We had a delicious meal. Thank you for the kind hospitality!

In our opinion, a good, average restaurant: menu, ambiance, and service. The goat cheese salad was good, but no better than in other restaurants; we found the soup very tasty; the sea bass was decent, but lacked flavor; the apricot dumplings were a bit tough and far from the original Austrian fare. The service was professional, but lacking warmth. All in all, average and too expensive.

The food here is truly excellent! Great dishes! A lovely little garden in a quiet courtyard.

We ate at the Badischer Hof the day before yesterday and were very satisfied! The food was very good, the service excellent, and the advice really good! Nice place, very good food—if we're in the area again, we'll go back! Be sure to try the chocolate mousse!

The price-performance ratio is really poor. The starter plate for 18.50: 2 slices each of zucchini and eggplant, 1 piece of bell pepper, a tiny amount of ham and smoked salmon, and the smallest pan of goat cheese in the world. Not to mention 2 olives. That's cheeky. The main course, for just under 30 euros, was the cordon bleu. Again, a small portion and a small portion of fried potatoes. No salad. The taste was a bit dry and very salty. And that's not exactly filling. We paid 108 euros for two people. Conclusion: no thanks.

We were there today for a wedding reception. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere. Nothing to complain about. We'd love to come back.

Das Essen wird lieblos serviert, die Kommentare sind überflüssig und unterirdisch! Da sollte mal was passieren, sonst werden die Gäste eher nicht wiederkommen! Absolutely! This restaurant is located in the heart of Mannheim-Seckenheim. Everything was very clean. The garden setting was lovely. The food was absolutely excellent. The staff was very attentive. It was another thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The food was quite good: the quality of the meat was excellent (although the meat was rare rather than medium), the sauce was very good (unfortunately too little), but the vegetables were overcooked. The service was a disaster. Unfriendly and uninviting even upon entering; you could hear all the waiters' conversations over the guests. The ambiance is debatable. Very old-fashioned, with radio music in the background, artificial flowers, and wilted real ones. The soft drink cooler on the serving plate completely ruined the picture. The value for money is debatable, but in this case, you're certainly paying for the good quality of the ingredients, but not for the service.

Wir (4 Personen waren) waren vom Abend und der Lokalität enttäuscht. Schon beim Betreten des Lokals wurden wir bspw. gefragt, ob wir reserviert hatten, obwohl das Lokal bis auf einen besetzten Tisch komplett leer war. Eine herzliche Begrüßung fand nicht statt. Mangelhaft war der Service an diesem Abend. Ständig mussten wir nach der Bedienung Ausschau halten, um nicht zu verdursten - die quatschte lieber mit dem Koch, als sich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Von 2 bestellten Weizenbieren kam eins nicht aus der Kühlung und war entsprechend warm (wurde aber nach Reklamation getauscht). Das Essen war ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Bei dem Preisniveau hätte man mehr bieten müssen. Vielleicht war das auch der Grund, warum das Lokal leer war. Dass es in der Bewertung kein "ausreichend" gibt und es kein "befriedigend" war, bleibt mir deshalb nur ein "mangelhaft". Dennoch geben wir dem Lokal eine zweite Chance und werden es in ein paar Monaten nochmal besuchen.

Wir waren mit Freunden hier und wurden leider ziemlich enttäuscht. Schon der Empfang ließ jede Herzlichkeit vermissen – obwohl das Lokal leer war (und es auch blieb), wurden wir nach einer Reservierung gefragt. Der Service war unaufmerksam; wir mussten die Bedienung regelrecht suchen, während sie sich lieber in ein Gespräch mit dem Koch vertiefte, als sich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Das Essen war ganz okay, dem aufgerufenen Preisniveau aber keinesfalls angemessen. Vielleicht erklärt das auch, warum das Lokal so leer war. Unterm Strich: So schnell sehen die mich nicht wieder.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our schnitzel with potatoes was definitely too fatty. The veal wasn't top-notch in terms of quality. The fries were anything but excellent, too. I'm surprised how the countless outstanding reviews came about here. That's the only reason we made the trip to Seckenheim. Overall, I consider the restaurant absolutely mediocre.

We were guests at the Badischer Hof in Seckenheim last night and were completely thrilled. We were warmly welcomed at the reception - not only us, but also our dachshund Carlos, who also felt welcome. The menu is attractively put together and offers something to suit every taste. Our food was excellently prepared, tasted great and lovingly prepared. Particularly worth mentioning: the homemade chocolates - a sweet ending that will definitely stay in your memory. The service was attentive, friendly and authentically hospitable – exactly how you would imagine a successful visit to a restaurant to be. We'd love to come back!

Four of us actually went to the Badischer Hof in Seckenheim for the first time. The food on offer is really excellent and all 4 selected dishes were absolutely convincing. The service was also impeccable, a really friendly professional was at work. All in all we were completely satisfied!

Schönes Ambiente, gehobene gute deutsche Küche. Personal (besonders einer der beiden Herren) hochnäsig und arrogant. Sehr kurz und schnippig mit sonderbarem Humor. Wir waren das erste Mal da, werden aber nicht mehr hingehen. Man hat fast ein schlechtes Gewissen wenn man etwas bestellen oder nachbestellen möchte.

"prepared with products directly from the region". Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The vegetables were French beans and zucchini. These are summer vegetables for me. There are enough vegetables that could have been seasonal and regional. Unfortunately the meat in the roulade was also very dry. The schnitzel with potatoes only had cranberries. A mini salad arrangement would definitely have visually enhanced the meal. It's a shame, I was hoping for more.

