Top restaurant 😍 really, really nice service, great recommendations and the food was extremely tasty. Great for sitting inside and outside and the atmosphere is great. The price is also completely reasonable.

We had dinner here, a reservation is highly recommended. The starter and dessert were delicious: we shared the portobello mushrooms between the two of us - they were really great. The main courses (falafel bowl, fish and chips) were also good, but were a little less convincing. It's a shame that the fish and chips didn't come with malt vinegar but ketchup. The portions were also large and would have filled us even without a starter. We were missing options for a smaller dessert on the dessert menu. Furthermore: Appropriate labeling on the menu would make it much easier to recognize vegetarian and/or vegan dishes! All in all, we were satisfied here and would be happy to come back.

The food was of very high quality and tasty. Paris and Monaco franze were our selection. The accompaniments had the tight max and surf and turf. Changing facilities and high chairs are also available.

A beautiful restaurant in Passau that we can only recommend to everyone. Went here several times for breakfast and it was incredibly delicious. Here you will find a slightly different breakfast, high quality products and very friendly staff. Plus the view of the Inn.

The best place for breakfast! Great view of the inn, but if you want to sit in the winter garden you need to make a reservation as the place is very popular. Interesting, distinct flavors, very good coffee. I really liked the decor and the staff are always smiling and willing to advise. Everything delicious. Interesting, varied menu, also in terms of prices. The entrance from the street is currently poorly marked and is easy to miss. I visited the place on Sunday around 12 p.m. and then they served two menus - dinner and breakfast. In autumn and winter, the entrance from the Inn is closed and you must enter from the street.

The reopening was good! Service is and has always been great but now the food is as it should be again! Breakfast and lunch have been really good so far, especially the PiriPiri chicken.

We were there for lunch. The food was very good and the gentleman in service was very friendly, including to the children 👍🏻 What we found very disturbing was the loud, booming German rap. We find this choice of music and at this volume very inappropriate for a restaurant that should appeal to young and old. You could definitely find a slightly less intrusive option here that would make the ambience pleasant for everyone.

One of the best brunch spots in Passau! The staff are very friendly, the dishes are nicely presented and delicious! We tried both savory and sweet dishes and they were really good. The view to the river is great!

Since we celebrated our wedding in the Innsteg, we return to this wonderful place at least once a year to celebrate our special moments. The recent renovation has given the interior a modern, yet inviting and stylish ambience that invites you to linger. The vegan cuisine is particularly noteworthy: the dishes not only taste excellent, but are also extremely filling and creatively prepared - a real treat for the palate! The service is simply excellent: extremely friendly, courteous and characterized by a warmth that is rarely encountered these days. Every visit is an experience for the senses - we are already looking forward to the next time!

Yesterday afternoon I was at the Innsteg with a friend. We received the menu and it showed a “Gypsy Schnitzel”. I asked the waitress about it. In 2024, such a designation should no longer be seen. We then left.

Very very good restaurant! We ate the Piri Piri chicken (pictured) and ox cheeks with fried potatoes instead of spaetzle. The sauces tasted great and the meat was also very tender. The waitresses are friendly and accommodating. Clear recommendation 😊👍🏼

This was the first time we've been here for breakfast in a while since the change of operator. We had conveniently reserved a table online in advance. We then ordered a small acai bowl, Eggs Benedict and an Innsteg breakfast, plus 1 cappuccino, 1 latte macchiato and an orange juice. Everything was at the table quickly and tasted great, both the drinks and the individual components of the breakfast. This was definitely the best breakfast we've had in a long time, it was beautifully presented and the service was super friendly. In the end we paid just over €50 and it was worth every cent. We'd love to come back soon!

We really enjoy coming here and have always been extremely happy with the food. Unfortunately we had on September 19th. three very oversalted dishes, which somewhat marred our otherwise positive experience. I hope the owner addresses the issue with the chef so that the quality we are used to here is maintained. Nevertheless, we really appreciate the restaurant and will happily come back!

The food was very good and there was a great selection and sometimes something different than the standard breakfast! The service was also okay 😊 The view of the river from the glass terrace is of course very beautiful. All in all, we were very satisfied and would come back at any time.

Passau can do it easily and the Innsteg is constantly reinventing itself. Very cool!

Had a great table on the terrace, after ordering we were informed that several products could not be found. But these still have to be taken care of and we will get them later (this was not the case). The Eggs Benedict are not prepared with a brioche bun like on the menu but with simple toast. According to the waiter, this has never been different. Please adjust the map. The waiting time for breakfast was 45 minutes. The toilets were pretty dingy. The entire stay was quite chaotic and still shows some deficits. The super friendly waiter made up for a lot. In the end, the hot drinks were on the house and we will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu and enjoy the great ambience at the Inn.

