I can only agree with the previous reviews; it's so delicious, and the "Running Mezze" offering is a culinary experience! The atmosphere and service are so pleasant, accommodating, friendly, and somehow familiar, making you feel completely at home. I'd be happy to return again; it certainly won't be my last visit!

Very tasty food. The service sometimes has a few hiccups, but they're made up for with charm. Especially when it's full, it can be quite noisy inside, but I'll definitely try out the beer garden 🙂

The service was incredibly friendly. The ambiance wasn't pleasant; the furniture was a bit mismatched. The food was fresh, but it was a matter of taste. I don't really like it. Too much smoky flavor; almost everything tasted the same. For example, I had the grill mix, and I couldn't tell if it was chicken, lamb, or something else. I also think it's a huge waste of food when you order all you can eat. An incredible amount of food gets thrown away because it's not a buffet.

It was great!! For €30 per person you can try everything and there are always seconds if you want. But you can also order individual dishes. The staff is super friendly!! You can bring your own alcoholic drinks. They are not sold.

Highly recommended, from the service to the food, and also in terms of price. Very warm hospitality in a family atmosphere. All dishes are freshly prepared and of high quality, especially the lamb.

It's important to know in advance that you can't eat there without a reservation; you always have to reserve a table. We took the "all you can eat" offer. The food was unique! Incredibly delicious and so many different things, Arabic tapas describes it best. The employees are very nice and always make sure that everything fits and whether a second helping is desired. Simply great, definitely go there again 👍

We went to Hidden Kitchen last year for Lent and it was highly recommended. We then came again this year and the last visit was really disappointing. Like last year, we ordered the running buffet for 5 people, the choice of food was significantly less and there was no soup as a starter. The service really wasn't good at all, we didn't feel comfortable, we expected more service for breaking our fast. For 170 euros we mainly ate side dishes and main courses were only brought to us one plate for five people and only after repeated requests. During Ramadan there was always a bottle of water for two people at the buffet, which this year each bottle was charged extra, the same applied to tea. Unfortunately very disappointing and we didn't really get full so we won't be coming back.

I absolutely love the Hidden Kitchen! The service was excellent, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The concept of Running Mezze is great, you can try different mezzes and order them! The offer is also completely vegan or vegetarian, which I think is absolutely great. Everything tasted great, very varied and deliciously seasoned. At the end we even got a small dessert on the house, which was very delicious. The restaurant is comfortably furnished, just to feel good. We'll definitely be back soon, thank you for the lovely evening! ❤️

Although the food is strong in flavor, we had a bad experience on two unrelated occasions. Once in Ramadan (fasting month), when the restaurant only had a "Ramadan menu" that wasn't written down anywhere, we were a bit irritated and some were slightly overwhelmed by our lack of knowledge about this Syrian cuisine. The waiter was impatient and a bit unfriendly and treated us like a bunch of stupid customers. We showed understanding because he may have been fasting and had a bad day, the food itself was of great quality and OK in terms of quantity. The second time we wanted to have a party (40-50 people), I called and the owner said I should stop by to sort everything out. We stayed there so they called me back to let me know what offer they could make us, that didn't happen. After I had my party somewhere else, I called again, maybe they forgot or lost the number, but they said we were very sorry and we'll call them again, as there's a lot going on right now, that didn't happen either . You called afterwards and kindly apologized.

Nice smaller restaurant. We had the “All you can eat or Running Mezze” - mezze and a selection of main courses that you can order as often as you like. Everything was incredibly tasty - the service explained what was in each bowl, how it was made and where it came from. Highly recommended, would be happy to come back at any time!

Warm welcome. Food came quickly and anything unknown was explained. Everything tasted excellent, I would have liked to have tried and eaten more. I'll definitely come back Addendum: I was there again with friends and we tried the Running Mezze... Just incredibly good. EVERYTHING, really everything, tasted great and I'm a really picky eater. The friends included vegans and vegetarians. We had 3x vegetarian and 3x meat mezze. Everyone was excited and fed up. Unreserved recommendation!!!

