Service was unobtrusively attentive. The food, a Friesenteller (a Friesenburger), was really good. The ambiance on the terrace was Dutch-chic. The dining rooms were very interesting, with some historic flair. We'd gladly return.

Completely overpriced. I treated myself to a strawberry punch there for €8.50 and was very disappointed. There were five pieces of strawberry in the glass, which, taken together, amounted to a maximum of one. There were six pieces of ice in the punch, but ice has no place in a punch. The ice is used to fill the glass and save on expensive liquid. We weren't asked if everything was okay. A glance at the menu reveals that everything there is quite expensive. The price of the punch is justified, but what's served isn't!

Very interesting place. The summer terrace offers a wonderful view of the river. The service is good. The dishes are a bit expensive, but the portions are just huge! It was really tasty

Unfortunately, it's quite inflexible. It's not really clear that coffee time doesn't start until 2:30 p.m., and that it really doesn't start until 2:30 p.m. sharp. Cakes and tortes aren't available before then, or they don't want to sell them before then, which is a shame and inflexible, because the food is otherwise good.

We had lunch outside. A wonderful fish soup, with plenty of garnish and fresh vegetables. Very tasty. The service was very attentive and quick.

The outdoor terrace is idyllically situated on a ridge overlooking the market square. The tables and chairs are a bit close together, but there's plenty of room for more guests. The breaded schnitzel was truly enormous. For my taste, it could have been a bit smaller, with a few more Belgian fries. But no matter what, you'll definitely be very, very full.

With a reservation, we were able to enjoy our meal outside. The service was super friendly, and the food was delicious 😋

Alte, gemütliche Räumlichkeiten. Sehr zuvorkommende, freundliche Bedienung. Wir hatten Pannfisch. Fisch gut und lecker zubereitet, Bratkartoffeln und Gurkensalat waren ebenfalls lecker. Unser Hund hat auf nachfrage sofort Wasser erhalten. Hier kann man wirklich sehr gut essen!

The hotel is called "Little Amsterdam," and the "Holländische Stube" is the restaurant next door/inside the hotel. There are three small houses connected to each other in the typical Amsterdam style. Friedrichstadt, with its canal and houses, is truly reminiscent of Amsterdam. The hotel rooms are comfortably furnished, with a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of storage space under the sink. Our room had two small wardrobes, so everyone could organize their own things as they wished. The beds were very comfortable with two different pillows. There's a refrigerator in the stairwell with drinks at reasonable prices. You can also tap a fresh beer. Teas and a kettle are also available. The room has a coffee capsule machine. Breakfast was in the neighboring building and was very good, with a wide selection of rolls and bread. There was a very tasty fish platter, including fish other than salmon. The selection of cold cuts and cheeses was plentiful. There was also muesli, fruit, and fruit salad. There were also freshly prepared egg dishes. There was truly something for everyone. The friendly staff at the reception and in the breakfast area were particularly noteworthy. We would be happy to come back.

We wanted ice cream for the kid. And not sit at the market in the blazing sun. It was wonderful here with the roses and a view of the Treene River. They served ice cream and coffee. Always happy to come back, very friendly staff.

Really cozy restaurant in GL style. The food tasted great and the staff was very service-minded and did everything to ensure we had a good experience. We had our Shih Tzu dog with us, but that was no problem.

A very nice restaurant with a terrace right on the water. The food was excellent. Great fried potatoes (not everyone can handle them) and fresh fish. The sauerfleisch (sauerfleisch) was a real treat. Our waitress was very friendly and made our stay perfect. We were lucky to get there early; otherwise, I think it's best to make a reservation just in case. We'll be back!

We spontaneously stopped by on Whitsun Sunday with eight people and a dog. The friendliness with which we were served was fantastic. We practically had the first floor to ourselves. The ambience is truly fantastic. We all ordered something different, from tarte flambée to goat's cheese, Thai curry, bowls and fish, there was everything. What surprised us enormously was how quickly the food arrived for everyone. The presentation of the plates was fantastic and we all really enjoyed it. The price was also really great. The staff were very friendly and attentive but not pushy. It was definitely worth going there. We will be back and can recommend it to everyone.

Redfish fillet in panko flour, russet potatoes, and remoulade sauce, herring home-style with fried potatoes, absolutely recommendable!!! And the chicken noodles for the kids are also highly recommended, as they're homemade! Very, very tasty! We'll definitely be back. Just beware of the crows in the trees and better find a spot under the umbrellas, otherwise you'll probably end up with shit stains on your head and clothes 😅

Great cozy restaurant, great food and great staff... a little more expensive, but whatever... it's worth it

The location is beautiful, but the description of my dish was very misleading and the sauce ended up being completely different than described. The waitress then brought me the tube (!) of the used sauce to the table, which unfortunately spoiled my appetite even more.

Restaurant visit! We were lucky that only this restaurant was open on a Monday. The good reviews made us excitedly reserve a table for 2 adults and a child (almost 3 years old). Oh, a great evening! Next to the children's chair there was a small children's card printed out with a picture on the back to color in, with pens already ready and waiting for us. Of course, this made the children's eyes light up and the parents happy. Friendly, young, wonderfully bright service staff looked after us. Then came the food: how can you make such delicious schnitzel, which for the man is classic, for me it is modern and filled with cheese and wild garlic?! A dream!! The children's fries were garnished with fresh, super crispy nuggets, nothing like Mäcce's versions! So a clear recommendation for the restaurant! Keep it up!

