Geschmacklich wirklich Top. Ich liebe auch den Beilagensalat, der üppig ausfällt. Allerdings war ich von der "größe" des großen Salatteller mit Schnitzel mehr als enttäuscht für den Preis. Minimal größer als der Beilagensalat. Sehr schade.

Schöne Außenterrasse mit Ausblick. Das Essen war ganz gut, aber ich hatte mir doch mehr erwartet. Der Service war trotz vieler Gäste schnell.

Idyllisch gelegenes Ausflugslokal.

Gestern Mittag war ich mit vier Gästen aus den USA in Ihrem Restaurant. Außer unserem Tisch und einem weiteren Gast war aufgrund der großen Hitze kaum jemand auf der Terrasse. Ich fragte am Empfang, ob wir freie Platzwahl hätten. Die Dame sagte ja, mit Ausnahme des großen Tisches mit dem Reserviert-Schild. Im hinteren Bereich war es angenehm schattig, allerdings standen dort keine fünf Stühle. Deshalb nahmen wir einen anderen Tisch. Als wir fragten, ob wir einen Tisch für fünf Personen im Schatten bekommen könnten, bekamen wir zur Antwort, sie habe nicht bemerkt, dass wir fünf Personen seien, und wir hätten vorher fragen sollen. Ehrlich gesagt fand ich diese Bemerkung unpassend. Die Terrasse war fast leer, und man konnte leicht erkennen oder einfach nachzählen, dass wir fünf Personen waren. Die Servicekraft wusste, dass meine Gäste nur Englisch sprechen, da sie ihnen zuvor englische Speisekarten gebracht hatte. Obwohl sie gut Englisch sprach, wollte sie die Bestellung nicht direkt mit meinen Gästen aufnehmen. Außerdem sprach sie sehr schnell und vermittelte den Eindruck, genervt und gestresst zu sein obwohl das Restaurant zu diesem Zeitpunkt fast leer war. Bei der Bestellung gab es ebenfalls ein Missverständnis. Wir bestellten zwei Hamburger mit Pommes und zusätzlich einen Salat. Statt nachzufragen, wurden die Pommes einfach weggelassen und der Salat als Beilage verstanden. Insgesamt war der Service leider nicht dem Niveau entsprechend, das man bei den Preisen Ihres Restaurants erwarten darf. Das Essen war gut, aber der Service war enttäuschend und hat den Gesamteindruck leider deutlich getrübt.

Gute Gastronomie geht doch ! Wir waren am Pfingstmontag zum Mittag dort. Reservierung per Mail 3 Tage vorher, SMS Erinnerung, super Platz auf der schönen Terrasse, perfekt. Das Essen für 6 Personen kam zügig, war schmackhaft, preislich angemessen. Ausreichendes Servicepersonal, freundlich und hat Hand in Hand gearbeitet. Fazit: Empfehlenswert

Große Auswahl an Wildgerichten.

Das Restaurant ist Schön gelegen im Wald oberhalb vom Hirschpark. Wir hatten Glück ohne Reservierung einen Platz zu bekommen. Wir hatten nur Kaffee und Kuchen bestellt und wollten die Aussicht auf den Hirschpark genießen. Über die Hauptgerichte kann ich nichts sagen wäre ein Grund noch mal vorbei zu kommen. Reservierung wäre zu empfehlen, ansonsten muss man mit Wartezeit rechnen. Von hier aus kann man einen schönen Spaziergang durch den Wald 🌳 unternehmen. Parkplätze sind unten an der Straße genügend vorhanden.

Wir haben die Kommunion unseres Sohnes mit 70 Gästen im Restaurant Hirschgarten gefeiert und es war einfach rundum perfekt. Von Anfang an haben uns die Eheleute Barić mit ihrer herzlichen Art ein gutes Gefühl gegeben. Man hat gemerkt mit wie viel Sorgfalt, Aufmerksamkeit und Hingabe hier gearbeitet wird. Die gesamte Feier war hervorragend organisiert und wir konnten den Tag vollkommen entspannt genießen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – alle unsere Gäste waren begeistert und haben das leckere Essen gelobt. Auch der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Besonders schön war die Atmosphäre: Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und von der Terrasse aus konnten wir sogar die Hirsche beobachten – das hat der Feier etwas ganz Besonderes verliehen. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Eheleute Barić und das gesamte Team für diesen unvergesslichen Tag. Wir können das Restaurant von Herzen weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort feiern!

