Holländische Stube in Friedrichstadt

Stopped in on Friday lunchtime and had a really delicious meal. The service was very friendly and the staff was also super nice to our child. The tarte flambée and tomato soup were the best. We sat very comfortably in a cozy corner up the stairs with a window. We can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

We vacationed at the attached hotel over New Year's Eve. We ate here a few times (7), and each time it was very good. Praise to the kitchen. No long waiting times from ordering to serving. The service is excellent, very attentive, always asking if everything is ok. That's exactly how service works. Very nice restaurant, comfortably furnished with charm. We'll be back.

1 hour waiting time after ordering. For all dishes, fried potatoes were lukewarm, fries were oversalted, pepper sauce without pepper and only brought when asked. For the schnitzel with fried egg, forget the egg. The excuse was that there was a large party in the house and they wanted to remove a dish from the bill, but didn't. Servers tried very hard but friendly. An evening with experience...

After forty years we celebrated our wedding anniversary again in the Holländische Stube. We (eight people) really enjoyed it, right from the time we made the reservation, the nice service was courteous, the food was delicious and fresh, we can only recommend the restaurant and the dishes.

We visited the restaurant. The service is extremely friendly and very experienced, classic restaurant service that you can hardly find anymore. The food is delicate and excellent, the portions generous. The price is absolutely reasonable. The atmosphere is solid between good middle-class and contemporary, modern and very cozy. Locals as well as foreign guests can be found here. It was a pleasure to have been here.

We had such a fantastic meal and excellent service. The prices are top. It doesn't get any better.

Rather simple from the outside, the ambience of the rear dining room opened our hearts. It was coffee time and we ordered fresh waffles - my wife with hot cherries and I with hot cinnamon plums. The ladies in service were all very friendly and extremely committed. The consistency and taste of the waffles created a pleasant feeling and the fruit served with them rounded off the experience. We would love to come back. A word to the service: We hope your boss appreciates each and every one of you.

We spent 2 evenings in the Holländische Stuben in Friedrichstadt and were very satisfied. The food, selection and ambience are very good. Our dog was also very welcome. The dishes are very fresh, the portions are completely sufficient and really very tasty. Thank you for the lovely evenings.

Das Essen stand sehr schnell auf dem Tisch! Kuriose Terminvorgabe zum Essen, trotz kaum Auslastung. Vielleicht ist es den fehlenden Mitarbeitenden zu zurechnen? Schmackhaft, aber es bleibt der Verdacht, dass hier mit Convenience Food gearbeitet wird.

“Many thanks” to the incredibly loud group of 8 people who sat with us on the ground floor in the room behind the cloakroom this evening. Because of them, we barely understood our own words and felt like we were at the fair. We now know, among other things, how she felt during her pregnancy and what her trips to Hamburg were like. How can you behave so rudely in a restaurant? Education is a matter of luck... There was another group of 8 people in the room, so there were only 2 individual tables left (tip: always reserve!). The space probably doesn't allow for it, but it might be worth considering accommodating larger groups separately so that other guests, e.g. B. cannot manage the stairs to the upper floor, but can eat and talk in peace. We found the noise very annoying and will definitely not eat here again on a weekend. The dishes are home-style, tasty and more than generously portioned. Despite the 16 people who got their food at the same time before us, we were served relatively quickly and friendly. Unfortunately, access to the restaurant is a bit difficult with a walker, as there is no disabled-accessible entrance and exit and the two entrance doors are so narrow that my mother had to fold up her wheelchair to push him through. Everything on the ground floor is a bit cramped and cluttered, the back room with the huge fireplace, lots of wood and Frisian tiles is quite rustic and cozy. Normally ...

Wir haben hier ausnehmend gut gegessen. Die Qualität war hervorragend, die Portionen überdurchschnittlich gross und der Service war sehr freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Und das alles bei einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Restaurant ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Food was great! The staff was very friendly - but the closed kitchen between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. was annoying. We sat outside on the terrace in the best weather. Very nice atmosphere. Reservation recommended!

Many thanks to a great service team, attentive, hard-working and always very friendly, they have it under control. The food was very, very tasty, well and honestly prepared and the portion was absolutely appropriate. All in all a very, very good restaurant that was once again fun to be pampered there.

Nice terrace right on the canal. Food was good and plentiful, but in my opinion a bit overpriced, probably due to the location. Service friendly. If you want to have a nice spot at lunchtime, you should get there early.

Rarely have I had such a discussion with a waitress. We were seated at a table around 5 p.m. No reservation sign. We also wanted something to eat. At around 5:30 p.m. there was a discussion with the waitress about the table for dinner. Apparently the table was reserved. A discussion began in an unfriendly tone. Then the table was free again, but with the statement that something had now been changed. Unfriendliness remained, so we decided not to eat. You probably don't need it. Absolutely no recommendation. You definitely won't see us again. There are other places in town too

Went here to eat, right on the Mittelburgwall, beautiful inside and outside area, invites you to linger, staff very nice, just stop by and have a cold drink or some delicious food, we can safely go on Recommend, we will definitely come back. The place is also very beautiful and worth a walk.

