The food we ordered was totally disgusting... the spaetzle was just a pile of flour and my son had roast pork with lots of small pieces... as if they were collected or leftovers... of well I called afterwards to complain...the answer was very rude...and I just hung up...what a shame

I can't recommend it. Unfortunately, the potato salad was bad and the dining room smelled of cigarette smoke.

Outside is open daily but is closed on a Saturday. Please call, not standing in front of a locked door.

My wife and I were there for dinner on July 31, 2024. The staff are all friendly, they have high chairs for small children and no matter what questions you had, they were all answered in a friendly and understandable way. Food was super tasty, maybe a little bit of wiener schnitzel with large fries but it was delicious, you can't say anything about it, the price was also completely okay. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Munich.

The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations for food. The main course and dessert were okay, but not a reasonable price-performance ratio. Unfortunately there were problems with the bill.

Food was ordered home. Cordon bleu, the meat wasn't bad because of the cheese and the breading was soft. The Kaiserschmarrn dough wasn't cooked through, and the applesauce in the package was all soggy. The salad that came with it already had the dressing in it, the salt was no longer fresh. I tried calling for 20 minutes and no one answered the phone. No more money scams.

**Review: Roast Pork and Pancake Soup** I was absolutely thrilled when the order was delivered in about 30 minutes. There was also a coleslaw that was okay and edible. **Roast pork:** - Unfortunately the roast pork was a bit dry. - The dumpling was soggy and tasteless, as if it had been cooked for way too long. - A small piece of crust on top looked promising, but unfortunately it was rubbery. - The sauce was ok. **Coleslaw:** - The coleslaw was a bit coarsely chopped, a bit finer would have been better. **Dumplings:** - Absolute failure: 0 out of 10 points. - Tasteless, no power – everything was missing. - I'm sorry to call this a dumpling. **Meat:** - Two equally cut slices, about finger-width. - Very dry, only small areas were juicy. - Overall very disappointing. **Pancake soup:** - The pancakes dissolved at the slightest touch. - The soup itself tasted like a flavor enhancer – nothing special. Not edible **Coleslaw:** - The coleslaw was a bit coarsely chopped, a bit finer would have been better. This was your second chance for this place, but unfortunately you disappointed me again. I was hoping it would be better as I like to eat Bavarian food more often. Unfortunately, this was not a good example of Bavarian cuisine. A pity! The entire meal deserves one star because the delivery person was very friendly and personable.

Unfortunately only cash payment possible. Ambiance has improved due to the new seating and tables. The food is good .

Were there yesterday, ate spareribs with stale hard bread and my colleague had warmed up hard roast pork! All in all not recommended!

Unfortunately, the Burenwirt has slacked off a lot over the years! We were regular customers for a while and loved coming. Unfortunately, it is now a complete disaster. The food is okay. But that's about all. The service has deteriorated a lot. We waited 15 minutes until the waitress (apparently a new one, as we had never seen her before) finally brought us the menus and cleared the table (the dishes from the guests in front of us were still on the table). Wipe the table, unfortunately none. I ordered a Hugo, a large water, a soup and a salad with turkey strips. The food came before the drinks and the salad for €13.90 was a disgrace. A few lettuce leaves, 5-6 strips of meat and a very thin salad dressing (in my opinion, fresh from the package). My Hugo was forgotten, when I asked I was told that there was no one there who could mix a Hugo....? - When the Hugo came with the bill, I had it go back because we wanted to leave anyway (€6.90 for a glass of Hugo without ice, mint, etc.? Not very appealing and a disgrace in terms of price). The waitress then made a huge fuss and almost started crying. Apparently their day didn't go well but that's still no reason to take it out on the guests. On top of that, she miscalculated when she wanted to deduct Hugo and then gossiped badly about the cook in the kitchen - that's so unprofessional! We won't be coming back any time soon! It's a shame actually.

Ordered through Lieferando and it wasn't anything special. The mushroom sauce had large fat eyes and the spaetzle was unfortunately very soggy. Munich schnitzel was okay but the fried potatoes were also very fatty and only a tiny portion

We ordered 2x Wiener Schnitzel today. 1x normal with potato salad and 1x the Rießenschnitzel with fries. The taste is very good, there is nothing more to say about it. We will order there again! Now the negative: Unfortunately, both schnitzels were exactly the same size, there was no sign of a Rießenschnitzel (see pictures). It's a shame, the Rießenschnitzel costs €3.50 more. In general, the portions could be a little larger. But for the price you can't say. We ordered via Lieferando. After 60 minutes the food was there. That's fine.

