Fantastic backdrop. Food good service too.

Always nice at Seaside! Very tasty food, whether hearty (the Amazing Fries are super delicious!) or cake and in the summer very tasty ice cream :) the staff is very friendly! In principle, a reservation is recommended (especially in summer or when the weather is nice) - unless you have to wait a bit.

The ambience is beautiful and simply a great view of the lake and mountains Unfortunately, no one came to our table after ordering, we even had to pay at the counter, which was a shame Expected better for these prices.

We went to this restaurant today and really enjoyed it - delicious food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. There is only one small downside: we didn't find all the dishes on the menu. We ordered what was on the menu, but later noticed that other guests seemed to order additional dishes that we hadn't seen - but by then it was too late. Still, the food was delicious and the cakes looked very appetizing!

We spent a sunny afternoon at Seaside and absolutely loved it. The menu and drinks list is very appealing and it has great dishes especially the homemade cake was excellent. The terrace was packed. There were even people sitting in the restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and served excellently despite the huge rush. We look forward to visiting again.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio has declined significantly in recent years. The tourists might like to treat themselves to this, but as a local you don't have to go there anymore. 6 euros for a mediocre cappuccino and 10 euros for a small waffle is already juicy.

We went there for lunch with our dogs three days in a row. Very tasty dishes, coffee and cake. You feel warmly welcome, the service is super friendly and fast, despite a lot of work. If we are here again, we will definitely come back. You can only recommend it 😊

Very nice, original restaurant in a prime location in Hopfen am See. Nice, attentive employees. Prices tend to be in the upper segment, but you probably have to have one to cover the costs and get something out of it, which is understandable.

We were there once by chance and it was so convincing that we spent our time out there every day. Delicious cakes and very attentive service. I will definitely come back.

Clearly, the view from the terrace is without question the most beautiful - a direct view of the lake, with the panorama of the mountains in the background and the quiet street. Very cozy and wonderfully calming for connoisseurs. The homemade cakes and tarts looked so good that I'm looking forward to trying them on my next visit - I'll come especially for it! However, I personally found the menu a bit sparse and the daily menu was disappointing. It didn't have what was on the board, which was quite frustrating and annoying. Our order consisted of a variety of tarte flambées, which were excellent – ​​by far the best I have eaten so far. My guests were also thrilled and said it was the best tarte flambée they had ever tasted. From the side dish to the dough to the taste and spices, everything was perfect. The waitresses deserve special praise. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm and attentive. You quickly get into conversation with them, even as you walk past - a really great and authentic way. The ice cream counter with a large selection is reminiscent of an ice cream parlor and was also impressive. Regular guests from our hotel highly recommended your place to us, and everyone who has ever been to your place has praised you highly. We just had to stop by and can only confirm the enthusiasm. Even if it's just for a coffee, it's worth a visit - just because of the beautiful view of the natural panorama from the terrace when the weather is nice. But you also feel very comfortable inside, with the cozy and inviting atmosphere. Thanks to the great waitresses, the experience is further enhanced. Keep it up, you're really great!

We were there for the breakfast buffet. The buffet is not particularly large and therefore not particularly practical when there is more going on. For 22 euros without a hot drink I think it's too expensive, we've eaten better and with more choice elsewhere. The staff is friendly. The ambience is also great.

Wir kommen öfter nach Hopfen, und heute waren wir erstmals im Seaside. Schöne Terrasse, sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Der Eiscafe war gut. Aber die Preise sind - auch für die Allgäuer Riviera - völlig überzogen, und wir sind aus Frankfurt/Main durchaus ein gehobenes Preisniveau gewohnt. € 8,90 für einen Eiscafe; € 14,90 für einen Erdbeerbecher; € 12 für ein Glss Wein, das halte ich bei allem Verständnis für Kosten in der Gastronomie doch für unangemessen. Aber es gibt ja genug Alternativen in Hopfen; das nächste Mal gehen wir wieder ins Restaurant Riviera oder nebenan ins San Marco.

Beautiful terrace with a view over Lake Hopfensee and the mountains. Friendly service, good ice cream cafe. But the prices!!! Of course the Allgäu Riviera is expensive, but €8.90 for an ice cream cafe or €14.90/15.90 for an ice cream sundae is also steep for hops. We're used to higher prices in Frankfurt, but €12 for a glass of wine - that's the most you'll pay in a top restaurant here.

Service and drinks are very good, but a lot of wasps... Not pleasant as an allergy sufferer. I would suggest setting up wasp traps and removing the nests.

Great place to slow down! Many detailed, very tasty dishes, a juicer for pressing your own juices and perfectly cooked eggs invite you to linger. The waitresses remain calm, friendly and accommodating even when there is a lot of traffic. Very impressive. Only the wasps bother (the children) a little, but of course you can't blame that on the staff and location.

We had our wedding cake made by lovely Julia at Seaside. We received great advice. The pastry chef was super friendly, competent and uncomplicated. On our special day she created a beautiful work of art that tasted heavenly. Julia embodied all of our wishes in the cake. I can hardly wait when we can take the last pieces out of the freezer and enjoy them. The café is super nice, has a great location, very tasty cakes and burgers (we tried them) and fair prices. All of the staff are very friendly and open-minded. I would recommend it at any time!

We've been there twice already. Upscale ambience. Scoop of ice cream €2. Good taste. Milkshake with supposedly 3 scoops is quite small. Container should actually have been full of ice for €9.90 but otherwise ok.

We bought 2 scoops of ice cream today. The ice cream wasn't high in the containers, which means there were few stabilizers and additives. The ice cream itself was just OK. The waffles were anything but good. My guess is that these are leftovers from last year. At least that's how they tasted. For €2 per scoop I expect a slightly larger quantity and above all a good waffle. ... Not good in my opinion.

Nach unserer Ankunft in Hopfen am See, sind wir auf das Cafe Seeside gestoßen. Es ist sehr schön Eingerichtet und hat auch eine Aussenterrasse. Sehr freundliches Personal, das auch zügig kam. Die Preise sind etwas Hochpreisig. Man hat von der Terrasse einen sehr schönen Blick auf den See.

The ambience and the friendly service are the only things I can recommend about the restaurant. The food is overpriced and so is the service Is bad. I had a tuna salad for €16.90. It contained half a can of tuna, 3 slices of tomato, 4 slices of cucumber, a few olives and 5 small feta cubes as well as a little green salad. I was still hungry afterwards. After I told the junior boss this and asked for a bit of fried vegetables, I was very shocked at the end and sat down for the bit of g Vegetables that I had here were also charged €7.90. I am quite disappointed with such service and unfortunately I cannot recommend the cafe. I paid €35 ​​for a salad, some vegetables and water. It's all about looking nice, but unfortunately for me that's not the deciding factor for a good restaurant.
