We ended up here by chance and were very pleasantly surprised. Nice little beer garden in the back yard, the service is quick and very friendly. What we liked was that when we ordered the food, she informed us (and apologized) that it might take a while. But that wasn't a problem. The food made up for it. It was very very tasty. Overall: Service (all of them): great, The restaurant and the beer garden: very cozy, Food: great Even if it's not our corner... we want to come back.

Nice little beer garden, the Viennese style schnitzel arrived a bit pale, the suspicion was unfounded, the breading was crispy, the meat was juicy, the potato salad was good. The service was attentive, but I still deducted a star because you are only allowed to play chess in exceptional cases, which is a shame. There was no problem with playing chess this time, maybe it was due to the weather. The crusty roast was really bad, tough because it was grilled again to warm it up, and there was too much sauce thickener in the sauce. The coleslaw didn't have enough water, but I added a lot of caraway seeds, which was fine. 1 point deducted for the food, 1 point more for the service.

Delicious food, good selection, including vegetarian dishes. A very beautiful garden, an oasis in the city. Attentive and super friendly service. I always enjoy going there, even just for a cold beer after a hot summer day!

Munich is famous for grumpy beer garten services but this place has out of ordinary service level with modernized yet delicious Bavarian dishes. Of course, close to the Augustine beer brewery, you can get the fresh beers here as well. They also have lovely outdoor seating for anyone love to drink beer in breeze! This is a cute and high-level service beer park that is highly recommended. The service staff are very friendly and will confirm your needs in a timely manner. The service level is really one of the best among Munich's beer parks! There are outdoor seats and very special and innovative Bavarian cuisine. It is not too heavy, and it retains the traditional flavor without being too greasy. Many traditional medium, heavy, salty and large portions have been slightly improved, and they are also very suitable for Asian tastes. Not only is the location convenient, but they also deliver super fresh beer every day! Recommended for those who like warm snacks, want to try something new and experience a wonderful beer park experience.

Quiet little beer garden behind the house! Good food and top price

There were three of us in this restaurant. None of us liked the food. The service was nice but inexperienced. Sitting on the benches was no fun either. Finding a parking space is also not easy. I don't need it again.

We had our office event in Zur Schwalbe. The service was pretty good. We had cheese platters, some cold cut meat, potato salad, breads and dips as starters with drinks. For the main course, there was a buffet with chicken, chickpea coconut curry with rice. The chickpea coconut curry was really good, everything else was average.

Great, old bowling alley (apparently the oldest automated bowling alley in Munich), which is not in the basement, but in a slightly separated room, right next to the restaurant. Delicious beer! Come again.

I don't know what Schwalbe does with the beer, but the Augustiner simply tastes best here! Very pleasant pub atmosphere with a bowling alley, delicious food and very friendly and fast service. The beer garden in the courtyard is very cozy!

Super nice beer garden and restaurant a little away from the hustle and bustle of Munich's city center. The beer garden is small but cozy and the restaurant itself is beautiful inside. The food was very tasty, especially the char, which I would recommend to everyone. Staff also super friendly. All in all, a very good economy

Went there spontaneously for dinner and were lucky to get a table. You should reserve in advance. In my opinion, the quality of the food was extremely good. The Bavarian curry and the mountain cheese dumplings are highly recommended. We were thrilled.

Great economy, rustic and atmospheric. Celebrated my birthday here at the bowling alley, great fun for everyone! Always friendly staff, just as friendly regular guests. One of the most beautiful little pub gardens I know of in Munich. An absolute gem and always worth a visit in my opinion!

Nice little restaurant with an alternative, rustic flair. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was very good. We had tartar as a starter, char and cordon bleu as the main course and curd dumplings as dessert. Everything was perfectly prepared and lovingly presented. There was a bachelor party in the next room. However, that is part of the relaxed atmosphere here. I can definitely recommend the Schwalbe!

Eine urige Kneipe für Münchner, die man nur durch Zufall findet. Einfach, klar, laut. Im Dezember mit Würstchen, Glühwein und Punsch draußen mit Holzfeuer. Drinnen ehrliches Essen und ehrliche Preise. Die urige Kegelbahn darf nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Fast mitten im Lokal.

Super gemütlich und ein wunderbare normales Publikum. Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service war richtig gut und zuvorkommend. Man kann sich dort unterhalten, da es nicht zu laut ist. Das Lokal ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben uns mit unseren Kumpels dort getroffen um einfach einige Sachen zu besprechen. Leckeres Essen schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Kleine aber feine Karte mit gutem Gerichten. Wir hatten reserviert das war auch gut so denn die Kneipe ist beliebt und so haben wir gut an dem Tisch Platz gefunden. Wenn man sich relativ spät trifft wird es schwierig bis 11 Uhr die Kneipe pünktlich zu verlassen. Nächstes Mal werden wir früher ausmachen um dann rechtzeitig gehen zu können. Es ist dann immer schwierig in gemütlicher Runde rechtzeitig, dass man andere nicht stört, die Räume zu verlassen sorry. Wir hatten viel zu bereden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😘. Da die Kneipe für uns alle sehr gut gelegen ist werden wir uns gerne dort mal wieder sehen. Gruß Thomas

Ich habe einen "Schwalbe-Wurstsalat" gegessen. Sehr mittelmäßig, sehr sehr sparsam mit dem Käse, überhaupt, die Portion war ausgesprochen klein. Und mir war er auch viel zu sauer. Und das harte Schüttelbrot im Salat war eher störend. Aber die größte Enttäuschung war - es gibt Weißbier nur aus der Flasche. Sehr nett und aufmerksam war auf jeden Fall der Service.

Wir waren dort um etwas zu trinken. Es war sehr gemütlich und der Service top. Das Essen sah sehr gut aus, jedoch waren wir leider schon gesättigt, sonst hätten wir auch was gegessen.

Schöne Lage im Westend, klassischer Hinterhofbiergarten. Gute Verkehrsanbindung mit der 19er Strassenbahn Haltestelle Schrenkstr.

Ganz gut, aber Leitungswasser ist nicht drin. Man wird sogar blöd angeredet, wenn man auf der Toilette nachfüllt. Ist ja kein super gehobenes Lokal. Kann ich nicht verstehen bei einem Umsatz von 8 Leuten.

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung und dies zu passenden Preisen. Immer wieder eine Freude in der Schwalbe zu sein. Im Sommer ist der Biergarten mehr als zu empfehlen :-)

Établissement très sympa, on y mange super bien, en tant que français j'ai été super bien accueilli par une serveuse qui parlé très bien français, si jamais elle lit ce commentaire elle se reconnaitra. Dommage que c'était ma dernière soirée dans la ville, je l'aurais invité à sortir boire un verre.

Essen war hervorragend, Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Die Bowlingbahn ist eine seltenheit und gleichzeitig ein absolutes Highlight in der Gegend.

Esperienza fantastica in questo locale, la cucina non è sicuramente quella tipica tedesca ma è estremamente buona, ci siamo trovati molto bene e non vediamo l'ora di tornarci per provare qualcos'altro. Anche la crema bavarese era molto buona. Rapporto qualità-prezzo buono e nella media con il resto della città. Ragazze che servono molto gentile, disponibili a conversare in inglese e sempre sorridenti. È stato un piacere andarci

Absolute Geheimtipp. Von außen unscheinbar, von innen wunderschöner Biergarten. Essen ist hervorragend zubereitet, keine 0815-Hausmannskost. Für jeden was dabei. Dessert ist absolut einzigartig und lecker.