I had some cordon lead delivered as a giant schnitzel and got a drop in the ocean. They used to be three times as big and only cost 15 instead of 20 euros. They were honestly bad

Known for many schnitzel variations. A few years ago we ate very well in the restaurant, but now there is new management and the quality of the food seems to fluctuate. I can't explain the many good reviews any other way. A great Bavarian menu. A welcome change from the other usual take away dishes, such as pizza or Asian. The food was ordered via a delivery service and arrived after around 90 minutes. Also far too long for a Saturday. When it comes to Hüttenschnitzel, the Black Forest ham would be forgotten, as it is clearly crucial to the taste. You have to plan for the fact that delivery fries are soggy. The grill plate for around 19 euros was theoretically good in taste. Unfortunately, as is often the case, the meat in all dishes was absolutely fried and dry. Also due to the sparse side dishes, it was a mini portion compared to other restaurants. Some reviews speak of cheap food and good value for money. Not with this delivery! 3 stars are already very benevolent. Maybe we'll try again...

Newly moved here - tried out local pub - after waiting for over 1.5 hours, paid for the beer and left - unfortunately we won't be coming back - had potential

At first glance it's a cozy pub. What I didn't like, however, was that the calibration line on the beer glass was 2 cm too high in the first and second rounds.

Unfortunately, the food was severely lacking. Frightening. Spezi tasted stale and like dishwashing liquid. We also had to struggle with nausea and diarrhea after eating.

Quite a nice restaurant, service was alone, but still handled everything quite well. eat good

I've known the Burenwirt since I've been there. So 58 years. It was sometimes ok and sometimes terrible. But the last visit totally surprised me. The interior design is still good Bavarian, but the service is outstanding. Super friendly and super nice. But this is also about food. That was really great!! Recommended without ifs and buts. Keep it up!!!

Had Munich schnitzel with horseradish and potato salad today and it was very good. There's a new chef there.

Known for their schnitzels. They're something special. All other dishes are also highly recommended. I recommend the steamy Cordon Bleu with super crisp apple fritters as dessert.

Six months ago I probably would have only given 3 stars, but the Burenwirt has absolutely changed for the better. Super delicious food at very moderate prices and in a rustic atmosphere. We love it!

Service was friendly and nice but the food wasn't that great sadly, I had Schweinebraten with bread dumplings, the braten was really good actually and with a bit of crust. But the dumpling was tasteless and full of water, probably just unfrozen and reheated. Drinks were alright. Generally the atmosphere was a bit shellow. No music and pretty silent, you only hear the street. A bit of music in the background would break the almost depressing atmosphere

Klassische bayrische Gaststätte mit für München zivile Preise. Die Schnitzelauswahl ist riesig und lecker.

Wir waren am Feiertag (03.10.2023) zum Mittagessen dort und das Wetter ließ zu, dass wir sogar noch draußen sitzen konnten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatte sogar ein paar witzige Sätze für uns übrig. Nur leider fehlte es generell an Personal. Die nette Bedienung entschuldigte sich auch gleich zu Beginn dafür, dass es länger dauern wird. Es dauerte in der Tat ein bisschen, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten und die Getränke und das Essen bekamen. Die 2. Chefin kam viel zu spät (mit Kater vom Oktoberfestbesuch) ins Lokal und setzte sich lieber zu den Stammgästen dazu, als mit zu bedienen. Zudem hat sie ein sehr lautes, durchdringendes Organ, das mich dann doch etwas störte. Daher leider ein Punkt Abzug für den Service. Die Getränkepreise sind hier sehr günstig für Münchner Verhältnisse in der Gastronomie, was uns sehr erfreut hat. Auch die Preise für das Essen sind tatsächlich auch günstiger, als anderswo. Wir bestellten zum Essen: Schweinefilet mit Spätzle und Rahmsoße (nicht standartmäßig auf der Karte) sowie einen Zwiebelrostbraten mit Bratkartoffeln. Dazu noch einen Beilagensalat und als Dessert einen Kaiserschmarrn zu zweit. Das Schweinefilet und auch der Rostbraten an sich war perfekt rosa/medium gebraten, saftig und zart. Die Spätzle waren auch selbstgemacht, was ja leider häufig in anderen Gaststätten nicht der Fall ist. Daher war ich sehr begeistert darüber. Die Bratkartoffeln waren schön kross gebraten und gut gewürzt. Ebenso die Röstzwiebeln. Beide Soßen waren ebenfalls sehr lecker und selbstgemacht und nicht aus dem Eimer oder mit Pulver angerührt. Lediglich den Beilagensalat und den Kaiserschmarrn hatten wir ein wenig zu bemängeln, daher gibt's einen Punkt Abzug beim Essen: Im Salat befanden sich leider ein paar welke, braune Blätter, die ich nicht mehr essen wollte und definitiv vorher entsorgt hätte und der Kaiserschmarrn war nicht ganz durchgebacken. Das war aber nicht so schlimm, dafür wurde er extra ganz frisch zubereitet (Wartezeit ca. 30 Minuten, stand auch in der Karte drin). Die Gaststätte an sich ist eher rustikal und altbacken eingerichtet und erinnert auch eher an eine alte Kneipe, als an ein gutes Restaurant. Daher auch hier ein Punkt Abzug. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber und für deren Alter gut in Schuss/gepflegt. Für Rollstuhlfahrer oder gehbehinderte/eingeschränkte Personen ist das Lokal leider nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, da hier einige Treppen zum Eingang und dem kleinen Biergarten führen und auch zur Damentoilette 2 Stufen zu bewältigen sind. Fazit: Wenn man etwas Zeit mitbringt kann man hier sehr lecker und vor allem günstig essen und trinken. Daher spreche ich eine Empfehlung aus.

