Had a good meal, in the center of Munich.

Herrschaftszeiten offers an incredible dining experience! The food is simply amazing, with dishes that are both flavorful and beautifully presented. Their selection of beer is fantastic, and the red wine pairs perfectly with the meal, adding a rich depth to the experience. Special mention to Fabi for the outstanding service—attentive, friendly, and really made the evening even more enjoyable! Definitely a place to visit if you're looking for great food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Very tasty real brewery right in the valley. Service was very quick and courteous. There is also beer in iced glasses. I can only recommend it!

The most beautiful inn in Munich. Great service and friendly staff. The food is very tasty and the dumplings are a highlight. An absolute recommendation.

Very, very, very bad services….

I've often enjoyed a break here, especially in the back beer garden when it gets too crowded outside. Very nice location! But after 25 minutes in a half-full beer garden we left because the two employees were completely overwhelmed and unfriendly. The main thing is that the hairstyle and the dirndl fit! An Oktoberfest waitress would totally rock it and triple sales! It's a shame and no advertising for the company on the edge of the stand on the A8. Change tenants or take it into your own hands!

Interesting interior and polite waiters, a varied menu. They did not regret coming.

Very friendly and good-humored service that is also fun to have. Children (strollers) are also welcome here. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The drinks and food came very quickly. We'd love to come back.

Service is terrible. People who came after us were served before us. We were only noticed when we drew attention to ourselves. One of our orders (3 drinks) never arrived. It was not possible to ask and the waiter was no longer seen.

Very nice restaurant, with a perfect mix of modern and traditional elements. Waiters were friendly and the food was very tasty.

Unfortunately, the Paulaner in the valley lost its charm after the takeover. In our opinion, the new operators have placed too much emphasis on modernization. But that doesn't affect the quality. My wife was very happy with the ox broth, my two types of cheese were great. The portions on neighboring tables also looked great. Price/performance ratio is right. The young waitress did everything she could to serve many of the tables outside on her own. Would love to come back.

Sulten og vandrende gatelangs i byen sent på kvelden så var det tilfeldigheter som tok meg til denne plassen. Sentral og god plassering, hyggelig betjening og god mat, selv om den var blitt litt kald. Kommer gjerne igjen for et godt stykke Bayern.

VERY EXPENSIVE! price not comparable to elsewhere. €23.50 for just a Schnitsel (from a chip shop 🤨) if you want to add bratkartoffelen or pommes then €6.90 will be added. Too little service, or she didn't want to see new customers. People left again because there was no service. The food tasted good and the place is nicely decorated

We had some schupfnudeln, ochsenbäckchen and the haxe. Haxe and schupfnudeln were okay,while the 3rd dish was below average. Overall about the service there are not enough staff, and we were waiting for the food for a while, around 40-50 minutes I would say, and when paying, one of the people forgot about us, and we had to ask again after 20 minutes.

We really enjoy coming here as a group of friends and drinking a few beers from the wooden barrel. So far all the waitresses have been nice. Sometimes they got along so well with us that they sat down at the table with us at the end of their shift and drank a beer with us. The sanitary facilities are very clean. We never had any problems when we reserved a table for the same evening. Not even for 8-10 people. The food has always been good so far. We would be happy to come back at any time!

Very good food, good service. The restaurant offers more than the rating on Google suggests. The veal schnitzel and the tartare are particularly great. Prices are very fair.

Delicious food. There was something for everyone: meat, vegetarian or vegan. Everything was super tasty. Prices are just Munich-like. You can sit either outside or inside. There is enough space :) we were served by an extremely nice cellar. We would definitely come again :)

Alleine wird man nicht bedient, weil es nicht genügend Umsatz bringt wohl an der Straße und bevor man eine Karte bekommt wird man erstmal des Platzes verwiesen, das man neu Platziert werden muss. Gilt wohl nur für Leute die alleine kommen, denn 3 Personen neben mir setzen sich hin wo frei ist und die Bedienung kümmert sich sofort. 1 Person bringt es wohl nicht. Aber ist eben München und da kann man sich auch als Bedienung alles rausnehmen und um die Karte muss noch mal extra gebeten werden. Arrogant und herablassend mit einem schön gekünstelten italienischem Akzent. Das Essen überteuert und fertigt angebraten. Da wünscht man sich als Gast doch mehr Gastfreundlichkeit. Das hier ist eher ne Touristische Falle…. Bei fast 20€ für ein Radler und einen Leberkäs mit Kartoffel Salat in Microform.

