Haus Tannenberg in Todtnau

29.5.26: heute unser Abschiedsessen. Morgen geht's wieder heim. Heute für mich die Eishexe ( Getränk) und für meinen Mann ein Radler. Dazu jeder einen Burger.Ich den Chicken Burger und mein Mann den Beef Bacon Burger. Es war wie immer lecker. Pfingsten 2026: heute hatten wir den vegetarischen Spargel Burger und Wiener Schnitzel, vorweg eine sehr leckere Spargelcremesuppe. Unverändert gut!!!! Wir kommen sehr gerne her!

Es war so lecker! Das Spargel cordon bleu ist zu empfehlen! Der Service ist auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich!

Cs 30 Minuten gewartet, um eine Bestellung aufzugeben und dann noch mal über 1 Stunde aufs Essen gewartet. Das ist völlig inakzeptabel. 2 Sterne, weil das Essen richtig lecker war.

Haben im April in Todtnauberg 1 Woche Urlaub gemacht. Wir waren 2 x dort Abendessen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sehr leckeres Essen und große Portion. Freundliche und Aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Man sollte nur reservieren. Beim nächsten Urlaub, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren sehr gerne zu Marta und Christopher und sind jedesmal begeistert. Hier passt wirklich alles! Die sehr gute Qualität der Speisen, die immer super lecker angerichtet sind und ein sehr freundliches Team. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Für uns das perfekte Komplettprogramm für einen gelungenen Restaurantbesuch.

Wir wollten im Rahmen eines Junggesellenabschieds einen Tisch reservieren. Bereits am Tag nach der Online-Reservierungsanfrage wurden wir vom Restaurant angerufen und nach dem Anlass gefragt. Direkt im Anschluss kam die Frage, ob wir denn vorhätten, betrunken zu erscheinen, da man in der Vergangenheit wohl schlechte Erfahrungen mit Junggesellenabschieden gemacht habe. Diese Frage empfand ich als unangemessen und voreingenommen. Natürlich kann ich verstehen, dass ein Restaurant schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht haben mag — pauschale Unterstellungen gegenüber potenziellen Gästen sind jedoch alles andere als kundenorientiert. Ein solcher Umgang hat bei mir einen sehr negativen Eindruck hinterlassen. Zum Essen kann ich daher nichts sagen, da ich die Reservierung im Anschluss storniert habe. Schade — aber so eine Ansprache habe ich von einem Restaurant bisher noch nicht erlebt.

Wir waren im Restaurant zum Abendessen. Das Essen war super lecker. Der Service super freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein Roboter hilft hier tatkräftig mit. 😉 Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen und freundlichem Personal

Super Restaurant und super Ferienwohnung! Gastfreundlichkeit, sauber, tolle Lage, direkt am Skilift, Wanderwege… Wir haben so gut gegessen im Restaurant, die Bedienungen sind extrem nett, alles sehr frisch und sehr lecker. Die Ferienwohnung einfach super, groß, sauber und alles da was man braucht. Wir waren mit Hund da und es ist sehr hundefreundlich, in unserer Ferienwohnung (Elias Nestli) gab es sogar einen extra eingerichteten Bereich für Hunde mit Fressnapf und im Restaurant gab es direkt ein Napf mit Wasser für unseren Hund. Vielen Dank, dass wir in diesem Haus ein paar wunderbare Tage verbringen durften.

Es war sehr toll im Restaurant das Essen macht echt satt+es ist sehrrr lecker der Service ist sehr nett und glücklich unterwegs und das Essen kommt schnell und so weiter es ist sehr toll dort innen sieht es auch sehr Klasse aus man kann einfach sich wohlfühlen und ja vertraut mit ihr werdet es nicht bereuen:)

Ein wirklich schönes Lokal, Reservierungen super einfach online über die Webseite. Sogar mit Erinnerungsservice zwei Stunden vorher. Dort angekommen, direkt super freundlich empfangen, für den Hund war direkt eine Wasserschüssel am Tisch. Das Essen sehr lecker und bodenständig. Eigentlich genau das, was ich vom Schwarzwald erwarte. Mehr wie zwei Daumen hoch 👍

