Service very pleasant and friendly Food was rather poor

The people who work there are really nice, and the food (fried chicken or schnitzel with potato salad) was really incredibly delicious.

Flawless experience. Good food but the service in particular was excellent. Special mention to Andy for his dark beer recommendation and his complimentary digestif. And Jim for indulging my rusty German.

The pork belly was enjoyable, as was the beer. They open late which is also good and the staff were lovely.

Belle découverte grâce à Triparvisor. Avons mangé une véritable Winerschnitzel avec du veau comme il se doit et apfelstrudel en dessert accompagné d’un bon vin autrichien. L’entrée du restaurant est petite pour la trouver, heureusement on l’a vu après notre 2 eme passage dans la rue. Je le recommande vivement.

In the building of the Meridien Munich hotel, cozy modern bistrot type restaurant, excellent staff, very kind and well prepared. I had the beef ribs, super good. Also great Weiss beer.

Great and, despite its size, cozy restaurant with great service - especially our waiter Jim! The menu has a nice selection, we had delicious veal ribs. Clear recommendation!

Actually a cool shop. Our waiters were friendly and accommodating. I just didn't think the food was good enough to justify the prices. My spare ribs were strangely fatty and stringy. The schnitzel was good, but every other restaurant said that but charged 10 euros less.

Mega delicious food. Special requests are easily accommodated. Location inconspicuous from the outside, super cozy from the inside. The food is prepared with a lot of love and sophistication. The staff friendly and open-minded.

Very friendly service and cool atmosphere. The duck and especially the red cabbage were absolutely perfect and the veal ribs were also very good. We will definitely come back!

Been there with a group for construction, you can also do it together with customers. Eating just took a long time. At 10:30 p.m. some of us left and dessert wasn't even there.

Visited on 2024/12/25. I had heard that many restaurants were not open on Christmas, so I was looking for a restaurant where I could definitely make a reservation and go, which was helpful. We enjoyed Christmas with hamburgers and craft cola. The potatoes were very tasty. I felt that spice cola was generally delicious in Germany. I was able to feel the German atmosphere as local families gathered together to spend time there. Also, I felt that it was a city I definitely wanted to visit when I visited Munich. There is a garden inside, and you can also go outside and take photos with the Christmas tree.

This restaurant is located near the main train station in Le Méridien. We had chicken and (veal) schnitzel, both very tasty, the delicious fries were served in a cute mini cooking pot. We were served in a friendly and unobtrusive manner throughout and our seat at the window front (view of the hotel courtyard) was comfortable and it didn't get too loud. A real recommendation if you want to enjoy Bavarian cuisine without the wood-paneled, musty dining rooms.

Having just arrived in Munich, we stayed near the train station and looked for a place to have dinner as quickly as possible. It appeared to us as a suggestion and based on the ratings we decided to go. It was really very satisfying since from the moment we entered it was an incredible experience. The dishes we ordered were plentiful, tasty and reasonable for the price. We definitely recommend it and we would gladly return.

blah blah. Expensive, not exceptional, and unfriendly staff. I chose a typical dish: Schnitzel or breaded veal escalope; it was ordinary, and I've eaten better ones for less in the historic center.

Best food for the train journey I ordered the homemade Käsespätzle 2 Go and received it in less than 10 minutes. The Irmi is 1 minute away from the main station. The food was still warm even after 15 minutes on the train and tasted extremely delicious (no seasoning necessary). There was a napkin and jealous looks from the DB passengers included ;) I'll be back. Big thanks to the very nice staff (especially bartenders)

Very nice restaurant, I’m glad we chose it for our first dinner in Munich! Food was great. We tried the duck and the schnitzel, beer of course:))) Everything was amazing, so we booked a table for the New Year’s celebration! Thanks to staff Erwin, ver nice and polite gentleman!

Food here was ok but not amazing. Had breaded chicken, 'lukewarm' (that's what they call it on the menu) potato salad with leaves/tomato salad. Hubby had wiener schnitzel. I'm not sure what is so great about all this crumbed chicken, veal etc in Germany. It isn't particularly interesting food. The potato salad was too tangy as though they had added a lot of vinegar. The salad leaves and tomato tasted a bit old. Considering how expensive it is, I expected a lot better quality and taste. That said, the vibe is good and the service was great!

The food is too good for my taste. Maybe some people think it leaves something to be desired. The highlight is the service, extremely attentive and good-natured (a rare thing in Germany). I recommend it for Brazilians who are tired of cold service and rude waiters.

What a great way to start our Munich vacation/Bavarian adventure. I love this place- ambiance, staff, fooooood!!!! Better get a reservation or arrive early, otherwise you won’t get a table.

