Großes Restaurant mit Blick auf die Alpen. Das Essen war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Die Preise angemessen.

Wir waren im Frühling an einem regnerischen Tag gegen 13:30 Uhr dort. Das Restaurant war ruhig, aber das Essen war hervorragend. Das Schnitzel mit Pommes war köstlich, ebenso wie das Gulasch und die Wiener Wurst. Das Bier Hacker Pschorr war ein exzellenter, vollmundiger bayerischer Klassiker. Sogar das Wetter spielte mit und klarte zum späten Mittagessen auf. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Erlebnis.

Unglaublich leckere Käsespätzle und Kaiserschmarrn! Preis-Leistung sehr gut und ein sehr netter Wirt. Kann ich wärmstens weiterempfehlen :)

Das Essen war Klasse. Ich habe Käsespätzle ausgesucht und nach ungefähr 10 Minuten kam mein Essen an. Die Aussicht während dem Essen ist eine 10/10

Wir waren mit den Kindern oben. Obwohl es super voll war, war der Service hervorragend und die Pommes für die Kinder kamen quasi direkt bei Bestellung auf den Tisch. Danke dafür! Der Kaiserschmarrn ist einer der besten die ich je gegessen habe: außen knusprig, innen fluffig. So muss das sein 😋

Tolles Restaurant! Bei Gaststätten direkt am Lift bin ich prinzipiell skeptisch, aber hier ist es wirklich super. Der Kaiserschmarrn... ein Traum, außen knusprig, innen fluffig! Das Personal war auch aufmerksam, freundlich und flott, obwohl gestern recht viel los war. Die Aussicht ist natürlich der Oberhammer. Für die Kinder gabs Pommes, die super knusprig und frisch waren. Also ich komme wieder! PS: In größeren Gruppen lohnt es sich, zu reservieren.

Das essen war sehr gut und das ambiente sehr gemütlich, aber es wird sehr langatmig serviert, man ist von 18:30 bis 23 uhr „gefangen“ da die Bergbahn nur an diese Uhrzeiten fährt, auch alles etwas überteuert

Ein Abend – und viele Momente – auf dem Gipfel der Genüsse Unser Candlelight Dinner im Panorama Restaurant Brauneck Anfang 2026 war ein rundum außergewöhnliches Erlebnis – kulinarisch wie atmosphärisch. Schon die nächtliche Gondelfahrt unter dem Sternenhimmel auf über 1.500 Metern stimmt perfekt auf den Abend ein. Oben angekommen, ein herzlicher Sektempfang, Kerzenlicht und eine entspannte, stilvolle Atmosphäre mit beeindruckendem Blick auf die nächtliche, winterliche Bergwelt. Was dann folgte, war ein echter Gipfel der Genüsse: ein mehrgängiges Menü, wunderschön angerichtet, geschmacklich fein abgestimmt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail serviert. Jeder Gang für sich ein kleines Kunstwerk – kreativ, hochwertig und dennoch angenehm bodenständig. Eine Küche auf hohem Niveau, die nicht laut sein muss, um nachhaltig zu beeindrucken. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der außergewöhnlich freundliche, aufmerksame und professionelle Service. Unaufdringlich, herzlich und stets mit einem Lächeln – Änderungswünsche kein Problem. Man fühlt sich willkommen und bestens umsorgt, ohne dass es jemals steif wirkt. Das Panorama Restaurant ist für uns aber nicht nur abends ein Highlight: Auch als Einkehr nach einem Wandertag auf dem Brauneck ist es ein absoluter Genuss. Genau das richtige Essen zur Stärkung, regional geprägt, hervorragend zubereitet und perfekt, um den Tag in den Bergen entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Umso berührender war dieser Abend, da es die letzte Gelegenheit war, das Candlelight Dinner in dieser Form zu erleben. Nach über 20 Jahren geben die Betreiber Julia und Hans Müller den Kochlöffel ab. Man spürt in jedem Detail, wie viel Leidenschaft, Erfahrung und Herzblut hier über all die Jahre eingeflossen sind. Vielen Dank für diese genussvollen Momente, für großartige Gastfreundschaft und für Erlebnisse, die bleiben. Ein würdiger, dankbarer Abschied – und eine absolute Empfehlung, ganz gleich ob zur Wanderpause oder zum festlichen Abend.

Wir waren zum Candlelight-Dinner oben und es war ein Traum. Kulinarisch, optisch und ein hervorragender Service. Die Zusammensetzung der einzelnen Gänge war sensationell und fantastisch im Geschmack!! Dazu das gemütliche Ambiente. Einfach ein Abend den wir nicht vergessen werden. Danke an alle Beteiligten.