Wir sind begeistert vom Restaurant und dem zuvorkommenden Personal! Im Februar haben wir mit unserem Sohn, welcher Zöliakie hat dort gegessen. Vom Service bis zur Küche finden wir nur lobende Worte. Man hat mit uns alles besprochen und alternativen gesucht. Also 5 Sterne. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Besser Plan B parat haben! Reservierung für 1800 Uhr gemacht, Vorlauf ca. 1 Woche. Dann 3 Tage vorher Anruf. Angeblich habe die aufnehmende Bedienung eine Reisegruppe mit 40 Leuten übersehen. Ich könne mich zwischen 1700 und 1900 entscheiden. Also muss ich Ad hoc für alle 4 entscheiden. 1700. Jetzt passt das den anderen aber nicht. Also einen Tag vorher auf 1930 wechseln wollen. Geht nun aber auch nicht. Ich sage, dass müssen sie jetzt aber mal möglich machen. Er sagt, wissen sie was, ich storniere ihre Reservierung jetzt und legt auf. Service 6, setzen!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir waren im Haus Tannenberg in Todtnauberg zu Gast und sind rundum begeistert. Schon beim Eintreten fühlt man sich willkommen – das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Freude und echter Gastfreundschaft gearbeitet wird. Das Ambiente ist wunderbar gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein: stilvoll, warm und genau richtig für einen entspannten Aufenthalt im Schwarzwald. Das Essen war hervorragend – liebevoll angerichtet, geschmacklich top und von sehr guter Qualität. Jeder Gang hat überzeugt. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit wohlgefühlt und den Besuch in vollen Zügen genossen. Ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team – wir waren rundum zufrieden!

Gehobene Küche mit fast ausschließlich regionalen Zutaten. Ausgezeichnetes Rehgulasch und Rindercarpaccio, auch die Rinderroulade und der Mont-Blanc-Burger waren sehr gut. Der Gastraum sieht noch so aus wie in den Achtzigern, aber die jungen Wirtsleute schaffen mit Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit eine eigene Atmosphäre.

Wir haben hier nur gegessen, aber es war fantastisch. Sehr hochwertiges Essen und ein hervorragender Service.

Wir waren hier zum Urlaub und haben uns spontan entschieden dort Essen zu bestellen und abzuholen. Am Telefon schon etwas unfreundlich und gestresst. Essen wurde telefonisch bestellt und es wurde eine Uhrzeit vereinbart wann es abgeholt werden kann. Wir kamen pünktlich an und dann wurde mitgeteilt das es wahrscheinlich schon kalt sei auf Nachfrage wieso da wir pünktlich sind , kam keine Adäquate Antwort. Preis für sehr hoch empfunden! Bürger Patty nicht durch und noch komplett rot , Salat zu bitter und sauer alle hatten Bauchschmerzen und Sodbrennen. Wir werden öfters hier in den Urlaub kommen aber dieses Restaurant werden wir meiden.

Wir sind spontan zum Mittagessen eingekehrt. Mega freundlich begrüßt worden, zuvorkommend bedient. Der Beilagensalat zur Vorspeise war liebevoll, kreativ und gesund zubereitet worden. Die Hauptspeisen super lecker und auf den Punkt genau...wir kommen wieder und können es jedem nur empfehlen.

Wir waren wieder mit der Familie Mittagessen. Alles bestens, allen hat’s geschmeckt, vom regionalen Weiderind bis zum veganen Essen. Sehr netter Service durch zwei junge aufmerksame Männer. Der Bedienroboter wird gut eingebunden, er schleppt die Lasten, der Service gewohnt persönlich und freundlich!

Having an apartment in Todnauberg, we went for dinner twice in one week during our vacation in the magnificent Black Forest. The dishes were freshly cooked, tasty, and meticulously prepared; even our 3-year-old was greeted with a mouse-shaped plate from the extensive children's menu! For a few weeks now, they've also had a robot waiter who helps them deliver dishes to the table, which was the main attraction for our little one.

While on vacation in Todtnau for my birthday, we went to dinner at this restaurant. The place is small and cozy. The service and food were very good. The prices were average. Highly recommended. P.S. Thanks for the Happy Birthday song played by the waiter robot!