Wir waren eigentlich immer gerne hier zu Gast, auch wenn das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis schon immer eher sportlich war. Man akzeptiert höhere Preise gerne, wenn das Gesamtpaket stimmt, aber leider hat uns der heutige Besuch sehr enttäuscht. Der Service war in der Vergangenheit bereits wechselhaft, doch heute fehlte es leider komplett an Gastfreundlichkeit. Wenn man sich als Gast nicht mehr willkommen fühlt, verliert auch das gute Essen seinen Wert. Für uns war dies vorerst der letzte Besuch.

Der Chef war nicht sehr freundlich. Das Personal dafür umso mehr. Der bestellte Kaiserschmarn für 2 Personen war aus der Tüte und eine Mini Portion für 15,90 €. Als ich fragte welche Creme in der Prinzregent Torte sei sagte der Chef, das wisse er nicht, er meine 7 verschiedene Cremesorten tatsächlich waren es 2 verschiedene. Der Kuchen kommt von Café Eidinger. Die wissen besser was in dem Kuchen ist meinte er. Unglaublich!

Der Wirt ist sehr unfreundlich. Seine Angestellten sind sehr freundlich. Kuchen und Kaffee sind leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Ein Waldgasthaus mitten im Wald – eigentlich ideal nach einem Hundespaziergang. Leider haben wir mehrfach schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Als Hundebesitzer wurden wir im Sommer bereits sehr unfreundlich empfangen (inkl. rollender Augen), um auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und im Winter sogar komplett abgewiesen, da unser Hund nach dem Waldspaziergang nicht „frisch gebadet“ war. (Obwohl wir eine große Unterlage für den Hund dabei hatten). Unser Eindruck: sehr hundeunfreundlich. Schade, denn die Lage wäre eigentlich perfekt. Zum Glück gibt es andere Gasthäuser, in denen Hunde willkommen sind.

The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere; the road there is quite an adventure, especially when a city bus is coming the other way. But courage is rewarded – the food is delicious, and the Hirschgarten is definitely worth a visit. The value for money is excellent. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Called 5 times for three days. And showing ok google map there is free table. Yes tables are free and we just can’t sit. Drive 40 for nothing. Gave me a name card told me I got the wrong number. - it’s the same number on Google. Dear manager, could you sport out your own things first before waste my time?

A restaurant nestled in the woods, serving game specialties. Delicious. After a walk past the deer, we stopped back at the restaurant for coffee and cake.

The Hirschgarten restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting, in the woods. The food was excellent. Everything was game; we had a game platter with a selection of dishes. The service was professional and friendly. Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended.

The ambiance is anything but modern, but that's precisely what gives the restaurant its special charm. Superb cuisine, good value for money, and exceptionally friendly, attentive, and absolutely customer- and guest-oriented service. It was our second visit, but certainly not our last. We love eating here. In addition to the very friendly service, the food is especially good. We usually go for the game platter. But many other dishes, including the vegetarian ones, are also very tasty and flavorful. In summer, we like to sit on the terrace with a wonderful view of the Hirschgarten, but the interior and the left room for private events are also cozy. Today, September 18, 2025, my husband and I ate at this restaurant we've known for ages around 5:30 p.m. I ate fresh trout. On the way home, I had a severe headache, and then a stomachache. I ended up throwing up, but afterward, I felt better. These symptoms sound like fish poisoning. The trout must have been a little undercooked.

No...I don't see the point of running after oil for the starter because the salad was dry (without dressing). I don't see the point of running after sauce, eating frozen rosti, and the sauce is ready-made, everything is oversalted... For 250g of raw venison, a few peppercorns (oversalted), and sauce from a packet? Paying as if I were in a Michelin-starred restaurant? €39.90 ???? Nobody noticed us when we arrived... Unfortunately, a real sadness, that Hirschgarten isn't even what it used to be!! ((((Although, it's easy to make your own sauce, and rosti anyway...instead of frozen... I have to say one thing...dessert was good! But that's the only thing that fascinated me. But you go there to eat game...right? Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it...A lot of money for nothing!

