Sehr gutes und unglaublich leckeres Essen und Trinken. Ich empfehle Tee oder Hewad-Wasser zum Essen, es war sehr gut.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, gemütliche Atmosphäre und aufmerksames Personal. Das beste afghanische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe – absolut empfehlenswert!

Haben uns spontan für afghanisches Essen entschieden. Das Essen war authentisch und die Besitzer super herzlich. Gerne wieder!

Fantastisches vegetarisches Essen!

Wenn man afghanischen essen mag, ist man hier an der richtigen Adresse. Perfekt gewürzte und frische Gerichte. Beilagen sind kombinierbar. Die Karte ist ausreichend groß, aber nicht überfordernd. Eine gute Weinauswahl. Das Personal war sehr nett. Eine große Empfehlung.

Absolut zu empfehlen, tolles Essen. Komme gerne wieder wenn ich in München bin.

Ich hatte einen Tisch reserviert und war dort, aber bei unserer Ankunft verweigerte er uns wegen der Kinder den Zutritt. Sein Benehmen ist sehr schlecht; er sucht ständig Ärger.

Das schlechteste Restaurant überhaupt und der Service war unterirdisch. Man verweigerte uns den Zutritt, weil wir einen Kinderwagen dabei hatten, obwohl wir einen Tisch mit vier Stühlen reserviert hatten. Der Kinderwagen hätte problemlos auf einen der Stühle gepasst, aber der Kellner war unverschämt. 👎🏼

Das ist ein wirklich schöner Ort. Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich authentisch und köstlich. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und die Atmosphäre ist richtig warm und authentisch. Die Preise waren absolut fair und angemessen. Ich werde ganz sicher öfter hierher kommen.

Klein, aber fein! Toller Service, faire Preise und hervorragendes Essen! Reservierung dringend empfohlen.

Ich lebe seit fünf Jahren in München und wünschte, ich hätte dieses Juwel früher entdeckt! Definitiv mein Lieblings-Afghan-Restaurant in München. Es ist klein, daher ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert, obwohl wir, als meine Freundin und ich um 18:45 Uhr ankamen, noch bis 19:50 Uhr einen Tisch bekamen.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Das Essen war super aromatisch und geschmacklich top abgestimmt. Besonders das Lamm war ein Highlight: unglaublich zart und butterweich. Ich komme definitiv gerne wieder!

Absolut köstliches Essen. Man verguckt sich leicht bei der Portionsgröße, denn es ist sehr sättigend, und wirklich extrem lecker. Service flott und fix.

Eines der köstlichsten Fleischgerichte, die ich je in München gegessen habe. Es war wirklich sehr sättigend und hat das Abendessen zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis gemacht. Das Ambiente ist perfekt für ein gemütliches und genussvolles Abendessen. Da Reservierungen üblicherweise erforderlich sind, empfiehlt es sich, frühzeitig zu planen. Die Preise sind etwas höher, daher ist es vielleicht nicht die erste Wahl für jeden Tag, aber für besondere Anlässe oder kleine Feiern, wenn man sich etwas Besonderes gönnen möchte, ist es definitiv eine Überlegung wert.

Ein kleines, aber feines Juwel! Das Essen ist sehr preiswert und das Personal einfach super! Eine tolle Gelegenheit, die afghanische Kultur kennenzulernen. Hewad ist normalerweise ausgebucht, reservieren Sie daher mindestens ein bis zwei Tage im Voraus.

Wir hatten schon vor Monaten reserviert, da wir das leckere Essen, das wir vor einigen Jahren hier genossen hatten, noch einmal erleben wollten. Aus irgendeinem Grund ist eine Tischreservierung nur telefonisch möglich: In unserem Fall war es ziemlich schwierig, sich bei lauten Hintergrundgeräuschen und kaum Deutsch/Englisch verständlich zu machen. Wenig überraschend war unsere Reservierung nicht in seinem Buch, und wir mussten uns um 20:15 Uhr abends einen anderen Platz suchen. Nicht gerade der Abend, auf den wir uns gefreut hatten, und etwas, das mit einem etwas professionelleren Reservierungssystem leicht hätte vermieden werden können. Ich werde hier nicht mehr auf mein Glück setzen.

Unglaublich leckere, sehr fein und abwechslungsreich gewürzte Speisen. Wir sind durch Zufall vorbeigekommen und waren begeistert, auch von dem netten Servicepersonal. Dieses Restaurant ist jetzt eines unserer Lieblings-Lokale.

Traumhaftes Essen in einem gemütlichen kleinen Lokal. Sehr nettes Team, das sich unaufdringlich aber sehr aufmerksam kümmert. Ich hatte gegrilltes Hühnchen mit Aubergine und Rosinenreis. Hätte mich reinlegen können! Sehr empfehlenswert und deshalb leider kein Geheimtipp mehr. Unbedingt reservieren. Man bekommt auch nur einen Slot. Aber das ist es wert 😊👍🏻

Wie immer phantastische Vorspeisen Kürbis wie auch Aubergine👍 anschl. Geflügel Quabeli Palau sehr aromatisch und sehr lecker. Selbst beim vollem Restaurant ein schneller, aufmerksamer und humorvoller Service. 😊

Wenn Sie durch Monaco reisen, MÜSSEN Sie hier essen. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis: Das Essen war phänomenal, der Kellner unglaublich freundlich und erklärte uns alles (was bei italienischen Kellnern ja eher selten der Fall ist), die Rechnung war angemessen und die Qualität exzellent.

