A great vegetarian/vegan restaurant in an area where vegetarians and vegans have a tough time. Revolutionary! Delicious food, a very accommodating hostess, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd gladly go back. ❤️

Delicious vegan food in a truly comfortable atmosphere. We felt very well looked after. The two cakes were particularly worth mentioning: tiramisu and apple cheesecake (both vegan). I bake myself occasionally, but I've never managed to make something this delicious! The cakes were simply perfect; I was completely blown away.

The two of us were there this evening. Despite their raspy voices, the waitresses were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious; the wraps and salad are worth a try even for non-vegetarians. The meal was rounded off with the house cake and an espresso. Everything was perfect, so we would happily return to enjoy good food at reasonable prices. We highly recommend it!

What a find, this completely vegetarian restaurant on our way to Hinteriss. Good atmosphere, cold beer but the most importantly: excentellent vegatarian dishes! Highly recommended!

It's absolutely lovely to sit outside. But the food tops everything. We had a vegan doner kebab, with the best vegan doner meat we've ever eaten. The Beyond Meat burger was also extremely good. We can also highly recommend the cheesecake. The service is very friendly and attentive, even when it's busy and seems hectic. We'd love to come back and highly recommend the bistro!! P.S. The first page of the menu is worth reading ❤️

A lovely surprise! We arrived a little late (9 p.m.) and the ladies greeted us with a smile, which wasn't the case. The decor is very nice, and the ladies were very attentive to us. It's worth noting that it's quite rare to find a vegan restaurant in the area! A very good experience for us 🙏

I've been here several times already and tried almost all dishes. What I like the most is the fact, that the owner is listening to feedback and implements it. Hence, the dishes are getting better and yummier. Try the vegan cakes, there are super delicious! Also worth a try for non vegans and vegetarians.

We had a great evening here! As a vegan, it's great to have a menu with so many vegan options in a rural area. And the food was incredibly good, especially the vegan gyro! And the homemade vegan cakes are amazing; we look forward to coming back every time.

Average food. It is reminiscent of a typical German restaurant with hearty dishes, except that instead of meat, a meat substitute is offered. We went there once for dinner and once for coffee. Neither time was it a revelation. The flourless nut cake was rather dry and very filling. With the tiramisu cake you could only imagine the layers. In the mouth the consistency felt slimy and it was a uniform taste. The cheesecake sample was the best. The coffee was so-so. I also found dinner unconvincing. The Greek farmer's salad was drowned in dressing. Besides, I expected something different. In my opinion, white cabbage and other pickled vegetables shouldn't be included. The crispy schnitzel was fried very greasy and had a strange consistency. The fries were limp. There are significantly better meat alternatives for schnitzel. I could have made both dishes better at home. The map is relatively small. The short waiting time is a positive thing. But that was it.

The food was actually really tasty. Unfortunately, one portion of our gyro plate was so salty that you couldn't eat the meat alternative at all. Very unfortunate. In addition, there is just a dog running around in the restaurant, which was very stupid for us with two dogs (one of which is reactive). Especially because he suddenly stood in front of us. It would have been nice if that had been communicated.

I'm not a vegetarian but I still enjoy eating here. And it's comfortable too.

Absolutely nice restaurant with friendly service that is flying the flag of veganism in this corner of the Bavarian foothills of the Alps! Today I had the schnitzel with fries and the owner's dog also came over to be petted. Highly recommended!!

Big Portions and very good service. The food was really tasty and there were a lot of vegan options available.

It was not a taste journey that will be remembered. I had consciously avoided meat substitutes and the like in the hope that the spices would surprise me, make me think or even inspire me. But instead the ingredients remained rather simple and unspectacular. The burger bun was crispy, but tended to be dry. I tried two burgers, but both didn't impress me - they won't end up on my order list again. Baked potato wedges in olive oil would have been a welcome alternative to the classic fries, but here too the experience remained mediocre. Although the price was reasonable, I would happily pay more if the quality was up to par. So my tip, like the food, was rather conservative.

I had dinner here with three friends and we were very happy to find a place with such a nice landlady and such delicious food! If I'm in the area again for vacation, I'll definitely stop by again. :)

Everything was great, delicious food, friendly service

We became aware of the Hirschbachstüberl by chance and are super happy that we were there, the journey was worth it. The food was really delicious, the landlady and cook put a lot of love into it and put so much effort into offering their guests a great time. The landlady is also so warm and friendly, our stay was really nice. We recommend everyone to stop by there, whether for dinner or coffee - the home-baked cakes are great!

