Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mainz

The fries were rather raw, the chicken pieces weren't hot, just slightly warm (barely edible). The benches were uncomfortable and had no padding. The bar stools were also uncomfortable. Guests aren't welcome for long periods! The staff immediately make it clear that they're not welcome.

Uncle Fred production is consistently going well. One BUT: In the 80s, portions were larger and the prices were cheaper. An IF: Despite the increased prices, I can afford to eat at Kentuky once a year. I can't do it more often, my pension is too small for that. IMHO!

I was at KFC on April 16, 2025 around 11:15 p.m. and unfortunately I was very disappointed. One employee - apparently the shift manager - smelled strongly of alcohol, had glassy eyes and did not appear clear. He was wearing a black shirt, had black hair and was estimated to be around 40 years old. Even though there were still 45 minutes until closing time, I was told that they were no longer making burgers. When I asked, no one wanted to tell me the employee's name or take responsibility. For a well-known brand like KFC, this behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I hope that this incident will be examined internally, because unfortunately it was an absolutely negative experience.

Special praise goes to the branch manager Rami - you can feel his passion and leadership in every detail. You really feel welcome here as a guest. Really great! I've been to KFC Bretzenheim a few times now and have been super satisfied every time. The team there is friendly and in a good mood, you immediately feel welcome.