We went to the new Innsteg with curiosity and our expectations were fully met. Not only was the food delicious and beautiful to look at, but the service staff was also extremely friendly, attentive and quick (even though we were sitting in the far corner, quite hidden). The food came very promptly. A request to modify the dish was immediately accepted and constructively supplemented. Only the berry mix on the bowl wasn't particularly generous. Both dishes were still awesome. And to be honest, it's hard to decide when it comes to the creative card. The Dinzler cappuchino was the perfect temperature, the milk was super creamy, pleasant beans, but overall a bit too strong for my taste - as if the coffee-milk ratio could still be optimized. (constructive criticism at a very high level!) My elderberry spritzer had hardly any taste. But hey, you can totally ignore that. Around 1 p.m., on Wednesday lunchtime, it was lightly attended. We didn't need a reservation. The food and the overall impression were so positive (!!!) that we will definitely come back more often. Because the other dishes also sound so exciting and want to be tried.

We actually wanted to eat there today. However, when we arrived we discovered that there was no parking there. After driving back and forth twice, we decided to go somewhere else.

There were 6 people there today at 3:15 p.m. and the food was delicious, but there are two big negative points: The vegan curry “bowl” is a flat plate with too little content. We ordered 3 more rice for all three “bowls” but were “charged” at €6 unofficially. We would have had to pay €36.5 for our things and paid an additional €2 for our portion of rice, but he didn't enter it into the device or calculate it. Absolutely suspicious and obvious that the money didn't go to the restaurant.

The new tenant/owner is doing everything right. Staff is great! We're looking forward to eating up and down the menu :-) Sweet potato fries with beetroot ketchup/vegan aioli, burrito and red curry bowl were a feast for the eyes and the palate.

Hey guys, 7.90 euros, 7.90 for a piece of cheesecake with a dollop of jam and 3 wafer-thin slices of strawberry. I think that's a disgrace, honestly!!! I'm totally horrified!

Spontaneously, slightly hungry, I went to the new Innsteg. Yes, what can I say, I was pleasantly surprised. Service was great and the food and the ambience don't need to be hidden. My decision, you will see me here more often. 5 deserved stars

We had breakfast at the Innsteg today. I was thinking about ordering the Crunch Bowl in S (€4.90) or L (€8.90). I ordered the L as a precaution, which was a good decision as the S was really mini (a small dessert glass). Based on the price differences, I would have expected something different here. Unfortunately I was very disappointed because the menu said “with fruit” and “mixed berries”. The fruit consisted of a few slices of kiwi and a physalis. The “Berry MIX” was exactly 2 blackberries 😄 I found that a bit ridiculous and the whole thing a bit boring. Personally, the homemade granola was far too sweet for me, but that's probably a matter of taste. My companions each ordered white sausages with pretzels, which unfortunately only arrived a good 5-10 minutes after my bowl. The white sausage was delicious, the pretzel was ok, but unfortunately it didn't taste or seem so fresh anymore (see pictures). All in all we were a bit disappointed as the reviews are really good and the other things looked really tasty too. We will definitely come back and try out both the pancakes and the evening menu again. Maybe there will be another update to the review ☺️

Landed in this restaurant for the first time by chance. A very nice, friendly restaurant, we only had something to drink, but the next time we visit Passau we will eat something. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we felt very comfortable. I would recommend it 100%

I really enjoy being here, I can almost call myself a regular guest now. The waitresses, especially Anna, are always nice and courteous and are happy to offer help with problems and questions. The food has always been exquisite (I've now eaten half the menu). The homemade lemonades are top.

So I don't know what your chef does for a living... I ordered my steak medium, which I returned because it had nothing to do with medium. When the waitress brought it back to me, I repeatedly had it go back because this time it was completely cooked through. I then asked the waitress to bring me the bill. Really not recommended!

The terrace is directly located at the river Inn, which is perfect for outdoor seating and allows to watch the people along the cycle way. We had a delicious breakfast and the portions are more than enough. The coffee was also very good. Location, Food and Service is top.

Definitely a must visit in Passau. You can have a meal and a drink while watching the bridge that passes from Germany to Austria.

Food was okay but nothing special, which was disappointing considering the prices. We also received the wrong dish and when what we ordered finally arrived after the complaint, the side dish wasn't quite ready. Staff were friendly and if they hadn't messed up our order there wouldn't have been anything to complain about. Our conclusion: You can visit the “new” Innsteg, but you don’t have to.

Nice service, the food is great, the portions are very large. It just tastes great. We had a table outside, but due to a storm we moved inside, it wasn't a problem. The drinks were great. Gladly again.

A few weeks ago I made a reservation via Instagram for a slightly larger group on a Monday. This was also confirmed to me. Now I contacted you again via Instagram to make sure that the reservation went through. The message was read but no response. So I took a closer look at the profile and noticed that Mondays are now exactly the day off. If I hadn't discovered this by chance, there would have been almost 20 people standing in front of a closed restaurant - even though the reservation had already been confirmed. At least a rejection from the restaurant would have been nice.