Were just visiting the Dutch Stube, the service was very good. The food was super good. The vegetarian burger was very delicious, I was thrilled, and when I asked I was given mayo to go with my fried potatoes. Now my partner would like to comment on her burger: I had the Friesenburger. Until recently I thought I had eaten the best burger of my life. However, you sent this restaurant to second place. All the individual components were super tasty, but everything together was simply outstanding. I just have a little tip. Fry the pattie a little more medium as it was slightly dry in some places. This can happen quickly, especially with Galloway. Then simply give the guest a little additional information that it can only be served medium to get the best taste. Guess your burger will be hard to beat then. All in all, your restaurant is our new favorite restaurant. Thanks for that.😊

Wir waren an einem Montag in Friedrichstadt und überall sonst war Ruhetag, was sich jedoch als Glücksfall erwies. Eine Empfehlung! Angenehmes Ambiente an der Gracht, freundliches Personal , regionale Küche, das schmackhafte Essen kommt heiß auf den Tisch, was leider sonst nicht selbstverständlich ist. Der Rösti Burger mit Süßkartoffeln hat mich überzeugt. Mein Mann war vom Pannfisch angetan. Gerne wieder.

Glücklicherweise bruacht man hier nich bar zu bezahlen, es geht auch mit EC card und brauch man nicht so wie so oft in Deutschland, zuerst zur Bank für cash. ? Het binnen restaurant is niet zo groot, maar wel op maandag open. Buiten is een mooi terras aan het water. Het eten is goed en schnitzels als deurmatten.

Bei einer "Holländische Stube" erwarte ich Holländische Gerichte. Nur Pommes reicht da nicht. Sauerfleisch, Burger und Flammkuchen findet man kaum in einer typisch Niederländische Karte. Der Flammkuchen hat geschmeckt aber Preislich alles sehr hoch. Eine Portion Pommes für 10 € ist sportlich

Incredibly good food. Unfortunately, it's also incredibly expensive. Burger with Dutch fries about 22 euros, that hurts. But it was very worth it. That was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life :-)

We have recently moved to North Frisia and have now eaten at the Holländische Stube twice. Once in a larger group with visitors and once for Christmas brunch. We weren't disappointed both times. The schnitzel with chanterelles that I ate in September was, without a lie, the best thing I've had so far (and there were a few). My husband, who had chanterelles with scrambled eggs, was also really excited when he tasted my schnitzel. He was even more thrilled when I couldn't finish the schnitzel and he got the rest. 😅 We were really excited about the Christmas brunch too! Never experienced such a good buffet: There was breakfast... with everything your heart desired... Then came the warm buffet with salt-crusted salmon, goose, game and so on. It was installed to a high standard. The dessert buffet with crème brulée, ice cream rolls with hot raspberries and a variety of winter desserts... the selection was great! The service was totally behind so that everything was always well stocked. Top! 😊 We'll definitely come regularly now. Ps: Pictures from the Christmas brunch.

Das Positive vorweg: Der Service ist freundlich, der Abholservice pünktlich und verlässlich. Aber wer selber einigermaßen gut und mit Freude kocht, der wird ziemlich enttäuscht sein, auch wenn die Portionen reichlich bemessen sind.

Es war sehr voll, weshalb wir lange aufs Essen warten mussten. Das wurde uns aber zu Beginn mitgeteilt. Die Qualität und Preis-Leistunf war gut. Wir werden wiederkommen. 😊

Richtig gutes Essen zum Sattwerden. Leckeres Schnitzel, saftige Ente mit Rotkohl. Schmackhafter panierter Rotbarsch. Hier hat jemand richtig Lust zum Kochen. Freundliche Bedienung.

Wir waren dort Lecker essen und hatten ein kleine Nische für uns alleine. Sehr nette höfliche Bedienung. Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr gute Küche und äußerst angenehmes Personal - dazu auch in den ruhigeren Monaten immer offen. Wer nach Friedrichstadt fährt, sollte hier einmal gegessen haben. Meine Empfehlung: Pann Fisch.

Ein sehr schönes altes Haus. Der Service war super. Wir wurden oft nach unserem Wohlbefinden gefragt und haben nach einem kleinen Patzer in der Küche sofort eine Entschädigung aufs Haus bekommen. Das Essen war richtig gut! Lecker, saisonal, schön angerichtet und reichlich.

Wir waren schon öfters hier, über einen langen Zeitraum. Die Qualität ist immer auf einem hohen Niveau. Das Management des Hauses erkennt man bei jedem Mitarbeiter:innen wieder. Erstens wechselt das Stammpersonal fast gar nicht. Und der Service-Level ist gleichbleibend hoch. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, mit interessanten, unterschiedlich ausgestatteten Räumen. Küche ist gehobenes Niveau. Und wir sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Immer wieder gern.