Reservation confirmation was canceled with an incomprehensible explanation of a system error. The phone was unceremoniously hung up in the middle of the conversation... very unfortunate!

Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Das Restaurant modern, angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte hat sehr viel zu bieten, aber in einem Rahmen, der nicht überfordert. Saisonale Produkte sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Gute Beratung bei der Auswahl der Getränke. Preis- Leisungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!

Edit: We celebrated our civil wedding celebration in the wine shop. Mr. Sarto, who looked after and entertained us, is a very friendly and nice man. From the planning to the celebration, everything went like clockwork. Thank you for everything! Online presence was good. First impression of the restaurant was quiet, a bit more upscale, subtle furnishings/decor. The welcome was super nice. The waiter was extremely friendly and entertained and entertained us throughout the evening! We had three courses. Super delicious! Appetizer platter and three kinds of goat cheese was awesome! The cheeks with blanched vegetables and fried potatoes were extremely delicate! The mousse au chocolat was good, but unfortunately a bit too bitter for me. Unfortunately, the marinated fruit that was on the plate didn't meet my taste either. Despite everything, the overall taste of our food was at the highest level! We'll definitely be back :) PS: Everyone was very child-friendly, even if the little man was always messing around and sometimes got in the way of the waiters :D

We were recently at the Badischer Hof in Seckenheim. We were disappointed with the service and partly the food. My granddaughter politely asked if she could have a schnitzel with fried potatoes instead of the Leberkäse. This was immediately rejected on the grounds that it could not be calculated. In every pub you can, for example, swap spaetzle for fried potatoes. I was looking forward to tender cheeks with potato foam. I got spaetzle with some very tough meat laced with tendons for €27. My dessert, panna cotta, was also carelessly placed in front of me without any imagination for a nice place setting. I think we won't be visiting the Badischer Hof in Seckenheim again in the future.

The service was very inflexible and responded to a change request with a “…that’s not possible, we can’t bill for that…”. Questions were answered bluntly several times. All the food we ordered had the same vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, sugar pods). Overall, not much creativity for the price. I wouldn't recommend it.

Very good food, top quality, menu is more for meat fans. You'll definitely be full, especially the desserts are sumptuous... Three-course meals are hard to manage given the quantity, difficult dilemma as to whether starter or dessert...

Es ist ein hervorragendes Restaurant, mit sehr aufmerksamen Service, Lecker die Maultaschen Suppe und Dreierlei Gratin vom Ziegenkäse , gern mehr davon und geschmackvoll Die Hirschmedaillons mit Kräuterkruste, Preiselbeersauce, Schupfnudeln und Rosenkohl war butterzart, echt lecker ( a bisserl wenig Fleisch) und die Trüffelpasta mit knusprigen Gemüse war genau so lecker ( einzig die Pilze die nicht auf der Karte dabei standen) hatte ich abgewählt wenn ich es gewusst hätte) Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal da, für uns eine klare Empfehlung.

We eat there regularly. There is a permanent and a changing card. There are always delicious dishes on the changing menu. The current falafels with hummus are great, from the previous menu oyster mushrooms with pumpkin risotto, before that sea bass with lime risotto. The lime risotto was a blast, sensational. And everything is nicely prepared and good portions.

Wir kommen bald wieder um die anderen Gerichte auszuprobieren. Es war ein schöner Abend, das Essen war toll und sehr schmackhaft. Die Bedienung war besonders aufmerksam.

Great restaurant centrally located on the main street in Seckenheim. The atmosphere is cozy in the renovated historic building. In summer there is also a beautiful courtyard with shady spots. Reservation is recommended. The kitchen uses regional, high-quality and fresh ingredients. The dishes are modern classics of German cuisine and regional specialties; there is always a varied seasonal menu and a cheap lunch menu on weekdays. The service is attentive and friendly. The beer and wine selection is also regionally oriented and consistent. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine for the quality offered. Also highly recommended for celebrations as it is very well organized. We always enjoy coming back when we are in Mannheim.

Nice, cozy guest room where you immediately feel at home. Varied menu that places emphasis on quality, beef from the Hohenlohe and Swabian Hällisches Landschwein. You can also feel the proximity to the Palatinate - the wine is still served as a quarter. Also very suitable for family celebrations. We'd love to come back.

Wir hatten reserviert. Als wir dort ankamen wurde uns freundlich mitgeteilt, dass alles voll sei. Jemand anderes mit dem gleichen Nachnamen hatte unseren Platz bekommen. Es wurde uns angeboten zu warten bis jemand bezahlt hätte. Da wir aber Hunger hatten, sind wir dann woanders hin gegangen.

Es war wie immer lecker und der Service sehr freundlich.

Bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse gesessen. Der Kellner war alleine, aber trotzdem schnell und freundlich. Essen war wie immer sehr gut, bürgerliches Essen mit Raffinesse zubereitet. Die Küche ist hervorragend, der Service ist sehr freundlich. Ich hatte für eine Familien Feier Reserviert das Essen alla Karte gewählt. Es hat alles super geklappt und alle Essen waren hervorragend. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und zum satt werden vollkommen ausreichend. Es kam innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Die Bedienung war sehr höflich und nicht aufdringlich und konnte speziellere Fragen kompetent beantworten. Ein wiederholter Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Das vegane Angebot könnte allerdings noch ausgebaut werden.
