WE WERE FIRED!!! We went for dinner as a group of 3. We paid 100 euros for 3 appetizers, salad, drinks and a main course. When we wanted to have tea after the meal, there were people waiting in line and they said they had no tea or coffee and practically told us to go... We couldn't even sit for 1 hour in total. The service was poor. I'm sorry, I won't be choosing this place again. If you want to sit down with your family and have a meal on a Sunday evening and spend some time, don't come here!

Normally, this is one of the best döner kebab places in Mannheim, in my opinion. Today, however, the meat was mostly fat, so I couldn't finish it. Despite complaining several times, they didn't react. I found that very disappointing; it's not usually like that.

The rump steak tasted okay, but at 140g for €32, it was definitely too expensive and too small. The other portions could also have been larger overall. Unfortunately, I wasn't full, even though I have a normal appetite. The noise level was quite high – the place was packed, and it was almost impossible to have a conversation. The automatically served salad was tiny and unappealing. It's clear that quantity takes precedence over quality here. Overall, the food was okay, but disappointing for the price. Definitely not a restaurant I'd visit regularly.

I ate here last night with my girlfriend. We had a mixed appetizer platter, a steak with grilled vegetables, and a salad with grilled chicken. The service was very attentive and friendly. We were frequently asked if we needed anything or if there was anything else we could get. Truly hospitable and welcoming. The food arrived hot and freshly prepared. Everything was perfectly seasoned. We were also constantly offered fresh bread. Excellent food! We were practically standing in the courtyard and spontaneously decided on this restaurant. You could already see from the outside that the place was busy. We chose it because it looked the most inviting. At the table, we sat on well-cushioned, soft chairs. Regarding the noise level mentioned: I like it when it's a bit busier and you can actually live and laugh. In summary, I can say that I would definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Thank you and see you next time :)

World's best doner kebab and lahmacun. Great service and fantastic prices.

The food was truly excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. We ordered the Iskender kebab, the six-ezel kebab, one lahmacun, and two steaks, and they were all delicious. The total price was around €120, and the place was quite crowded. We're definitely planning to come back!

The meat in Adana, Antep, and Urfa was like rubber. Some pieces were even undercooked. The meat in Iskender was nice and thick and also a bit fatty.

With so many customers and orders, nothing should be served cold, and all dishes should be piping hot. Otherwise, as an experienced restaurateur, I can only say that we received old food on top of our order, whether it was the doner kebab, the meat, or the fries!!! After we mentioned this, the meat came back half-burnt, and of course, the taste was still awful! The price was okay, but for the bad experience, it's another zero... Zero love! A very good doner kebab. Juicy even though there's practically no sauce. I'm not a fan of fatty meat, but this one tasted very good. It was my first Angus doner and I liked it much better than a steak doner. I would definitely eat it again and give it a very good 8.6 points.

Mannheim's best restaurant is Angus, and it's very busy. I checked the comments every day, and I realized there were a lot of fake accounts and bad comments. They would sling mud at those who do a good job, and if nothing happened, it would leave a stain. I was very satisfied. Everything was great.

I told my friend, "Come, let me buy you a döner kebab." I wish I hadn't. I paid 30.20€ for 2 döner kebabs in bread, 2 open ayrans, and 2 teas. The döner kebab was delicious, but it's not normal for it to be this expensive. I felt ripped off, like I was in Türkiye. It's not normal for it to be this expensive.

Every time I go there, bugs come out of my salad. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is attentive, but please, let's use natural products once. I would understand if this was the case. I don't understand how often this is washed properly or if it always happens to me.

We (6 people) waited an hour and a half for our food, and when it finally arrived, everything was cold, unseasoned, and tasteless. When we finally complained to the manager about the whole disaster, he personally came over and initially offered us a €50 voucher. Since we're not from Mannheim, I asked if he could do something about the bill. He was accommodating and gave us a €50 discount, which we at least thought was fair – but unfortunately, it doesn't change the overall disappointing experience.

The food today was relatively good, but cold. We ordered yogurt separately, and it was charged €2. We'll give this place a third chance in 2026, but there's room for improvement in many areas.

I couldn't eat my food at all—my plate remained almost untouched after the first bite. The employee was also very rude. When we asked him to inform the chef that we wanted a discount due to the poor quality of the food, he said the chef had refused—but it later turned out he was lying, because when we asked to speak to the chef, he suddenly said the chef wasn't there. A truly bad experience—I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant.

I'm writing this as someone from Adana. I traveled 200 km and ordered a menu called "3-lu kebab". It included Adana, Urfa, and Antep kebabs, but I had the worst meal of my life. Unfortunately, my wife shares the same opinion. However, my daughter liked the hamburger menu.

I was there last night, I wanted Cokertme kebab, my friend ordered saffron roasted meat, both of them were awful, we couldn't eat them at all, saffron roasted meat was boiled meat, they used tomatoes in it at a concert, my saffron roasted meat was simply awful, the potatoes were brown and I told the cordon how is this, I said the saffron potatoes were burnt, he said that's how they do it here, he didn't even apologize, I will never go there again in my life

The burger was delicious, and the food was truly top-notch. But the service left a very unpleasant impression. I asked the waiter for gloves so I could eat the burger more comfortably. I received a very rude response: "NO! Why do you need them? Eat with cutlery." It's not even about the refusal itself—of course, something might not be available—but rather the way I was spoken to: brusque and disrespectful. Unfortunately, I don't know the employee's name, but it was a man with gray hair. What's particularly strange is that on our last visit, a different employee gave us the gloves without any problems. It's a shame that with such good food, the way the staff treats the restaurant ruins its entire impression.