Ich hatte Lammeintopf und Dooch, ihr traditionelles Joghurtgetränk. Alles war perfekt, das Essen war hervorragend gewürzt und der Service freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren schon mehrfach hier Essen und sind immer wieder begeistert, eines der besten afghanischen Restaurants, das wir kennen. Tolle Speisenauswahl, alles sehr lecker, und sehr netter Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Das Restaurant ist sehr klein und nach spätestens 2 Std. muss man wieder gehen, da dann die nächste Schicht an Gästen folgt.

As a Hamburg native, I stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and luckily got a seat on the spot! I'll tell my Munich friends that they should definitely visit Hewad if they want to experience special dishes with particularly friendly service! Next time, the Hamburg native will make an appointment in advance so I have time for a special dessert!

The food was fresh and the portions were generous. However, that was the only positive thing about the evening. The service was hectic, exceptionally unfriendly, and inattentive.

Terrible service ruined incredible food. Unfortunately, what was some of the best food of my travels was ruined by the service when it came time to pay the bill. The waiter balked at the tip I left, then made a show of turning to my partner and pointedly asked them to confirm the tip amount. I’ve always left a fair amount, but have never been so directly pressured to leave more. Extremely unprofessional. On the the food - immaculately flavorful. Rich, intense, deep flavors permeate every part of all dishes. Extremely tender meat was cooked to perfection. I understand why so many people order takeout to avoid the in-restaurant service.

Fabulous meal at Hewad! They squeezed us in without a reservation and were so kind. Great service, but the food is the real star of the show. We ate the manti dumplings and even though we were full, the gluttony kicked in and we cleaned our plates.

We were in Munich for a concert :) And we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and spontaneously stopped in. And we were absolutely thrilled :) It was super delicious, very well seasoned, and the rice and the quark were so divinely delicious. The portion size was also great. If we're in Munich again, we'll be back :)

The location is super quiet, the food is incredibly good, and the service is very friendly. We even got a free dessert. 10/10, I highly recommend it.

The food here is absolutely spectacular. So flavorful and delicious. The service is so good and it is a beautifully decorated space. I liked the Hewad Water (water with Elderberry and fruit) so much i drank 3 of them 😁 Give this place a try. You will not regret it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely thrilled with this restaurant! You feel welcome as soon as you enter, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great selection, everything is freshly prepared and creatively presented. The starters were particularly delicious, but the main course also exceeded my expectations. A perfect place for a relaxing evening with friends or family – I'll definitely be back!

Very good food, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. The music isn't too loud (you can easily have a conversation). The lighting inside is dim, making it suitable for people with light sensitivity (e.g., those on the autism spectrum like me) without being too stressful. There's a bit of a wait for your food (about 20-30 minutes), but that's only logical given that it's freshly prepared.

The Afghan restaurant was a wonderful experience! The kabab was perfectly grilled—juicy, flavorful, and full of authentic spices. The warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere made the meal even more special. A true hidden gem for anyone who loves delicious Afghan cuisine!

Highly recommended! The meat is extremely tender and juicy, and the rice is also delicious. Probably the best Afghan restaurant in Munich! Also a great location and easy to reach.

We had a very pleasant evening. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We were even allowed to stay a little longer than our reservation. The food was wonderfully flavorful. We actually wanted to take photos, but our appetites were too great. By the time we remembered, our plates were already half empty... we'll be back!

Mein Frau und ich wollten im Hewad Restaurant zum Abendessen gehen. Meine Frau bat bei einem der Gerichte aufgrund einer Nahrungsunverträglichkeit eine einfache Änderung (Salat statt Reis). Der uns bedienende Mann hat nicht nur sehr barsch und rigoros abgelehnt, sondern meine Frau auch in einer derart frauenfeindlichen und herablassenden Art behandelt, dass es nicht nur uns, sondern auch den anderen Gästen peinlich war. Wir sind daraufhin gegangen ohne zu bestellen und werden das Restaurant auch mit Sicherheit nie mehr aufsuchen.

Super delicious and quick: a successful evening at Hewad! The food was freshly prepared, very tasty, and there was a wide selection. We easily discovered several tempting dishes and were spoiled for choice. But any other dish would probably have been just as delicious as our two dishes (one grilled chicken, one braised). The dessert was also amazing 👍🏻 Tip: Be sure to try the potatoes with peas in a richly spiced sauce!

So good. This was my first time trying Afghan cuisine, and it's very original; it's nothing like Indian or Middle Eastern cuisine. A charming welcome with an English-German menu. We really enjoyed it.

Amazing experience in Hewad. The food was super super nice, I've tried the suggestions from the waiter and all of them were delicious. The lamb speciality and the drink which is made of yogurt and mango, too. The service was quite helpful and charming. The menú was in english so quite easy to communicate with them. I will repeat again, recommended to everybody :)

We spontaneously decided to visit the restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious. However, our visit was marred by the behavior of the waiter, who unfortunately treated us very condescendingly. It's a shame and really, really unpleasant.

TOP service - incredibly great hosts!

My wife and I and our twin boys were absolutely happy. All main courses and all drinks were perfect, the portions were large but not excessive. Our waiter was very kind, patient and helpful. I've eaten at 5-6 Afghan restaurants in Munich over the years, none better than Hewad! We'll be going back soon...

Chic little restaurant in the heart of Munich. You will receive a friendly welcome even without a reservation. We were served attentively and advised on the menu in a friendly and patient manner. The dishes were extremely good and also of high quality. Here we cook with love and work with joy.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Munich. We get the lamb grill with the pumpkin appetizer, absolutely delectable. This time we also tried the dessert (photo) which was also unlike anything I've had before, a treat for the taste buds. Great service here of course compliments the meal. Definitely organize a reservation in advance to make sure you get a spot, lots of people also think this restaurant is great. Looking forward to the next time!