Whenever we're in Todtnauberg, we regularly come here for dinner and have always been very satisfied! Delicious, very friendly, and flexible. Reservations are recommended, as it's very busy!

What a fantastic meal! Various regional products, I had the grass-fed beef... delicious! Not only did the other dishes look delicious, the guests seemed to enjoy them. The wine selection is exquisite, plentiful, and equally delicious. We were completely satisfied! 5 stars restaurant!

An excellent location for both a casual and romantic dinner. Excellent value. Generous, high-quality dishes. This success will undoubtedly bring more customers. I suggest having an extra server to speed up the service, which was excellent anyway.

We were here with the family. Two adults and two teenagers – the always hungry teenagers haven't been this full in a long time. You receive a warm welcome and service, and the food tastes simply wonderful. The small appetizer salad was so colorful and fresh. The schnitzel was huge and freshly pounded – indescribable. The cheese spaetzle was simply heavenly. We immediately reserved a table for the following day. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal here for a private occasion in November, were treated to friendly and attentive service, and Marta, the manager, conjured up a wonderful little Black Forest gateau for us for breakfast. Thank you!

We ate there, it was exceptionally good and I highly recommend it! The food was super delicious!!!

Super tasty and still new to the business (I think). But they did a great job. The service probably hadn't been there that long, but that's not a problem; they did everything right for us - better to ask twice and get it right than to overlook it and serve it wrong. The only downside for me is that the beer is served in a large 0.4l glass, especially if you've just come from Bavaria and are only used to 0.5 or 1.0l. That's just not appropriate. We even had a small snack beforehand, something that's becoming increasingly rare in Germany, but it really freshens up the service and the kitchen.

Spacious restaurant with generous dishes. We arrived without a reservation and were able to get a seat despite it being a public holiday. Highly recommended. The asparagus burger was divine, as was the slow-cooked meat. Vegetarian options are also available.

We had two delicious meals at the Haus Tannenberg restaurant while on vacation. The menu is varied (even for vegetarians). The food is delicious, and the wines are good. This restaurant has amazing food. And this is coming from a cook, with a catering business and a total foodie. Simple no frills food, but what they do, they do very well. I promise you, you'll not be disappointed. We ordered the pulled beef ribs, the pork sous vide (the mushroom sauce was divine) and the schnitzel. All very very good. We couldn't finish as the portions were so big and we ended up taking our leftovers back with us. Of course, they were that good! Must visit if you're in the area.

A fantastic culinary experience! We were at the inn a few days ago and are absolutely thrilled! The food was a poem - fresh, perfectly prepared and with ingredients from the region. We were particularly impressed by the selection of dishes, which were presented so lovingly and with the highest quality. You can simply taste that great value is placed on freshness and regionality here. The ambience was also a highlight: cozy, authentic and inviting. The service was friendly, attentive and always there with a smile - so you feel really welcome as a guest. For anyone who values ​​great food and a wonderful atmosphere, this inn is an absolute must. We made a last minute reservation, they were very friendly. There were vegetarian options and vegan too. Food was so good. Quantity of the food was also worth the money. We had Pumpkin bruschetta, it was fantastic. Alcohol free cocktail was very good too. The ambience and autumn decoration was also very elegant and classic. There is parking in the front of hotel so its easily commutable. For sure will visit next time to try dessert.

Wo soll ich anfangen? Die liebenswürdige Marta backte uns im Auftrag eine wundervolle kleine Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte mit ordentlichem Kirschwasseranteil ;-) für den Geburtstag meines Mannes. Zum Abendessen wählten wir die raffinierten Vorspeisen des Hauses - unbedingt probieren: die zarten, schmackhaften Kürbisstreifen - und ein traumhaftes Stück Weiderind, perfekt medium gebraten, mit Bratkartoffeln und erlesenem, feinem Gemüse. Ein gelungener kleiner Festabend, hier fehlte es uns einfach an gar nichts! Lieben Dank, Marta und Christopher!

Highly recommended restaurant. It may seem unassuming at first glance, but the food is truly delicious, hearty and unusual. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the Black Forest.