A festival for game lovers! The game platter was an absolute highlight: the game bratwurst was wonderfully spicy with a pleasant smoky note, the roast venison was tender and cooked to perfection - a real treat! Particularly noteworthy is the goulash, which impressed with its intense, aromatic taste and tender braised meat. Everything was excellently seasoned and lovingly prepared. A culinary experience not to be missed - highly recommended for anyone who loves game dishes!

We celebrated our wedding in the Hirschgarten in September. Thank you very much for the great organization! The food was sensational and the service was absolutely great. We were able to devote ourselves fully to our guests and celebrate a great day - the Hirschgarten team took care of everything else. Thank you!!!

All in all, it's just perfect, and you're happy to pay for it. About 50 euros for a portion including a drink, value for money is not given.

I highly recommend this place for your parties/reception. The table set up, food arrangement for buffet and service are perfect. There is a deer garden in view, you can dine while watching the deers run around.

The kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m., which is enforced at 8:31 p.m. and you don't get anything to eat anymore. The location closes at 9:30 p.m. 10 minutes beforehand you are asked to finish your drink and when you ask that it is open until 9:30 p.m. you get a contemptuous laugh with a look at the clock. If you don't tip, you don't get a thank you. Thank God I was still allowed to use the toilet, even though it was already a minute before the restaurant closed. Conclusion: Nice location but unfortunately service is out of the question and a sign that no effort needs to be made to welcome guests. I would have liked to judge the food, but unfortunately I didn't get anything.

A beautiful place in the middle of the forest with an adjacent game reserve. We really enjoyed the food and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately there is no mobile phone service here and the restaurant does not have guest Wi-Fi. We didn't discover a playground, but there is a game reserve.

We sat on the terrace in the sun in October. The location is really very nice. The wine selection was not huge but well sorted. There was a menu with seasonal food, which in autumn meant savoy cabbage, pumpkin and game. We had a pumpkin lasagne and a deer medallion. Both were really great. Children's chair is available. The service was very friendly.

We celebrated a birthday in the “Keller”. Renting is easy, a buffet including drinks was offered for a flat rate. 3 operations were included. The celebration lasted until 2:30 a.m. There was nothing to complain about, everything went smoothly. The buffet was sufficient and tasty. The Restaurant zum Hirschgarten is fully recommended.

Preis Leistung stimmt nicht. Der Hirschbraten war trocken und geschmacklos, die Rösti waren aus der Fertigpackung und sehr fettlastig,die Suppe war geschmacklos. Für das Gebotene sind fast 25€ -ohne Suppe- auch völlig überhöht.Das Inventar ist in die Jahre gekommen und macht einen auch nicht freudiger. Die Bedienung ist aber sehr freundlich. Isgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Very good food, but somewhat high prices. There is a good view of the deer park when the terrace is open in summer. But you can also sit very well indoors when it's raining and cold outside. There are only a few parking spaces at the house, but there are numerous others not far away.

Visit with reservation, no à la carte, only Christmas menu with a few options to choose from, one of which is "vegetarian": Prosecco stale and warm, but main course - vegetarian ravioli - served almost cold after a long wait. “Vegetarian” menu with shrimp in the soup? But they are only very small, should they still be taken out? After this was answered in the affirmative, the soup came, but also without the greens floating in the "normal" version. Reason: So that the waitress could see where there are no shrimps (??) in it... Ask for about 1 /2 hour (!) after the entree soup was spooned out: are you already (!!) ready for the main course? After quite some time again: at best, half-warm ravioli with an uninviting appearance, dry inside, bland to strange taste. Went back without eating, there was no question from the waitress... you probably already knew why - there were also various other details that you wouldn't expect in a good restaurant... The only thing that came quickly was the bill. The star awarded here goes to the bread: it was fresh and tasty. PS: To answer or correct the restaurant's comment: 1) No, unfortunately there was no reference whatsoever to a Christmas menu, let alone the exclusivity of such a menu, nor was there any information about it in advance. consulted website 2) The menu or its exclusive nature did not suggest that it would be overloaded or overwhelmed due to the limited options 2) Vegetarians and pescatarians are definitely NOT the same thing 3) The cold dish was not "re-prepared", but - according to the company's own statement - merely warmed up again 4) At the time of our visit, the number of soups served was quite manageable 5) Yes, it's definitely the wrong restaurant - in nice surroundings
