Hello, good morning, I came here with my wife several times. Everything was great. A young boy was very nice to us. The last time he wasn't even a boy. He was another kid. He didn't even say hello. Then the rice was watery. I don't understand why. If the food has always been great, I gave it 4 stars because of the food. The service is zero. The atmosphere is also great. 👍

I experienced an issue with the Chapli Kebab, as it was overcooked and had a tough texture. Additionally, I encountered difficulties with the payment process when the credit card machine was inoperable and cash was requested. While there is potential for improvement in both the culinary offerings and staff conduct, I cannot recommend this establishment at its current price point. I also question the authenticity of the Afghan cuisine provided. Consequently, I will not be returning.

They came from far away, and we didn't have lunch, so we decided to eat and go. We arrived around 5:45 pm, and the restaurant had empty tables. We were surprised to find that we needed a reservation!! Where is the Afghan hospitality!!

Disappointing Experience I was looking forward to eating at Kabul Restaurant, but was unfortunately disappointed. The food was rather bland. For the price, I would have expected much more. I hope things improve in the future. The prices on the bill did not match those on the menu. When I asked about this, there was no clear explanation. This shouldn't happen in a reputable restaurant. I hope this will be corrected in the future.

The lunch menu is very reasonably priced; for around €9, you get a truly delicious and lovingly prepared meal! The grilled Händel skewers are excellent, as is the rice. The regular prices seem a bit more expensive; I've only been there for lunch so far.

The meat is bad + the rice doesn't taste good at all + the order takes a long time the waiter is helpful the price is a bit high

Incredibly delicious place, ideal for a hearty lunch! Everything was wonderfully seasoned and very aromatic. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. The schola with kofte is especially recommended! A delicious dish with sticky rice that I had never tried before. Sticky rice with meatballs (kofta)

The food is really delicious and seems fresh. However, the menu is a bit expensive. I would consider the service attentive and friendly. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated and feels authentic. I would always recommend reserving a table.

I'm not sure if fries with ketchup on the side is traditionally Afghan. Aside from that, the interior and atmosphere have lost much of their former charm. The quality of the food has declined considerably. The service also left a lot to be desired (though it should be noted that some of the staff were absent due to illness). In terms of value for money, it's unfortunately not recommended.

Today, on a Tuesday afternoon, I was alone at the already familiar Afghan restaurant Kabul on the rather unromantic Dachauer Straße, near the main train station. The visit was worthwhile: the food, service, and ambiance were all excellent, and as a widow living alone, I felt very comfortable and respected. And that's not something to be taken for granted. My chicken curry with delicious, generous rice was delicious, and the wine and water were also delicious. I'll be back for Kabul; as a city dweller, I like the lively, big-city atmosphere. 😊

The food is actually delicious and the service is friendly, but there's far too little choice for vegetarians. I've been there three times now and was surprised that I'd left a 3-star review the first or second time, but I was persuaded to go again. My wife absolutely loves it, but unfortunately, as a vegetarian, they only serve the side dishes as a main course. I can choose one side dish to go with my wife's side dish, and that becomes my main course. The ambiance inside is authentic and cozy.

Service is quick, but food is not so great. The meat dishes include 2 pieces of meat and is mainly made of rice. Also the taste is mediocre. The restaurant offers too many options , it is quite difficult for someone who never tried the food to choose, and the waiter was not at all helpful but seemed agitated when we asked him for recommendations. I think it would be great if they identify the best sellers or add pictures of the dishes to the menu

This was my first time here and I can wholeheartedly recommend Kabul. The food was truly excellent and the service friendly and helpful. The ambiance is very good; unfortunately, the location is a bit noisy, but that didn't detract from a wonderful evening. I'd be happy to come back.

I'd give it 0 stars, but unfortunately it's not possible. I don't want to say that, but it was the worst crap I've ever eaten! I paid €115 for the meal, and there were small pieces of bone in the sauce, which made it impossible for me to eat the dish. Furthermore, the kebabs were way too soft and undercooked, and you could almost tell there was a bit of meat in the bones. And the chapli kebab was really crap. If your cook isn't in the mood for work, please send him home and bring in someone decent. Because of you, I've had a stomach ache since yesterday.

