The first Indian where I personally enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was very loud, but I'll be happy to come back.

The food was delicious and there was a street food sample on the house!

We found out about this restaurant through recommendations and should definitely try the Butter Chicken. After eating many different versions, we can say: today was the best! The dish was perfectly seasoned and prepared. In short: I can highly recommend this restaurant and especially the Butter Chicken!

Feel cheated. We were late to the hotel by almost to the kitchen closing time and also we have told them that we have come a long way to taste the food. Inspite of it we were cheated. Ordered paneer tikka masala with Naan. They delivered Panneer butter masala with bland taste. A water bottle is 7€. !!!!!! Pre- prepared , refrigerated mango lassi was a bad decision that we shouldn’t have ordered.

The food was great, and the staff was really friendly. I met the owner, and he was super nice. The food was just like Indian food should be. This was my first time there, but I'll definitely be going back again and again whenever I'm in town.

The food is delicious, but the service is intrusive. We had just sat down when we were asked if we would like to order. Even though we first opened the map. Less than 5 minutes later, the next waiter comes and asks again... a little later, the first waiter is in front of us again, and we were obviously still deciding. We have been there many times because we like the food and the shop is nearby. However, the service often seemed a bit annoyed and inattentive. The ambience is nice. There is calm music playing and the rooms are well divided.

Very tasty Indian restaurant, BUT the prices are impressive. This is all about making money. Each slice of pampadam costs 2.20 euros and each dip costs an extra 1.50 each. Waiters also really want to talk you into an appetizer and naan bread to go with it. Doesn't feel good. Main courses start at 17.90, so definitely not a good price-performance ratio anymore... However, the main courses are very large, if the waiter allows it, sharing makes sense and then it's fine again.

The food was okay, but the smell in the basement near the toilets was unacceptable and the service was not friendly, but rather pushy and unpleasant. Too bad!

Impossible service – never again! Order placed at 12:08 p.m., according to Wolt the food should be delivered no later than 1:08 p.m. - 60 minutes was promised. After seven unsuccessful calls to the restaurant (no one answered!), I finally received a call at 2 p.m. that the food was here - by then I was already on my way to the restaurant to pick it up myself! Now I'm sitting here after being forced to pick up my own food. No apology, no understanding – nothing! Absolutely terrible service, definitely the last time. Just unprofessional! Never again!

Service and atmosphere are good. How've we ordered Onion Pakoda, and that was a huge disappointment they need to learn how to make Pakoda. We literally got raw flour and some burn onion pieces (you get two pieces each one huge like big potato and that not really Indian Pakoda)

Ok food - not asked spice preference or if food was to our liking when we ate it. Service hit and miss/ had to find waiter for drinks. We eat Indian food regularly all over the world so have a lot to compare with!

Food didn't taste well and is very overpriced. Portion sizes aren't decent as well. Even though the service is quick but still doesn't compensate with the overall experience. For Indian people it doesn't board well otherwise for others it'll be a good experience. Garlic naan didn't even taste as a garlic naan. Considering the order size huge there was still lesser portion of rice being served.

Had ordered Dal makhni and paneer chilli.Dal makhni comes with Rice which is good.Dal makhni was good but paneer chilli was okayish.Plain Lassi was bit thin but good in taste.

I don't prefer this restaurant! After ordering the most expensive items on the menu (house specialties), we were not served a salad and were suggested to pay extra for it - even though all main courses were supposed to be served with rice and salad. The naan was undercooked. The quality didn't match the price. There are better Indian restaurants in Cologne!

Authentic Indian cuisine and a Great ambience!

Employees prevent me from occupying a free parking space in front of the restaurant and block it so that an employee can park there.

I went to eat with two of my dear friends and the food was soooo delicious even when we asked for more spicy they were kind to provide what we wanted and also made sure we felt right at home. Loved them allllllll. I definitely recommend it. Here you compain good food and derive. The employers were Super friendly tooo.

As a couple, we were guests for dinner last night, the food was very tasty, and we were often asked by a waitress "whether we liked it?" Reasonably priced, the volume in the rooms could be a little lower, but we still recommend it

The food was very tasty! But I have to say the prices are quite steep in some cases, €7.90 for a 0.7l of water? That doesn't work at all! The waitresses are sometimes very friendly and sometimes annoyed. You immediately get a sauce and a bread and so on, which I didn't like. I wanted to order normal naan bread and was told straight away that it would be much better with butter or garlic, it just costs more... As I said, prices were way too expensive, service was okay, ambience was okay, food was very, very tasty

I've been waiting for my food for 2 hours. When I called there, the employee told me in a condescending manner to be patient, "coming soon." No apology, nothing. Now it's been 40 minutes since the phone call and still nothing. You can be sure that I will never order from you again and will not recommend you to anyone. The food has never been so outstanding that you have to be so patient for this kind of behavior towards customers who order more often. Treat your customers better and keep your promises!

Two different dishes, the same sauce. In addition, an old lunch menu is shown online with different prices (lower). Current prices for the lunch menu are around €2-3 higher per dish. Bottled water is more expensive than glass water. Payment, even though online card readers were available, was only possible in cash. I didn't like it.

The butter chicken was so-so. Food was delivered. The delivery person was extremely unfriendly and even insulted me after he was more than an hour late. Not recommended, for any price.