I was on vacation in Lenggries a few weeks ago and was really happy that there was a restaurant with vegan options - which is rare in rural Bavaria. We got 3 pieces of vegan cake to take away there. When we walked into the restaurant, the decor seemed pretty run down and it was very untidy. All the window sills were full of junk and the room generally didn't seem hygienic. When we placed our order at the counter, we noticed that there was dog food in a bowl... When we ordered the cake and asked what flavors were available today and we decided on three flavors, one of the waitresses said that we should use other varieties because some of the cakes are no longer completely fresh. Since the cake had already been opened and only a few pieces were available and the restaurant had closed the day before, it can be assumed that the cake was at least two days old. In the end we were packed with tiramisu, chocolate and cheesecake. Because we ordered at the counter, we were able to see into the kitchen. One of the conditions/cooks tried a soup several times with the same spoon and picked something out of the soup with her fingers. Our cake also came from a small old refrigerator and the pieces were placed in a box by hand. And now the kicker: we paid around €16 for the three pieces of cake. Because of all the impressions, we hardly touched the cake at home. All in all we would not recommend the restaurant. The cake certainly has potential and what we tried tasted good, but the impression from the restaurant made the cake inedible.

Very tasty vegan-vegetarian food. Everything freshly prepared and deliciously presented. We were there twice during our short vacation and were very impressed. The atmosphere is rather rustic and quaint. The operator and the cook are very friendly. Unfortunately there is no pasta at the moment, but the vegan tiramisu is worth a sin. We'll come back on our next vacation.

Great food and extremely hospitable. We always enjoy going to the Hirschbergstüberl. The cakes are also highly recommended.

A super cozy place to have a drink with friends. But vegans in particular get their money's worth here, great selection and super tasty! Cakes and skin courses - lovely portions and great service! :D

The food was very good. I was very surprised to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant here in town. The gyros were great, as was the tiramisu. The ambience fits very well into the region.

Fast, delicious, vegan food, even for meat eaters. Everything at fair prices in a rustic atmosphere with friendly, courteous service. A hint that dogs and cats can be found in the guest room would certainly not be bad for allergy sufferers and anxiety sufferers. We really liked it, the kiddies were impressed by the cuddle experience. We'd love to come back!

Surprisingly in this environment there was a vegan/vegetarian menu. The food was very tasty (even for someone like me, who really likes meat and the environment is fun). We had a very nice chat with the owner. We will definitely come here more often from now on.

We have often been to the “Hirschi” during our holidays, which we have been spending in Lenggries for 18 years now. We have never been disappointed and this evening the vegetarian burgers, the vegan gyros and the Thai curry were incredibly tasty 😋. Special requests are also addressed here. The service was friendly and attentive. All in all, it was a very nice evening and we would love to come back.

Were in the area for a short trip and had dinner there. The owner is super nice, the food is really delicious. You feel really homely and if you're lucky, you'll also see your dog and cat and pet them. So beautiful!

So toll! Essen schmeckt so fantastisch. Dazu eine herzliche Wirtin, die sich für jeden Gast Zeit nimmt. Tierwohl wird hier gelebt. Veganes Essen, Tiere willkommen! Eine schöne Atmosphäre begleitet ein schmackhaftes Essen. Für Kinder gibt es Spiel- und Malsachen. Rundum Wohlfühlen. Danke!

Eine urige und doch gemütliche Wirtschaft, für nicht nur Feunde der fleischfreien Kost, sondern auch um in Ruhe bei Tee, Wasser (Sprudel, still), Helles (auch alkfrei), etc. zu verweilen... Bei super Service im gemütlichen Ambiente ist ein Besuch jeder Zeit empfehlenswert....

Update: Während Corona haben wir unser Hirschbachstüberl bitterlich vermisst. Waren wieder da heute und das Essen und Trinken war genauso lecker wie immer! Oh war das wieder schön dort! Genießen, entspannt Speisen mit gutem Gewissen. Die vegane Küche hier ist wirklich hervorragend! Ein echter Geheimtipp. Qualitativ deutlich besser wie das Schicki Micki Max Pett aus München. Wir lieben es hier! Wir fahren dort super gern hin. Sehr leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung, tolle Events...und super schönes Restaurant!!

ich war ein wenig unterwältigt. für den preis habe ich einfach mehr erwartet. alles ein wenig lieblos, der salat sah aus als hätte mein kleiner bruder zu hause mal versucht zu kochen, das essen war lauwarm und generell ist die vegetarisch-vegane küche schon sehr viel weiter als das, was einem hier geboten wird. das ambiente könnte schön sein, leider ist alles recht heruntergekommen. die mitarbeitenden sind nett, aber uns wurden die pommes auf den tisch gekippt und mit den händen wieder auf den teller geschaufelt und besteck wurde erst später auf nachfrage gebracht.