We ate a Friesenburger, a canal burger and baked vanilla ice cream there. The food was delicious and even I was full. The waitresses are super nice and extremely committed. You sit outside, right on a canal, and can listen to the crows cawing and enjoy the beautiful ambience. Anyone who comes to Friedrichstadt should definitely stop by here.

We had dinner twice during our short trip to Friedrichstadt - our conclusion was that it was very tasty. Nice service, central location on a canal close to the market square.

We stopped in for Friday lunch and had a truly delicious meal. The service was very friendly, and the staff were also incredibly kind to our child. The tarte flambée and tomato soup were the best. We sat very comfortably in a cozy corner upstairs with a window. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We vacationed at the attached hotel over New Year's Eve. We ate here a few times (7), and each time it was very good. Praise to the kitchen. No long waiting times from ordering to serving. 1 hour waiting time after ordering. For all dishes, fried potatoes were lukewarm, fries were oversalted, pepper sauce without pepper and only brought when asked. For the schnitzel with fried egg, forget the egg. The excuse was that there was a large party in the house and they wanted to remove a dish from the bill, but didn't. Servers tried very hard but friendly. An evening with experience...

After forty years we celebrated our wedding anniversary again in the Dutch Room. We (eight people) really enjoyed it, right from the time we made the reservation, the nice service was courteous, the food was delicious and fresh, we can only recommend the restaurant and the dishes.

The food is delicate and excellent, the portions generous. The price is definitely reasonable. The atmosphere is solid between good middle class and contemporary modern and very cozy. Locals as well as foreign guests can be found here. It was a pleasure to have been here.

We were just in the restaurant. The service was very good and so was the food.

Rather simple from the outside, the ambience of the rear dining room opened our hearts. It was coffee time and we ordered fresh waffles - my wife with hot cherries and I with hot cinnamon plums. The ladies in service were all very friendly and extremely committed. The consistency and taste of the waffles created a pleasant feeling and the fruit served with them rounded off the experience. We would love to come back. A word to the service: We hope your boss appreciates each and every one of you.

“Many thanks” to the incredibly loud group of 8 people who sat with us on the ground floor in the room behind the cloakroom this evening. Because of them, we barely understood our own words and felt like we were at the fair. We now know, among other things, how she felt during her pregnancy and what her trips to Hamburg were like. How can you behave so rudely in a restaurant? Education is a matter of luck... There was another group of 8 people in the room, so there were only 2 individual tables left (tip: always reserve!). The space probably doesn't allow for it, but it might be worth considering accommodating larger groups separately so that other guests, e.g. B. cannot manage the stairs to the upper floor, but can eat and talk in peace. We found the noise very annoying and will definitely not eat here again on a weekend. The dishes are home-style, tasty and more than generously portioned. Despite the 16 people who got their food at the same time before us, we were served relatively quickly and friendly. Unfortunately, access to the restaurant is a bit difficult with a walker, as there is no disabled-accessible entrance and exit and the two entrance doors are so narrow that my mother had to fold up her wheelchair to push him through. Everything on the ground floor is a bit cramped and cluttered, the back room with the huge fireplace, lots of wood and Frisian tiles is quite rustic and cozy. Normally ...

Very long waiting time with unfriendly service. Wait 1.5 hours until you get the food. The food was really tasty and filled you up well.

Great food - very tasty The plaice was fried to perfection - again and again. The steak was on point, the pike perch was very tasty, the pan fish plate was very varied and of course very good.

Many thanks to a great service team, attentive, hard-working and always very friendly, they have it under control. The food was very, very tasty, well and honestly prepared and the portion was absolutely appropriate. All in all a very, very good restaurant that was once again fun to be pampered there.

Rarely have I had such a discussion with a waitress. We were seated at a table around 5 p.m. No reservation sign. We also wanted something to eat. At around 5:30 p.m. there was a discussion with the waitress about the table for dinner. Apparently the table was reserved. A discussion began in an unfriendly tone. Then the table was free again, but with the statement that something had now been changed. Unfriendliness remained, so we decided not to eat. You probably don't need it. Absolutely no recommendation. You definitely won't see us again. There are other places in town too

Were just visiting the Dutch Stube, the service was very good. The food was super good. The vegetarian burger was very delicious, I was thrilled, and when I asked I was given mayo to go with my fried potatoes. Now my partner would like to comment on her burger: I had the Friesenburger. Until recently I thought I had eaten the best burger of my life. However, you sent this restaurant to second place. All the individual components were super tasty, but everything together was simply outstanding. I just have a little tip. Fry the pattie a little more medium as it was slightly dry in some places. This can happen quickly, especially with Galloway. Then simply give the guest a little additional information that it can only be served medium to get the best taste. Guess your burger will be hard to beat then. All in all, your restaurant is our new favorite restaurant. Thanks for that.😊