Really bad experience here! We were greeted by a waiter who refused to speak English. Since we then have to pay, the bill will be a whopping 30 euros for only 3 waters and 1 beer. Here the waiter can suddenly speak good English and asks if we want a 10, 20 or 25% tip. We confusedly say we don't want to tip, whereupon he starts arguing that we should. We didn't think he should get a tip for giving us 3 waters and 1 beer which were already really expensive and for a waiter who was so arrogant that he didn't understand that everyone can't speak German. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. Terrible service and WAY too expensive. Stay away from the waiter wearing long red stockings!

As a Munich resident, I have long been recommending the Paulaner im Tal to all friends who visit the city, and we always come here together. Yesterday I brought friends back to you after numerous positive stories. Unfortunately, yesterday's visit was a disappointment. The service was very slow and a bit rude, which I have never experienced from you before. So my friend decided not to tip. Your waiter then responded by saying, "That's bad. If I work here and bring and collect something 2-3 times, it's bad that you don't tip. Learn that you have to tip at the end." Dear Paulaner in the valley, that was very disappointing for me. I would not have expected that my guests, to whom I had told a lot about the friendliness of Munich people and the perfect service, would encounter such disrespectful behavior.

I was here for dinner, we had a great meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Precise and fast service.

Vi gikk inn på måfå etter å ha lett etter et sted å spise gjennom halve gamlebyen. Dette var det beste vi spiste på en ukes tir gjennom Tyskland. 36-timers oksekjake var nydelig, med god potetmos, nydelig sopp og perfekt dampet asparges. Sausen var fantastisk god! Vennlig og rask service. Eneste skår i gleden var når man skulle tipse med kort, da de hadde lagt til prosent på forhånd; dårlig service 7%, middels 14% og god service 21%. Jeg mente det var veldig god service, men endte på 14%, noe som ble 20 Euro ekstra. Uansett høyt anbefalt sted, men tips med kontanter.

Went to the restaurant in question for the first time yesterday for lunch following a recommendation. After a long wait the waiter finally came. A very arrogant, arrogant person! The food was very good but the service left a lot to be desired! There are numerous other good restaurants in Munich where the food tastes very good and, above all, the service is much better!

Horrible experience! The waiter has a really bad attitude. After we sat down, we ordered non-alcoholic drinks and he literally said “you are a bad customer” and he started comparing our bill to the people sitting next to us! I don’t know how he is still a waiter! The worst part is he made us pay 10% tip for the service!!!

Very "interesting" attitude towards tourists, they are simply thrown out into the street. The administrator is not educated and not restrained.

If you are young, expect to be stepped on. The waiters are rude and force tourists to leave tips, supposedly “obligatory”!

We came to watch a match on the terrace and unfortunately it started to rain. The waiters refused to let us in even though many other people walked past us. I would like to point out that we had paid more than €30 for consumption and that the rain made the terrace unusable. Finally, they agreed to let us in, only if we stayed in front of the toilet entrance and stood (always specifying that many tables were available inside). I would like to add that the waiter forced us to leave a power by arguing that he 'had to go back and forth in the rain', among other things a huge effort. In summary: disrespectful service towards customers not prestigious enough for the establishment (although they consume a lot) and could not be more unpleasant. If you want to be considered, move on.

Had a friendly server who allowed me to take a photo with him in his lederhosen. Pork knuckles and dumplings were ok, not really hot though, and paid 85euros for two people, including one drink each and 7% tip. For that price we should have had bread and salad included. It was meat and dumplings only. But I loved the place, drinks were nice and cold, and I loved the server.

Wollten am Straßenseitigen Gastgarten erst nur ein Getränk einnehmen, haben uns dann aber doch entschieden, einen Snack zu essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Bruscetta-Tris mit Beef Tatare/Frischkäseaufstrich/Wurdtsalat war herborragend. Auch der Salat und die Weißwurst meiner Freundinnen sahen sehr ansprechend aus. Alles top

As for Ukrainians with little knowledge, I advise you to talk to the waiter before ordering, we ordered Das Graße and thought it would be a large plate with sausages, cheese and grilled vegetables. They brought a cold, pickled board with snacks to go with beer/vodka. A plus for fast service, a minus for the lack of pictures in the menu and people always smoking nearby)

Great food - there is a white sausage breakfast (even vegetarian) and traditional Bavarian food. If you're up for the full Bavaria experience, this is the place for you

If you can’t not handle having a restaurant , just close it. Just went in ( alone) to try to watch a football game during Euro, and a kind of hero was way to arrogant to let me sit there, Place was a mess, dirty and loud, lucky didn’t stay; Went to the bars besides that one, way better and way nicer service!

Horrible service & overpriced food. The staff don't care. Despite the empty hall, we were not allowed to sit at the table we wanted. The staff eat in the hall and lick their fingers - professionally. I would like to separately note the waiter in long red socks, I have not met such arrogance for a long time.