I had sac kavurma, and the fat wasn't even cooked through. It was everything, but it wasn't saç kavurma. After asking three times if they had "acı pul biber" (spicy chili flakes), I was given a strange look and offered the grilled, hot pointed peppers by my companion (!) as a substitute – no decorum or manners at all! Finally, we wanted to pay and had to ask three times (!). In the end, we went to the cash register and were rudely yelled at by the same waiter we asked for the bill, asking why we had stood up.

The meat was partly raw and after I complained nothing happened... Adana was not cooked through, the meat was raw... the kofte was like rubber... the boss comes to the table, I complain again, he nods, says thank you and leaves... no sorry, no question, should we make it again, nothing... disaster! Solid food, bad parking situation

There were two of us. The food was very good, as was the service. If I'm in Mannheim again, I'll definitely come back.

Today we were simply asked to get up because the waiter said the table was reserved. We were already seated, no reservation sign, nothing. It seems they decide based on their own judgment. No compromises. We got up and left, just the hype and passing customers!

The service is great, but unfortunately, Angus's cooking has slipped a bit over time. The skewers weren't cooked all the way through, and some were even burnt… What a shame.

Exceeded my expectations: the lamb was tender and flavorful. The braised vegetables were distinctive yet delicious. The service was very friendly and prompt. The outdoor ambiance was very pleasant. One note: it's a "dry place," meaning there's no alcohol.

I was there today on Sunday. It cost €62 for three people. We had four coffees. There wasn't much choice, for example, there was only melon and a few grapes. There weren't any labels, so you didn't know what you were eating. When I commented that there were too many mosquitoes on the dessert trolley, they covered it with aluminum foil. Breakfast buffet from 8-12 for €15.90 per person. All-you-can-eat. Almost exclusively Turkish cuisine, of course. Large selection. The taste was excellent. Unfortunately, they forgot to plug in the warming device, so the warm food was cold. One star deducted for this. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

We had an appetizer plate on which all the appetizers had gone bad. After we reported it, we received a response saying, "Yeah, I thought so," and an appetizer plate with hairs. The chicken arrived completely raw (pink) twice, and the third time it was completely charred. Absolutely not recommended!

Disappointing evening – core competence and service lacking! Unfortunately, we have to share a very disappointing experience this evening. Six of us visited the steak restaurant and ordered six main courses. Unfortunately, only two of these dishes were satisfactorily prepared. The remaining four steaks were completely undercooked, despite clear instructions (e.g., degree of doneness). We complained immediately. The service was initially keen, and the undercooked dishes were prepared and served again. But the second attempt was also unsuccessful: the dishes were again undercooked. This is particularly disappointing, as the correct preparation of steaks should be the absolute core competence of a steakhouse – a competence that this restaurant clearly lacks. Given this, we expressed our wish not to pay for the two undercooked dishes – a completely understandable request in our view. To our utter dismay, however, the waiter was instructed by the manager to collect the full amount. This is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of customer focus and quality awareness. We cannot recommend this restaurant under these circumstances. A steak restaurant that is unable to prepare steaks properly and then insists on paying for defective food has lost us as customers.

Disappointment across the board: this has nothing to do with steak. Anyone who calls themselves a "steakhouse" should know their stuff. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. Serving a steak medium seems to be a foreign concept in this establishment – what landed on the plate was completely cooked and tough on the first attempt. After a complaint, it was brought again – this time it was so raw that it practically jumped off the plate when I cut it. Any improvement? No sign of improvement. The meat was inedible, the doneness far from what we ordered. After two justified complaints, we were still presented with the bill – according to the waiter, on the orders of the supervisor. No goodwill, no understanding. Anyone expecting good meat and competent service should definitely avoid this place. A waste of the evening and the money. A shame about the one star they had to give; a point would have been enough!

A catastrophic experience – never again! A visit you'd rather forget. We ordered six dishes, of which only two were edible. The rest were completely awful – prepared incorrectly, simply a disgrace. After a complaint, the affected dishes were brought again, but the second attempt was also a complete disappointment. We clearly communicated that we would not pay for these dishes – which would have been more than justified. But instead of showing any understanding or consideration, the manager practically forced the waiter to collect the full price. No apology, no understanding – instead, an arrogant and customer-unfriendly attitude, the likes of which one rarely encounters. The owner and the head waiter were sitting 10 meters away. Both saw the unsuccessful dishes, skillfully ignored them, and continued to chat.

Very good service with a cozy, modern atmosphere. The dishes are freshly prepared and the menu is varied. A top-notch restaurant considering the abundance of options in the area.

The doner meat tasted really good – juicy and well-seasoned. That's a plus point. Unfortunately, there were several negative aspects: The restrooms weren't clean, and the only soap provided was a bottle of dish soap – unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. The cleaning in the dining area was also questionable: Leftover food and breadcrumbs were simply pushed onto the floor with a rag instead of being properly picked up with a dustpan or bucket. This appears unprofessional and unhygienic. The organization wasn't optimal either: Although ordered together, the food arrived at different times – about 10 minutes apart. And to make matters worse, the drinks weren't properly chilled. With a little more cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail, the place would have significantly more potential.

We went there for breakfast around 11 a.m. today and paid full price. Unfortunately, by that time, there was hardly anything left – the buffet seemed like leftovers from the morning, and nothing was refilled. The selection was extremely disappointing. It's really annoying to pay full price for breakfast when there's hardly anything left. In a case like this, a reduced price would have been more than fair. One thing is clear: We definitely won't be coming back, and unfortunately, we can't recommend the breakfast at all.

Two things I would like to point out, though, are that we waited 25 minutes for the server to take our order (although he was very friendly). And the children's menu has very limited selections. I eat here several times a year. The quality is always top-notch! The meat is deliciously seasoned and never dry. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside. It's always an experience for me.
