they were too slow to serve the food the waiter was not friendly to us, the food was not typical indian food, i've tasted much better, coz we were hungry we tried to enjoy the food, but unfortunately bad experience the menu is too expensive for this service and food i would never recommend this indian restaurant i would never come back to this restaurant the only positive thing is the atmosphere and the music

Authentic Indian restaurant Excellent food. Delicious and satisfying. The dish I chose is Tsikan Tikka Maslala comes with a bowl of rice. A rice biryani dish with vegetables and chicken breast is very tasty and refreshing (I think mint was added to the recipe). Very tasty samosa comes in 2 units. I recommend the waiter Bobby Very reasonable prices.

Great spot. Had the butter chicken, chicken korma, baingan bharta, lachha paratha and a garlic chili naan. Everything was very flavorful, and each dish was a good sized portion for the price. It was a welcome reprieve from all of the heavy German Christmas market food we’ve been surviving on for days!

Very good restaurant. The food was really so delicious! The employees are so nice and accommodating. I was so touched when the waiter put a rose in front of me and my girlfriend 🥹 Food served very nicely too. I asked if they could leave out the milk in a dish, then he asked if it should be vegan and if coconut milk was ok. When they brought the food, they also noted which sauce was vegan and which wasn't, without me having to ask. Really, I thought it was so great. The ambience is also perfect. I'm thrilled. Very big recommendation from me and I will definitely come back! ☺️

If you are craving Indian food, come here!! First of all, it's not near the hectic Central Station, but near Willybrand Platz, so the atmosphere is calm and nice. I ordered chicken korma (mild), lamb biryani, and mango lassi, and all three were very delicious!!! Be generous with the rice you eat with the curry, and the biryani tastes like kimchi fried rice with just the right amount of delicious spices?! The staff are also friendly and check occasionally to see if the food is delicious.

Google said this was open till 11 pm when we walked in they said it closed at 10 pm. Frustrating when you taxi to the place. Someone there needs make sure that Google was accurate.

Absolutely amazing, as a woman who suffers with anxiety I didn’t have much hope as most places are really busy, not this place tho this place was really relaxing, all the staff were really friendly and welcoming too! The food portions are perfect, the food is amazing quality and probably the best food I have had in my 2 week stay in Frankfurt. To top off our stay the lovely man didn’t get his name sorry gave us a free drink to try as it was an Indian drink and we had a joke because we was English. 😂 This place offers a range of food, for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters which is amazing to have the variety of options available! I had the butter chicken and my friend had tikka masala and it was honestly perfect, making it suitable for everyone is honestly amazing ❤️ Honestly this is a home from home environment, the staff have good banter, the food is bloody amazing and I will definitly come back to Germany just to go to Indian curry castle. Delivered without nan bread that was ordered, so very disappointed.

There are no minus points! Otherwise these restaurants will also get MINUS! As an Indian I can say it is one of the worst experiences of mine! You just pay extra money but you don't get any delicious FOOD! There was only color in chili chicken! believe me ! My heart just says! They just took money for nothing! Not good food I wanted to say warmly! Work on your taste!

I have order 2chicken biriyani today. They mix rice with Chicken curry and sent to me. They think customers are too fool to find difference between rice curry mix and biriyani. Taste is too worse. No salt no spspices only rice chicken and Turmeric mix. Don’t waste you money here.

It was located just behind our Hotel Motel One. We had a nice white with Onion Bhaji. In the main course we had Saag Paneer, Mixed Vegetables with Tandoor Rotis. The food, decor and service was very good. Be careful about their billing while ordering alcoholic drinks.

It was the best food I have tested in Europe in Schengen region. It was best food in terms of taste ambience and in terms of price also. Whenever you are in Frankfurt and want to try Indian food. Just visit this place. Mr Bobby is good host and he is gracious to serve the extra rice (if needed) whole heartedly with love.☺️

Unfortunately very disappointing. On the one hand, the quantities of food were extremely small when compared to other Indian restaurants. And unfortunately the food didn't score points with its taste either. Both curries are very sweet. The 'bread' and rice were okayish. Lassi was also pleasant. But that was all the positive things about the meal.

We ate double than we wanted to...I am fond of coconut and their peshawari naan is out of the world.We ordered Chilly garlic naan,aloo paratha, peshawari naan,Lamm vindaloo and chicken tikka masala and freah lime soda.Everything was super tasty.will surely visit again and if you can't see the roadside Infront of your eyes,you won't miss India.The ambience is purely Indian.Lovedevery bit of it...and also the staffs are very kind and friendly.

