Cafe Bistro Seaside in Füssen

I was here for the first time today and had a cheeseburger with fries. The burger was okay, but I've never had such bad fries. The waitress took note of my criticism. Nothing more, nothing less. The view of Hopfensee is very nice. I won't be coming back.

Very good meat, I ordered the dish of the day. German pie that I can't pronounce was also very good. Good service.

A special thank you goes to Jenny, our waitress: warm, attentive, and with a great sense of humor. She made the evening even more enjoyable for us. A place we definitely recommend and would love to visit again!

A very nice, original restaurant in a prime location in Hopfen am See. Friendly, attentive staff. Prices are on the higher end, but you have to have them to cover costs and still get something for your money, which is understandable.

Für Menschen mit Laktose Intoleranz oder Unverträglichkeit gibt es Hafermilch. Aussicht ebenfalls schön.Wenn man unter der Woche einen guten Tisch bekommen möchte sollte man reservieren. Simon W.

The Seaside at Hopfensee has become a routine for us every time we stay in Füssen. The view of Lake Hopfensee and the mountains behind it is simply unique. The service is unbeatable, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The food is very high quality and tastes very good. We can especially recommend the spaghetti with garlic oil and shrimp... even in bad weather it is very nice to sit inside. The furnishings are modern and yet very comfortable.

If the ambience and the view weren't great, we wouldn't go here anymore! “Good staff is hard to find!” - one waiter doesn't feel responsible for the other's table! Unfortunately it takes forever for someone to come to the table!

In total we paid €35 ​​for a little something for two adults and one child. That was pretty steep. Staff nice, friendly and fast.

We ordered what was on the menu, but later noticed that other guests seemed to order additional dishes that we hadn't seen - but by then it was too late. Still, the food was delicious and the cakes looked very appetizing!

We spent a sunny afternoon at Seaside and absolutely loved it. The menu and drinks list is very appealing and it has great dishes especially the homemade cake was excellent. The terrace was packed. There were even people sitting in the restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and served excellently despite the huge rush. We look forward to visiting again.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio has declined significantly in recent years. The tourists might like to treat themselves to this, but as a local you don't have to go there anymore. 6 euros for a mediocre cappuccino and 10 euros for a small waffle is already juicy.

We went there for lunch with our dogs three days in a row. Very tasty dishes, coffee and cake. You feel warmly welcome, the service is super friendly and fast, despite a lot of work. If we are here again, we will definitely come back. You can only recommend it 😊

However, I personally found the menu a bit sparse and the daily menu was disappointing. It didn't have what was on the board, which was quite frustrating and annoying. Our order consisted of a variety of tarte flambées, which were excellent – ​​by far the best I have eaten so far. My guests were also thrilled and said it was the best tarte flambée they had ever tasted. From the side dish to the dough to the taste and spices, everything was perfect. The waitresses deserve special praise. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm and attentive. You quickly get into conversation with them, even as you walk past - a really great and authentic way. The ice cream counter with a large selection is reminiscent of an ice cream parlor and was also impressive. Regular guests from our hotel highly recommended your place to us, and everyone who has ever been to your place has praised you highly. We just had to stop by and can only confirm the enthusiasm. Even if it's just for a coffee, it's worth a visit - just because of the beautiful view of the natural panorama from the terrace when the weather is nice. But you also feel very comfortable inside, with the cozy and inviting atmosphere. Thanks to the great waitresses, the experience is further enhanced. Keep it up, you're really great!
