Jorgos (Tannenheim) in Barth

During the week, they offer lunch for around ten euros. We tried it today and were thrilled. The meal included a starter soup, a delicious salad, and generous portions of gyros, bifteki, and much more. It tasted fantastic. The staff was very friendly, and we immediately felt welcome. There were many guests, but we didn't have to wait long. The interior is spacious and professionally designed. Unfortunately, we live 500 km away, but we'd love to come back again on our next vacation.

The food quality has declined significantly. Portions have also been reduced in size. Only the price has increased. We won't be coming back.

If you're looking for truly excellent food, served with incredible friendliness and attention to detail, this is the place to be... and for those with children, there's a playground on the premises and even fish to discover. Everything is really safe for kids.

Great food... plentiful and family-friendly.

We spontaneously went to Jorgos on a Saturday. Wow, it was very busy. We thought we wouldn't get a seat. The staff were really friendly and immediately checked what was available. After a short wait, we got a table. The service was always responsive, everyone was very friendly. Even though the restaurant was very busy, we didn't have to wait long for our main course. The chef also offered us ouzo. He also helps out...thumbs up for that. It's definitely worth pre-ordering. The amount of food was also very good.

We had lunch at this restaurant twice while on vacation. The food was tasty and the quantity was OK, but the soup that accompanied the dish was rather poorly prepared, with extremely uneven filling levels and very different textures. The price for lunch was also reasonable, but I don't know if I'd be willing to pay an average of €10 more for almost identical dishes in the evening.

We picked up food here, everyone was very friendly and the food was great.

The ambiance was nice, but the portions were a bit small, which I'm not used to at Greek restaurants. Unfortunately, the service was a bit unfriendly. All in all, it was okay.

One evening, three of us spontaneously went for dinner with our child. Although the restaurant was busy and parking was limited, we were kindly assigned a table inside. The salad as a starter was fresh and crisp, and the main course (in my case, pan-fried broccoli) was more than filling. The meat was tender, the sauce mildly creamy, and the broccoli was soft but not overcooked. The menu offers over 100 dishes to choose from, including a few vegetarian options. The ambiance is tastefully decorated and, overall, very clean. There's also a small playground for the children.

I've been here several times. The food is always very good, very tasty, and it's one of my first choices when I want to go out for dinner. There is one weak point, though. I'm always about 10% short of feeling completely full; there could and should be a bit more on the plate.

A good Greek restaurant with smaller portions for kids. Good service, an ouzo in between, a nice bonus with the glass floor under which fish swim. It's often quite busy, so reservations are recommended.

At first glance, the restaurant and its ambiance appear quite inviting. But a closer look reveals a completely different picture: dilapidated structure with broken brickwork, exposed wires, and cracked lighting. In the annex, the benches are covered in plastic, there are numerous cobwebs and missing tiles, creating an overall unkempt impression. The music was incoherent and too loud, which further detracted from the atmosphere. Service started promisingly with a very friendly employee; it's a shame he didn't serve us the entire evening. The rest of the staff seemed listless, spoke little German, and were constantly changing. Drinks, at least, came very quickly. The menu offers a wide selection, but we were asked every five minutes if we had already ordered. The appetizer arrived quickly, but one dish was forgotten or swapped. The main course arrived about 20 minutes later – the gyro was undercooked and overall too cold. Ketchup and mayo were carelessly placed on the table in squeeze bottles from the supermarket. The presentation of the dishes also looked unappealing. It was also unpleasant that someone would peek around the corner every few minutes without asking for more drinks. After 40 minutes, an employee announced he would "clear right after his break" and then stood smoking in front of the entrance. We had to wait so long for the bill that we loudly demanded it. Conclusion: Unfortunately, disappointing in every respect – from cleanliness to service to the quality of the food. We won't be returning.

At first, the service was very good. A waiter came by at least every 10 minutes. The drink came very quickly, as did the appetizer, and the ouzo was included. The food took longer and wasn't warm enough. After the meal, the waiter came over and said he was taking a break and would clear the table. After that, it took 40 minutes and a loud request before we could pay. The ambiance is good. The music is a bit confusing. Good at the beginning, but disappointing towards the end. Before I come back, I'll try all the other Greek restaurants in the area.

