Kentucky Fried Chicken in Kamen

This was our first and last time visiting this KFC. Despite it being almost empty, the wait time for our order was exorbitant. The chicken on my burger barely covered a quarter of the bun. The employees were extremely overwhelmed and arrogant, which was also reflected in the cleanliness. I absolutely do not recommend visiting this "fast food joint." It can definitely be done better!

Terrible service, uncoordinated, toilet very dirty

Worst KFC I've ever been to. I waited 30 minutes for the food. The mashed potatoes were cold, dried out, and the sauce had a skin on it. Absolutely disgusting. The employee swapped them for fries, which weren't cooked through. The 8-euro burger was a joke and not fresh either. A young girl in front of us had to wait 30 minutes for a paper cup. Oh, and the drink was more like water than Coke; the syrup must have run out. Never again.

I'd already forgotten why I didn't want to go to that KFC anymore. The fries were soggy and undercooked. The chicken was also slightly pink. But the wait was long. The pavement and the outdoor area could use some updating.

I love KFC stuff 😀. So 5 stars for the food – especially since it was quick to order online and served warm at the table. What was pretty bad: the restrooms. Apparently, some kid had smeared the restroom door with feces, my wife reported. The men's restroom was out of soap. I briefly asked the nice guy about the soap. He thanked me and apologized, but 20 minutes later, nothing had happened. Accessible restroom: wide open, toilet bowl full of urine... at least the soap dispenser was full, so washing hands was still possible. Otherwise, good parking. The furniture was fairly new and comfortable.

We were there for the first time in a while, but unfortunately, half of our order was forgotten. We contacted them by phone and noted that it was a long drive. The food was very good.

We had to wait 45 minutes for our food today—no sign of fast food. Orders were processed out of order, the men's restroom was broken, the women's restroom was dirty, the faucet on the children's sink was broken, and the clearing cart was completely overflowing. This wasted a lot of time on our trip—we certainly won't repeat it.

Loud, disorganized & incredibly long waiting times

I arrived around noon, the store was relatively empty. Still, I waited 19 minutes for food. The cash register suddenly ran out of cash, which kept all two employees busy for five minutes. There was no soap in the restroom.

The food was okay. However, we waited a full 30 minutes for our order, even though the place was practically empty. Of the employees I saw, ONE was working! The others preferred to chat with their bros (privately), spend the whole time cleaning the same spot, or just stand around. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. Conclusion: Not recommended, and it was our last time there!

Intimidating atmosphere, slow service and the food was cold.

The table was dirty and greasy. What I got was over-fretted and really dark.

The food was okay. The restrooms were reasonably clean. Despite the fact that it was very quiet, it took a very long time for the food to be ready.

The entire meal was too cold. We ordered four burgers with fries. And that wasn't the first time.

Unfortunately, dogs weren't allowed in and we had to sit in the rain.

55 minutes for 3 burgers, and that's with an online order that's supposedly "prepared immediately." While I wait patiently, not a single person in the store shows any interest in my order—neither a question nor a quick glance at the screen. It's almost as if they're hoping the customer will just leave. Spoiler: I stayed. But only to pick up lukewarm burgers almost an hour later. Service? None. Organization? A joke. Customer friendliness? I guess that's only available in the Happy Meal (oh no, wrong store). Never again KFC at this location. If I want slow food, I'll go to a restaurant—not to you.

The restaurant wasn't clean. Leftover food and napkins on the floor. Almost no table was even halfway clean. Burger buns were soggy. Burgers were cold. Fries were soggy and cold. Sauces were forgotten despite ordering. Staff were a bit overwhelmed even though it wasn't particularly busy. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

One of my worst visits to KFC. The food was bad and the portions were very small. I'm used to something different. Cleanliness inside and out could use some attention, but oh well. It's been better...

We waited 50 minutes for our order. Only after repeated inquiries were we told that a deep fryer had to be turned back on to prepare part of the order. I would have appreciated more open communication, with the customer notifying us when ordering that there were "problems" with the following product and that it would therefore take longer. Then we could have ordered something else.

What's working here 🤣 other than shouting with the numbers three hundred and fifty-five, there are displays and then they claim mine was announced 10 minutes ago, everything was deleted beforehand, never again. Good service is now only available in KFC England, try it there, you'll get something for them 😂

You drive there especially to try the pink Squid Game burger—of course, also because of the look. And what happens? At home, you open the box, and the burger has been made without the eye-catching pink look. The guys at the counter were nice, but you can at least let them know that they're out of the pink bun. I'm super pissed! 😡

The wait for my order at this restaurant was a whopping 23 minutes. And unfortunately, pretty much every table was covered in crumbs and grease.

Chicken, soggy and cold...the place is dirty...the waitresses can't count...and don't understand you....then someone comes along and asks what the problem is, you try to explain it to them and they just walk away....

The food was okay, the rest was terrible. There were two cars ahead of us at the drive-thru, and it took over 30 minutes. The store was also dead. My kid was screaming his head off in the car, and we couldn't go forward or back. Never again!