I entered the store at the end of May. Ordered pretzels, white sausage, beer, and wine🍺🍷 The white sausage was especially delicious! It goes great with apple mustard 🍎The male staff had a wonderful smile and had the best customer service!

This was a great lunch in a very nice atmosphere. The Bavarian cuisine you would expect, along with good beer and hearty background music. The premises are new and attractive. Going to the toilet is also really nice. You just have to understand a little Bavarian and have fun. Splendid. Really worth a visit and I'll be back!

Selten so schlecht gegesssen.Vor ca. 3 Wochen einen Schweinebraten gegessen...er wurde fast kalt serviert.Aufgrund meiner Monierung, wurde er erneut serviert, diesesmal warm.Das Fleisch war zäh , die Knödel hart. Alles lieblos auf den Teller "geklatscht". Es fehlten beim zweiten Mal die Preiselbeeren. Ich dachte jeder bekommt eine zweite Chance. Gestern ein Kalbsschnitzel bestellt.Das Fleisch war wieder derart zäh.Einfach nicht zu essen.Ich würde dieses Restaurant als Touristenfalle bezeichnen.

The gentleman with a tattoo on his neck was unfriendly. Mother with child wants to go to the toilet after 70€ drinks and uses the wrong entrance door. You can also say that another way. Incomprehensible.! Rest & service was completely fine. It's a shame that there are such unpleasant people.

The restaurant offers excellent service. The duck was excellently cooked and the ox cheeks were the best I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. A must for foodies!

When we reached Munich was at night already so we looked for restaurants that still open and we got this restaurant, they served great beer and tasty food. It's so good, completed with friendly staff who kept asking how we are, how was the food, love it all!

The staff was friendly and we were able to find a place after dinner without making a reservation. The hot apple dessert is very delicious, and the beverage service is fast.

Maybe a good place, maybe not. When we were seated at a table outside on a sunny Saturday, the place was about half full. But the two employees didn't want to serve us. Every now and then people cleaned tables and stood around bored, the guests were ignored. We left again after 10 minutes.

Waiter without manners. Never again

Everything just worked for us here. Food was very tasty, the employees were all very nice and extremely customer-oriented. We were there with a baby. The baby was very fussy and unfortunately some soup spilled. The staff took this very calmly, cleaned everything and served a new soup. All in all, we can only recommend the Paulaner im Tal!

What can I say, you go drinking here and the service is great and makes sure that the glass never stays empty for long, it's just great

Went there from the bowling club and spent two great evenings there. The service is very warm and open. The atmosphere is simply cozy. We'd love to come back!

Wonderful place! Food is fantastic and the restaurant is well kept and very clean! Beer was delicious and refreshing, asking for recommendations each time and they never disappoint! It was a nice warm day and we happen to walk by this cute restaurant and bar that had outdoor seating on the sidewalk so we decided to stop and have some beer and wine and pretzel and apple strudel. My husband said the apple strudel was the best he’s ever had. We also split a couple pretzels and I had some french fries. Everything was great and our server Christian was awesome! He is very nice and very quick. I would highly recommend this place.

Place has both traditional and hip vibes. Food was pretty good, with a modern take on Bavarian classics. Staff was very friendly. I deducted one star because they suddenly were out of two of dishes but only realized long after we ordered them. But since this restaurant just recently opened I am confident they will get better over time (and earn another star).

We've been here twice now for their vegan breakfast. The vegan white sausages are really great. Tastes great and the service is always nice and friendly. Go there and try it out!

There are really many restaurants and pubs in this area, but the first argument for going here is the best beer in Munich: Paulaner. Furthermore, as a fish lover from northern Germany, I can only say: There is no better place for good food anywhere in downtown Munich Fish

What a shame this Paulaner restaurant and bar has such service and food quality. I should have read recent reviews before trying it for lunch. The food was ok, veal escalope and the beer Helles was alright. Neither good. It’s clear they wanted people to pay in cash and not sit where they wanted. The 10% mandatory service charge was explained up front but still I had to wait far too long to get the POS machine to pay my 40 euros and leave. Yes it’s near Marienplatz so i should have been more careful with my choice. Hofbrauhaus yesterday’s choice, caters for tourists marvellously well. A better option than here.

Not the best service, demanding tip, nice beer and they insisted paying by cash only, while they left POS in our table! Strange cashland!