Schrecklich! Total unterbesetzt und gereiztes Personal. Es wird pampig geantwortet und man fühlt sich absolut nicht willkommen. Bestellt haben wir unter anderem das Backhendl, Schnitzel, große und kleine Käsespätzle. Schnitzel kamen gleich, waren aber sehr fettig. Backhendl kam vielll zu spät. Alle am Tisch waren bereits fertig mit essen. Auf Nachfrage zwischendurch: „Das Hendl fehlt noch“ hieß es nur: „das mag sein“… Aber die Höhe waren die Käsespätzle. Klein und groß haben einen preislichen Unterschied von 6,00€ sind aber genau gleich groß und waren genau gleich schwer. Auf Nachfrage hieß es ja der Teller von den kleinen ist schwerer. Stimmt nicht. Eindeutige Lüge. Die kleinen waren auf einem einfachen leichten Porzellanteller, die großen in einer massiven Schale. Die Vermutung lag nahe, dass die 6€ teuerere „große“ Portion sogar kleiner war. Uns wurde in keiner Weise entgegengekommen. Kein Nachschlag, kein Preisnachlass. „Ihr habt keine Ahnung, dass is immer so“ - ja super, noch besser. Das grenzt an Betrug… Wir haben den Aufpreis im Endeffekt gezahlt. Wenn ein Restaurant es so nötig hat… Nie wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen, insbesondere die veganen und vegetarischen Gerichte. Und selbst bei viel Betrieb toller immer freundlicher Service!

Excellent food to round off a wonderful day on Brauneck. Very friendly service.

A very beautiful and relaxing place with a lovely view, ideal after a hike. The service was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and very customer-oriented. Unfortunately, there are almost no vegan options on the menu. I had to settle for a double salad without dressing (just olive oil), which was fresh and good, but I really wish there were more choices for vegan guests or an alternative selection of fish dishes.

Today we were on the Brauneck with our daughter and grandchildren. Shortly before the last descent, and also just before the restaurant closed, we stopped for a quick snack on the terrace. A stunning panorama and a fantastic and very clean restaurant. We were served by a super friendly and cheerful waiter who made us feel welcome even shortly before closing time. You could immediately tell that he enjoyed his job. Despite the late hour, everything (pretzels, Obazda (traditional Austrian sausage), salad, soup) was fresh, appetizing, and delicious. And all at a very reasonable price for a mountain restaurant. If it weren't for the cable car ride, we would definitely stop there more often. We'd love to have a restaurant like this near us.

The Kaiserschmarren was delicious with a crispy crust. The staff was very friendly, and the view was simply fantastic.

Summary of the visit After the hike up, we rewarded ourselves with a visit to the restaurant. We had two salads and fries – great salads, everything freshly made (beetroot, coleslaw). The fries were also freshly cut. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. All in all: excellent. Very friendly staff. Would gladly go back.

This location is an absolute dream for photography – especially during the golden hour, when the light softly shines over the mountain peaks. The organization also ran smoothly: The team is friendly, dedicated, and very committed to making the day a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. For couples who love nature, panoramic views, and special moments, the Panorama Restaurant Brauneck is an absolute recommendation!

The best apple strudel I've ever eaten. I recommend enjoying it with vanilla sauce.

We celebrated our wedding in the panoramic restaurant with around 70 guests, and it was simply a perfect day! Besides the stunning view, the perfect service and the outstanding food were especially important! Even during the menu discussion, Hans has the gift of describing the food so well that you immediately get hungry and want everything ;) Together, we put together a menu that was just right for us, and all of the selected dishes, including a large Kaiserschmarrn pan with "show cooking," were absolutely delicious! The entire organization with Julia was super easy and straightforward. From the seating plan to organizing the gondola ride for all guests, transportation, and setting up/taking down our decorations, etc. To this day, guests still rave about the drinks service in the evening; we never ran out of wine 😉 In addition to such large events, you can also enjoy a wonderful meal in the panoramic restaurant – always a welcome stop on our hikes. A drink on the sun terrace and a Kaiserschmarrn are always a hit ;)

After our hike, we wanted a coffee and stopped at the Panorama Restaurant. Amazing view, very friendly and attentive service! The steamed dumpling is absolutely amazing! The best steamed dumpling for miles around 👍👍👍 It's definitely worth treating yourself to another iced coffee there 😊😊😊

Our children celebrated their wedding there last weekend. It was beautiful. Julia, Hans, and the entire team were always there for us. They helped wherever we needed them. Everyone is super nice, attentive, competent... simply everything you could wish for. The food was absolutely delicious. Kudos to you, Hans, and your team. From vegan to vegetarian to meat-eaters, you conjured up something delicious for everyone. Julia, you and your team spoiled us all evening. Everyone was always taken care of. Great location, great view. Great team, very nice service. Friendly, personable and always present. The dishes all taste delicious. You can tell that the food is freshly cooked here. Attention is also paid to the presentation of the dishes; everything looks very appetizing! I'm not normally a fan of the "big restaurants" on the mountain. But this one is really great. Nothing about mass processing or being a tourist eater. Keep it up!!!