I'm taking the time to write this review, as I've been standing in the drive-thru behind ONLY 2 cars for 31 minutes now. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. And this isn't the first time.

After four hours on the highway, I spontaneously decided to eat here. There was one car in front of me in the drive-thru, and they'd already been waiting for 40 minutes. If I could have driven past (lack of space), I should have. Then it was finally my turn. The chicken patties would take a little longer, but they can make up for that by putting in hot wings. I confirmed this and still had to wait another 40 minutes at the counter. I could see one customer after another complaining at the counter. Behind me, there was car after car. After the meal, my wife was happy and full (across the street from McDonald's), and I felt completely sick. We still had four hours of highway ahead of us... I'll be avoiding KFC in the future.

It's unbelievable how long you have to wait here. It's nothing to do with fast food, really :D. One employee had to check the order every 3 seconds. Then he walked away for a moment, immediately turned around (because he probably forgot everything at that very moment), and looked at the order again. The whole thing took over 20 minutes, for a single tablet 😅😅😅 I hope that was just him getting used to it!

Everything was fine, but the hot wings were uneatable. They were full of feathers and hair, sticky, and the coating on the chicken was rubbery. It was just disgusting. It's a shame, because KFC is famous for its hot wings, but it's not anymore.

I've been waiting in the drive-thru for an hour, and it looks like there are no employees there. Other cars have been waiting there much longer than me. The staff at the microphone didn't speak German, so I couldn't understand anything.

I waited 50 minutes, and when I spoke to you, I realized you'd completely forgotten. Then I waited another 20 minutes. A disaster. Unfortunately, never again at KFC Kamener Kreuz. We weren't the only ones, and it wasn't even that busy.

Sorry, the people who work there, especially the service staff, are terrible. The two women are cheeky and incredibly rude, even to their colleagues, and the guy in the pink T-shirt is so creepy. You don't even dare to reorder anything. The food took 30 minutes, and you have to wait in line because they call for your order. The food isn't bad (thanks to the crew who prepare it), but as I said, the service staff are terrible.

It was quite busy. Our rather large order (€67 for a family with two children) was simply forgotten. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food. Other guests also waited a long time. We drove all the way from Hamm. The owner will never see us again.

I've never been to a KFC branch as poorly managed as this one. Currently, there are about 30 people waiting for their food, but nothing is happening at the counter. Orders are being processed extremely slowly; on average, an order is being served every 10 minutes. Particularly unhygienic: The cashier was wearing an old, dirty bandage on his hand that looked like it hadn't been changed in days.

Disastrous management...staff are way too slow, and this is called fast food...I'm upgrading to one star. It's gotten even worse after two years.

The restrooms are an absolute disaster. Cleanliness and hygiene seem to be a non-issue here.

Once and never again. I was cheated out of €15 of my order. Sides were missing, as was a whole burger. The store itself was dirty, and the staff was completely overwhelmed.

The fries were half-raw, the wings weren't crispy, and they were only lukewarm. Things were missing when I picked up the food, and when I pointed it out, it took the third employee to understand what I wanted due to the speech barrier. The draft Coke was so runny that you could feel it through and it only tasted like water. The entire store seemed unkempt. The tables were dirty, there was trash under some of the tables, and this didn't change during our 30-minute visit. The entire outdoor area is overgrown with weeds, two windows are broken, and the barrier tape covering the two broken windows is completely faded and tattered...so it's been like this for a while! Conclusion: Never again KFC in Kamen

I've never seen people work so slowly. No order before us...I waited 30 minutes for 1 fries, 1 drink, and 4 crispies. It's simply a disgrace.

After waiting five minutes at the drive-thru counter, I drove across the street to Burger King. (At KFC, there was one car at the checkout window, and the restaurant was barely busy.)

Not worse or better than the competition, although perhaps a bit off if you like poultry, or rather, what comes out of it. ;)

Incredibly dirty and smelly. The food tasted great.

What bothered me most was that the drink dispenser was apparently broken, but there was no warning. Instead of 7Up, I had water with a few drops of Coke. It tasted like just water. I noticed the dripping right away, as there were always brown drops coming out, regardless of whether I was being served or not.

It always depends on who's working at the time, because sometimes you can end up waiting a really long time for your food. The fries were full of salt, and the meat on the Zwinger Burger was still slightly pink. Disappointing service at the service point. I ordered at the service point and had to wait far too long. The employees greeted each other and chatted instead of processing my order quickly. When I finally got my food, it was almost cold and tasteless. It's just way too slow – that's how you lose customers.

The store is dirty and unkempt. The food is stale and substandard and could have been made better by a child. The new staff is friendly, but the older staff seems unmotivated and asks for personal questions.

So this time we ate on site again, 30 minutes after opening, the floor in front of the drinks island was totally sticky and some of the tables too. The bucket was now 30€, the advertised spice was completely missing, there was spiciness, but the rest was pretty bland. This visit was a complete failure this time.