We wanted to come for dinner today, 3 adults and 3 children. It was 1:45 p.m. and the kitchen was supposed to be open until 2 p.m., an employee said that she no longer had room for us, even though half the restaurant was empty. We didn't feel welcome. Not recommended.

Excellent hostel, good local cuisine at a nice price

Hello everyone, today we spontaneously drove to Todtnauberg in super sunny weather to go hiking with our dog. Afterwards we went to eat with you and immediately brought our dog a pot of water without saying anything. The veggie burger and pumpkin bruschetta were delicious, the chef even brings the food to the table himself. So we can only recommend it, we would love to come back.

Great local restaurant with local cuisine. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Recommend going there for dinner, but better to book in advance. I imagine it can get busy here

Greatly prepared fish and excellent service! I come from the North Sea coast and have enjoyed many fish dishes, but I have rarely experienced such perfectly prepared fish as here. The plate was not only a visual highlight, but also outstanding in terms of taste. Kudos to the kitchen team! I'm currently staying in the Heidi holiday apartment, which I can also highly recommend. It is very nicely decorated and super clean. The hosts are warm and accommodating. I'll definitely be back!

The food was good but the chef was very unprofessional. We came yesterday with a group of 20 people. There should have been more, but some canceled the evening before, which wasn't entirely correct of them. When we got there we sat down, ordered and started eating. A colleague who originally couldn't come told us that he would still make it. He drove 45 minutes to meet us. When the very friendly waitress asked him what he wanted to eat, he said he was open minded, he just didn't want Hokkaido pumpkin. A few minutes later the chef demanded the attention of the entire restaurant and complained in a very cheeky way about the organization. He refused to serve our colleague, who then drove the 45 minutes back out of pride on an empty stomach. I can understand the chef's reasons. Given his terrible mood, he was definitely having a shitty day. But the way he treated the customers was shocking! So little professionalism and being upset that a guest doesn't want to eat pumpkin... Only the waitress was friendly and professional.

The very tasty dinner at Haus Tannenberg became a 5* experience thanks to the friendly service, especially since there are not that many alternatives in Todtnau, which is why you should definitely make a reservation by phone in advance. The ambience is traditional, the food a bit more modern, starting with the mushroom spread as a greeting from the kitchen. The Hinterwälder roast beef was tender and plentiful, and the side salad and dressing were delicious. The slightly watery vegetables and the colorless spaetzle lagged behind in terms of taste, but this was compensated for by the delicious dessert and would not justify deducting any points from the overall experience. The same goes for the vegan Rösti burger, which in our opinion would have been better served with a second crispy Rösti than the spongy curry tofu slice... or fried tofu... in our opinion, a burger needs a lot of crunch! Therefore, overall a recommendation!

Very child-friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Strange food requests due to allergies and personal preferences were also addressed promptly and courteously. All in all, a super pleasant stay and we will definitely find our way back despite the long journey.

Der Kuchen und das Essen war super lecker und alles war mit so viel Liebe zubereitet und angerichtet. Die beiden machen ihren Job mit sehr viel Hingabe und Freude. Das Essen war extrem lecker und wir haben uns sehr über die veganen und vegetarischen Optionen gefreut, die wirklich besonders waren und wirklich gut geschmeckt haben! Auch der gemischte Vorspeisenteller war super und die Portionen groß. Das Gastgeberin war sehr nett und die Atmosphäre schön, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt:) Große Empfehlung!

The meat was plentiful, my steak was excellent. The vegetables are more of a decoration than an independent flavor component. Unfortunately, the lamb that my wife ordered (“sous vide”) was edible but tough. The only comment from the waitress: “I’ll pass it on”… The owner's response to our feedback is a rude insinuation. Conclusion: Completely correct German food but nothing outstanding. We don't go there anymore.

Dear Marta and dear Christopher, it was a feast for us to dine with you. Small but very nice menu, nice service and really fantastic food. The portions were more than generous and very appetizing. If you want to go out for a good meal in Todtnau and the surrounding area, you can't go past you. You convinced us. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests!

We stopped by spontaneously for lunch and were given a place on the terrace. The ham & cheese bread was great. Regional products and homemade bread. There was also nice service and little tips for the city.