The food was without exception delicious, service was friendly, quick and courteous. We had flying mezze and really ate our way through the menu. Maybe it's interesting to know that no alcohol is served, but you can bring your own 'bring your own bottle' The only deduction was that it was very loud and it was difficult to have a conversation

It was great as always. The food tastes simply excellent and the super friendly team rounds off the evening perfectly. Big recommendation: Running Mezze! I also think it's great that when you order, you're asked whether you're vegetarian. Then the portions are vegetarian accordingly.

I went to Hidden Kitchen with three friends last Friday and overall we had a really nice evening! The meze were absolutely delicious – we all agreed on that. I would particularly like to highlight the wait staff: super attentive and incredibly friendly, you immediately feel at home. Price-performance is okay, but the food could have used a little more spice. Unfortunately, the meat in our main course was quite tough, which was a bit of a shame. All in all 4 stars, we still had a great evening and would love to come back!

This cute place is on my 5 top list of best restaurants in the world and believe me I know few 😎 Definitely a really good experience, the amazing lady that provide everything it was the best. But in general all the people that work there is very, very kind and friendly. We got also the best place right in front of the fire place. About the food there’s no words, absolutely delicious. No mistakes at all. I really recommend this place and I will be back because the experience it was amazing. First time in Nürnberg and already have my favorite place 💜

Really a tip for good Levantine cuisine! Unfortunately, we sometimes had to ask more often to reorder the meze, and then the meze we ordered came incomplete or in extremely small portions, e.g. B. two cauliflower florets for four people.

The three of us were here recently because the Running Mezze sounded very promising. After we had the first 10 bowls on the table we were already very impressed, but 10 more mezzes easily followed. There was something for everyone here, from classics like hummus, outstanding falafel or baba ganoush to tabbouleh and muhammara to various warm meat dishes/skewers and baked/grilled vegetables. Everything is wonderfully seasoned and seasoned, freshly prepared and, above all, plentiful. You definitely get your money's worth here! You feel welcome and always well looked after from the first second. The staff is generally very attentive and super friendly. Absolute recommendation for anyone who either doesn't know Middle Eastern cuisine or already loves it :)

THE culinary “place to be” in Nuremberg The Hidden Kitchen was truly a first-class experience in every respect! Visited without great expectations out of interest in the unique concept of 'Running Meze' - we were not aware of how intensively and outstandingly well one would be sent into the world of the highest Levantine culinary art. All of the senses of the palate were truly catered for here, with everything so authentically and perfectly prepared and seasoned as if mom herself were standing behind the stove and preparing every dish for her own family. We're not talking about simple meze here, but rather of an incredibly high level that would be a popular address even in the Levant. A great selection, from mild to spicy, from salty to sweet to savory. Some things seemed almost surreal, it was that good. Price performance was more than okay, considering that you could reorder without limits, it's almost a bargain. The ambience was very pleasant but perhaps the only point that needed improvement. The service was outstanding and very attentive, all the meze were explained to us very well, new bread was always refilled and we were asked every 5 minutes if we wanted to order something else. In the end we had a small record put together of our absolute favorites, which wasn't a problem at all. All in all, a great experience and definitely worth a visit that will be remembered for a long time. It is a great asset to have such a pearl of Levantine cuisine in Nuremberg. We'll definitely see each other again soon.

A visit here is definitely worth it! Great service who really knows what is being served, nice atmosphere and the many small dishes were excellent! Just a small note: the music was sometimes a bit too loud to have a normal conversation.

Those who ordered running meze definitely had a better experience, but my group ordered alla cart. We waited forever for our food while other tables had already had their food and were already on their third round. Parts of the order were forgotten and quickly put on the table at the very end, when we were already finished. The fallaffle salad was a disappointment. A single drop monkey on top. Wow.

I had dinner here and tried their Oriental Bowl with lamb meat. The dish itself was ok; the amount of yogurt was a bit much and too tart. Almost every bite was more tart than the flavors of the actual dish. The overall dish also led me to have a slight stomach ache, likely from the abundance of yogurt used. The service was good, and the atmosphere was decent. I will have to try one of their other dishes next time to see if it is isolated to just that dish. The bread was very tasty.