We had reserved a table in advance, which turned out to be the right choice. The main restaurant was full, so we were seated in the annex. The ambiance was a bit sparse, but the benches were comfortable. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived relatively quickly after ordering. We sat in the tent with our children. Unfortunately, people were smoking at many of the tables. We were then able to move around. Due to a technical glitch, the food arrived very late. The chef took care of the problem and did everything he could to ensure we still had a pleasant evening. Thank you very much.

Their friendly, jovial staff warmly welcomed us to the restaurant late into the evening and prepared something for us to take away. The food was delicious, filling, authentic, and reasonably priced. The ambiance of the restaurant is spacious, versatile, thoughtfully decorated, and inviting. Soft, warm lighting and Mediterranean music contribute to the sense of well-being. Outside, there's a terrace with a koi pond and a children's play area (still under construction). Overall, our experience was very positive! The unnoticed sister restaurant of Athina in Prerow! The menu descriptions could perhaps be a bit more detailed; with the octopus appetizer, I was greeted with an unexpected dip/appetizer alongside the tzatziki and taramasalata. This was delicious with the bread and dolmades, but I'm not sure what it was. Perhaps tirokafteri?

Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star because the restrooms could use some updating. The cabin door handle is loose, there are no paper towels, and the area between the cabin legs needs cleaning. But otherwise, it's a very nice restaurant with friendly service and the food was excellent. The meat was very juicy, the gyros were delicious, and they even give you an ouzo... two too. Nothing to complain about. We'll be back.

There were five of us here, including a toddler (4 years old). The food was okay, albeit rather poorly presented. The service is a letdown. My empty glass, finished with the appetizer, was completely ignored until I paid the bill. And that was by what felt like a dozen service employees walking or standing around.

We went there spontaneously on our last evening of our vacation. Without a reservation. It was packed, but there were still plenty of free seats. The staff was super friendly and accommodated all our requests. Even the manager came to ask questions and chat with the guests. The drinks came quickly. We had to wait a bit for the food, as everything is freshly prepared. And with so many guests at the checkout, you have to factor in the wait. We waited about half an hour, but it was okay. The food was a delight. Really freshly prepared and the ingredients were fresh. The broccoli was still firm to the bite, the mushrooms were incredibly tasty, and the meat was cooked to perfection and tender. If we ever vacation in Zingst again, it will definitely be our first stop. All in all, it was a very nice evening, and we were glad we chose it.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The lamb was overcooked and dry, sitting carelessly next to the broccoli, and that was it. The grilled dish was also dry, and the minced meat was almost impossible to swallow. The taste was okay. It's a shame, but our impression was simply a hasty process with poorly prepared food.

Of course, Jorgos, like everyone else, has raised their prices; what could possibly be cheaper? Well, if you have them, you can look forward to some tasty specialties. Always busy, which says a lot. What struck me positively was that the welcome ouzo didn't fall victim to cost-cutting, and we were served by what felt like 10 waiters (no, 4, I think). The tzatziki, however, seems to be worth its weight in gold; the spoonful served with gyros doesn't fit at all and is a joke. You can order an extra portion, which is more like a rip-off, which is a shame.

An incredibly good Greek restaurant. Definitely worth its 5-***** rating. The ambiance is super nice, whether on the huge, roofed terrace with a small "garden" or indoors. The food caters to every taste, is truly delicious and plentiful, something you don't find so often these days due to rising prices everywhere, rising living costs, and rising expenses, including for restaurants (shopping, staff, etc.). Sure, it's not exactly cheap here, but the prices are a bit high, but if you're being completely honest, eating Greek food has always been a bit more expensive than a standard Italian restaurant or elsewhere. ;) The restaurant was super clean, including the restrooms, and the service was first-class. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by a super friendly waiter, and our order was taken carefully and quickly. The only minor drawback was that, unfortunately, towards the end of our meal (it was around 9:45 p.m.), the waitress had already started sweeping the floors. However, I must point out that we were running late (the restaurant closes around 11 p.m. on weekends, and we didn't arrive until around 9 p.m. due to our day trip), and luckily, even though the noise of sweeping and brooming was still audible, they at least kept a distance of 2 meters from our table, and we were the only guests inside at the time. So, it wasn't that bad, and besides, we were almost finished eating. Conclusion: This restaurant, like the Poseidon in Stralsund by the harbor, are definitely the best Greek restaurants I've ever eaten at, and I can't help but rave about them in every conversation about Greek food. If you really want to eat fantastic food, you can't miss eating here! ;) Little insider tip: The breaded mushrooms as a starter are absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!! :}

