Had a simple Bismarck roll, so 5 stars, you can't go wrong. The display isn't so nice. There's also "visual material" of the boxed meals upstairs, which aren't so tasty... especially the potato salad... why?! How about pictures?! I thought about it afterward, but I managed. The Asian colleague was very calm. I wouldn't go there again. A few steps away was a more professional-looking shop with fish sandwiches...

Very tasty food at fair prices and a relaxed atmosphere right on the harbor. We would love to come back 😀👍

There are better places in the area for a fried fish

Unfortunately, I ate a Bismarck roll yesterday. I had a bad feeling after the first bite, and even though my stomach can handle a lot, the night and this morning were anything but pleasant! On top of that, the tables and benches were sticky, and the counter and display were dirty! Therefore, only three stars for the ambiance (if it weren't for the view, I would have only given it one star). Conclusion: This fish snack bar is not a good advertisement for our beautiful town of Barth and should be referred to the health department!

Delicious fish sandwiches! Excellent sandwiches and a good selection of drinks. You can enjoy your meal right on the town's small harbor, cooled by the sea breeze and warmed by the beautiful sun ☀️. Highly recommended!

This is what fish sandwiches should be like. On our 2024 bike tour, we met the owner and enjoyed our meal there. This year, we quickly cycled from the center of the island to Barth again for a pilsner and a fish sandwich. We were not disappointed this time either. Thank you.

I just had a Bismarck roll. The roll had a good topping, but it had probably been baked for two days. Zero points. I also had a beer without a glass from the bottle for a whopping €4.50. If you like that! 😜😎

We took two Bismarck rolls...the roll was from yesterday, and the Bismarck wasn't the real thing either... It went in the trash...a shame. I'd rather walk a bit further and get something tasty.

Das Personal war so abweisend, dass wir uns gar nicht erst für den Restaurantbesuch entschieden haben. Der Laden war leer- mir war dann auch klar warum. Keine Gäste? - kein Wunder! Wir waren früher gern hier, beim jetzigen Betreiber verspüren wir keine Lust mehr. Wichtiger Hinweis: das Hotel hat mit dem Restaurant nichts zu tun, das ist weiterhin sehr zu empfehlen!

Stremel salmon roll was great! Garnished with lettuce leaves, cucumber slices and onions. The orange honey remo with it. Yummy!!! There is just the right type of beer to go with it. The fish seller is nice and makes the rolls fresh. Nice place to watch the goings-on in the harbor.

Unfortunately, the fried fish with potato wedges in the deep fryer was so greasy and tasted like nothing. Even the tasty Störtebeker couldn't improve the dining experience. Once and never again.

We ate fish and chips here after a short hike. Small portion, not cheap at 8 euros, tartar sauce very economical. Frozen goods carelessly fried. Other snack ships can do this much better.

We go to Barth very often and go on holiday there. The fish rolls and the fried fish are a must there. Fried fish etc. is freshly prepared. The staff is very friendly and always has a kind word. We would like to thank you from Fischhus. We'd love to come back. Stay healthy and keep it up.

Das Hotel und Restaurant wurde in der Vergangenheit abgewertet. Diesen schlechten Urteilen schließe ich mich nicht an. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Zimmer groß und modern und das Essen exzellent. Einschränkung: Es gab nur zwei Gerichte auf der Karte.

Natural and honest, great service and delicious food. Criticism to the guests: try saying please and thank you. Brings joy to both and leaves no lasting damage. 😉

Als mehrfache Wiederholungstäter in Sachen Urlaub in Barth freuten sich meine Frau und ich, dass das Restaurant im Hotel Speicher seit kurzem (unter neuem Namen JULY-Restaurant) wieder geöffnet hat. Die Location an sich ist stimmig, man sitzt gut hinter Glas mit dem Blick auf den Hafen – könnte aber etwas sorgfältiger gereinigt sein. Und es nervt leider schon etwas, dass man zwar gleich die Karte bekommt, aber – trotz überschaubarer Belegung – es dann doch noch 15 Minuten dauerte, bis wir bestellen konnten und dann nochmal einige Minuten bis die Getränke kamen. Die junge Kellnerin zwar sehr freundlich und nett, aber auch mit Schwierigkeiten, sich Dinge zu merken. Das Essen las sich gut auf der Karte, war aber auf dem Teller nur guter Durchschnitt. Der kleine Cesar-Salat meiner Frau sollte laut Karte „Original“ sein – aber sorry, da war er weit davon entfernt. Mein kleiner Frühlingssalat mit Sanddorn-Thymian-Honig Dressing war okay. Das Dorschfilet unter einer Kräuterkruste war geschmacklich und vom Gargrad gut, aber von Kruste keine Rede, stattdessen wurde es von einer estragondominierten Sauce bedeckt. Die dazu gereichten Bratkartoffeln und die Brokkoliröschen waren gut. Insgesamt okay für einen Besuch im Rahmen des Urlaubs, aber wenn ich in Barth leben würde, wäre es sicher nicht mein Stammrestaurant.

