A very cozy atmosphere and exceptional sushi at very fair prices. We always enjoy coming here.

My favourite spot for sushi in Konstanz. It’s pricy but the quality certainly matches the price. The fish is of high quality and some cuts that can be found here just can’t be found anywhere else in Konstanz (e.g. the sake toro nigiri, my favourite). I’m also a big fan of crunchy fish skin rolls, for a change! Staff is very friendly and efficient. The rest of the menu didn’t blow me away and if I dine at Iu Mi I’d rather have sushi. Not to say that it’s not nice but I think the sushi is a step above everything else. The restaurant was just renovated and while it’s certainly nice, it’s one of the darkest restaurants I’ve ever seen! It feels like walls and ceiling almost don’t exist when dining in the evening. It’s just a taste thing but I found the more laid back atmosphere from before more enjoyable.

I discovered this restaurant by chance 5 years ago while I was at K9. Super delicious Good Rice soup! However, it now costs €12 for lunch, compared to €10 last year and €8 five years ago. For those with a lot of money, it's certainly perfectly fine. I think the price increase is too steep at this time.

Konstanz meets Sushi❤️ We unexpectedly found a delicious sushi restaurant in a somewhat hidden spot in Konstanz. The service was very competent and friendly 👍 The various variations we tried were exceptionally fresh and high-quality! Truly delicious and interesting combinations. The accompanying drinks, including a freshly tapped local beer and a delicious rosé, were also excellent. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Konstanz. The atmosphere is not the coolest but the atmosphere is pretty good and the dishes here are not that expensive. True, they are quite tasty but the price for sashimi upset me.

This was my first time back at Iumi since the renovations, and I was quite disappointed. The restaurant looks modern and appealing, and the staff was friendly, but that was about it. The prices have increased significantly since my last visit (by what felt like 25–30%), which unfortunately isn't reflected in the quality or portion size. The taquitos were particularly disappointing: For €13, you get a quarter of a cold wrap, cut in half, and sparsely filled – which is completely out of proportion to the price. Overall, the value for money is no longer good for me. It's a shame, because I used to enjoy coming here.

I was there and ordered a noodle soup. They were simply instant noodles, possibly from mom, that cost €0.50 at the Asian store with some vegetables and tofu inside. They charged a ridiculous €15.80 for this.

It was a nice evening, the atmosphere itself was very nice - unfortunately very narrow. The warm food was great, you can't complain about it. Next time we'll try sushi and there's an upgrade.

Delicious sushi, but there are some shortcomings in the service A very cozy small place with really tasty sushi – I was pleased with the quality of the dishes. Large selection of cocktails, which was also a pleasant surprise. I liked that there was a high chair - convenient for families with children. However, unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I ordered soup and checked with the waiter, but it never arrived the entire evening. At the end, when I reminded about the order once again, it turned out that for some reason the waiter decided that I had changed my mind by choosing sushi. At the same time, no one asked me or offered anything in return. The taste of the food made up for the misunderstanding, but such moments, of course, require attention.

Super friendly staff. Here you can have everything and literally EVERYTHING your sushi heart desires.🍣🍙 Various parts of salmon and tuna. Sushi with eel, mussel, octopus, shrimp or caviar. 🐡🐟🍥🦑I will never be able to list everything here. The arrangement is particularly beautiful. The eye is definitely there. Unfortunately some of the fish was a bit tough. This is always a bit stupid, especially with raw fish. But I can imagine it would be better on another day. Already expensive by German standards. But money is there to spend right ya heard 💲

By far the best sushi that my partner and I have eaten in a long time. We came across the restaurant by chance and immediately fell in love. The ambience is also great and the employees are all friendly. We'd love to come back.

For me personally, the sushi wasn't worth the price. In my opinion, the rolls were too small/few for the hefty price. Especially the special rolls that come in 4 pieces. Costing around €10-12, I was disappointed. I also think the ambience doesn't match the prices. The restaurant is not particularly fancy (you sit on wooden stools, for example), and you also have to help yourself to cutlery and napkins. Basically no problem, but if I leave so much money on the table, I expect a little more from the restaurant. For sushi, I still prefer other restaurants in Konstanz. Maybe I'll come back for another dish.

Super schönes und gemütliches Lokal (nähe Lago, also bei Parkplatzmangel könnte man auch im Parkhaus des Einkaufzentrums parken) von dort aus sind es etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Lokal. Wir waren begeistert von dem Essen, hatten die Udon Nudeln bestellt, einfach der hammer. Super lecker, frisch, top gewürzt und lohnenswert, kommen definitiv des Öfteren vorbei! 👍🏻

The quality of the fried starter was ok, but not outstanding. The service was very good and very friendly. Almost a little too fast or hectic. The prices are a little exaggerated. For 5 small dumplings (see photo) 10 euros is simply too much.

Small, fine sushi. It doesn't stand out now but it was totally okay. Deduction in the “B” grade: Only one serving per place in the “tool dispenser” (cutlery/chopsticks). Food meets expectations. Fresh, tasty and reasonably priced for the area.

Tolles Sushi Restaurant, besonders begeistert hat uns die größere Auswahl auch an vegetarischen Optionen. Außerdem gab es auch ausgefallene Variationen auf der Karte, z.B. Sushi mit Trüffel. Wir waren begeistert!

