Birreria Venti Tre in Passau

Ich hatte den Antipastiteller für eine Person und einen Aperol Spritz – beides war sehr lecker. Der Service war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders der ruhige Innenhof hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Gerne wieder!

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service tadellos. Es gibt glutenfreie Pasta und Pizza für Zöliakiebetroffene. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und der Besitzer sehr nett. Ich kann die Terrasse nur empfehlen.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal Essen sehr schmackhaft und ganz frisch zubereitet. Gastgarten sehr nett mit Springbrunnen und auch bei hohen Temperaturen angenehm zu sitzen. Wände sollten gestrichen und Fenster gereinigt werden,das würde ein noch schöneres Ambiente geben.

Das Essen und die Freundlichkeit des Personals sind wirklich hervorragend. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die Salate. Zu beanstanden haben wir, dass der Preis für ein Glas Leitungswasser mit über 3,-€ in unseren Augen viel zu hoch ist.

Wir sind per Zufall hier gelandet und waren total begeistert! Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen reichlich und sehr fein abgestimmt, fantastisch! Auch der Innenhof mit dem plätschernden Springbrunnen verlieh dem Ganzen ein südländisches Flair und war selbst bei 34°C im Schatten sehr angenehm zum Sitzen. Einzig die Wände, von denen der rankende Efeu entfernt wurde, könnte man schöner herrichten und die Fenster putzen… alles andere wirkte sehr einladend! 🤗

Das Essen und die Bedienung waren wirklich top 👍👍👍Danke. Die Location ist eigentlich wunderschön aber etwas Pflege würde dem Innenhof nicht schaden, vor allem der Brunnen würde sich über frisches sauberes Wasser freuen, das riecht man etwas. Alles in allem aber ein wunderschöner Abend 👍

Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente ob im Garten oder im Innenraum. Habe es schon weiterempfohlen. 👍👍👍

Sind kurz nach 17 Uhr an einem Sonnabend ohne Vorbestellung eingekehrt. Nach einem Getränk wollten wir nach ca. einer halben Stunde unser Essen bestellen - aus der Tageskarte Hirschgulasch und Forelle. Uns wurde jetzt erst erklärt, dass diese Gerichte heute nicht verfügbar sind. Im Innenbereich gab es eine große Tafel mit ausgewiesenen Gerichten, also umdisponiert und Kalbfleisch bestellt. Auch diesesmal wurde uns erst jetzt erklärt, dass diese Essen nicht verfügbar sei! Als jetzt Pizza bestellt .... durchschnittlich. Müsste der Gast nicht zuvor informiert werden bevor er alles abfragen muss. Kann das Restaurant NICHT empfehlen!

Das Ventitre befindet sich im Innenhof einer ehemaligen Bierbrauerei. Von außen sieht es eher bescheiden aus, aber der Innenhof wurde schön gestaltet und man sitzt dort ruhig und mit italienischem Trattoria-Flair. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen schmeckte hervorragend:Spaghetti Emilia, Rosmarinbrot und Insalata Caprese. Wir kommen beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen und super Service

Die guten Bewertungen können nicht echt sein!! Wir können uns den bisherigen 1Sterne-Bewertungen nur anschließen und vergeben 1 Stern für den guten Preis für das Bier! Ich Bm grundsätzlich kein Freund, schlechte Bewertungen abzugeben, aber vielleicht hilft es dem Chef, hier mal etwas zu ändern! Service schlecht, Essen schlecht (Arrabbiata schwammen in Öl, Pizza mit dickem Teig und sicher keinen Mozzarella als Käse, dafür auch total fettig, Beilagensalat beim Italiener mit Joghurtdressing)…Das Ambiente im Durchgang zum Hof und dem Innenhof selbst empfanden wir als schmuddelig und ungemütlich. Alles in allem nicht empfehlenswert!

Ich kenne das VentiTre schon so lange aber seit dem letzten mal nicht mehr wieder zu erkennen !! Ich denke dass ein neuer Koch und neuer Besitzer da ist. Vorspeise Gambas ali olio waren immer die besten in der Umbegung, jetzt leider NICHT mehr empfehlenswert !!! Bedienung war sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Uns werden sie jedoch nicht mehr sehen, bin so enttäuscht was daras geworden ist!!

Das Venti Tre ist unser Lieblingsitaliener in der Umgebung und das hat sich mit dem neuen Betreiber wieder bestätigt! Das Essen ist sehr gut, die Portionen wirklich ausreichend, keine lange Wartezeit, der Service kompetent & freundlich und das Ambiente mit italienischer Musik authentisch und wirkt mit den Tischtüchern auch einladender 😉

War nach langer Zeit hier und angenehm überrascht. Tolles Essen (z.B. Muscheln auf der Tageskarte), gute Antipasti, beste Pizzen. Der Service war nicht nur freundlich, sondern auch schnell. Es wurde auf die Bedürfnisse mit zwei Kleinkindern und auch Hunden eingegangen.