The candlelight dinner is simply fantastic. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The table was beautifully set, and everything went smoothly. We would love to come back.

A very touristy place in the ski area. The food is good, but you are for sure paying for it. With their price level I would expect high end food. And it is high end. What brings the place down is the service. The food came one by one with about 15 minutes between each person getting their food. One dish never came and we were there for skiing not to just to sit in the restaurant. More than 45 minutes to get a portion of fries out (more than as we wanted to get back to skiing) is long. If you are going here without skiing it’s a good place. If you are here to ski, bring cash and use one of the other cabins on the mountain. There are many of them

The rustic part of the building to the left of the entrance is particularly recommended. It's more comfortable here than in the other part of the restaurant. And this time I recommend wheat beer spritz as a drink.

We were 4 adults and two kids. The kids got some coloring books and had the time of their life coloring and looking at the gliders out the window. The portions are really big. If you are not starving, the small schnitzel is definitely enough. The staff speaks English.

I received the candlelight dinner as a gift for my birthday and I was really looking forward to this evening. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Everything was explained patiently and I felt well looked after. The food was sensational! The portions are completely sufficient and beautiful successful combinations. All in all, we had a wonderful evening there and would highly recommend it! There was a diverse crowd and not just couples, which loosened up the whole atmosphere and made it very sociable. Don't worry, everyone has their table, but you could see all around how great the atmosphere was without being disturbed.

Das Restaurant liegt direkt an der Bergbahn. Auf der Terrasse hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Alpen. Hier kann man schöne Stunden verbringen. Die Speisekarte ist relativ einfach, nichts besonderes, geschmacklich gut und es ist Kulinarisch noch Luft nach oben, Preis-Leistung in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend….👍👍👍

Today we stopped at the panorama restaurant after a hike on the Brauneck. We ate a very tasty schnitzel there with potato and cucumber salad as a side dish. Afterwards the two of us treated ourselves to a Kaiserschmarrn. I've never eaten a better one. The service was very friendly and the waiting time was short. The prices were also very reasonable given the wonderful view. The day was definitely worth it for us. Thank you very much!

Wunderbares Candle Light Dinner an einem Gewitterabend im Juni: Das Essen schmeckt nicht nur super lecker, es wird mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail serviert. Stilvolle Tischdekoration, aufmerksamer Service, stimmige Weinkarte. Die Abfahrt um 23 Uhr mit der Gondel in die schwarze Nacht hinein ist ein Highlight des Abends und runden diesen kulinarischen Event ab. Empfehlung im Isartal, danke!

The food was very clearly prepared. We were made aware of the vegan options, although we would have liked a few more vegan alternatives. The waitress was very friendly. A second waitress brought drinks and food very quickly. Very well organized in a nice atmosphere.

We went for a candlelight dinner and were well served and the food was really top notch. The ambience leaves almost nothing to be desired. The cable car ride rounds off the whole experience. We will definitely come again.

We had the candle light dinner in the panoramic restaurant and it was super organized from start to finish, great menu, great service - simply a perfect evening! Absolutely recommended!

Very tasty food - also vegan! There were five of us and we got a place on the terrace straight away. Since we had a vegan with us, we didn't take the risk of having lunch at one of the other alpine pastures, but stopped right here. The restaurant even had a completely vegan dish on the menu - a mushroom curry with coconut milk - and the waitress even suggested a modification to another dish, so there was enough choice for everyone. The food was really very very good. I chose the Käsespätzle because it said that it was real mountain cheese from Naturkaserei Tegernsee, whose quality I discovered a few years ago. Normally Kasspatzn in restaurants are way too floury or bland for me, but these were the best I've ever ordered. They come with three types of onions and are simply delicious. The Bavarian sausage salad was also the best my father has ever eaten and my mother was very happy with her Styrian schnitzel. Rounded off with surprisingly friendly service for Bavarian standards and the great view, it's really worth a gondola ride! After a short hike, we went to the Quengeralm for dessert, where the Kaiserschmarrn also tastes very good! During peak operating hours, this also has a vegan dish on the menu.

We never skip lunch at this lovely restaurant every time we are at Brauneck. Food is great, the service is very friendly and the view is terrific!
