You have to make a reservation but the food is great and the service was very nice.

After being so impressed last year, we reserved a table again for this vacation. We arrived, ordered sparkling wine, and ordered the main course, including drinks. The sparkling wine arrived and was delicious, but now you're losing sight of the service. The candles aren't lit. Little things that make a big difference. The main course arrives, but there's no cutlery yet. The drinks are also missing. The best meal in the world isn't complete without tools and the right drink. We asked, and the drinks finally arrived. The food was good as usual, but we sat there with empty plates for a relatively long time. We then paid, and by the time we got up, the table was already being set. A little more time to leave would have been appropriate. I hope that the abysmal service on this day remains an exception. Good food alone isn't enough.

This is a great place to stop! Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and the best Kasspatzen I've ever eaten!

Average. Efficient and fast service, but the beef paupiettes weren't very tender... We were also charged €1 for asking to replace my partner's dumplings with fries (fries that the restaurant already serves with several of its other dishes...). It's only €1, but it's not very commercial in principle, since it's neither an extra charge, nor more expensive than the standard side dish, nor a very "special" request; just plain fries...

It was a busy Friday night, but we were served incredibly quickly. The food was delicious, and there was a lovely atmosphere. Generous portions and good value for money.

Non parlando tedesco il gestore mi ha fatto trovare la seconda e la terza sera il menù in italiano. Mi ha risevato un tavolo le due sere successive alla prima. Carne molto buona e servita bene. Ottimi ravioli con formaggio e spinaci; ottimo l'involtino di cavolo verzo con carne macinata; ottimi i cavoli in pastella e l'involtino di manzo con verdure. Tutto fatto in casa e cucinato al momento. Rapporto prezzo qualità buono. Spero di ritornare. Comunque lo consiglio.

We were there today, and the food was very, very good. The cheese spaetzle was a bit different, but still great! Very friendly staff, and the price/performance ratio was also right.

Good Bavarian home cooking with a high standard. Friendly, unpretentious service. The roast veal with a roll consisted of two small, thin slices, more fat and a slightly tough filling, rather than a light pastry with small, chopped, cooked onions. Only the side dishes were sufficient.

Wir waren am 02.07.25 an einem Aussentisch.Wurden freundlich begrüßt. Der gutgelaunte und höfliche Kellner hat uns sofort die Spiesenkarten gebracht.Nach unserer Bestellung bekamen wir rasch unsere Getränke sowie das Essen.Wir hatten Schweinebraten mit Knödel und Rotkohl,Zwiebelrostbraten mit Beilagen und ein Cordon Bleu mit Beilagen.Alle drei Gerichte waren top.Haben selten so gut gegessen.Können wir absolut empfehlen.Immer wieder gern.

We've never eaten such a delicious salad anywhere. We shared the mixed salad with fresh mushrooms as a starter. Brilliant! After 10 days of pasta and other delicacies, we followed it up with a delicious roast pork with bread dumplings and red cabbage. Absolutely delicious😍... unfortunately, no photos.🥹

I actually wanted to order meatballs, but unfortunately they were sold out. So I decided on the baked pike. The fish was just about okay, the potato salad wasn't great. The one from Aldi tastes better. The staff is totally weird, and the guests are cringe-worthy and bother you while you eat, like antisocial people. Probably just the thing for uptight squares. Goodbye.

Excellent typical restaurant in the center of Füssen, we tried the cutlet with fried potatoes and the dish with roast pork, sauerkraut and pseudo-cheese dumplings. Very friendly service, if there is not a table immediately available they make you wait in a dedicated area and within a short time they make you sit down.

Nice place in a lovely area, we had a few drinks and Bavarian cuisine. The menu was in German but the waiter explained us everything we had questions about. Was such a treat to visit this place after exploring Schloss Neuschwanstein!

Stopped in for lunch alone. Had very good Vietnamese spring rolls as a starter. After that, we went for something more classic, with Maultaschen (ravioli) and truly homemade potato salad. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was charming and prompt. The ambiance invites you to linger. A very good wine list and a good selection of wines by the glass. For me, this is an absolutely perfect restaurant where I would go again and again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Good food in a friendly atmosphere with attentive staff. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes for our table to become available. Without a reservation, we wouldn't have been able to get a table at all.