I share another racist anecdote from my life. 3 friends and I (I'm the only one with a southern look) wait at the sign to be called to our table. I would like to note that everyone was well dressed and did not look unkempt. I don't know since when this should be an exclusion criterion in a half-full bar? Well, back to the basics: We are 1:15 hours before the end of the day. A group of three German men push their way forward, stand in the shop and are called through and escorted to a place. 2 foreign men also walk past us and are greeted with the words “we’re closed!!!” we’re closed!!” sent away. One look at me and the same words are shouted at us. Apparently I/we were not believed to be able to speak the German language. The gentleman with the curly hair and the rather poor Brad Pitt hairstyle then said goodbye with a gesture that no more guests would be allowed in. Waited around the corner for 5 minutes and watched as more guests were let in. A bar that leaves a racist impression, without us talking about a movie casino or anything else. No recommendation. The Tegernseer Tal Bräuhaus is 2 doors away. Great service, great reception. Bottom up.

The schnitzel is one dry disaster. Other breweries can do the knuckle much better. Unfortunately the only disappointment was the food.

We were there yesterday around 4 p.m. and wanted to eat something. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and bring the menu, even though at that point there was one table in the restaurant and a maximum of 3 tables on the terrace occupied, a visibly inebriated waiter came to the table and told us that There is a sign at the entrance of the restaurant that says "We will seat you at your table" and he brought us to the table himself, but I suspect that due to alcoholism he forgot that he brought us to the table. After that we just got up and left because he probably would have forgotten what he ordered. “Really great service”

We went there to have an aperitif for a stag party. Despite the noise, the staff were always very kind and even played a prank on the groom. The beer is obviously good, but what we appreciated most was definitely the environment and the staff. Thanks again!!

Update: Today's visit was pretty bad. Drinks came quickly. We had to wait 15 minutes for the soup. After more than 45 minutes (!) the main courses arrived. Roast pork and knuckle are actually dishes that should come prepared and quickly. They came late, not hot and unfortunately the quality of the meat was significantly worse than the previous visit. Top, however: the wild garlic soup. By the way, the waiter's statement: if it's only full inside or outside, then it's fine, if there are more guests, then you have a problem. A pity. Original review: Positively surprised At the barbecue evening in the courtyard for two, we tried schnitzel, red Krainer, Coleslow, baked potatoes and fries. Everything is better than expected, the price-performance ratio for the food is absolutely right at the moment. It would only be good if the loose stones in the courtyard were fixed or disposed of as quickly as possible.

While the food was very good, the service and this the atmosphere was not good. If there is a mistake in the order, you may be blamed. Also, the maitre that evening was not a gentleman.

It tends to be a nice place, but the staff is so dubious, unfriendly and generally unmotivated. By the time I received the menu, several minutes had already passed, even though only 6 tables were occupied and there were 2 waiters. The small, slim waiter from lunch today was the icing on the cake. Rarely have we seen such an unfriendly service person who throws down the drinks and dishes without “please” or “thank you”, which are not exactly cheap. Lunch specials are also not recommended due to the freshness of the goods. Chicken leg totally dry, served with spaetzle. When I asked if they could bring me a shot of a sauce, they first said “yes”. After waiting for 5 minutes, I then received a “sorry, costs 3 euros extra”. Will I see anyone come back?

Very loud, Oktoberfest atmosphere... in my opinion, more for tourists...

Unfortunately, portions were way too small for the price. I couldn't get enough from a duck leg for around €20 + the meat and the 2 very small dumplings that came with it were very dry and there wasn't enough sauce. The dumplings also looked like 100% from the supermarket and unfortunately tasted like that too (very neutral taste) :( I ordered fried potatoes for “dessert” to fill me up a bit. Too bad. In return, the service and the ambience are very good.

Reign is of the deia!!!! Each half pint in a pub with Augustiner beer costs less than 5 EUR in the city center. Here the Paulaner 6.10 EUR.

Delicious food and a beautiful restaurant. Quite fancier than a regular Brauhaus meal we actually wanted. The copper tap and the stained glass ceiling are real eye-catchers. The service is friendly, although I cannot call it cordial, which was possible during a quiet lunch. Our table lady was certainly quick in bringing what we ordered. Food was good and fresh. The Käse Lauch Spätzle were freshly made and the Herring Hausfrauart very tasty! If you like fish, definitely recommended!

Wir saßen schon 30 Minuten bevor wir überhaupt Getränke bestellen konnten. Weitere 20 Minuten bis wir Essen bestellen durften. Darauf haben wir dann auch ne Stunde gewartet. Keinen Löffel zur Suppe. Das Essen war zwar teilweise kalt, aber alles in allem Lecker. Die Rechnung mussten wir auch zwei mal bestellen. Dafür sind die Preise schon echt happig. Stimmung Vorort ist trotzdem ganz gut Wir waren zwar eine große Gruppe (16pax), aber wir waren ja nicht spontan da. Echt Schade, weil das Ambiente ganz cool ist. Es gab als Entschädigung einen Schnaps aufs Haus.