Essen hat gut geschmeckt außer eine Beilagen soße die nicht unseren Geschmack getroffen hat. Service war top(zuvorkommend und freundlich). Ambiente der Essbereich war in Ordnung eingerichtet die Musik war manchmal etwas laut aber sonst traditionell. Leider sind die WCs keine Augenweide.

Tried this restaurant as it was rather late and near to our hotel. Service was friendly and helpful. We had some pappadoms followed by a selection of mains- vegetable biryani, lamb karahi, chicken karahi ,Bombay aloo and pilau rice accompanied with a bottle of Silvaner Cabernet and few glasses of Silvaner trocken. All food served were good and portion size were adequate.

I really enjoyed this place. Staff super friendly, had a nice little cozy corner table. We ordered 5 dishes, all of which were quite tasty. One in particular I wanted to lick the bowl.(I’m so sorry I can’t remember which one it was :/) this was our last meal after a two week trip in Europe leaving out of Frankfurt. I’m glad we came across this place. It was a block away from our hotel (Steigenberger)

Food was tasty but service is slow. Moreover, there are always complimentary papad, achaar, raita in Indian restaurants which were not served.

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant mit authentischem indischen Ambiente und sehr leckeren Gerichten. Der Service ist freundlich und nett, der Innenraum ist sauber sowie schön und passend gestaltet. Es kann nur zur längeren Wartezeit kommen, wenn man direkt zur Öffnung kommt. Aber das hatte keinen negativen Einfluss auf unseren Besuch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr fein gewürzte Speisen; die bestellten Paneer pakoras haben aber sehr nach Fertigware ausgesehen. dafür war der Service sehr aufmerksam, die Preise durchaus angemessen. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Hähnchen in dem bestellten chicken Tikka Marsala hat nicht mehr gut geschmeckt. Ich glaube es lag schon einige Tage und war nicht frisch.

Dieses Indische Restaurant ist wirklich super! Ich habe Chicken Tikka Masala zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Ich habe 10 minuten auf mein Essen warten müssen aber wurde freundlich empfangen und habe Mango laisse bekommen, welcher gut schmeckte, um die Zeit angenehm zu gestalten.

Das Essen hat super geschmeckt und das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis war auch sehr fair. Komm ich gerne wieder

Absolutely delicious Indian food. We had the garlic naan with chana masala and saag paneer. Served with rice. I got the nimbu pani to drink. Everything was very good. If I were in town longer I’d eat my way through the menu.

Yum! Go here regularly - lunch and dinner - and always happy ! I usually have a chicken dish, often the tandoori - it's always good. My friends usually have the spinach as a vegetarian dish, never disappointed. Very versatile cook, can do attitude. If you need a vegan variety - you get it, no problem. What MIGHT be missing: Ginger beer:)

Very good, authentic Indian cuisine. Friendly staff, spoke English. Very large menu. Variety of items for all dietary needs. Recommend the Murgh Ananas meal, mango lassi drink. Decor was beautifully decorated with Hindu references.

After two days again we went for dinner. This time we ordered Red Label whiskey. I was surprised when I was asked whether we want 2 cl or 4 cl ? I ordered 4 cl which is normal measure in all the restaurants. I did not pay much attention when the bill came and paid promptly. When I checked the bill after my trip to Frankfurt, I was shocked to find that I was charged 15 Euros for 4 cl drink. On that day before coming here, we had two Red Label drinks of 4 cl at Lounge One, my hotel bar and paid 16 Euros. A day before I had dinner at another Indian restaurant Delhi Tandoor where Black Label 4 cl was costing 6.50 Euro (see it in picture). I'll be happy if the owners of Indian Curry Castle can reply me regarding over charging after reading this review.

Lovely food, decently priced with curteous and efficient service. The menu is typical for a Indian joint but beware of the spiceness of both Chicken Tikka Masala and Aloo Gobi - they are actually hot/spicy.

I was in Frankfurt am Main and I look about one different place.This restaurant was great.The staff bring us all we want.Very good food!!!

As it turned out Germans think salt and pepper is about as spicey as it gets the vindaloo i ordered was about Half as spicey as mango chutney. After i told them this was very disappointing i got the real deal, not the german version. Still mild in comparison but great taste, the lamb had great texture, and i got some lovely Tandoori chicken as a taster. So excellent service, great food and really nice mango lassy 😁

I have been to the Indian Curry Castle many times -- I am a frequent visitor to Frankfurt, and for many years have made it a practice to eat there on every trip. The food is delicious -- spicy but not too spicy -- and the restaurant staff is very willing to accommodate special requests and to prepare dishes that might not be on the menu. The Indian decor is charming and low-key. I am greeted like a friend, which I appreciate. Prices are extremely reasonable. This is my favorite Indian restaurant (and I live in New York City)!