From the street side there is currently construction work, but it's worth going in. Beautifully located on the Inn, great ambience and the best service I've had in recent years. Very attentive and nice waiters. Here the customer is king and feels absolutely welcome.

The house has been under construction for months, so you can enter a construction site from the outside. The service and food were good. It wasn't really clean under the table. We were only given simple sheets of paper as a menu. You can go back again, but you don't have to.

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and excellent service. Incredibly polite staff. Price is good (12-16€ for a good size meal).

I had a falafel bowl, but it was more of a falafel plate. Unfortunately, I imagine a bowl to be a different combination. I see the Farmstead as a pioneer here. We'll try the classics next time. But it was tasty and nicely prepared too. The cheesecake was outstanding. Service was courteous and friendly. The location is and remains one of the most beautiful in Passau.

We were in Passau over the weekend and found the restaurant on Google by chance. The food, drinks and ambience were just perfect! We have rarely felt so comfortable and welcome. The food was extremely tasty and thoughtful, with a high level of quality. We can really recommend the restaurant to everyone!

We had breakfast on the Innsteg in a very great atmosphere. The breakfast etagere was beautifully presented and of high quality. The only drawback was the very crumbly baked goods. Here we would have been happy about fresh rolls or bread. The service was a bit chaotic, but very friendly and personable.

We were at the Innsteg for the first time today and were very excited. The ambience, the service, the drinks and the dishes were all great. That certainly wasn't the last time we were here.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not a professional service. We reserved a table at the window and that was confirmed. And when we were there they took our table for another reservation and sat us at a dark table right by the kitchen counter. They didn't react in a friendly way, more like they didn't care. Of course we didn't want to sit there so we got up and left.

Top location under the new tenant! Furnishings are a dream - almost like being at home! Service very nice and accommodating.. Breakfast tastes perfect because you can simply taste the quality of the products. Lovingly prepared on top! Guys behind the bar for everyone to have fun. We'd love to come back! LG Katja

You feel really comfortable in the new Innsteg. The Inn flows past outside and the cool furniture makes you feel like you're on a ship. The food is good and the conditions are super nice and friendly.

Today we reserved a table outside by the window. Already made reservations on Wednesday for my birthday dinner this evening. And our table was simply passed on for another reservation and we were supposed to take the table next to the kitchen??!! Sorry, that's how you alienate guests who have already been there and were happy. But I don't know if we will come again. Of course the evening is now over. Since we couldn't find a place anywhere on Saturday evening and our mood is of course low. Pretty screwed up, I would say. Unfortunately, the good impression is completely gone.

The new Innsteg has become very beautiful. The extremely competent bartender (Funsi) and our waiter (Flo) particularly stood out positively. I'd love to come back.

Excellent eatery! Great food, very friendly service. What stands out are the drinks - there are a whole range of creative variations of Spritz - and the ambience with a wonderful view of the river. In addition, the furnishings are stylish, but not cool. The Innsteg can be found in the interior, Art Nouveau vibes.

We had already passed by during the still sunny day where people were enjoying the terrace next to the river. Escaping the cold and drizzle rain in the eveneing we found a comfy restaurant with friendly service. We went for Southern German classic Käsespätzle and the weekend offer of spare ribs, which were both tasty and good portions.

Sehr leckeres Essen, guter Service und neben der schönen Einrichtung drinnen ein unschlagbarer Blick auf den Inn. Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs 3x dort und freuen uns auf das nächste mal. ☺️

Angesteuert haben wir das Lokal wegen der Lage. Wir wollten nur eine Kleinigkeit essen, setzten uns auf die untere Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Inn. Über die Restauration kann ich nichts aussagen. Aber unsere Bestellung (Cheese cake und Kaiserschmarren mit Pflaumen) waren ein Genuss. Punktabzug, da am Eingang der Desinfektionsspender (herannahende neue COVID Variante) leer war und auf der blitzsauberen Toilette keine Papierhandtücher zur Verfügung standen und der Warmlufttrockner nicht funktionierte (Hände mit Toilettenpapier getrocknet).

Sehr gutes Frühstück, guter Service und schöner Blick auf den Inn.

Large shrimp was great and were shell-on, butterflied and fresh. Nice riverside location above the path along the Inns river offers a nice view without path traffic blocking the view. Friendly staff, made riverside reservation same day (Thursday night) without trouble.

Waren zu sechst Sonntags beim Frühstücken. Wetter war hervorragend für draussen zu sitzen. Tolles Ambiente direkt an der Innpromenade. Für uns war die Auswahl ausreichend und lecker,ich hatte den Pancakes Brunch mit Obst, Ahornsirup, Marmelade,Butter, Nutella und Speck. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Kommen gerne wieder

Hervorragendes Essen, tolle selbstgemachte Limonaden & Säfte, eine sehr gute Lage mit Ausblick auf den Inn und das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr empfehlenswert!