Do you feel like lukewarm, overpriced food brought to you by a very unhygienic supplier who has a slight grump and is quite unfriendly? Then you've come to the right place. The food looked like it had been stored in the fridge from last week. Food poisoning included. NEVER AGAIN

I have been recommended this restaurant several times, but unfortunately my visit was a complete disappointment. The service was really bad - our waiter seemed annoyed and unfriendly with every question. The food was mediocre at best, especially the butter chicken, which I've had much better in many other restaurants. The seating is extremely narrow, so you hardly have any privacy. To make matters worse, when we wanted to have the food packed to take away, we were only given aluminum trays and had to pack the food ourselves. This was extremely inconvenient and laborious due to the limited space. All in all, not recommended.

I have a cashew allergy, and accordingly ordered something without cashews from their menu on Uber eats. When I received the order (30 minutes after their latest estimate), my allergy was triggered. The menu should be updated to reflect the ingredients in each dish

Fantastic food and nice service! My girlfriend and I recently visited this Indian restaurant while on vacation and absolutely loved it! We both ordered the butter chicken and fresh naan bread. The butter chicken was perfectly seasoned and deliciously creamy. The naan was wonderfully fluffy and crispy on the outside. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and the service was very friendly. If we are in Cologne again we will definitely come back. We can highly recommend this restaurant!

Hi I was there for lunch and also took samosa delivery for my train journey too . Food was good, but could be more delicious. People were nice who were serving. I will visit again to test more dishes and will review again. Till then cook well and serve well.

If you feel like waiting 2-3 hours for lukewarm food to be delivered, this is the right place for you. After all, it's more expensive than it should be. Disaster store with unfriendly employee on the phone “should have been there long ago” - “will be there in 2 minutes” and poor quality. Very authentic Indian restaurant. We loved the food. They were very sweet and served our kids free mango Lassi. Palak paneer and kadai planeer was just awesome. Just like in India.

But Germans did not drink Mango-Lasside because its prices were expensive compared to other drinks. They need to improve themselves in terms of price performance. Best Indian restaurant in town!

Seeing the reviews, my friends and I were excited to try this place out, but were sadly disappointed. After taking a couple of bites of the dal and paneer, we looked at each other and agreed that the food lacked taste. Plus the guy who took our order was kinda rude.

Food was fine but one of the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. When asked about the dishes we were told that it will be just enough for one person so they can have us order more in order to make more money. If you will ask them to make curry’s spicy they simply believe in putting raw green peppers into it rather than cooking properly.

Wir haben im Februar einen Kochkurs bei Ginti gebucht (im Wert von 100 € pro Person). Dieser fand in der Küche des Restaurants statt, wo wir mit insgesamt 4. Personen teilnahmen. Zum einen fiel uns auf, dass wir ziemlich störten, da währenddessen das Küchenpersonal versucht hatte, ihre Gerichte weiterhin vorzubereiten und wir praktisch ständig im Weg standen. Zu Beginn habe ich gefragt, ob wir die Rezepte für den Kochkurs im Nachgang erhalten, was uns zugesichert wurde (Was sicherlich Sinn eines so teuren Kochkurses ist, hier später die Rezepte auch nachkochen zu können) Nach 2 Wochen fragte ich zum ersten Mal nach den Rezepten. Der Geschäftsführer, der genau weiß, wie seine Geschäfte laufen, verwies auf den Kellner. Bei Nachfrage hieß es nur " ja kein Problem, wir schicken die Rezepte" - aber nichts. So ging es 3 Monate lang hin und her und das Verhalten wurde einfach nur lächerlich. Der Umgang mit Kunden ist unmöglich, nur dummes Gelaber - Hauptsache die Kasse klingelt. (Es ist natürlich lästig solch nervenden Kunden auch noch Rezepte für ihr Geld zukommen zu lassen - denkt der Geschäftsmann...) Wer das noch rechtzeitig liest: Ich empfehle hier klar keinen Kochkurs zu machen und das Geld lieber woanders zu lassen!!!

We booked a cooking class with Ginti in February (worth €100 per person). This took place in the kitchen of the restaurant, where we took part with a total of 4 people. On the one hand, we noticed that we were quite a nuisance, as the kitchen staff were trying to continue preparing their dishes and we were practically constantly in the way. At the beginning I asked whether we would receive the recipes for the cooking course afterwards, which we were assured of (which is certainly the point of such an expensive cooking course, to be able to cook the recipes here later). After 2 weeks I asked about them for the first time recipes. The manager, who knows exactly how his business is going, referred to the waiter. When I asked, they just said "no problem, we'll send the prescriptions" - but nothing. This went on and on for 3 months and the behavior just became ridiculous. Dealing with customers is impossible, just stupid talk and arrogant behavior - the main thing is that the cash register rings. (Of course it's annoying to send such annoying customers prescriptions for their money - thinks the stupidly grinning businessman...) If you read this in time: I clearly recommend not taking a cooking course here and rather leaving your money somewhere else!!!

Loved the chicken lollipop and papri chaat. Too good. Very nice friendly service. Good ambience. Very tasteful dishes and each with distinctive flavors. Would love to come back when I visit Köln again. Thank you.