Sehr schlechter Service, haben auf das Essen über 1,5 h TROTZ Reservierung gewartet. Es wurde mit uns null kommuniziert warum das so lange dauert . Die Gerichte kamen zu unterschiedlich Zeiten an. Der Höhepunkt ist das, dass uns ein Salat berechnet wurde , den wir nicht bestellt haben. Dieses Lokal ist nicht empfehlenswert!!!!

Das alte Restaurant war gut – was daraus geworden ist, können wir leider nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten drei Gerichte bestellt. Das erste ließ uns eine Stunde warten. Das zweite kam zehn Minuten später – war aber falsch. Ein Ersatz würde „sehr lange dauern", hieß es – also verzichteten wir. Das dritte Gericht erschien schließlich, doch der bestellte Beilagensalat fehlte. Als ich die Bedienung freundlich darauf ansprach, erhielt ich eine ausgesprochen schroffe Antwort. Wir haben unser Essen beendet und das Lokal zügig verlassen – ohne das Gefühl, als Gast willkommen gewesen zu sein. Lange Wartezeiten, falsche Bestellungen und ein unfreundlicher Umgangston sind keine Kleinigkeiten. Wir hoffen, dass das Restaurant diese Probleme ernst nimmt – momentan ist ein Besuch jedoch nicht zu empfehlen.

Bis zur Getränke Aufnahme und Bestellung verging eine halbe Stunde. Das Essen kam eine Stunde später. In Summe vergingen 90 Minuten bis wir bei einer einfachen Bestellung dass Essen bekamen. Das neue Restaurant hat nichts mit dem alten zu tun. Sehr schade.

I arrived with high expectations and was bitterly disappointed. My drink order was forgotten. The wait was 35 minutes. The appetizer was okay, but it only came with three slices of bread. The main course arrived after almost two hours. It was oversalted. The side salad was missing. The service was friendly but overwhelmed. Empty glasses piled up. I'll never come back.

We were greeted by a very friendly young server who served us delicious bruschetta. The wait times were pleasantly short, and the ambiance is truly inviting and beautifully designed. We felt completely at ease and would gladly return!

We were there with a group on a Friday (we had a reservation), and the restaurant was only half full. The staff was overwhelmed; we had to wait 45 minutes for drinks and two hours for our food. The food itself was really good, no complaints there. Guests who arrived half an hour after us had already eaten and paid, while we hadn't even received our food yet.

Unfortunately, zero stars isn't an option – we were humiliated in front of the entire restaurant. If you're paying for humiliation, you should at least know where to go: Venti Tre. Our visit on Friday was so absurd that you'd hardly believe it if you hadn't experienced it yourself. We waited for over 2.5 hours – without food, without an explanation, without anything. When my colleague politely inquired about our food, the unthinkable happened: The waiter (who, according to his colleague, had been there for six months) completely lost it and suddenly started yelling at us. And not quietly. Not discreetly. No – so loudly that the entire restaurant turned to look at us. We were practically humiliated in front of all the guests, as if we were the troublemakers, even though all we wanted to know was why we still hadn't received our food after two and a half hours. The climax: "Get out, that's enough, get out!" Screamed. Not spoken. Screamed. So there you are, standing there—without food, but with a free public humiliation thrown in. I have never experienced anything more embarrassing, unprofessional, and disrespectful in my entire life. In short: Beautiful buildings, yes. But what good is that if you, as a paying guest, are treated like you're in the way? If you want to be publicly yelled at and thrown out, this is the place for you. Everyone else: Give it a wide berth.

We've eaten at Venti-Tre in Passau several times before. It's generally a cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and nice ambiance. The food is always delicious and there's not much to complain about. All in all, always worth a visit. However, today's service is prompting me to write my first Google review. Because of the pub crawl taking place in Passau, it was busier than usual, but not overwhelmingly crowded. We had to wait up to 45 minutes for drinks (despite asking twice), and we waited over 1.5 hours for our food. We had to ask three times during that period because we kept getting forgotten. According to the server, paying at the table wasn't possible; everyone had to queue individually at the bar. My bill came to €27.50. Because of the poor service that day, we decided not to leave a tip. This was also a first for me, as I usually like to round up when the food is good and the service is attentive. But even so, it's not a huge deal. I handed the server a €100 note. He responded rudely: "How much would you like me to round up to?!" My jaw dropped at that, and I simply replied: "I'll pay the corresponding amount." The server then took the €100 note and asked again: "So, is that all right? Thanks!" Because of his provocative manner, I simply said: "No, of course that's not right, and of course I'm not giving a €72.50 tip! I'm paying €27.50, and I'd like the change back, please!" I don't usually take things too seriously and am always happy to give a tip and have a bit of fun. I also understand that servers/waiters have stressful shifts, but begging for a tip in such an unpleasant way and making fun of the customer is, in my opinion, unacceptable.