The so-called food was an outrage. If I could give negative stars, I would. I have never been served something so careless and tasteless. What can you go wrong with gyros at a Greek restaurant? Everything if you have no idea. The meat was sliced ​​really thick, without any seasoning - disgusting! It looked so sick... and tasted that way too. After two bites, the stuff went back. Of course I didn't pay for it. My husband was just as "lucky" with his meal. Apart from the fact that he got the wrong dish, the meat was cooked to death and therefore bone dry. Any snack bar can do a thousand times better. I wonder how a place like this has survived all these years. Never again!!!

Went in for a spontaneous meal. Beforehand. We're used to being greeted with ouzo. Upon request, we were given ouzo, which was then added to the bill. The food was OK. I found the pork too dry and the gyro too thick and too hard/dry. An additional portion of tzatziki came with three slices of bread. These were added to the bill at the end. We hadn't ordered them and had to pay for them. The Greek yogurt was the worst thing I've ever eaten. Not creamy or smooth at all. Crumbly and lumpy. We won't be eating there again. More of a tourist restaurant. We didn't experience the hospitality we're used to from a Greek restaurant.

I was traveling alone by bike and was looking for a place to eat. This restaurant was the closest, so I decided to stop there. I had my doubts, as I'm used to Greek restaurants becoming very expensive these days. Nevertheless, I had to eat something, so I cycled there. I received a very warm welcome, and they took wonderful care of me as a solo traveler. It was truly outstanding. I got a "special plate" that cost less than ten euros. It was delicious, and all the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be back. And then with the whole family. Thank you so much for the amazing experience.

We went here a few weeks ago whilst on holiday. Please go somewhere else! The service was almost shocking - we had 3 different servers and all made us feel rather unwelcome. The food was terrible - I don't think anything was freshly prepared and most likely came out of a tin. My husband still feels sick these days thinking about his dinner 😮. The quality of the meat was also very poor. The gyros was grizzly and fatty and we left most of it on the plate. Nobody ever came to check if things were alright and someone just collected the plates at some point and took them away. Also not cheap so save yourself the trouble and spend your money somewhere where they appreciate your custom.

My wife and I went there for lunch. We had gyros with fries and salad. The food was delicious. I'd say it was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Friday evening in May, there was enough space for the two of us without a reservation. A friendly welcome, and we were free to choose our seats. Drinks and food ordered arrived fairly quickly. Uozo and salad were served first. The salad was fresh and delicious. The main courses were very tasty, everything well seasoned, and arrived piping hot. We had no complaints. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. After the bill, we each received an Uozo, which I declined as the driver. Then I was given a lollipop 😂. Restrooms were also OK, and parking was available.

I have eaten in this restaurant very often, but last night I almost burst my collar. 3 waiters constantly run in circles to clear the table as quickly as possible. My girlfriend was still eating and the plate was still gone. The 2 male waiters were so rude. If you don't feel like it, then you want to do another job and not destroy my positive time. There were no questions about whether it tasted good or whether everything was okay. When paying by card, there was no information saying approved or a thank you. Conclusion. Mass processing, unfriendly and completely unprofessional. The staff should be trained on how to deal with the guest. Therefore no stars

The two of us were there at lunchtime today. The restaurant was empty. No hello, 2 people here, we were shown to a table in the dark even though all the seats were free. When we told him we didn't want to sit here, he ignored us and walked away. We left the restaurant. We have been visiting there for many years, but apparently the staff is no longer the same. I think our star distribution says it all. The food was ok - nothing outstanding, but very plentiful. The ambience in the restaurant is typical, the adjoining room and winter garden are more like a dining room. Unfortunately, the service is not at all typical of Greek hospitality - rather unmotivated and superficial.

Unfriendly staff. We were guests as a couple with a dog. There was no question as to whether it was tasty or whether you still had a wish. We weren't even looked at. The dog at the neighboring table was given a bowl of water...ours was ignored or looked at anxiously. In contrast to the neighboring tables, we were not offered ouzo. No thanks were given for a 5 euro tip. Waiter just left without saying goodbye. We as a whole were appalled by such behavior.