I'd love to give them 6 stars for the food. I won't forget the venison roast I ate for a long time. It was so tender and delicious, and there was a wide variety of side dishes, from asparagus and red cabbage to homemade spaetzle. And the beer is worth every drunken trip...

Authentic Bavarian cuisine is served here! We especially recommend the venison goulash or the roast pork, definitely with red cabbage! The atmosphere is also very cozy; we felt completely at home :)

The service left a lot to be desired. The wait was long; one cyclist moved on after 15 minutes of patience. The food was quite good, and so were the drinks.

We had lunch at Schwanen today on our Füssen tour and can recommend it with a clear conscience. We had the cheese spaetzle plus a side salad, both very good, the cheese spaetzle with a good cheese that also has taste and the salad with a good dressing and a good mix of different ingredients. Our w dish was the roast pork, which was nice and tender, the red cabbage was also great, the sauce and the bread dumplings could have had a bit more oomph, in the sauce a dash more beer and a pinch of salt and in the dumplings a touch of nutmeg and a pinch more salt, then it would be perfect! But there is salt on the table with food, so you can help yourself. What was very positive was the service, thank you Teresa, she knows what she is doing, friendly, very attentive and also calm and experienced when it gets busier 👍 a SUPER service person 👌 We would always like to stop by when we are nearby 😀

First of all, I didn’t make a reservation, but the waiter (a man) said very enthusiastically that there was no seat in the restaurant, but there was a seat in the bar. The smiling face and the welcoming service were very good (the best service in the past ten days in Germany). I ordered hot beef dumpling soup (beef balls) as an appetizer. It was a Japanese-style clear soup, very light and sweet. The meatballs were delicious. The main course was tender pork with purple cabbage (I ordered it based on the photo) and the pork was very soft. It is tender and melts in your mouth. The stewed purple cabbage is even more amazing. It goes very well together. The most special thing is the additional lettuce salad. The seasoning is very refreshing and not greasy. It is the best seasoned lettuce I have eaten in recent years (although there is no close-up, it is available next to the main meal). In short, it has changed my impression of German food. My French friends recently agreed that it is a restaurant worth visiting again.

Our food was excellent (my personal favorite was definitely the roast pork), the service was great and finally an absolutely harmonious price-performance ratio! All in all, a clear recommendation... I've already made a reservation on the return journey!

You could taste that it was freshly prepared. Highly recommended.

The food and the atmosphere were excellent!

Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Die gut bürgerliche Küche überzeugt mit angemessenen Preisen, und das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider gab es bei unserem Besuch auch einen deutlichen Wermutstropfen: Die Ochsenbäckle von der Tageskarte waren sehr zäh, durchwachsen und geschmacklich enttäuschend. Auch das dazu gereichte Gemüse war zu weich und kam in einer Rahmsoße – was auf der Karte nicht vermerkt war. Positiv hervorzuheben sind hingegen das Cordon bleu, der frische Beilagensalat sowie die wirklich leckeren, hausgemachten Frühlingsrollen. Etwas enttäuschend war, dass auf die Reklamation der Ochsenbäckle keine Wiedergutmachung angeboten wurde. Insgesamt ein netter Ort mit Potenzial, aber bei der Zubereitung der Gerichte ist noch Luft nach oben.

A very nicely decorated restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The good home-style cuisine impresses with reasonable prices, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, there was also a significant downer during our visit: the oxen bread from the daily menu was very tough, mixed and tasted disappointing. The vegetables served with it were also too soft and came in a cream sauce - which was not noted on the menu. On the other hand, the cordon bleu, the fresh side salad and the really delicious, homemade spring rolls should be positively highlighted. It was somewhat disappointing that no compensation was offered in response to Ochsenbäckle's complaint. Overall, a nice place with potential, but there is still room for improvement in the preparation of the dishes.

Mega delicious selection. Good service and great ambience. I'd love to come back. I've had vegetarian meals there twice so far and will definitely try the dumplings. The salad was excellent and so were the lentils with the zucchini.