Spontaneous discovery in downtown Konstanz. One of the best sushi places we have discovered so far. Each one was a taste explosion, including beautiful and creative presentation. Also recommended is the tom kha gai soup.

Actually a good shop, especially the selection of lunch menus is actually fair. Why “actually”. Today I picked up the “Chicken Don to Go” rice bowl for 11.80 euros per person. Actually, as it says on the menu, there is a grilled corn chicken skewer with it (the menu even mentions “corn chicken skewers”, plural). For the To Go version, only 3, yes only 3!, pieces of corn-fed chicken were added, at full price. That's not fair!

Small and cozy asian restaurant with an emphasis on sushi, although other options such as noodle soup are also available. Friendly staff, our order was quickly taken and the drinks arrived very fast. There was a medium wait time for the order to be served during a busy evening, but everything arrived as ordered and was arranged in an elegant manner. The taste was good, the ingredients were fresh and of decent quality, the price reflects this and is what I believe to be appropriate for a sushi restaurant. A good place to dine, all in all.

Very tasty and, above all, the almost hidden note on the napkin that everything is cooked fresh and without flavor enhancers creates trust. It doesn't say on the napkin that friendly service is offered here, but you can experience that directly in the restaurant.

Himmlische Sushis, Suppen, tolle Auswahl und von höchster Qualität. Desserts waren köstlich und 1A Preisleistung. Sehr sehr freundliches Personal und alles sehr sauber. Wir sind begeistert und freuen uns schon bald wieder zu kommen.

Klein und etwas versteckt, aber sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man gute asiatische Küche zu schätzen weiß, welche mit guten Produkten und guter Qualität zu überzeugen weiß. Es schmeckt super lecker und die Preise sind sehr okay. Besonders der Mittagstisch wie Chiken Don ist ganz prima.

Wir hatten eine wirklich umwerfende Platte für 2 Personen, der Preis von etwa 80 Euro ist jedenfalls in Ordnung. Man bedenke 2 Vorspeisen und 2 Main Courses dieser Qualität . . . Neben dem umwerfenden Geschmack ist die Optik im Kältedampfnebel aus der kleinen Teekanne auf der überbordend dekorierten Holzplatte in einem Straßenrestaurant unerwartet spektakulär.

Nette Sushi Bar in der Innenstadt von Konstanz. Hier werden neben Sushi auch Nudel und Reisgerichte serviert. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam, die Sitze draussen gemütlich. Das Essen war okay, die Dim Sum waren geschmacklich nicht überragend. Die Tuna Nigiri schmeckten leider nacht nichts, das Thunfisch war sehr zäh. Die Udon waren besser, wurden aber in Rekordzeit serviert. Ob das noch frisch gemacht wird? Die Portionen sind gross, probieren schadet nicht.

Leckeres Sushi und Bowls (hatte den Tofu Don mit viel frischem Gemüse und Reis), alles sah super sauber aus und hat sehr frisch geschmeckt und war schön angerichtet. Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Was mir etwas misfallen hat: Zwischen Vorspeisen und Hauptgang sollte schon eine kleine Pause sein, normalerweise wird dann nicht alles gleichzeitig serviert. Das kann man besser hinbekommen. Ein Highlight sind dagegen die hausgemachten Limonaden, sehr lecker!

Wirklich aushezeichnetes Sushi. Die Bedienung war jedoch nicht sehr freundlich... Zusätzlich sind beim letzten Besuch einige Lachsstücke nicht richtig filetiert worden.

Klein aber fein ist dieses etwas versteckte Restaurant. Bisher war ich immer mit dem essen zufrieden und auch die Räumlichkeit ist schön eingerichtet!

Ich war hier letztes Wochenende mit meinem Mann, wir hatten reserviert jedoch war das Restaurant kaum besucht (wir waren sehr früh dran). Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und authentisch, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Dadurch das wir quasi die einzigen Gäste waren, wurde das Sushi frisch für uns hergestellt und das hat man geschmeckt. Ich war bereits früher einmal hier und auch da war das Sushi grandios und genauso schön angerichtet. Man schmeckt, wie frisch der Fisch ist, einzig hätte die Panade des ummantelten Sushis etwas knackiger sein können, man hatte gemerkt, das dieser wohl als erstes zubereitet wurde und dadurch war dieses etwas lahm. Ich kann das Restaurant sehr weiterempfehlen und werden auch sicher wiederkommen.

Wir waren zum Sonntag hier und haben draussen gesessen. Wurden sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Essen war absolut frisch und zu sehr fairen Preisen. Portionen waren riessig, so dass wir leider die Dessertkarte nicht testen konnten. Aber wir werden wieder kommen.

Immer wieder super, das Sushi ist jedes Mal top; leider ist es mittlerweile durch die Preiserhöhungen (die aber ja in der gesamten Stadt zu beobachten und keine wirklich Überraschung sind) nicht mehr ganz so erschwinglich, wie zu Zeiten der Eröffnung. Der Mittagstisch mit etwas günstigeren Angeboten ist darum eine tolle Option zum Ausprobieren. Geschmacklich lohnt sich der Besuch allemal.

No fuss quick business lunch option. There is outdoor seating and reservation is not needed. Food arrives fast enough. Miso soup is hot (not warm), which is a plus. Unfortunately they don’t take card payment, only cash or PayPal (PayPal will charge you around 4 euro!)
