Kangs in Füssen

I ordered boiled fish, and when they scooped it all out, I didn't see any whole pieces of fish, just tiny pieces the size of my fingertip, less than half a bowl in total. They said they were open until 8:30, but when we were eating at 8:00, the chef in the kitchen shouted, "It's 8 o'clock! We have to close for lunch!" I've never seen a business operate like this.

I can't understand the euphoric reviews. We were the only guests on Sunday at lunchtime. The server didn't speak a word of German and didn't even greet us. The atmosphere is slightly dingy and run-down. The food was some of the worst Asian food I've had in a long time—and we eat Asian food often. The soup wasn't piping hot—obviously reheated. The main course, "Three Treasures of the Earth," looked delicious, but consisted mostly of overcooked, grease-soaked eggplant and potatoes, thickened to a slimy consistency. The ginger tea was just hot water and a Meßmer tea bag. Never again.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and had a very disappointing experience. The place was almost full, and we waited for almost 10 minutes, but nobody came to seat us or even acknowledge us. There was no staff attending to customers at the entrance. Eventually, someone from the kitchen gave a vague hand gesture, which we had to interpret as “no or go away” There was no proper communication at all. If the restaurant was hosting a private event or something of that sort( which we assumed ), it should have been clearly mentioned outside. We walked in because the door was open, and there was no sign or staff to inform us. This is not the way to treat customers, we didn’t come to eat for free. Basic courtesy and clear communication go a long way, and unfortunately, this was completely missing here.

Great authentic Chinese food in southern Germany

Wonderfully authentic cuisine! Apart from us, the only guests were Chinese, which speaks for itself. 🙏

Ordered spicy beef and green beans. A lil disappointed but maybe bcs I set the high expectations since many Chinese people eating here and restaurant’s rating is high. Spicy beef was okay, green beans really salty, the man offered us to bring some new, but we don’t have much time so we refused it.

Because the dishes for group tours are smaller, I don’t have time to take pictures. They are simple home-cooked dishes.

We chose the restaurant based on Google reviews. Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised. The quality of the products left much to be desired, as did the number of vegetables in the dishes. The curry sauce was powdered. The meat in every dish was dry, tough, and of terrible quality. The soup was burnt! Furthermore, the "family atmosphere" was noticeable; it was very inelegant and uncomfortable. We had to pull the staff away from our food to pay. The decor was very austere, and on top of that, they have Christmas decorations up in August! We do not recommend it and will definitely not return.

I can only speak about the fried rice, but the spices were definitely missing completely and were probably just there when it was fried. Maybe things will get better in the future. Otherwise great atmosphere and super nice staff.

Absolutely delicious food. The lamm with cumin was one of the best Chinese foods we have ever eaten. Very relaxed atmosphere, spacious and nice service. The food has great flavor and authentic character. We hightly recommend it. The green beans with chili were also delicious as well as the mapo tofu.

Good ambiance and Great food, as close to authentic as you can get here. The staff were really accommodating and nice too, they even went out of their way to make 辣子鸡for me! Will recommend for anyone that’s nearby and is craving delicious food !

I don't know if the restaurant still exists. We wanted to eat there and came back at the specified opening time after waiting 2 hours. Everything was dark and we were even more hungry by now. At least there would have been a sign posted indicating renovations, closures or something else, but no, even the menu was posted with opening times. There was no notice on the website either. In the meantime we could have eaten somewhere else. Very annoying..

Insider tip! Very tasty, fresh food, not too spicy, not too greasy. Absolute recommendation. My grandma liked it too.

To be fair we popped in for a quick bite after arriving to Fussen very late. They were very gracious to serve us. Very charming server! She was so sweet.

Scrumptious Sour fish soup, totally authentic and (pretty) 🌶. Ask for the Chinese Menu which has pictures and German/English translations of Chinese. This is the real deal. One of best such soups I ever had in Europe. We used to live in HK and only appreciate authentic food! Please advertise yourselves and this menu with pictures to support your great restaurant.

Waren heute abend essen. Sehr schönes Lokal und sehr leckeres Essen. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten Garnelen mit Curry, bambussprossen und paprika. Soviel Garnelen hatte ich noch nie in einem Lokal. Geschmacklich hervorragend. Preis/Leistung top. Sehr zu empfehlen.