My wife and I ate here on December 15 and found it to be just OK. We shared a combination meat plate and while it was decent, it was also quite oily and salty versus similar German food we had on our trip. The service was quite good, and the restaurant has a nice feel, but overall we found the food to be average.

Decent brasserie cuisine (even if too salty). Decent wine list (a plus compared to traditional brasseries). Efficient and friendly staff... But the boss accepts reservations even though he is organizing a very, very noisy disco party. The guarantee for a bad evening!

The vigan hamburger and the fish where good. The vinershnitzel was not good the meat was hard.the beer was good but took a lot of time to get to the table.

Despite the neighbourhood, this restaurant has a very elegant atmosphere and great service. Staff can speak english well and happy to help. Food is high quality and the portions are satisfying.

Classic German dishes in a modern setting. The seating in this restaurant is open and airy, giving almost a biergarten feel. Service was friendly and efficient, food was okay. The starter of cold cuts, cheese, and some vegetarian alternatives was quite nice. I had the meatloaf and sausage which was OK, but the duck, schnitzel, and vegetarian hamburger would definitely have been better choices.

The only thing to rescue is the service, the waiter Ervin was super friendly, very attentive. The food is crazy expensive, kids menu of chicken with potatoes €18.5, lemonade €6.5. A water of 0.7 dl, €7.5. We spent €100 on a dinner for two adults and a 3-year-old child without alcohol. The food is correct but nothing out of the ordinary. I wouldn't go back.

The starter plate (bavarian) is nice, but be aware that it contains pork, but it's nice. My wife ate schnitzel, it was good but the potato salad on the side was mediocre.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. Good mixture of traditional Bavarian food and other dishes. Waitress were very busy and we waited 30+ minutes to get our order taken.

Despite the less appealing neighborhood near Munich Central Station, this restaurant offers a surprisingly elegant atmosphere, with delicious, beautifully presented food and friendly, attentive staff. A true hidden gem, perfect for a luxurious dining experience amidst the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended!

After a jam-packed “Wiesn” day, we simply went to Irmi. It was really tasty. The fried chicken was a poem. Juicy and crunchy at the same time. My buddy's Pfanderl would have been a good alternative. Maybe someone can explain to me what “Irmi” means.

Fantastic classic Bavarian dishes - I was spoiled for choice with the menu. I had the Giesinger brew goulash which was both tender and tasty and a weissbier to wash it down. The portion size was perfect too - not so much that I couldn't move. Would happily visit again to work my way through the whole menu.

Truly the highlight of my time in Munich. This place blew me away and is possibly the best food I've ever eaten. I'm not a culinary expert and the items I had did align with some of my favourite flavours, but even still. I also can't emphasize enough how unreasonably good the pulled pork burger is. Comparing it to other burgers is a disservice, something about it just combines and works on a level that really doesn't make sense. I suspect a part of it is that the burger format forces you to to get exactly the right mix of pork, sauce, and spiced apple in every bite. I'd love to see it get more attention with a different presentation, but I honestly don't know if it would work quite as well any other way. It's also a bit of a shame that the beyond excellent burger is paired with 'just' some perfectly cooked fries, but again probably a bit of an unavoidable sacrifice for the burger itself to work so well. The rest of the menu is also very good from what I saw and tried, whoever put the core menu together clearly understands nuanced flavour profiles. My gut feel is that there won't be any disappointments here, instead everything is great with some hidden gems. The atmosphere also always seems to be busy but never loud, conversation is always easy, with many tables in a concealed garden.

Unfortunately, despite the good reviews, I was disappointed. The food really wasn't good for the money. The extremely quick preparation time of 15 minutes could have told us that. The schnitzel for €33 was extremely dry and the fried potatoes were okay but really nothing outstanding. The goulash was good value for money but the meat was a bit tough. The apple spritzer also consisted of 90% water. The service was also ok and nice, but unfortunately we had to wait a long time until our plates were cleared and we got the bill. The best thing about the evening was the atmosphere in the courtyard. Overall I have to say it's unfortunately not worth the money.

We were staying near the train station and were looking for a place to have dinner that looked good. The place is very nice, it has a cozy internal space and an outdoor patio. The food was very good. We chose two typical dishes from the area, breaded chicken and pasta. They also have other options, all interesting. The attention was correct and friendly. Prices adjusted to quality and the city.

Great location at the main station with a beautiful courtyard. Service is great. Food is really great too. And there is Giesinger. 😊 Rather in the higher-priced segment for a Bavarian economy.

The food was nice and the waiter was really kind to us. We sat outside and we saw 2 mice going around us. That made the experience a bit disgusting and uncomfortable.

