Kabab sara /Grill Haus Sara in Mannheim

The food is very good. Freshly baked bread. The ambiance is just not inviting. Renovations are in order.

We recently ate at an Iraqi-Kurdish restaurant and overall, we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was busy, so we had to wait a bit longer for a table and for the food. Our lamb skewer was authentic and aromatically seasoned. I would particularly like to highlight the freshly baked bread, which tasted truly outstanding. I would go back for that alone. Unfortunately, the menu didn't list the prices for any of the dishes, which made ordering a bit difficult. Nevertheless, this is a recommended restaurant for anyone who enjoys good Kurdish cuisine and can tolerate a bit of a wait.

Super tasty flatbreads are baked in a tandoor. We were delighted with the fresh, hot flatbreads, and took some with us.

A very bad restaurant, and the work is the worst and the worst people I have ever seen in my life. I mean, 4 people, and every now and then they bring one loaf of bread, and it is cold like ice. Even the restaurant manager is not there. I swear, I paid money for 4 people and left. I swear, I didn’t eat anything. I swear, I left food on the table. God is my witness.

If you can describe the taste in one word 'سبحان اللہ'. They are making lamb kebabs and chicken tika kababs fresh and have live tandoor inside. Where you can get fresh Khubs/Roti/Chapati whatever you call it. Even though it seems an arabic/kurdish restaurant but if you are from India/Pakistan do give it a try.

And got some bread on the way home...🥰

You shouldn't expect a super fancy restaurant here. It is kept simple but has very tasty cuisine! The bread is a 10/10! And like all other dishes, Kabab Sara is definitely recommended!

This is the perfect place to taste traditional Iraqi food :) The staff is very respectful, and sociable. The food is great. Prices are reasonable.

Lecker wars. Wir hatten die Hähnchenspieße. Sehr saftig, gut gewürzt und gegrillt, dazu ein bisschen Salat und gegrillte Tomaten und frisch gebackenes Fladenbrot. Insgesamt lecker, aber uns hat Hummus oder Joghurt dazu gefehlt. Aber auf Nachfrage haben wir eine Schale Joghurt bekommen. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, allerdings mit geringen Deutschkenntnissen, dafür gutes Englisch.

Essen schmeckt gut. Nur die Tische müssen auch immer sauber sein und der Boden auch. Sonst hat man kann Lust auf das Essen. Bedienung könnte auch noch ein bisschen nett sein nicht nur hin liegen und gehen.

5 Sterne sind nicht genug. Super service. Wir hatten Kepap mit Reis und bekamen Suppe gratis dazu. Es war mega mega lecker und hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant ist aber etwas zu klein. Ansonsten top

Sehr authentisch-kurdisches Essen aus dem Irak. Das Kebap schmeckt wie in der Heimat und ist sehr sehr lecker.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und preiswert. Das Brot wird frisch im Holzofen gebacken und die Spieße (Lamm, Hähnchen, Hackfleisch oder Innereien) kommen knusprig und dampfend vom Holzkohlegrill auf den Tisch. Der Service ist schnell und bemüht, die Deutschkenntnisse sind vielleicht noch verbesserungsfähig. Das Ambiente ... : es ist ein kleiner einfacher Imbiß mit wenigen Tischen. Gemütlich ist anders, aber das Essen ist spitze.

Klein aber fein! Wer, gerne orientalisch essen möchte, kann gerne mal vorbei kommen. Lohnt sich. Vor allem wegen der Preise. 👍
