Very tasty Indian food at fair prices. The Cheese Naan was a discovery. The service was very friendly and accommodating. If we are in the area we would love to come back!

Authentic, delicious, a very friendly owner and I always feel very welcome. individual requests possible at any time. The Indian beer is super tasty and the wine selection is also impressive. All in all perfect.

We were already regular guests of the Lanternchen's previous owners and were always very satisfied there. Now we tried the successors and were bitterly disappointed. The food was still okay, but not comparable to before. But the service was actually almost non-existent. So there was no place where you would like to stay a little longer after eating for dessert or coffee.

We ate very well, everything was delicious, the service was very accommodating and we can recommend it! Quality of the food was very good!

Surprise to find a good desi Restaurant in Frankfurt

The butter chicken was so watery. Even though I ordered garlic naan, I got normal naan. The jalfrezi wasn't spicy at all, even though I added spiciness level 2. In the Butter Chicken I wanted extra chicken and I paid extra and there was no extra chicken in it. The butter chicken was terrible, neither had the right taste nor the right consistency. Pure disappointment!!!

Very authentic cuisine, sweet and cute ambience, very courteous service and the owner even personally comes to the table and welcomes the guests.

We ordered takeaway this evening and it was ready super quickly, since we are staying in the hotel they also had disposable wooden cutlery for us. The food was very tasty, well seasoned but not too spicy. The service staff was also very friendly

I host a dinner every month visiting a different Indian restaurant in Frankfurt and surroundings snd sometimes we have a repeat visit at the ones that really stand out! We all loved the food here whether it was veg or chicken and lamb entrees! Staff very attentive. Butter chicken was most popular and the desserts and samosa chaat also stood out! Our group of internationals will definitely come again

The food on site is really delicious. I ate here for the first time, usually only to take away, but it was also very good and filling. The ambience is simple and the service can still be improved. 5 stars for the food.

I ate there for the second time today. The dishes are well portioned, you'll feel full but won't feel overly full after your visit to the restaurant. I can recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, and the drinks such as the Indian lemonade, coconut naan or chai tea with milk are also tasty. Personally, the chicken chili was too sweet for me. All in all, a solid Indian restaurant with an extensive menu that you can visit with a clear conscience.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The butter chicken with garlic naan is a must-try. Highly recommend this place for a delicious Indian meal.

Really tasty and very nice atmosphere

I ate here for the first time today. I was warmly welcomed and the atmosphere was very relaxing and slowing down for me I ordered chicken with mango sauce and was able to experience a true combination of flavors! I was very happy to have found this restaurant (I'm not from Frankfurt) 5 out of 5 stars!

Great Indian food. Every dish had a distinct and delicious taste. The chicken pakora appetisers could have been a bit crispier And they could have brought condiments out with poppadoms. But other than that the food was very good.

Very tasty food, beautifully presented, the portion was just the right size. The service was pretty good. Unfortunately, sitting outside at Danziger Platz isn't that nice, but it's very comfortable inside.

I'm actually a big fan of Asian food. But the chicken breast meat I had was extremely hard and dry, so I could hardly swallow it after chewing it for a long time. When cooking at home, I've never managed to dry out the meat so much. Next time, if ever, I would order a vegetarian dish there. We had the impression that the service staff was not very motivated.

A wonderful little Indian restaurant, We were warmly greeted and served by the boss. The lunch menu was delicious and inexpensive, we chose the level of spiciness ourselves, everything was very tasty, the Lasi mango or coconut were like we were on vacation. The ambience has an Indian touch, the decoration and wall design are harmonious, the flowers were fresh on the table.

We ate here a few days ago. It was great to find Indian food that tasted Indian in a very authentic way. The only slightly odd thing was their palak paneer. Everywhere else it’s made from puréed spinach and chunks of paneer. It was the opposite here (paneer grated but spinach almost whole). Except for this tiny thing, the food, service and ambience was simply excellent

Very tasty food (you ask about the level of spiciness), great service, nice selection for vegetarians, food can also be taken away. Very nice atmosphere inside, outside you have to be a little tougher (subway, 24 hour kiosk). We sat outside and everything was relaxed and friendly :-)

Unfortunately there were some homeless people there or people who were drunk and smoking. Not a particularly nice or pleasant atmosphere if you sit outside.

Sehr leckeres Essen (Spinat Palak, Gemüse in Curry Sahne Sauce und Okraschotten), Portionen waren relativ klein, aber man wurde am Ende satt. Wir hatten noch typischen indischen Tee mit Kardamom. Der Kellner war sehr nett, höflich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank! 😊

Delicious indian food right outside the U-Bahn Ostbahnhof. The Butter Chicken is excellent and the homemade Butter Nan is soft and tasteful! The waiter is very kind and the meals are not expensive!

Wir haben zum ersten Mal das Restaurant besucht und werden wieder kommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionsgrößen waren gut. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Käse-Naan ist köstlich und auch alle anderen Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, da ist für jeden etwas dabei.

Die Atmosphäre, die Ambiete, die Musik und Bedingung passen einfach perfekt zu dem Namen des Restaurants. Es war einfach so schön! Und das Essen hat den ganzen noch eins drauf gesetzt, es war soooo lecker. Das Essen sehr gut gewürzt, das Hähnchen perfekt zubereitet und bitte probiert das Butternan!! Oh mein Gott, ich träume davon heute noch so lecker war es!! Ich möchte noch erwähnen, dass die Bedienung und Teilinhaber am Freitag so ein toller und gutherzig Mensch ist! Seine beruhigende Stimme war so angenehm!! Aber klar das wichtigste ist das Essen und da werdet ihr garantiert nicht enttäuscht!!

A wonderful indian restaurant with a new team. Service is very friendly and explains with passion. Food is very nice and served in bowls. Grate portions and very tasteful. Even if you are mot too hungry you get served nice daal soup with garlic naan. Sit inside or outside. We eat there evty moth cause we like the ambient friendlyness and grate taste. I would give six stars if possible.