A bit meh restaurant, which is not enough for German standards. Started with a beef tak taki which is very expensive €26.50 and a sandwich with tatziki and two other toppings of which I didn't know what they were. But it wasn't really good either. Main course, a chicken burger and grilled chicken, were also not very good in terms of price-quality ratio. The chicken burger is fine, but you might as well go to McDonald's, considering the price is €20. The grilled chicken was served with crazy potatoes in cucumber sauce? We thought that was very strange....

We ate here last night based mostly on the restaurant having better reviews than most around. Our experience was so bad that I felt I needed to sleep on it before providing a response. My Fiancé has a pistachio allergy, which wouldn’t seem to be an issue being that nothing we ordered was listed as containing nuts. We both ordered the same dessert (a vanilla Creme brûlée equivalent) and fortunately I was the first to take a bite. When I realized there were pistachios I stopped her from eating just in time. We asked one of the servers if we had maybe misinterpreted the allergen menu, and she even confirmed that they were not listed. She said she would have another one made without pistachios. Here’s where things got much worse. We were presented another desert which we were assured did not have pistachios. It did. We should have scraped it apart and checked visually for her safety, but we assumed the verbal confirmation would be enough. Second bite in it was realized when the itching started. She had to immediately run back to the hotel room to grab medication and get things under control. I cannot describe how frustrating this was. Eating abroad with allergies is always risky and we understand that. However, I have never had an experience where it was explicitly stated that a dish would not contain an applicable allergen and it did. Extra star was for front of house crew (Ervin and co.) being great. They were operating on information given them, and similar to ourselves could not have known without tearing the dish apart.

Average food and drinks, waited around an hour for a burger and small cutlet with potato salad that was sub par. For reference there were several tables seated after my party of two and served well before us. Would not recommend

The restaurant is located right next to the train station. This is the restaurant of the Le Méridien hotel. It has large rooms. The menu is varied, with local recipes.  The cheese spatzles and goulash were very good as well as their burger. There is a generous children's menu with choices for the youngest. The food is good, the service was good, friendly, warm and fast.

The food was decent. The set menu isn't always good everyday and the A la carte has very limited choices. The interior was quite nice but some sofas of the booth had some insect that bit on skin that would cause irritance. They also had some issues with their fridges and stock on the day, so some drinks and foods weren't available. The waiter were very nice and apologized to us about the matter.

The server think he is making a joke,but not funny at all. The serve NOT polite to non german customers. The food comes with big portions. The burgers is so yummy. Restaurant inside the hotel.

Bavarian food for vegetarians! I came here in February and tried the vegetarian Mixed Bavarian Starter Plate and then had the vegetarian Irmis Pfanderl and I was really impressed. Finding Bavarian food that caters to vegetarians can be a bit tricky but I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try it. The service was fantastic as well.

Serving up Bavarian cooking in a modern and cosy setting. We had the Irmis Pfanderl, Potpurri (fish) and the Spargelfanne Jungschwein and all dishes were tasty and well cooked. We like it a lot and will most certainly be back!

💰 Here you can save with NeoTaste 💰 The three of us ate at IRMI and were unfortunately quite disappointed. First of all, you can't reach anyone by phone to make a reservation. We then arrived at the restaurant and there was error after error, especially in the service. At first we were greeted in English, but after it was clear that we were German, we were still given the English card. First we ordered a water with three glasses and three drinks. Instead of three glasses there were only two and instead of a non-alcoholic light beer there was a non-alcoholic wheat beer. The waiter here was so nice and brought me another light beer after I had drunk the wheat beer - that was very nice! Then we ordered. 2 starters and a main course. After about 45 minutes of waiting for the starter, we asked when it would arrive and after a few minutes it was there. The waitress put the food in front of us and asked if we would be ready for the main course in 10 minutes, as the kitchen was almost ready. We agreed and started eating them. After about 5 minutes and when about half of the starters were still there, the waitress came and asked if she could bring the main courses... The starters tasted very good. The snack board was generous and the salad was delicious. Unfortunately the main courses were nothing. Two burgers for over €20 and a salmon trout that was overcooked. The next problems were when paying. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't read us our bill again and so we ended up with one too many water on the bill. We brought this up and were told that we couldn't book back until the end of the month, but they would invite us for a fruit schnapps. Of course, inviting is relative here... All in all, not a successful visit and we probably won't be back.

Recommendation! Good address and significantly better than almost everything nearby! Through NeoTaste we found this really good restaurant with good service and ambience. Because of the good reviews, I tried the fried chicken, although with such things you are often disappointed with dry, hand-made, incorrectly prepared food, a waste of money. But not here. It was so good that Irmi is now on our list to visit in Munich and I'm looking forward to testing the whole menu soon. By the way, the homemade lemonade is also good (it has to be for 6.50). Finally, carnivores seem to get their money's worth here and with nice service. Thanks to Julian here!

Schnitzel very good. Also got white asparagus. Price slightly on the higher end. But overall great service and good.