It probably depends on what you expect and also what time of year you go there. I was here years ago, many years ago... apparently nothing has changed here since then. The interior restaurant appears dark due to the covered seating areas made of dark wood, although not uncomfortable, but just getting old. The food is rich and the meat (gyros) is of good quality. We weren't impressed with the cold appetizer platter because the various "salads," as I call it, ran together on the plate. It made a somewhat loveless impression. The starter salad was just cabbage lettuce floating in cream sauce. The service was friendly, but unfortunately one of the waitresses couldn't understand us at all and had to get help. Despite everything, we went home well full and sitting outside in the nice warm weather certainly makes it a little different and after all it's always a matter of taste... All the best...

Wir kommen seit über zehn Jahren 1-2 x im Jahr in diese Region und jedes Mal auch zu diesem Griechen. Leider war der Besuch heute eine Katastrophe. Die Portionen sind kleiner, die Preise erhöht worden. Was an sich ja noch verständlich sein könnte, aber die Qualität des Fleisches war unterirdisch. Auch der Service war Mittelmaß, es gab nicht mal ein Dankeschön fürs Trinkgeld. Schade - wir werden erstmal nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Today I took a look at the Gorgos and the first impression was very nice, good parking spaces and great access for people with physical disabilities, unfortunately the second look wasn't so nice, outside I had the feeling it was still a construction site and everything looked very desolate. Inside, the reception was very stuffy and the space was very narrow. The map came very quickly, unfortunately too often people asked whether they had found something. The card feels like it has 1000 positions, which is always a sign of finished products and economy goods, yeah. Was there a salad first? He was just swimming in dressing, I think it was supposed to be yogurt dressing. The main courses were Metaxapanne with paprika tomato rice which tasted very good, then there was the Atho plate, consisting of different types of meat, unfortunately there is also one here.....the meat parts were all dry and very dark, the only thing that was good were the meat rolls, the fries were apparently only seasoned with salt and that too little, the gyros that came with it....very limp. The dessert was supposed to be a bee made of ice cream balls (children's ice cream) what arrived was more of an accident and made as carelessly as I've ever seen it, when I asked to make it again there were long faces and what came back didn't work at all, too bad. The staff didn't understand me either and they always needed a translator. The facility was nice but also neglected, dust and cobwebs, lots of cobwebs. It's the same in the toilet area, the floor hasn't been scrubbed for a long time, just mopped (deposits in many standing areas and corners). The windows, ceiling and lamps haven't seen any love for a long time either. I know from much earlier that everything was better. With a lot of love this can become such a great restaurant, and with the terrace in the summer...so much potential...shorten the menu significantly, reduce the wooden beams and thus create more seats inside. There are a few seats outside for smokers/connoisseurs with blankets and warm lighting, all year round. Maybe one day. Until then, I'll wait to visit again.

Wszystko smaczne. Good equipment, delicious food.

You can eat your fill here quickly and relatively cheaply. The service staff are very accommodating, polite and also like to have fun. Compared to other Greek restaurants, there is a lack of subtlety. The baked broccoli was barely seasoned. Salt and pepper were not on the table. The beef liver had no sauce or jus or at least tzatziki with it. Onions were completely missing. The beef fillet came with princess beans without onions or bacon, and also without sauce. But good quality meat. Conclusion: You can spend nice evenings there, but it could be that the food brought doesn't quite match the food.

It doesn't get any better. We'd love to come back again and again.

There were no outliers either upwards or downwards. The food served in the restaurant looks sad. Soo 80s! But I had to laugh heartily at the single decorative olive on the tzatziki. It works! 😂 And as a previous poster already wrote, the salad is neither a masterpiece in terms of appearance nor taste. With little effort you can still get something out of it. On the second visit we canceled the salad straight away. This saves resources and you don’t “surprise” about it.

We have been driving past this restaurant for years. Today we decided to visit the restaurant. It will be our first and last visit. The salad was drowning in the ready-made dressing and was completely carelessly prepared. Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy my starter because the eggplant was filled with tomatoes. I don't like tomatoes, so unfortunately it wasn't on the menu that it was filled with tomatoes. I scraped off the few chunks of sheep's cheese on the tomatoes. Not even finished with the starter, the main course arrived. I had gratinated gyros with mushrooms. Unfortunately, the taste of canned mushrooms is boring and when it comes to the gyros, I would almost say that it was frozen food. My husband's liver was a little oversalted, but a large portion. The service was ok. We've never eaten such bad Greek food before. The prices are not justified for the food.
