The best and authentic Indian food I ever ate.. Everyone should try to Kosha Mangsho here. Also the Biriyani was the best I ever ate in Germany.. the staff was the best. He gave us 5 star treatment in everyway by making us feel comfortable and giving extra services.

We were there for the first time today. It was really very tasty. Everything is freshly cooked and even the spices such as curry are ground in the kitchen. Quality is still important here. We'll be back!

During my recent trip to Cologne, I found this Indian restaurant close to my hotel Wasserturm. Great Food and hospitality. Parmeet or Paramjeet (Cannot recollect the name exactly), is a great guy you can get connected with the moment you step into the restaurant. Saw so many Indian families and Indian people enjoying the food. Great taste. Must visit. Highly recommended. Authentic Indian food including Samosa Chat and all other Indian food items.

My wife and I came across this restaurant after walking around the corner and finding the restaurant we intended to go to closed. All I can say is I have never been more grateful for a closed restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Singh and Andreas were very pleasant and attentive. The thing we’re most disappointed about is that we’re only in Köln 2 more days. 5/5 would recommend and we will be back before we depart! Update: we went back for lunch and they did not disappoint! Singh suggested his favorite curry dish and it was delicious! We also repeated the butter chicken and it was just as good as the first time we had it! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Do not miss your opportunity to eat here when in Köln.

Aside from the delicious food, the service is outstanding. You rarely receive such first-class service. They also make a special effort to ensure that everything on the table is neat and, above all, clean. Were very satisfied.

Three of us came to Kama Sutra by chance. We received an extremely positive and warm welcome. After studying extensive menus (menu, wine list, drinks list) and some professional advice, we are totally enthusiastic about the food, drinks and cocktails. Finely adjusted level of spiciness, tasty dishes, great rice. You simply have to experience it. Gladly again and see you next time.

Honestly, the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. My friends and I drove up to colonge from Berlin for an event. We found this place by chance as it was walking distance from our hotel. Everything was perfect! The decor is lovely, the atmosphere is relaxing (always great when you can hold a quiet conversation). The service was absolutely top notch! And the food! Just phenomenal! We had the chef's choice tasting dish (available for 2 or more people). You get the quality and service of a gourmet, expensive restaurant for a pretty reasonable price. I absolutely loved it! I'm now looking for any excuse to come back to Colonge , so I can eat at Kamasutra again.

The place is a little hyped for the reviews it had. Paneer was okayish at best. Dal Tadka was one of the best I had. But one thing that I didn't like about the restaurant was it's manager/owner. Wir hatten anlässlich meines Geburtstages eine Woche vorher einen Tisch für zwei reserviert. Als wir im Restaurant eintrafen, konnte unsere Reservierung nicht gefunden werden. Der Inhaber machte aber alles möglich, uns einen Tisch zuzuweisen. Das Essen ( Lammragout, Butter-Chicken und Kulfieis) war sehr lecker. In den Ragouts hätten allerdings einige Fleischstücke mehr sein können. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Als Überraschung gab es zum Schluss noch ein Geburtagsständchen mit Kuchen!

Fanilien-run restaurant with a lot of heart and delicious food of the best quality! There is also a large selection of gin and other drinks - if you are looking for something special, this is the right place! Of course the prices have increased, but the dishes are authentic, fresh and you get helpful personal recommendations. Worth every penny! The service is really outstanding and you feel like you are staying with friends. Thanks! We have been guests a few times now and have definitely found our favorite restaurant here.

Indian restaurant with unfortunately more than high prices! It starts with the drinks and ends with 5 shrimps for an incredible €47! The food was tasty (except for the slightly bitter baby eggplant), but not outstanding. In addition, the portions were quite manageable and consisted largely of sauce. The restaurant itself is sparkling clean, small and simple, but impresses with, for example, perfectly folded napkins. The service is very friendly, everything was really right :)

It used to be good. We have known the Kama Sutra for about 15 years. Our last visit was rather disappointing, so we would rather eat Indian somewhere else in the future. Chairs that are now really worn out, oh well. It's nice to be asked if you want the food spicy. Then, despite the request not to serve it spicy, it came out so spicy that we hardly tasted anything. When you order a second glass of wine, the not completely empty glass is refilled at the table.... The whole time, YouTube clips with the corresponding advertising breaks are playing as musical accompaniment. It doesn't work at all!! Sorry, but serving with cloth gloves doesn't make up for the very high prices.

