Disappointment all round – Never again! This restaurant was an absolute disaster! I should have known what to expect when the bread was served. The "fresh" bread was burnt, dry, and tasted like cardboard. You could have hammered nails into a wall with it. Then came the meat – if you can even call it that. A completely carelessly thrown-together, greasy mass that was neither well-seasoned nor appetizing. The meat was tough, full of gristle, and in places simply burnt. Along with that, a few cold, soggy fries – a complete disgrace! ⭐ 0/5 – A culinary outrage!

Very nice place with good food at an affordable price. We were here recently for breakfast and am looking forward to our next visit. :) We paid a total of €34 for two buffet meals and an espresso.

By far the best restaurant in Mannheim. The quality of the meat is always top. I think it's even worth queuing because there are no other decent restaurants in Mannheim. And I've eaten in all of them, especially since I've ordered almost every dish once. I can't even complain about the breakfast. By far my favorite cökertme kebab is unique.

When it comes to unfriendliness, they score 100%. Arrogant service manager. Keep it up!

Mega store! Tastes great and is very clean! The service staff are professionals. At the entrance to the queue you will be welcomed in the Ottoman style with a drum and “osmanlı şerbet”. Unfortunately no warm drinks but super tasty sweets for dessert. My mixed plate was very good, only the Adana was a bit kofta-like, obviously with the amount they are allowed to serve here, mistakes can happen. The rest 1 A!

My absolute favorite kebab in Mannheim. The grill plate is also remarkably good. It is often very crowded in the evenings, but that speaks for the quality and taste of the food.

If it's crowded, definitely don't go in because you'll just sit and eat, you won't be able to enjoy it. The food is a bit expensive and the portions are small. I ordered 1 portion of food and I wasn't satisfied. It's normally a steak restaurant, but they have all kinds of fish, pita bread, grilled food, hamburgers.. The hamburger was delicious, but if you say it's satisfying and price-performance, it won't be enough. If you like steak, you can go there. I don't think I'll go again. There are desserts, but there are no hot drinks. If you're selling kebab, it would be nice to have tea :))

First of all, I would like to positively emphasize that the food was served very quickly despite the full house. That was impressive and shows that the staff is well organized. However, the quick serving meant that we were barely able to enjoy our starter. Since the main course was already served. The main course was OK, but not exceptional.

Stuffed meatballs and lamb küşleme were delicious. Ali is kind, I can say that it was the worst I have ever eaten, the meat was made from angry pieces of veal instead of lamb, the eggplant bed with yoghurt at the bottom was a complete disappointment, it was swimming in oil and had an unpleasant smell and taste, I think it was due to the oil they used. Künefe and katmer were good…

The food here is always TOP. No matter whether Iskender, kebab or the buffet in the morning. The service is always attentive and friendly. The location is very nice. The toilets are a bit old. But otherwise highly recommended.

The service was awesome, very friendly and fast service. The food was absolutely delicious. Me and my boyfriend got the lamb and chicken kebaps with rice. My boyfriend also got an Angus Burger to go - the burger pics were taken when we got home, so not so fresh; but you can still see the good size of the angus. 😋 Last time I went with friends and we all had different plates - just as good as the 1st time I went!

The taste of the food is very good, but the portions are small compared to the prices and we waited in line for a long time.

We were busy at dinner and had to wait a bit. The head waiter helped us. We ate the Angus mixed menu and the three kebab menu. We liked it very much. 👌The attentiveness and friendliness of the waiters as well as the taste were first class.👏 I can recommend it to everyone.

So the food is quite good. What was extremely noticeable on my three visits was that the waiters were very unfriendly. And also smelled extremely like sweat. You should change your shirt. We're talking about a restaurant here. A no-go was that we even charged for tea after the meal. I've never experienced anything like that anywhere

Really delicious food and you are treated very warmly, but the fact that there is filming every weekend or the surveys that take place is very annoying. You're always somehow in the background of some kind of video or being asked if you're making a video. Which would be okay, but every weekend is just too much. If it weren't for that I would give 5 stars because everything else is perfect.

Everything we ate that day was really delicious. The kebab was extremely good, I can practically say VERY GOOD. I can recommend the restaurant, but there is a point deduction for TEA! Yes, you read that right, tea, they charged almost 2€ for a small tea (small tea glasses) when everyone else wanted to serve it at the house's expense and see the money for it. Well, I experienced this for the first time. This is an absolute NO GO! This is how I remember this shop: the restaurant that wanted money for tea! We were spontaneously in Mannheim today and got hungry. We are at this restaurant because the ambience is very attractive. Asked if a table for 21 people would be possible and even though the restaurant was so full, after waiting 20 minutes it was actually possible for us! Service was super friendly, food came very quickly and everything went great! Whole family is very happy with everything! It's definitely worth a visit again :)

Make a statement!!! During our last stay in Mannheim we had breakfast at Anggus and were completely surprised by the diverse selection of Turkish cuisine. Both starters and full main courses as well as desserts are very tasty and can be highly recommended. We will definitely have to pay another visit the next time we visit Mannheim.