Wir mussten über 1 Stunde auf das Essen warten. Das Essen an sich ist geschmacklich durschnitt preislich ok. Wir werden auf jeden Fall uns beim nächsten Mal nach einem anderen Restaurant umschauen. Service kam mir überfordert vor obwohl innen nur 3 Tische besetzt waren und der Biergarten recht klein ist.

Haben über eine Stunde auf unsere 4 Essen gewartet. Dann war noch ein Haar im parniertem Schnitzel. Er hat zwar ein neues gebracht, werden aber nicht nochmal hin gehen. Rechnung mussten wir auch warten.

Wer Schnitzel in vielen verschiedenen Variationen mag, hat hier den richtigen Anlaufpunkt gefunden. Auch die Preise sind für heutige Verhältnisse recht günstig. Das sieht und schmeckt man den Gerichten aber nicht an. Und außerdem ist das Personal sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert. Weiter so!

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und sehr freundliche Bedienung! Im Biergarten sitzt man echt gemütlich und für die Wiesn ist ein gemütliches Zelt aufgestellt worden. Die Mass Augustiner Wiesnbier kostet nur Eur 6,90!

Gutes solides Essen das vorallem ein gutes Preis Leistung hat. Besitzerin ist sehr bemüht und wir sind für ein einfaches Wirtshaus sehr zufrieden. Wer also ein ausgezeichnetes einfaches Essen sucht der ist hier Gold richtig.

essen war bis jetzt gut bürgerlich gut, leider wird es schlechter, sehr schade service, ich habe das gefühl, mit jedem personalwechsel wird der service vs. essen nicht besser

Kleiner schattiger Biergarten Essen ist hervorragend und preislich gut.

Ich war länger nicht mehr da. Es hat sich verändert. Leider nicht zum Guten. Das Personal lustig. Mir fällt keine bessere Beschreibung ein. Essen ok. Aber hat mich nicht überzeugt. Ausstattung rustikal. Preis-Leistung ok. Gutes Personal ist halt nicht so einfach zu finden. Schade. Nochmal hin. Nicht wenn ich eine Wahl habe. Schade. Ahja und die Toiletten waren auch nicht sauber.

Toller Standort, super Atmosphäre, noch keine völlig überzogenen Preise wie sonst überall, das Essen war auch super und der Hammer war, dass in einem bayerischen Restaurant die überaus freundliche Kellnerin, die eindeutig Deutsch nicht als Muttersprache hat, sofort eingehakt hat, als ich mir nur Pommes mit Salat bestellen wollte, und meinte, ob ich mich vegan ernähre (korrekt) und dass da schon was gemacht werden kann! Mega, die Leute sind grundsätzlich sehr sympathisch!

"Sehr ehrliche und gute Hausmanskost" zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Große Schnitzelauswahl. Auch meine Eltern [ um die Mitte 80 ] sind gerne Gäste beim Burenwirt. Weiter so.
