Kalea Poke Corner in Mannheim

Even though the store is definitely a gentrification hipster store that isn't good for the neighborhood in the long term, we gave it a chance. The atmosphere...well, it's practically non-existent. The food was fresh for us, but the food has nothing to do with the name of the restaurant. This was dry rice with raw vegetables. That's it. The value of the meal is estimated at 1.50 (very generous estimate), but the price is horrendous. But the cold chicken wasn't tasty either... no, sorry. Rather not.

I've eaten here a few times and every time it's been a pleasure. The ambience is nice and calm, especially the interior design is very pleasing to the eye, with coordinated and harmonious colors you really feel like you are in Hawaii! The food is outstanding. Not only is it a unique idea for a restaurant in the area, but the dishes themselves are also delicious and soothing for the soul. The staff is always friendly and you feel welcome. A good insider tip for everyone who appreciates fresh but exceptional cuisine!

We love Kalea Poke Corner and we LOVE your bowls. We try to order regularly in the current situation... even if we would prefer to stay with you a little longer, we always look forward to your bowls. Not to forget dessert! EVERYONE should try it. My absolute favorite bowl is the Honolulu with fruity mango. Keep it up. Fresh and Healthy Food for Fresh People!!! Something completely different to the other dishes on offer. And what's also crucial for me to keep coming back!, the homemade shrapnel. I'm looking forward to eating in the beautiful location again, but luckily the food is available to take away and in environmentally friendly packaging. I'm fully convinced and a fan, it's nice that there is a store like this in Mannheim.

Really great tasty light food. Not only does it look great but it also tastes fresh and simply different. A delicious change from everything else. The store had a summery Hawaiian atmosphere and the staff was always friendly and in a good mood. ☀️🏝❤️

I am always completely thrilled by the delicious bowls at Kalea... No matter whether they are recommendations from the menu or put together according to my personal desires! They are always great and, above all, freshly prepared, beautifully presented and really delicious! The staff is very warm and the atmosphere is also very nice. It's a shame that you can't eat on site at the moment, but it's even better that you now have the option to have it delivered! Really great, keep it up

I love the bowls from Kalea Poke! I particularly like the bowls with wasabi sauce and my absolute favorite is Bea's Bowl. So far I have always been very happy with my bowls because they are delicious, fresh and healthy! I think the delivery service is particularly great and I'm happy to be able to order food to my home.

Super cute shop! The poke bowls are awesome and the fish is much fresher than most sushi restaurants! Definitely worth a visit, a solid 10/10

Nicht zu empfehlen! Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Ich habe in unzähligen anderen Läden Poke Powls gegessen, das war einer der schlechtesten. Der Reis (kein Sushi Reis sondern was günstiges) war nicht durch, total hart! Die Saucen langweilig, die Zutaten billig und geschmakslos. Mit ein paar extra Zutaten 35 Euro für zwei Bowls ist eine Frechheit dafür. Sehr-sehr schade, weil in Mannheim fehlte ein Poke Laden. Personal war sehr freundlich.

Sehr freundliches Personal und Besitzer. Gute Stimmung. Die Karte ist klein, was ja meist für die Frische spricht. Das Essen war lecker! Habe eine Bowl zum Mitnehmen geholt und mich sehr gefreut, dass ich hierfür mein eigenes Gefäß mitbringen konnte.

Hingehen und Hawaii schmecken! Super lecker, alles immer sehr frisch was hier in die Bowl kommt! Personal auch immer sehr nett!

Ich war zufällig in der Nähe und war mehr als nur überrascht. Ich kannte bis dato kein hawaiianisches Essen,... Mega lecker, leicht verträglich und top Qualität.

Wir sind zu viert aus der Pfalz angereist und waren begeistert. Alle 4 Bowls unterschiedlicher Art waren lecker und frisch und die Zusammenstellung der einzelnen Lebensmittel sehr interessant. Positiv zu erwähnen wäre auch das landestypische Bier, das geschmacklich gut ist. Wir kommen bald wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt.

Dass Poke Bowls voll im Trend liegen und entsprechende Lokalitäten jetzt überall wie Pilze aus dem Boden sprießen, tut diesem neuen Angebot in der Neckarstadt Ost keinen Abbruch. Im Gegenteil. Die Bowls sind qualitativ hochwertig, frisch und lecker. Die Variationsbandbreite der Zutaten und Saucen ist hoch und dadurch kann das Essen immer abwechslungsreich gestaltet werden. Das Personal ist auskunftsfreudig und berät Bowl-Neulinge gern und ausführlich. Das Ambiente ist modern und doch gemütlich. Dazu empfiehlt sich eines der Hawaiianischen Biere. (5Sorten, am besten alle probieren). Eine Bereicherung.

Bowls werden hier zumeist kalt gereicht. Das muss dem Gast vorher erklärt werden, welche Bowls warm sind und welche nicht. Geht weder aus der Karte hervor noch wird man vom Service darauf hingewiesen. Sonst ist der Esser über eiskalten Reis mit eiskalten Toppings verwundert. Gerade auch wenn der Sitzbereich nicht geheizt wird und man somit von außen und innen friert. Qualität der Zutaten schien gut. Portionsgröße überdenkbar: Selbst für gute Esser reicht kleine 10€ Portion statt die große (13€).

Wer es frisch und gesund mag, ist hier genau richtig! Ich bin mehr als begeistert, diese kulinarische Bereicherung in der Neckarstadt zu haben. Mein Favorit sind die Rolls mit frischem Lachs oder Thunfisch. Macht weiter so!

Eine Bereicherung für die Neckarstadt. Super Fischqualität und sehr frische Zutaten. Man kann alle Zutaten selbst zusammenstellen oder aus den Bowls von der Karte wählen und diese nach Wunsch anpassen. Die Soßen sind sehr lecker und es gibt auch sehr leckeres Dessert. Die Damen hinter dem Tresen sind sehr nett und erfüllen jeden Wunsch sehr gerne. Da verzeiht man auch kleinere Fehler bei der Bestellungsaufnahme. Das Ambiente ist modern und etwas kühl. Wir kommen sehr gerne her und genießen die leckeren Bowls.

Das Essen ist mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Die Bowls sind hauptsächlich kalt zubereitet. Daher eher für den Sommer geeignet, es sei denn, man liebt kaltes Essen auch im Winter. Geschmacklich sehr gut.

Das Essen sollte warm sein, war es aber leider nicht.

Tandoori Chicken Bowl... ein Traum!

Lecker, im Grunde ist es geschmacklich wie sushi, da es auch "kalt" serviert wird. Tut dem Geschmack keinen Abbruch.