We are now regular customers, i.e. h. we are there once a month. We always have friends and family with us and everyone has been thrilled so far. When ordering, you will be asked about any intolerances and these will also be taken into account. Thanks for this. The food is always delicious and fresh. I can simply recommend everything. Small downside: the drinks menu is pretty manageable. The service is always friendly and courteous. It's a great, well-coordinated team! We would be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the restaurant to others.

I had never felt SO connected to a restaurant (or the team!) in my life when I tried it for the first time - especially without a special event being involved. This inexpensive, fresh, varied and really tasty food - combined with the most thoughtful owner I have ever met - simply blew us away! I love it! And I hope I have many more Nuremberg trips ahead of me :) It's definitely planned to come by every time and be a regular guest! A huge thank you for an unforgettable evening <3

Wow, that was a 10/10 I've never been to a restaurant where the overall experience was so well rounded. Truly one of the best things I've ever tasted. The dishes were explained to us and trying out the huge selection was great fun. I'll definitely be back! Huge selection for vegans too.

The mint sauce in particular is extremely delicious. I have reordered several times. Unfortunately only 4 stars because of non-alcoholic beer. So take your beer with you. You only have to pay 2 euros glass money per person!!!

We were there for the first time on Saturday evening. And we are absolutely thrilled. The food was super good. The staff very friendly and helpful. The mezze we ordered was explained to us. What we liked: No alcohol and the beautiful design of the guest room. Even though all the tables were in the beautiful courtyard, you can tell that a story is being told here. We'll definitely go back there more often.

The sessions are arranged, the service is more than wonderful, and the food is amazing. The restaurant is second to none in the area.

I felt like I was on vacation😅. Really cozy and beautiful 🥰 in the garden. The service was super nice and always explained everything to everyone in such detail, really cute, they pay a lot of attention to allergies👍🏼. Very animal-friendly people immediately brought us water for the dogs. And the food was of course very tasty, just as we expected. Oh and there is no alcohol, no pork and no boycotted brands😏. So everything was great✌🏼

The best Arabic restaurant in Nuremberg! I would eat here any time. The boss is often great and the service staff is always nice and accommodating. I would recommend everyone to order the mezze plate!

The food was delicious, but the meze platter is a bit too little for two people, especially two pieces of bread are not enough. I didn't like the ambience outside, it's a backyard and the tables and chairs are set up next to the camp. Tables and chairs were constantly being rearranged and there was a bit of chaos. Unfortunately I didn't feel very comfortable. Staff is very friendly.

I recommend this restaurant without reservation! We went to Hidden Kitchen for the first time today and loved it! The few bad reviews initially made me a little suspicious, but we had an extremely positive experience and couldn't understand any of the negative stuff. The food is more than enough (we treated ourselves to the all you can eat mezze), everything is super super fresh and, above all, delicious and something different. All the staff were very friendly, respectful and accommodating. We felt comfortable and would love to come back. By the way, the restaurant is also clean, which unfortunately is not a given in Nuremberg these days.

Fresh ingredients, delicious herbs and valuable oils… The mezze and the freshly baked warm flatbread are a delight. During your stay you think you are in the Middle East, only without war! Top address with very friendly staff who explain everything to you... A restaurant where vegans or vegetarians will be just as happy as meat lovers! The most important thing: Quality has remained consistently high since it opened! Gladly again!!! 😋

If you can't decide, you should go for the All You Can Eat offer. Then you simply get a bit of everything and can then order more specifically. The food was simply incredibly tasty and there were dishes that I didn't know before. We were outdoors and the space is quite spacious, but you should reserve in advance as it was very busy. We were there for the second time and had the Running Mezze and were absolutely thrilled! Everything is very fresh, rich and varied! The many small dishes barely fit on the table. Vegetarian diets are gladly taken into account. The hummus is especially delicious! There is no alcohol, but the non-alcoholic beer and Arabic coffee are very tasty. The food is worth its price!

Food is delicious. Lots of vegan options. The service was very friendly. The 3 of us had the starter platter for 4 and we were well fed. The main courses are also very large. Points are also deducted because people are allowed to smoke at the tables while others are still eating. Since the tables outside are covered, the smoke just lingers for a long time and it's really very unpleasant and disgusting when eating. There would be enough space in the yard to set up a smoking area. Map is small but nice.
