it more stars, but I'm trying to be objective and honest for others.

The staff is nice. Their restaurant is of good quality. They have a Finnish sauna, which they heat up on request. Mainau is easily accessible on foot. Hotel guests can park in the underground garage, 10 euros/night (I understand there is an additional charge for electric cars).

I was 'just' here for dinner. I spontaneously got a table for two and had a very, very good meal. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive; we felt very comfortable here. There's not much to say about the food. It was incredibly delicious. The concept behind it, using regional, sustainable ingredients, is simply brilliant. I'd love to come back.

Very child-friendly with indoor and outdoor play areas

We were there last night spontaneously and without a reservation and got a seat on the terrace - which we were very happy about. The food was super tasty, the portions are really big and the service was really super friendly. We'll definitely be back. Vegans will definitely get their money's worth here too.

Very friendly staff, spacious rooms, refined cuisine and a large selection of beers and other drinks. Ideal starting point for a visit to Mainau, the bus leaves almost in front of the door and takes 6 minutes, free if you stay in the hotel thanks to the Bodensee Card.