Not recommended. The toilets are a disaster, full of cobwebs and not properly cleaned. I didn't receive any change back; they just kept it as a tip.

We made a reservation for 5 people at 8:00 PM. We were served at 8:50 PM, only to be told at 8:55 PM that the kitchen had lost interest in cooking?! I've never experienced anything like it.

We wanted to grab a bite to eat just before 10 pm. Unfortunately, it was already closed, even though it was supposed to be open until 11 pm. What a shame.

Hello. We've been here many times and were disappointed again. The noise level was terrible, but that's not to be expected. We were at Venti Tre with someone who CAN ONLY eat gluten-free. Even with a pre-order, it was forgotten for the third time (we even arranged it by email). This person traveled all the way from Munich, and we had even pre-ordered two dough balls. The waitress told us they unfortunately didn't have any more, even though it would have been very quick to prepare. We would have gladly waited... this should never happen in a restaurant. And then they shouldn't advertise that they offer gluten-free options if you can't get anything despite pre-ordering. So we only ordered drinks and left immediately. It's really disappointing. We're very disappointed. They also ran out of beer after 7 pm, despite us being on a pub crawl. This simply shouldn't happen!!!

Gluten-free pizza is only available if you're lucky. Friendly and attentive service.

Although the food and atmosphere are excellent, it's simply unacceptable to wait 1.5 hours for the food, not to mention the lack of glasses for wheat beer, and even the fact that regular beer wasn't available at 6:45 pm. Overall, the service is rather poor. A real shame.

Venison goulash with yeast dumplings or fried potatoes: very tasty, absolutely the best dish Pizza Verdura: would be good if it weren't too salty Gnocchi with tomato sauce: unfortunately boring, doesn't taste homemade The trout: is okay, has potential for improvement Sirloin steak with baked potato and quark: good if the steak isn't overcooked Tiramisu: unfortunately too sweet A vegan pasta and cream option would be great Atmosphere: nice outside, okay/good inside, unfortunately a bit too dark The entrance could be nicer, especially with the bright light illuminating the table. All in all, but definitely worth a visit for the venison goulash!

Unusual ambience in a courtyard with industrial charm.

The food is really a 1/10 - but the service is pretty funny and helpful and the atmosphere is great too.

The service was completely overwhelmed for two people, even though less than half the tables were occupied. First, we got the wrong drink, then a long wait. Well, at least we got everything we needed, unlike the table next door, where one of their meals was completely forgotten. The pizza didn't knock us off our feet, though; luckily, they served olive oil, otherwise, it would have been impossible to eat, as dry as it was.

Visited again after a long time. It was my birthday dinner, and there were five of us. Due to bad weather, the garden was closed. It was quite crowded inside; despite having made a reservation, we only got a seat at the very back. A somewhat gloomy atmosphere, very poor lighting, but it was OK. We waited 80 minutes for four pizzas. Unfortunately, the pasta dish never arrived. After asking several times, the young lady told us that she hadn't added it to our bill. No "I'm sorry" or anything like that. We didn't order a replacement and ended up with a tiramisu "on the house." The pizzas were very good, the salads tasted bland and not very visually appealing. The tomatoes were of the cheapest quality, simply watery and flavorless. You can clearly see that they're cutting back on trained staff, or they simply don't have them anymore. They all seem to be temporary workers or students. Inattentive, looking at the floor or the order boy as they walk away. At first, we waited forever for our first drinks, and then they didn't ask if we wanted anything else. It was like: no introduction, no training, just tie on your apron and off you go. Unfortunately, that's not enough. You can see that in the many online reviews these days. We'll take a break for a while and not go there again.

Very good service; we ate there a few days ago. While eating my tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce, I thought it would taste very sour...and then, 10 hours later, I had diarrhea and was vomiting. I'm very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it.

The food was excellent! The courtyard was very cozy, but unfortunately the service was completely overwhelmed (Monday evening).... BUT the women's restrooms were a complete, terrible disaster—cobwebs covered the entire ceiling, and the restroom itself obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. Unfortunately, the excellent food can't make up for that for me. 🤷

Edit: Unfortunately, the old manager is no longer with us. The entire staff seems to have changed with him. And with him, the service quality is completely down! The waiters really try hard, but waiting 40 minutes for drinks, not taking our food orders, forgetting half of it, getting half of it wrong... Difficult... The staff really tried their best to serve the guests as quickly as possible; you can't blame them. Nevertheless, the evening felt very disorganized. It's a shame that things changed so drastically in such a short time. I hope everything returns to a similar level to what it was before June 2025.