Absolut sympathische Wirtschaft, tolles veganes und vegetarisches Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wer gerne vegan in einer entspannten und sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre isst, der kommt am Hirschbachstüberl nicht vorbei. Das Essen ist wirklich klasse, auch für einen "Fleischfresser" wie mich und die veganen Kuchen sind mein persönliches Highlight. Dort zu essen, zu trinken und zu quatschen fühlt sich immer wie "zu Hause sein" an. Dafür sorgt vor allem Anneliese mit ihrer angenehmen Art. Wir sind immer wieder gerne im Hirschbachstüberl. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise auch in Ordnung. Netter Service und man sitzt auch ganz gemütlich.

Waren gestern zu viert im Hirschbachstueberl, mit dem Zug ca. 1 Stunde von München gekommen. Sehr schönes und schön gelegenes altes Wirtshaus, vom Bahnhof Lenggries in ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Man kann unter einem Glasdach am Haus oder daneben gemütlich draußen sitzen. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir die Tagessuppe, gestern eine cremige und schmackhafte Linsensuppe. Danach einmal das Thaicurry, schönes Aroma, das Gemüse hatte noch Biss und war toll gewürzt (pikant, aber nicht zu scharf). Zum anderen wollten wir eigentlich die Reisbällchen mit Tomatensauce und Salat nehmen. Als die Chefin jedoch meinte, sie hätte frische Pfifferlinge mit Nudeln, die nicht auf der Karte standen, mussten es die sein (3x). Nudeln al dente, dezent gewürzt, so dass das Pilzaroma gut zur Geltung kam, empfehlenswert! Zum Dessert wollten wir uns ein Tiramisu teilen, weil wir schon sehr satt waren. Die Portion wurde in Scheiben auf 4 Teller verteilt und ein Stückchen veganer Käsekuchen kam einfach so noch dazu! Das Tiramisu war lecker, schmeckte jedoch etwas säuerlicher und die Creme war weniger fluffig als das klassische mit Mascarpone, wie ich es sonst kenne. Der Biskuit war toll. Der Käsekuchen war ebenfalls sehr fein. Der Espresso danach war gut, Cappuccino mit pflanzlicher Milch ok, habe ich aber schon besser bekommen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Wir waren ziemlich früh dort - wenn es später voller würde, dürfte es etwas länger dauern, weil die Chefin allein bedient hat und nicht mehr als arbeiten kann. Preis-/Leistung top! Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, waren uns aber einig, dass es nicht das letzte Mal war!

Alles gut vegetarisch und prima Bier 🍻 Schön mal dagewesen zu sein...

Das Restaurant bietet ein schönes Konzept und man sitzt auch draußen recht ungezwungen und gemütlich. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten. Wir hatten den Cheeseburger und die Basilikum-Reisbällchen. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt.

Leider waren wir nicht ganz zufrieden, wir waren die ersten Gäste, vllt hatten wir deshalb bezüglich des Schnitzels und der Pommes (leider auch die ganz dünnen, billigen, fertigen) Pech, beides war vollgesogen mit Fritteusenfett, ich fands ungenießbar und um die Kalorien schade. Die Pizzen waren recht lecker, aber eher auf TK Pizza Niveau. Die Getränkeflaschen die an den Tisch kamen waren alle 3 über ein halbes Jahr abgelaufen. Allgemein macht die Wirtschaft einen schmuddeligen, unsauberen Eindruck. Die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich, das Ambiente ungezwungen und gemütlich. Ich hab mich so sehr gefreut einmal richtig gut vegan essen gehen zu können, schade drum, wir kommen nicht wieder

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant mit einem schönen Ambiente. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Als nicht Veganer muss ich dazu sagen das die Gerichte mit viel Liebe zubereitet sind und das Fleisch einem hier nicht fehlt. Ich werde definitiv hier immer wieder einmal vorbei kommen.