I would particularly like to highlight the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was simply delicious - the tender chicken breast in a wonderfully creamy, slightly spicy sauce sent my taste buds on an exciting journey. The perfect balance of spices and the quality of the ingredients were simply incomparable. The service at Kamasutra is also top notch. The staff is not only friendly and accommodating, but also extremely competent when it comes to making recommendations or explaining how the dishes are prepared. Here, as a guest, you feel completely comfortable and in good hands. All in all, Kamasutra is a real gem and a clear recommendation for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. We were guests at Kamasutra last night and man, now all other Indian restaurants have been ruined for me. The food was absolutely delicious, the butter chicken even tasted great when reheated the next morning! The mocktails were delicious, the ambience was great, the service was fantastic. I'm a fan of honoring good food and good service and I'm very happy that the (albeit high prices) here are completely justified. Definitely a very valuable restaurant!

Kamasutra is an absolute gem! The samosas were nothing short of amazing—crispy on the outside and perfectly spiced on the inside. The chutney was out of this world, bursting with flavor and the perfect complement to the samosas. I also tried the dal, which the owner assured me was made in the proper Indian style, and it did not disappoint. It was rich, hearty, and exactly what I was craving. The raita was also delicious, balancing everything out with its cool and creamy texture. What really made the experience special was the owner. Not only was he incredibly sweet, but he also went the extra mile by giving us some extra pakoras, which were just too good. The whole meal reminded me of home, and I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and mouthwatering Indian food!

I travel a lot, and in every town I have visited for more than a few days, I will pay a visit to an Indian restaurant. Cause I like the taste of it, and so I've seen a lot. Most of the time, the food is good then, but the service and atmosphere I experience as marginal. Non of it here at this restaurant. Here at Kamasutra, everything is very okay. Good food, good price, you can pay by card (not always the case in Germany), nice interior and atmosphere and very friendly service. Every table is made in its own color and style, which leaves a cozy impression. We had a thali with meat and vegetables and enjoyed it very much. When visiting Köln, we will for sure, come around again.

My best friend has several allergies and the kitchen has catered for them, e.g. I always changed knives or boards as soon as there was something on them that my best friend couldn't tolerate. Hands down, our best dining experience in Cologne! Best cocktails! Best food! Best Service! We had Indian food on our list of meals we’d like to have while traveling to Germany. This was the highest rated Indian restaurant, and we soon found out why! Let’s start with the drinks. They have a selection of over 100 gins, and a very extensive drink menu. I had the Maharaja Mojito with gin, agave, lime, mint, and bitter lemon, and this was the best looking and tasting cocktail I had in the city. I also had the Romance at the Taj Mahal, which was also primo. Our server brought us out complimentary papadam with yogurt mint sauce. We ordered family-style the paneer tika masala, gosht ghassi, and the Murgh ki curry with raita and garlic nann. The food was fresh, authentic, and prepared with love. You could tell. Our service was incredibly attentive. They also make a great espresso! This place should be no less than five stars and needs to be on your list of must-haves when in Cologne.

Great and and very clean indian restaurant. I am a regular here and it is by far the best and also the oldest one in whole Cologne. Always very clean everywhere and the curries are very tasty. My recommendations are number 25,29 and the tikka massala. The personnel is lovely and they have a great gin selection too.

We went for an early dinner and the staff were fantastic. They even brought a special dessert at the end of our celebration. The food is fantastic and quite authentic upscale Indian food with lots of seafood. Finally they have an amazing wine selection. The price is not for the faint of heart, but otherwise, check it out!