Visit on June 28, 2025. A very nice restaurant in the courtyard – you'd think you were in Italy. Very good value for money for Passau. The food was delicious and plentiful. Reservations are recommended – the best spot is a table by the fountain. It's important to know that restaurants like this still exist. Service was quick and attentive, without the impression of being intrusive. I'd be happy to come back.

We (and all the other guests) had to wait about 1.5 to 2 hours for our food (Tuesday evening). The pizza bread was hard, and there was little tomato or garlic to see or taste. The "Verdura" salad, with a lot of leaf lettuce and artichokes, was hard. The antipasti was very good, but was served on a small—completely overfilled—side plate. The service, however, was very attentive and friendly. However, I would have appreciated an explanation for the very long wait. A limoncello, etc., as a small apology would have been nice.

**Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing – no gluten-free options despite prior confirmation** We had made a reservation for four people by phone and explicitly stated that one person would need to eat gluten-free (celiac disease). The menu also stated that all pizzas and pasta dishes were also available gluten-free. When we arrived, we were surprised to be informed that there was *neither gluten-free pizza dough nor gluten-free pasta*. A brief apology – nothing more. Therefore, there was **no food option at all** for our son, who has celiac disease. The whole thing was particularly annoying, as we had traveled over 200km especially for this, and it was very difficult to find an alternative at 7 p.m. With such a significant dietary restriction as celiac disease, this is not only unprofessional, but problematic. Unfortunately, **not recommended** for people with intolerances or special dietary needs.

It's a really nice courtyard, and the service was extremely friendly! You feel really comfortable. Unfortunately, I didn't think the food was that great. It was very expensive for pasta that was a bit overcooked and tasted like I had made it quickly after work. I didn't get the feeling of "nice Italian food." I thought that was a shame. Especially for the high price of 15.90 euros :/ But the atmosphere was great! And I didn't try the pizza.

An Italian restaurant that is simply (or multiply) good. After five years I was back in Passau and of course in the Venti Tre again. Since the restaurant is very busy, you should make a reservation. The pizza 🍕 tasted excellent again.

One of the best restaurant in passau ❤️ antipasti, grilled calamari and mussels in tomato sauce are highly recommended! The place is always quite busy, so better reserve in advance.

Unfortunately, our experiences at this restaurant have always been disappointing. We went there three times in total and each time we were not allowed to eat for various reasons, even though we arrived at a time when the restaurant was still open. -First visit: We arrived around 8pm, without a reservation, but even though there were many tables available, we were told we couldn't get a seat. - Second visit: Again we came around 8:30 p.m., but the waitress explained to us that no further orders would be accepted due to the high volume. - Third visit: Again at 8:55 p.m., this time with the explanation that the kitchen could not serve any more guests due to a lack of staff. We were also turned away on a previous attempt to place a take-out order around 7pm on the grounds that there was too much business and the kitchen was overwhelmed. When we drove by in person, we noticed that there were a lot of tables available and it wasn't very busy. I am very disappointed by the repeated bad experiences and poor service. It seems the restaurant is struggling to handle business even when it's not busy. I hope that these issues will be resolved in the future, but unfortunately after this experience we will not be returning.

We had a local tip for this restaurant. Even without a reservation we got a nice seat and the service was extremely friendly. The outdoor area looks urban and cool. The food came very quickly, unfortunately the pizza was more of a tarte flambée and the calamari was also a bit carelessly fried. All in all, a nice place to eat with a bit of room for improvement in terms of cuisine.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Obwohl wir spontan und ohne Reservierung erschienen sind, war der Kellner sehr bemüht noch einen Platz für uns zu finden. Hat zum Glück geklappt. Das Essen, teilweise Tagesgerichte, teilweise von der Karte, waren alle sehr gut. Schön angerichtet und große Portionen. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und nettes Personal.

We have been here again for a long time now. There was a lot going on, but we still got a table in the courtyard. We ordered bruschetta, pizza prosciutto and baby calamari with salad, plus a total of 3 beers. Everyone in service was very nice and the starter was quickly at the table. Unfortunately, the bread from the bruschetta was rock hard - apparently toasted for too long, otherwise it would have tasted good. Shortly afterwards the main courses arrived. The taste of both dishes was ok, unfortunately not anymore. The base of the pizza dough was reminiscent of tarte flambée dough, which wasn't supposed to be the case, and the calamari really didn't need to be fried - the whole dish would have tasted much better if it had been grilled or fried. In the end we paid just under €45, which is absolutely ok, but unfortunately we weren't really satisfied this time. But the service and ambience were great.
