I ate at HHamburger on September 29th, 2024 and can report very positive things. I picked up the food myself because I was in the area. I was able to park briefly opposite for free. I ordered several hamburgers and fries. The food was very tasty and the staff was nice and helpful. I could also pay by EC card. Thank you and gladly again :)

Worst and most expensive burger I've ever had. (Cheeseburger €7.90) The burger bun is really cool (that's why at least 1 star) then a dollop of ketchup, the patty was anything but smash and you had to look for the cheese. He didn't have any extra cheese sauce (€4). But at least the hair in the burger was free 🤣 The guest room and the toilet were dirty. In summary: 17 minutes of waiting time for the biggest disappointment of the evening in Hamburg... Thanks for nothing bro 🤘🏻

Citizen really sucks. The fries are very tasteless and taste like frying fat and the citizens have very little taste, small pattie, only ketchup on the cheeseburger (no burger sauce) and the pattie from the chicken burger is a frozen pattie with no taste. Really not recommended…

We visited on a Sunday afternoon, although there were many customers. But we had no trouble finding a place. The staff is friendly and caring. Hamburger patties could be slightly larger. If you already offer “smash BOX” then you should AT LEAST offer a sauce of your choice. 20€ for 2 burgers and fries. Also, the fries were way too salty and the meat smelled... Found the store online and everything looked great there. But we were rather disappointed. The burger fell apart while eating it and wasn't anything special. More of a quick “fast food burger” than a well-made burger. The fries were delicious. Therefore, not a recommendation for us. Had dinner there with 3 people Everyone had stomach problems in the days afterwards. The food wasn't tasty either, the burgers were OK and the fries were extremely bad. They also charged extra for the sauces even though they were included in the menu according to the display board and I wasn't given an invoice when I asked. Somehow the staff seemed to be quite overwhelmed. We were the only ones in the store and still had to wait over 30 minutes for our food.

Delicious burgers with good portions that really fill you up. You can still get fair prices for good burgers here. I have no idea how to describe this... Were in Hamburg for a concert, wanted to eat something and we noticed the store positively from the outside. Prices were also right, location was nice and everything looked promising. There were three of us and ordered three menus. The waitress was completely overwhelmed and it felt like she was there for the first day. (If that was it, then I'm sorry, but she didn't really get any support from her colleagues) Were asked what we wanted to eat, what fries, what drinks and what sauces we would like. (No mention of surcharges) So, paid, waited at the table for the food. Then we noticed that the sauces were charged at EUR 1.50 each on the bill. (Here it was no more than a tablespoon of sauce). Again, no mention of extra charges. We looked at the menu: everything was priced, no definition of the menu or that sauces cost extra. My friend then brought this up and asked why the sauces, which in our world are part of a menu or at least have an addendum like "sauces cost extra", were charged extra without saying anything. This was followed by an explanation that I couldn't understand, saying that the sauces weren't part of the menu and that the prices were on the menu. There was no answer to the fact that it didn't say that sauce wasn't included with the fries and we let it go. My menu was top, juicy, burgers were really very well put together. My friend specifically said that she didn't want onions on her burger. And reiterated that it was important to her. Her burger came with onions of course. I noted it and asked if the burger could be remade again with the customer's request. Here the cashier/cook/assistant cook/operator said "Show me the other burger, it doesn't have onions!". (Spoiler, this one had onions on it - as ordered). No "sorry", no "oh, I'm just making this right" or any accommodation whatsoever. But a reluctant taking back of the burger. We simply replaced the top bun with a new one. There was still an onion on it. We were really happy to eat a hamburger from Hamburg, but the mood was completely gone afterwards. What was missing is that they would have come after us because of the deposit. If you order a normal a la carte, without sauce and without any special requests - then it would certainly be a top shop. But it was really just a mood killer.

The cashier accepts the order, after which he put the patties onto the record and in the end he still delivers food. There is no real communication and this will mess you up. We waited almost 1 hour for 2 burger menus. And everyone who ordered after us also had a high waiting time. How were everyone visibly annoyed and the staff was very interested in that! We all asked how long it takes and it came: "What should I do now". This is exactly what calms the customers who wait for a few burgers at an hour of waiting. The card is not large and 3 people are not to edit more than 3 order. There is also the delivery service. If you can't even manage to place your order in the store, you shouldn't also offer a delivery service. Our fries were cold because they were made first for every order and so they got colder and colder from order to order. The citizens were made last and same game. The first ones still warm and then colder. Since we were among the last, ours was of course no longer warm. We didn't get a discount or anything like home-made drinks, let alone any offer or apology. I cannot recommend this burger shop as long as no specialist staff works. I ordered the Cajun fries from the fries. Which is nothing but the normal fries through which a paprika mixture is sprinkled. Unfortunately, there are still many who underestimate the gastronomy and make it easy. Very disappointing.

Very tasty food. We have ordered to-go burgers, fries and chicken bites several times and can only recommend it. The “special sauce” is particularly good. There can sometimes be longer waiting times on site, but since the food is freshly prepared, you are happy to wait a while. The only improvement that could be made would be the organization on site. Ordering can sometimes be a bit chaotic. But otherwise all in all a great burger joint! Edit: unfortunately they seem to have switched from the delicious potato buns to normal burger buns. It's still a tasty burger, but not as special anymore.

Where should I start! I wanted to break our fast with a friend at HH Burgers and we were there 30 minutes before Iftar (breaking the fast). We waited for almost an hour and the store wasn't even full. You quickly had a bad feeling because you could see that the burger makers seemed overwhelmed. They got mixed up with the orders and the certain things were no longer in stock were not passed on to everyone, so this order went through and was communicated very late to the customer, who then had to place their orders again and then had to wait longer again. After 40 minutes I explained our situation to the boys and that still didn't break our fast. They just said “I can’t help it now”. Instead of offering us water or a portion of fries, all we get is rudeness. After almost an hour we finally have our cold fries and burgers. Speaking of fries. They were also as thin as those from Aldi and Lidl. This has no place in a burger joint. We drove 100 km for this. A bitter disappointment. Never again, I can't recommend it to anyone. A lot has to change first. Trained staff for catering and dealing with customers.

Very aggressive employee. I ordered a burger for €9.90 And didn't get any change because there was no change. The kitchen and the floor are very dirty and there are leftover food such as fries on the floor. Gloves are worn, but the gloves the employee uses to collect cash are also used to prepare burgers.

Although the fries were fresh, it seemed that some of the fries were not fresh mixed in, which detracted from the overall experience. Overall, the experience could be significantly improved through improved food preparation and appropriate facilities in the establishment.

Absolute impudence, especially with a chicken burger that uses crispy chicken from the supermarket. The store has understood all the principles... 1 toilet which is absolutely unacceptable for men and women.