One of the worst places in Munich. It's been a long time since I left a restaurant with such a terrible feeling. The kabab was disgusting. They brought 7 small pieces of meat, 4 of which were dry and overcooked. The eggplants were like from some cheap cafeteria. Dough is just sour stuff, and Sharbat is sweet cloying water. The only thing that met the standards in this place was rice. For dessert we took ferni - it's just a quiet horror, just some kind of set of ingredients of terrible quality. The waiter tried, but he was the only one for many tables, so you had to wait. There is no paper in the toilet to wipe your hands. I do not recommend this place, for the same money you can find a restaurant of much better quality.

Must try in Munich. Afghan cuisine, amazing ambience, and decoration, hindi music. As an Indian couple we felt kinda home and expected some spices after the bland german food. My wife, hangry but eats half a portion, me running and ready to do the dirty work and do 1.5 portions. Here in germany the portions are big, so one would be enough for me. As i love to try out things, I always have to order to much. IT WAS WORTH IT! MUST TRY: Mantu - i will dream about this tonight. Kind of momos with beef soaked in a lentil sauce. Way better than momos!! Because my wife need chicken: Kabuli Palau - also very nice and a huge portion, enough for 2 small eaters Like a chicken curry with fried rice Special: really spicy sauces on every table.

As a last minute arrangement, we decided to have dinner at Kabul on new year’s eve. The service was fast and the portions were big. The restaurant is compact and it has a bit of a frantic feel about it, but somehow it all adds up to a nice buzz. The food was tasty and we enjoyed all the starters, main meals and deserts. We paid about €180 for 4 people, which is not cheap but it is reasonable value for 4 people having 2 or 3 courses each. Give it a try if you’re a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine and if you enjoy a relaxed setting 👍🏻👍🏻

Anyone who has rated this high has never tried authentic Afghan food, or those who have have never had good quality food in their life. Group of 5 so ordered various dishes to try everything out and all of them were so far off it was not even enjoyable. For the potatoes side dish it felt like they just used tin tomatoes sauce for the sauce itself. Nothing had proper flavour. The aubergine did not even come with yogurt topping and they offered yogurt sauce as a side which was flavourless. The rice should have used sela rice not basmati and I can't even go into all the other items. Very disappointing overall. The atmosphere was good but deco is like an Indian restaurant. Only came here due to reviews and star rating usually it's not wrong but I guess it was this time. Service was good staff are good. It's just the food that sucks big time. None of the 8 dishes hit the spot. Also drinks are bad too.

We went here to Restaurant Kabul on the recommendation of a friend. We were very excited about the large selection of dishes! The drinks and food came very quickly and the portions were huge! With an average price of 19.90 per main course, it's reasonable, but unfortunately you can't expect it in every restaurant these days. That's why we were pleasantly surprised and the quality of the food was also excellent. We had the rest packed up :-) we would love to come back!

This is one of the nicest Afghan restaurants that I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few. I live in the US and I'm really glad we came here during my trip to Germany recently. They have a lot of variety of authentic meals, from quick snacks to full on gourmet. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. They have multiple variety of rice dishes including a few different kinds of the poplar dish Qabuli. They have so many types of kabobs you're going to have to make a trip back to try them all. They make their nan fresh. They have various stews including vegetable or meat stews, so vegetarians welcome! The venue is cozy and has seating for small groups upstairs. If you're looking for more space, they have a party room downstairs. It might sound weird, but one way to judge a restaurant is to see how clean they keep the bathroom. If they're not good at keeping the facilities clean, I can only imagine what the kitchen would look like. 🤨 not to worry they have clean bathrooms!

The restaurant is an absolute eye-catcher! Every detail was right and the cards were something special. We felt very comfortable from minute one. Starter: For starters we had lentil soup. It was strong, spicy and pleasantly spicy! Perfect for these low winter temperatures! Intermediate course: We ate sweet baked pumpkin with fresh bread. Was rock solid. Main course: Both the lamb and chicken were fabulous. The cooking point was perfect and it was nice and juicy. The rice was perfect and very special in its own way. It was very intense and light and even the tomatoes, something so simple, became a flavor explosion here. Dessert: The dessert was definitely good, although it could have been a little sweeter for our taste. The service was also impeccable! Highly recommended!