We had kibbeling and fish fillet with fries. Unfortunately it didn't taste great. But nice service and nice ambience.

Ordered the 'Kibbelinge' with fries. Kibbelinge turned out to be frozen fish nuggets. Kibbelings were swimming in fat and were lukewarm. I've rarely eaten such bad fries. I think the temperature of the deep fryer wasn't high enough. I can't understand most of the reviews given this experience. Maybe I was just unlucky.

A big compliment to the two gentlemen in Barth at Fischhus. In addition to really good shrimp (briefly fried) and the portion of squid rings with garlic sauce, there was also a very happy chat on the opening day. The stand is located directly at the harbor and this ensures the ambience when eating these delicacies with a view of the boats and the pier.

Man gibt sich den Anschein einer noblen Gastronomie. Trotz aller Bemühungen um Freundlichkeit seitens des Personals, blieb der Abend eine Enttäuschung. Mein Essen (Kabeljauravioli) war eine eine schlierige Teigmasse in Sosse. Ich bekam ein neues Essen. Der Teig war jetzt hart und ohne Füllung. Mein Tipp: Mehr Energie auf die Zubereitung der Speisen als auf die extravaganten Beschreibungen (Novelle Cuisine mässig) auf der Speisekarte verwenden. Ach das auch noch, Weinkarte Fehlanzeige.

It is very cozy here in the Fischhus. You sit outside and have the harbor in front of you. I/we can only advise you to get a delicious meal here. The garlic sauce is particularly delicious. We were here at Fischhus every day and drank or ate something. Very nice people here who serve you. We will definitely be vacationing in Barth again next year.

I took two fish sandwiches, 1 with salmon and 1 with halibut. I've never had such great sandwiches and delicious rolls for €5.50 each anywhere within a 20 km radius. Absolutely recommended👍👍👍

We tried several (baked) fish rolls both on the Darß and in Rostock, but this was by far the tastiest! We would come back any time for the garlic sauce alone. Very friendly staff, seats even in the shade - great! We are coming again next year. Until then, greetings from the Saxons

Die Bedienung und das Essen waren fantastisch. Logisch, dass der Rosenkohl im August TK Ware ist, was man aber kaum merkt. Da könnte man eventuell mehr auf saisonale Ware zurückgreifen, aber das ist Jammern auf ganz hohem Niveau. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist auf jedem Fall perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

You can get much better fish sandwiches almost everywhere along the coast. There is 1 star for the subterranean behavior of the owner, who lectures, insults and degrades paying customers.

Im wunderbaren Lokal, mit bester Aussicht auf den Hafen, wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist eher bescheiden, die Zubereitung verdient aber gute Noten.

Restaurant July: neuer Besitzer seit März 2023! Außerordentliches Erlebnis: hervorragende Qualität der Speisen, sehr persönlicher und freundlicher Service, romantischer Blick auf den Hafen. 100 Prozent Empfehlung!

Solider Backfisch, freundlicher Inhaber!

Wir wollten endlich mal wieder im Speicher schön essen und haben uns auf das neue Küchenteam gefreut. Leider sind wir schon am Service gescheitert. Nach gefühlten fünf Minuten des Wartens kam die Frage, haben sie reserviert. Hatten wir nicht und im gesamte Gastraum und im Außenbereich saß kein Mensch, nur in der Veranda. Trotzdem wurden wir abgewiesen, und man sah dem Personal förmlich an, dass es keine Lust hatte. Schade, wir kommen nicht wieder.

Super nette Bedienung, leckere frische Fischbrötchen und direkt am Hafen.

Had 3 fish rolls. One was tasteless, one was extremely salty, one was ok. I don’t get the big lines.

Leckerer Backfisch mit oder ohne Pommes (eigentlich wilde Kartoffeln) und eine super Remoulade, eine echte Empfehlung!

Ein Restaurant mit Anspruch auf Mehr…aber der Weg nach Oben ist Steinig. So der Ausblick wunderbar und beruhigen Ambiente… die Pfifferlingssuppe fehlte etwas der Pep aber das wurde wieder weggemacht vom Spanferkel und Ochsenbäckchen und einem fruchtigen Weißwein…aber wir hätten auch gerne noch ein Dessert egal was genommenen aber leider war das Personal etwas überfordert mit so vielen Gästen oder zu wenig Personal das wir es ausfallen lassen mussten…Schade trotzdem guter Service mit Luft nach Oben… bitte beim nächsten mal besser