Great, fast service and the food was amazing!! Had steak and lamb and both were very good! Gladly again! We were there on a Sunday around 7 p.m. Since the restaurant is busy, it's a bit busy. If that doesn't bother you (like us), you'll be rewarded with very good food and nice, fast service!

I had breakfast on Sunday at Anggus Restaurant, which offered an extensive buffet with a wide variety of dishes. There was an impressive selection of baked goods, cheeses, desserts, appetizers and much more. Even though the restaurant was completely full, I was very impressed by the variety of dishes and the quick service. The employees always refilled the dishes quickly as soon as they were almost empty. A truly recommended experience!

A portion of mixed grill cost 27.99 euros and the paste in it looked like it was just tomato paste, the peppers and tomatoes on the plate were cold, the kebab meat was also cold.. and as a result I wanted a tea and 2 euros paid for it, the service was not appropriate for the price, I was not satisfied.

Dear Angus team, I visited you for the first time today during my lunch break. I had great expectations and was very disappointed. I had soup as a starter and then a Karisik grill plate. Salad and meat quality were really poor! The meat was on the grill too short (chicken) or too long (lamb) and definitely not fresh. Overall it was just bad! The service was a bright spot! I hope you don't take my criticism personally, but seriously and deal with it so that other guests don't feel the same way! VG S.K.

Insanely delicious food. Great service. Very well attended, hardly a table remained empty for more than a minute and yet everything was perfect. The waitress was always there if the drink was empty or if you wanted to make another request. It was like telepathy. A huge respect for everyone involved. Toilets clean, outside area clean. Freshly prepared, which you could clearly taste. Not cheap but absolutely worth it. Thank you for the lovely evening. Unfortunately, the pictures don't really capture what the eye was able to experience. There were 22 of us and everyone was 100% satisfied.

The restaurant is beautifully done The ambience, the music in the background makes you feel comfortable. We were there on Saturday and the restaurant was full, but everything went really quickly. The lokum I ordered tasted good but the pieces of meat for lokum were very thick. The prices for the portions are also too high.

Doner was just ok. Starter -1, why minus one: bread hard and dry and with it there was a salad, if you can call it that, a fat cucumber otherwise just lettuce leaves with a sauce that doesn't go with it. Normally you get at least 2 dips if you order a plate at any other kebab restaurant. Fries were lukewarm. Never again

It really is by far the best Turkish restaurant in Mannheim and the surrounding area. Today I'm surprised again how good the mezze plate tastes here. I've already been won over by the grilled dishes and the kebab. Despite high frequency, very good service and quality is offered 👏🏻👏🏻

If you can make room for six people when the store is full without any fuss, that's the sixth star for service, which was already very friendly and accommodating. And quickly. Class. Food just as excellent. Starter platter with various dips and salads, with flat bread. All main courses were great. Can recommend beef and lamb, chicken was also praised. Desserts too, these are typically very sweet. All drinks are non-alcoholic. The community of Turkish origin also eats there: a sign of quality.

Apparently wheelchair users are not welcome here. This was also confirmed to us when we asked whether this was the case. Beforehand, no one wanted to explain the menu to us or otherwise help us order. Sorry, not everyone knows Turkish cuisine. And when someone asks for help, decency dictates that they help... Especially in the catering industry. We have never been treated so stubbornly and unempatheticly before. We're out and we're never going there again.

I went on recommendation. How can it be that the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant are so far apart? I can't say the service is too bad, but there is something wrong. The waiters also don't seem to understand the contradictory prices and contents on the menu. Iskender had a lot of tomato paste and very little butter. Plus, I've eaten in so many restaurants in Germany that I've never seen such small portions. As a foodie, I went home hungry, unsatisfied and unhappy. Last time, before I left the place, I realized that I was just idly eating bread.

We had dinner at Anggus Restaurant 3 hours ago today, with 2 adults and 3 children. The queue in front of the restaurant was long, like everyone else's, but we got there quickly. We ordered Anggus Karisik, Pirzola, Lokum Steak and Cheeseburger. The burger was truly the best burger I have ever eaten. Previously also at Medina Steackhouse but the Anggus Cheeseburger is on top. The other dishes were also very tasty, although we really enjoyed the Anggus kebab meat. The service team was very friendly, everything was perfect. A big thank you to the team and especially Ramazan Usta from the kitchen. Ellerine sağlık! We definitely recommend it and will come more often.

A little tip if you want more than 5 people to come to the breakfast buffet you should make a reservation on the weekend, it is always full.

The salad for starters had a yellow sauce, which I didn’t like. It would be better if the waiter had asked before putting it on the salad. I ordered a mixed meal with Adana kebap and chicken. Well the price was 17,90 Euros but I was disappointed when I saw rather small 4-5 pieces of chicken. And the Adana kebap was small in amount too. It tasted good but one should feel somewhat full when 20 Euros are paid, including drinks. My opinion is, if the meat is that expensive, increase the price, but do not keep the portion that small.