The food didn't taste the same as it did a few years ago. It just tasted salty and no longer had the promised 11 spices. It was "just" breaded chicken, the kind you'd find in the frozen food section of a discount store. But at least the fries were salt-free. Sorry, it used to be good, but now it's just bad. Whether it's the owner's fault or the entire franchise chain, I can't say. I definitely don't recommend this KFC.

So... It's fast food. Normally. Not here. Long wait times (if you're just coming from the highway). Cold fries. Cold burgers. While we were waiting, three customers canceled. The people next to us were gallows humor. Only when two customers complained did two other employees come to help. Missed the point. After over 50 years, the worst experience in fast-food restaurants.

I haven't had any problems with the food so far, although things have been different for some of my friends. Unfortunately, the place is very dirty. I was there at lunch this week, and there were only two other customers besides me. In the 30 minutes, NO ONE even bothered to clean the tables, some of which were really dirty, nor did anyone take care of the drinks area. Everything was sticky and just plain dirty. The solution was simply to put out paper towels, which already looked the part. The sinks are also awful: no soap, everything is full of dirt/mold? Nobody seems to care. Sure, it's not nice or clean at any of the three fast food chains at Kamener Kreuz, but unfortunately, KFC takes it to the next level. It's a shame it's the only place where you can get this kind of chicken.

So, this isn't fast food. Three customers in the store, two of them eating, and me, the third after me, with nothing for a long time. The employees' motivation leaves a lot to be desired; even though I was the only one who ordered something during that time, it took more than 20 minutes... well, if the employees prefer to stand around and have private conversations, that's something to be taken into account. Overall, we're once again disappointed with this store. From now on, we'll learn the lessons.

Staff shortages are clearly noticeable, with at least half an hour of waiting time each time.

This is the dirtiest KFC I've ever experienced. The floor was sticky, not a single clean table, even some of the chairs were sticky. The trash cans were overflowing, and the vending machine was partially black. The food was soggy and the fries were cold.

15:04 in the restaurant there are only 2 service people who take orders, cook, operate the drive and explain that the milkshake machine is not working. Waiting time - too long. Chickens heated in the oven a bit too long. In general, I do not recommend this restaurant, which is significantly different from KFC standards

After there was nothing in the drive for 4 minutes without a message, I thought the system was broken. I backed out and went to the store after parking. I can understand why there was no one behind me. Even in the store, there was no signal from the few but overwhelmed and unmotivated employees that it would take 20 minutes.

Everything is freshly made, so it takes a while, but I don't think that's a bad thing.

If you want to know what things are like in Germany, you should order something to eat here. I have rarely seen such unmotivated and overwhelmed staff. 1 man rocked the place for the other extras. A lot of money for little meat and a lot of breading has nothing to do with food anymore. Increase the citizen's money even more, we're screwed.

Dirty, disorganized, slow and incompetent. Waiting 30 minutes for his food in a half-empty store because a honk forgot it. For the prices it's underground, Toys are simply canceled without replacement for the children, but they are still full price. Children's toys and slides have been broken for years. Close the place.

Besides the general fast food charm, it was a rare visit. The food at KFC is manageable and too greasy for me. So it's better not to come here anymore.

I'm very disappointed, I have to admit! That was my first visit to KFC in my life. The employee had no desire to serve me or take my order! And it wasn't fast food either! I had to wait almost 10 minutes. And so I Dan was in the car and my boss had driven off, I realized that unfortunately a part of 6 was missing, which was a shame!

I've never experienced anything like that! Today we waited 35 minutes for a burger with fries and 10 pieces of Chrispys. Even when I asked how long it would take, there was no proper answer. For other guests, half of their orders were missing or something was wrong. Fries were also totally soggy. The staff didn't try hard at all, rather they were bored!

The food is good, but it's worth checking the order... the staff doesn't pay attention when packing... the order for 40 euros was missing items for 18 euros! I'm really surprised that there are so many things missing... unfortunately, when you talk to your friends and don't put much effort into your work, this is what happens...

I would like to leave a review about the KFC restaurant in Kamen. For over a month, my wife and I have had a nice tradition: We host a family dinner at home on the weekend. I always order online from home and pick up the food from the restaurant. Thank you for the delicious food, friendly service and customer-oriented and responsible attitude. The quality of service and food deserves only the best rating. It's one of the few places that still serves real chicken. Thank you!

Let's start with the good things; the burgers were fresh and tasty. Now for the not so good ones; the curly fries were lukewarm and soggy. The tables and benches were very dirty, as was the toilet.

It was OK, nothing special, the burgers were really tasty, but the fries were really bad and I would have forgotten a small frie but noticed it too late.

We've been here three times during peak hours. Each time, it was extremely dirty, with trash, puddles of drinks, and leftover food everywhere. Tables are rarely cleaned, and chairs and floors are never cleaned. The wait for food was between 20 and 40 minutes each time. I would say the main cause of almost all of the problems here is the lack of staff during peak hours.

Far too long of a wait for cold food in small portions for far too much money. I can't recommend it.
